Trump Vows There Will Be An ‘Orderly Transition’ Of Power On January 20th, Promises To Keep Fighting Election Outcome

President Trump, in a statement posted by White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, vowed an “orderly transition” of power on January 20th.

President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration and swearing-in ceremony are expected to take place on that day. It will be mostly virtual due to the pandemic.

In the statement posted by Scavino, the President vowed to continue fighting the election results regardless.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” the statement read.

“I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted,” Trump continued. “While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

Trump Vows Orderly Transition While Cabinet Members Threaten 25th Amendment

The Political Insider reported earlier today that members of Trump’s cabinet are considering using the 25th Amendment to remove the President from office before the 20th.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta cited a source close to Trump in reporting the possibility of invoking the Amendment.

Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger also called on the 25th Amendment to be invoked.

In a video message, Kinzinger accused President Trump of causing the violence that took place at the Capitol on Wednesday.

“The president caused this. The president is unfit and the president is unwell,” the anti-Trump lawmaker said. “And the president now must relinquish control of the executive branch voluntarily or involuntarily.”

More Rats Abandoning Ship

Mick Mulvaney, President Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, told CNBC on Thursday he has resigned from the administration where he was serving as U.S. envoy to Northern Ireland.

“I called Mike Pompeo last night to let him know I was resigning from that. I can’t do it. I can’t stay,” Mulvaney said.

“Those who choose to stay, and I have talked with some of them, are choosing to stay because they’re worried the president might put someone worse in.”

Meanwhile, President Trump took aim at his own Vice President for not rejecting the electoral votes.

Mike Pence on Wednesday issued a statement to Congress saying he didn’t have the Constitutional authority to refuse the certification of the Electoral College votes.

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify,” Trump tweeted.

Twitter blocked the tweet and demanded it is taken down.

A video showing Trump from many years ago discussing loyalty recently surfaced on social media.

“Someday I’d like to maybe lose everything for a period of time to see who’s loyal and who’s not loyal,” Trump says.

“You think certain people would be loyal no matter what,” he added. “And it turns out that they’re not.”

Will there be anybody loyal left in Trump’s inner circle by the time the orderly transition takes place?

Georgia Wins Pave Way For Biden Cabinet Picks, Policies

By Susan Crabtree for RealClearPolitics

Republicans threw everything they had at holding the line in the Georgia Senate runoffs, but it wasn’t enough.

The traditional political lines in the once ruby red state have shifted with the cities and suburbs now controlling political outcomes – and in this fateful year, they appear poised to hand President-elect Joe Biden the power to advance his agenda in Washington without Republican roadblocks.

In a repeat performance of the presidential election results in the Peach State, the substantial leads of Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler evaporated in the middle of the night as votes from Atlanta and its suburbs poured in.

RELATED: Republicans Who Blame Trump For Georgia Senate Losses Need To Look In The Mirror

At 2 a.m. media outlets began declaring Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock the winner over Loeffler, as his fellow Democrat, Jon Ossoff, began building a lead over Perdue.

That lead reached more than 17,000 votes by morning and is expected to grow throughout Wednesday.

The impact of twin Democratic wins, if both hold, is devastating to Senate Republicans and their ability to serve as a check on both Biden’s agenda and his ability to assemble a team of Cabinet picks and top-level officials throughout the federal government.

Biden had waited to choose his attorney general until after the Georgia runoffs as he calibrates who can most easily win confirmation in the upper chamber.

Now he can have far greater latitude in selecting his nominee for the nation’s top law enforcement official and many other positions in the new administration.

The Democratic wins help smooth the way for two controversial nominees in particular: Xavier Becerra, California’s attorney general who was tapped to become Health and Human Services secretary, and Neera Tanden, the president of the liberal Center for American Progress, named to helm the Office of Management and Budget.

Flipping control of the Senate also ushers in a new era in Washington and a changing of the leadership guard.

The Democratic wins in Georgia will deliver unified Democratic control in Washington for the first time in a decade and give Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York control over the chamber’s schedule and priorities.

RELATED: Ilhan Omar, Squad Members Call For Trump’s Impeachment, Expulsion Of Republican Lawmakers

Schumer will be the first Jewish Senate majority leader while Warnock will be the first black Democratic senator from the South and Ossoff the first Jewish senator representing Georgia.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will turn 79 next month and may have little desire to continue leading his conference with a return to the minority.

“Buckle up!” Schumer tweeted triumphantly Wednesday morning.

Biden put a positive spin on full Democratic control of Washington while campaigning for Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia on Monday.

“By electing Jon and the reverend, you can break the gridlock in Washington and this nation,” he said. “With their votes in the Senate, we’ll be able to make the progress we need to make on jobs and health care and justice and the environment and so many other things.”

If Ossoff maintains his lead, Schumer and his Democratic caucus can now put a number of their longtime legislative priorities to a vote, including a minimum wage increase, universal background checks for gun ownership, Obamacare expansions and the lifting of Trump-era restrictions on illegal immigrants.

RELATED: Trump Vows There Will Be An ‘Orderly Transition’ Of Power On January 20th, Promises To Keep Fighting Election Outcome

Because Senate rules now only require a simple majority when approving the appointment of judges, Biden also can begin to reverse the gains Trump and McConnell made in filling out the federal bench with conservatives.

During the Senate campaign, Perdue and Loeffler cast themselves as the last line of defense against a far-left socialist Democratic agenda.

They predicted that the opposition party would try to pack the Supreme Court and grant statehood to Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico while stripping away Second Amendment rights.

But some Democrats cautioned that with the very slim new majority, centrists like Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia would have increased power to block sweeping liberal goals, especially around energy and climate policy.

Manchin vehemently opposes ending the filibuster, the Senate process that requires a 60-vote threshold to pass most legislation, and will likely block efforts to eliminate it.

Manchin also has a long history of working across the aisle with GOP moderates such as Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah.

When it became clear that Warnock would win and Ossoff would likely prevail early Wednesday, Manchin’s name began trending on Twitter.

Republican recriminations began before sunrise, with most blaming President Trump and his constant focus on election fraud allegations over the last two months amid spiking COVID cases and deaths, and more broadly, his chaotic four-year takeover of the Republican Party.

“Suburbs, my friends, the suburbs. I feel like a one trick pony but here we are again,” tweeted Josh Holmes, McConnell’s former chief of staff and a GOP consultant.

“We went from talking about jobs and the economy to Q-anon election conspiracies in 4 short years and – as it turns out – they were listening!”

Even before any definitive results were in, Gabriel Sterling, the voting systems implementation manager for the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office and a Republican, said if either GOP senator loses, the blame “falls squarely on the shoulders of President Trump.”

Markets don’t like one-party control of Washington and showed signs Monday of unease about a possible Democratic takeover with a sharp sell-off that managed to mostly correct itself Tuesday with hopes of a bigger COVID relief package in play.

The prospect of full Democratic control has supply-side Republicans bracing for economic hits as they fret over Senate Democrats’ ability to use a 50-vote threshold allowed in the budget process to push through tax increases.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, the leader of the progressive wing of the party who successfully pushed mainstream Democrats to the left in recent years, is in line to become chairman of the Budget Committee.

RELATED: AOC Frustrated About Biden’s “Horrible, Revolving Door” Transition Team Full Of Corporate Bigwigs

David McIntosh, the president of the conservative Club for Growth, predicted that repeal of the Trump tax cuts and additional tax increases will become Democrats “No. 1 agenda item” along with green-energy regulations that curtail U.S. energy production and exports.

“I think it will basically mean that we’re going to be stuck with the COVID economy” over the long term, McIntosh told RealClearPolitics, noting that the stock market should remain “exuberant” with more stimulus packages expected under Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress, but jobs and corporate earnings could trail off as tax increases become law.

In the short term, Democrats will likely move to pass $2,000 stimulus checks for most families, up from the $600 checks Congress passed before its Christmas break.

McConnell opposed the larger number, refusing to allow a clean vote on the proposal after Trump’s last-minute push, which put Loeffler and Perdue in a tough spot as they rushed to support the higher payments after voting for the lower ones.

“Joe Biden & the entire Dem Party were incredibly clear of the stakes here, starting with the $2,000. Checks and massive economic relief policies that put money and resources in the hands of the people,” Alex Lawson, executive director of Social Security Works, tweeted Wednesday morning. “They are going to have to deliver that, starting with the checks on day one.”

Maxine Waters Whines About The ‘Missed Opportunity’ Congress Had To Impeach Trump ‘For Treason’

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) had yet another meltdown against President Donald Trump on Sunday, this time complaining about the “missed opportunity” she claims that Congress had to impeach him “for treason.”

Waters Thinks Trump Should Have Been Impeached ‘For Treason’

“On my 3/2017 pinned tweet one can see [Paul] Manafort, [Michael] Flynn, [Roger] Stone, all of whom have been pardoned [and] more of them to come. They know the criminal [and] illegal relationship [between] Trump [and] Putin! They’re part of it! We missed our opportunity to impeach him for treason. [New York] can make up for it!” Waters tweeted.

Waters Has Previously Called For Trump’s Arrest And Impeachment

Waters has long been one of Trump’s harshest critics, frequently calling for him to be impeached and even to be arrested.

“I’m calling on the GOP to stop Trump’s filthy talk of whistleblowers being spies & using mob language implying they should be killed,” she tweeted back in October. “Impeachment is not good enough for Trump. He needs to be imprisoned & placed in solitary confinement. But for now, impeachment is the imperative.”

Immediately after last month’s presidential election, Waters was quick to say that the “door is closed” on Trump’s presidency as she also called for him to be investigated.

“So let him keep going as far as he wants to go even though the door is closed on him now,” she said. “There’s nowhere for him to go. If he wants to try and keep going to the Supreme Court, let him try. It’s over.”

Waters Wants Trump To Be Investigated

Waters also said that she would “certainly would be in support of investigating the president of the United States.”

“What he has done in the four years that he has served as president is simply unconscionable, I think criminal in some cases,” Waters said of Trump.

“He’s placed this country in danger,” she said. “And the president of the United States is supposed to be about making sure that the country is safe and secure, and he has done everything possible to undermine our democracy. I don’t think that can be overlooked.”

“We should send a message across the world that we will not tolerate the undermining of our democracy in the way this president has done,” Waters added. “So again, I don’t know what President-elect Biden would do, but I certainly would support investigating the president.”

Romney: ‘No Evidence’ To Back Trump’s Election Fraud Claims

On Monday, Republican Senator Mitt Romney argued that there was no evidence that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, as President Donald Trump has claimed.

Sen. Romney made his comments on CNBC’s “The News” with host Shepard Smith, in a segment that also included updates on a possible new round of COVID stimulus.

RELATED: Biden’s National Policy Director Chillingly Says ‘Big, Bold’ Executive Orders On Guns And Healthcare Are Coming

Romney On Claims Of Election Fraud: ‘No Evidence Of It’

Smith noted Attorney General William Barr’s resignation by saying, “He’s claiming fraud, senator, and there’s no evidence of it. Bill Barr didn’t go along with it, and now he’s out.”

Romney replied, “Yeah, well, Bill Barr drew the line. I credit him with once you draw the line, if someone steps over it, you say ‘Okay, that’s the consequence.’ So he’s leaving.”

Both men seem to imply that Barr’s resignation has something to do with Trump’s belief that there was rampant election fraud, but there is no evidence to support that claim as Barr’s motive.

Shepard Smith To Romney: ‘How Much Damage Is The President Doing To Democracy?’

Former Fox News anchor Smith then suggested President Trump was undermining America’s democratic principles.

Smith asked Romney, “How much damage is the president doing to democracy trying to overturn the will of the people?”

Romney responded, “The biggest concern that I have is that people here genuinely believe that somehow this election was stolen, and there’s not evidence of that.”

“The president was saying it was stolen even before election day happened!” Romney said. “He said if he loses, it would be fraud.”

“Well, no one knows that,” Romney continued. “I thought I was going to win too when I ran for president in 2012. I didn’t. I didn’t go out and say fraud.”

“We have a process,” Romney said. “We count the votes. That’s the way it is.”

Romney Thinks President Trump’s Leadership Is A Bad Example To The World

Romney would add, “I’m concerned that the cause of democracy here as well as around the world — people look to us. We’re the democratic leader of the world.”

The Utah senator then took another dig at Trump.

“What’s going on now, I’m afraid, is terribly dispiriting to people all around the globe,” Romney insisted.

Romney has long been an outspoken “Never Trumper.”

In 2016, Romney launched an unprecedented attack on his party’s front-runner for the Presidential nomination:

Romney was also the only Republican Senator to vote to convict President Trump during his impeachment.

Trump Snaps At ‘Lightweight’ Reporter: ‘Don’t Ever Talk to the President That Way’

President Trump snapped at a reporter who tried interjecting on his comments about the election, referring to him as a “lightweight” and demanding he shows some respect.

The reporter has been identified in multiple outlets as Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason.

The media is portraying it as a meltdown when, in reality, it was a proper reminder to reporters who have shown zero respect for the President of the United States over the past four years exactly where they sit on the food chain.

Trump began with an observation that Biden’s election performance is remarkable in crucial swing states compared to Barack Obama’s past election performances, a fact that raises eyebrows in his view.

RELATED: Report: Media’s Biased Coverage of the Election May Have Handed the Presidency to Biden

Trump Snaps at Lightweight Reporter Jeff Mason

Mason began by asking the President if he’d be willing to concede the election should the Electoral College votes for Biden.

“Just so you understand, this election was a fraud,” he said.

“They have Biden beating Obama in areas that matter in terms of the election in swing states.  And yet he’s losing to Obama all over the place,” Trump continued. “But he’s beating Obama in swing states which are states that mattered in terms of the election.”

Mason tried interrupting the President which didn’t work out too well for him. Trump quickly snaps back at the reporter over his lack of respect.

“Don’t talk to me that way,” Trump scolded. “You’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way. Don’t talk to …”

“I’m the President of the United States. Don’t ever talk to the president that way,” he continued before shifting to another question.

Trump’s Touchy Relationship With a Biased, Unprofessional Media

President Trump has had to repeatedly battle a biased, unprofessional media that stands as perhaps one of the most corrupt institutions in America today.

At a press conference earlier this year, CNN reporter Jim Acosta claimed his network’s reputation “on delivering the truth is a lot better than yours.”

The President wrecked him on a national stage.

Acosta, of course, struggled to recall the fact that his network had to settle a massive lawsuit with Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann after the cable news station smeared him as a racist for the crime of wearing a MAGA hat.

Or the fact that CNN once had a ‘journalist of the year’ forced to resign at another outlet after it was discovered he fabricated his stories “on a grand scale” for many years.

Or the fact that three of their reporters had to leave the network after the publication of a ‘fake news’ report on Russia that was later retracted.

Or the fact that they blatantly helped doctor a call transcript with Ukraine to help fuel impeachment.

Or the numerous other stories that were proven to be false.

There have been other reporters at other outlets that the President has had to put in their place.

A Yahoo News reporter in April was on the receiving end of a verbal tongue-lashing when he tried to corner the President with false data about coronavirus testing.

President Trump had to tell CNN reporter Jeremy Diamond that his network is “fake news” and explained to the reporter he was sorely lacking in a major area.

PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor was on the receiving end of several testy retorts by the President over the years.

A study conducted by the Media Research Center recently shows biased media coverage very likely tilted the election in favor of President-elect Joe Biden.

President Trump has repeatedly warned Americans that the media is the “enemy of the people.”

They’ve more than proven him right over the past four years.

CNN: Conservatives Leaving Facebook And Twitter For Parler Is A ‘Threat To Democracy’

In CNN’s analysis of how conservative voters are handling the presidential election results, reporter Pamela Brown said that conservatives leaving social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook over speech suppression was a “threat to democracy.”

CNN’s Brian Stelter complained about smaller right-leaning news channels, like Newsmax, getting more viewers recently as conservatives hammer Fox News over its election coverage and what they view as anti-Trump bias.

RELATED: Meghan McCain Confronts CNN Host Brian Stelter On His Network’s Many Failings

Stelter: Conservatives Leaving Facebook And Twitter For ‘Safer Space’

Stelter said to Brown, “I think, big picture, Pamela, here is the concerning trend line here. People are going more and more into their own echo chambers, more into their own bubbles, especially Trump voters.”

“There’s this new social media app, called Parler, getting a lot of attention,” Stelter continued.

He added, “Because conservatives are leaving, saying they’re leaving Twitter and Facebook, going off to Parler because they believe Parler is a safer space for them.”

“What we’re seeing is even more of a bunker mentality in right-wing media,” Stelter said.“Ultimately, that’s not good for the country.”

That’s when Brown associated freedom of speech and choice with undermining democratic values.

“No, it is not good,” Brown responded (emphasis added). “It is a threat to democracy that these people are in echo chambers and they’re getting fed a diet of lies essentially.”

CNN Is An Echo Chamber

That’s rich.

The freedoms enshrined in our Bill of Rights are not threats to democracy.

The freedom of speech. Freedom of the press. Freedom of association. None of these are threats to democracy.

It’s the exact opposite. Suppression of these freedoms is a threat to democracy.

And really, is there a bigger echo chamber than CNN?

For years, Americans were constantly bombarded with “new” or “breaking” “information” that all supposedly pointed to Donald Trump allegedly colluding with Russia to throw the 2016 presidential election his way.

Then the Mueller report ended up as a huge nothingburger. Did the media ever apologize for it?

Impeachment was not an issue in this election. If Joe Biden even said it once, most missed it.

RELATED: What The Media’s Not Talking About: Republican Election Victory That Will Affect The Next 10 Years

Fake News Is A Threat To Democracy

But fake claims about collusion is what animated the Democratic Party for most of Trump’s presidency.

When an entire major political party defines itself by a fantasy of their own making, that’s a bubble.

And save for (sometimes) Fox News and alternative news outlets, the mainstream media protected that bubble.

We all live in our own bubbles to some extent. CNN tries to present its bubble as truth.

Some might call that a threat to democracy.

Pelosi Goes Off On Republicans As Trump Refuses To Concede – ‘Stop The Circus And Get To Work’

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spoke out on Thursday to scold Republicans who have stood by President Donald Trump as he continues to not concede the election.

Pelosi Has The Nerve To Tell Republicans To ‘Stop The Circus’

“Stop the circus and get to work on what really matters to the American people,” Pelosi said in a press conference, according to Yahoo News. “It is most unfortunate that Republicans have decided that they will not respect the will of the people.”

Pelosi is perhaps the last person who should be telling anyone to “stop the circus,” given the fact that she was the one who led the impeachment charge against Trump in the House earlier this year, despite knowing that it would never pass through the Republican-led Senate.

Her impeachment push was an enormous waste of time that distracted the entire nation while COVID-19 was simultaneously making it’s way into the U.S. for the first time.

RELATED: Pelosi Speaks Out To Say Biden Has ‘Tremendous Mandate’ To Push Democratic Agenda

Schumer Chimes In

Pelosi was joined at her press conference today by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who begged Republicans to acknowledge Biden as the president-elect.

“The election is over,” Schumer said. “Senate Republicans, stop denying reality.”

Schumer went on to say that Biden’s election was a mandate for Democrats, calling on Republicans to accept this by caving to the left’s demands in coronavirus relief bill negotiations.

“This election was maybe more a referendum on who can handle COVID well than anything else,” Schumer said. “The Donald Trump approach was repudiated. The Joe Biden approach was embraced.”

“And that’s why we feel there’s a better chance to get a bill in the lame duck [period] if only the Republicans would stop embracing the ridiculous shenanigans that Trump is forcing them to in the election and focus on what people need,” he added.

RELATED: Schumer Unloads On Feinstein For Acting Like An Adult In Amy Coney Barrett Hearings

Schumer might want to watch how much he throws around the word “referendum” when it comes to this election, given the fact that Democrats’ majority in the House shrunk considerably, and it looks like Republicans will be keeping the Senate. If the election was a referendum on anyone, it was most certainly on Democrats.

Pelosi Claims Dems Have Way To Handle COVID, They Just Need Biden Elected

On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi basically promised a presidential election win for former Vice President Joe Biden when she said that Democrats are ready to work with him on a transition agenda to tackle the COVID pandemic.

“I feel very confident that Joe Biden will be elected president on Tuesday,” Pelosi said.

“On Jan. 20, he will be inaugurated president of the United States.”

“So while we don’t want to be overconfident or assume anything, we have to be ready for how we’re going to go down a different path,” she said.

READ: Smug Nancy Pelosi Says She’s ‘Very Confident That Joe Biden Will Be Elected President On Tuesday’

Pelosi also added that Democrats have a way to crush the coronavirus — a science-based approach.

She’s Forcing Herself To Believe Her Lies

If you ask me – even when she tries to act confident, she sounds defeated.

For four years, Pelosi threw everything she could think of at the President, and in the end, everything failed.

When the President wins reelection on Tuesday, Pelosi and her actions will be just one of many reasons why.

Four years ago, Pelosi was positive that Hillary Clinton was going to win by a landslide.

The ordeal so weakened her that she still could not stand up or applaud at President Trump’s inauguration.

She’s Been Wrong About Almost Everything

By my count, Pelosi’s judgment has been wrong on every issue since she became Speaker.

From where I’m sitting, she seems to believe her best play is to obstruct everything.

Pelosi believes negotiation is a weakness, but she fails to appreciate that her “all or nothing” strategy does not work.

The House Speaker would be far more effective by getting the most important things she can bargain for.

Any fool can see that something is better than nothing.

Remember Nancy Pelosi’s recent meltdown with Wolf Blitzer, talking about COVID stimulus negotiations?

The Speaker of the House should have exceptional negotiation skills.

Clearly her list of accomplishments during her tenure has not met even a minimum standard.

READ: Chelsea Handler Brags About Verbally Assaulting Conservatives In Airports On ‘The View’

Until she puts aside her personal hatred of Trump and Republicans, she will never rise to serve her constituents in a manner that meets a minimum standard.

Her party and her supporters deserve and expect more from the Speaker of the House.

If Nancy cannot be successful in her position, she should step aside and let the party select somebody who can meet party goals and voters’ expectations.

Nancy Pelosi’s Science-Based Approach To Crush COVID?

Pelosi dropped a nugget during her briefing, declaring that Democrats have a science-based approach to crush the virus.

“The president has taken us on a deadly path. The Heroes Act takes us on a scientific path to help save the lives and livelihoods of the American people,” Pelosi proclaimed.

That’s amazing!

China birthed an interesting virus this time. It comes with an improved spike making “COVID Classic” look obsolete.

If you were building a new model car virus in the ’60s, this is a Mustang.

And it came with no seatbelts or brakes.

READ: Newt Gingrich Issues Major Warning To Trump Supporters Before The Election

What does that mean? This is a novel virus that no one knew how to control.

No mask, lockdown, guideline, quarantine, or otherwise was going to stop this virus from taking a toll.

Doctors, scientists, and officials should have known from Day One that the toll would be high – on American lives, the economy, and our way of life.

Take a look at what’s happening in Europe. Media figures beat us over the head with how great Europe was in following the experts.

Now countries like Germany and France are seeing a huge “second wave,” despite all their measures.

I think the best course of action is better therapeutics, vaccines, and protections for the elderly and infirm.

Open it all up… there’s your science-based approach from Wayne Dupree.

Beware Of Nancy Pelosi, Her Promises, And Her COVID “Science”

Democrats will not and would not work with the current administration to help save Americans’ lives, but they will if Joe Biden is elected?

Is that what Nancy is saying?

Getting rid of the coronavirus, “based on science?” The science of whom?

Behind the word “science,” there is always a group of people, their knowledge, limitations, contradictions, biology and passions, biases, and interests.

Today, the word is used with the same dogmatic authority as the word “God” up until a while ago.

Beware of people who speak in the name of “science.”

Whoopi Goldberg Suggest Democrats ‘Impeach’ SCOTUS Justices To ‘Balance Stuff Out’

On Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg suggested that Democrats make the unprecedented move of impeaching Supreme Court justices, saying that this would restore balance on the Supreme Court.

Goldberg Suggests Democrats ‘Impeach’ SCOTUS Justices

Goldberg said this while the panel on the ABC talk show was discussing the Supreme Court confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett by the Republican-led Senate the day before.

“I think her appointment is really going to change the way the Supreme Court is going to not only handle cases but the way the Supreme Court is going to look going forward,” cohost Sunny Hostin said. “We all know the Republican Party has been packing the Supreme Court for decades. They’ve been packing the judiciary for decades.”

“Trump has put now three justices on the Supreme Court and just dozens and dozens of judges on the federal judiciary,” she added. “I think what we’ll see is perhaps the Democrats unpacking the Supreme Court, so there’s more of a balance.”

That’s when Goldberg chimed in with her own bright idea.

“Or some impeachments which is possible with Supreme Court judges. They also can be impeached,” Goldberg said.

“There are lots of ways to shift this,” she added. “One could impeach judges that have not stuck to the rules of being judges on the Supreme Court. That’s been done several times. There’s a lot of ways to balance stuff out.”

Pelosi Flirts With Idea Of Packing Supreme Court

This comes after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) flirted with the idea of expanding the Supreme Court during an interview with MSNBC.

“Should we expand the court?” Pelosi asked. “Well, let’s take a look and see.”

“But not — and that relates to the nine district courts, maybe we need more district courts as well,” she added. “And one other thing we need, we need for these justices to disclose their holdings.”

RELATED: Pelosi Flirts With Packing Court And Suggests ‘Maybe We Need More District Courts’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a self-described Democratic Socialist who has become the face of the far-left side of her party, has let it be known that packing the court is something she will be fighting for if Joe Biden wins this election.

“Expand the court,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Monday. “Republicans do this because they don’t believe Dems have the stones to play hardball like they do. And for a long time they’ve been correct. But do not let them bully the public into thinking their bulldozing is normal but a response isn’t. There is a legal process for expansion.”

Brad Pitt Narrates Pro-Biden Ad Portraying Him As Bipartisan Unifier

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has thrown his support firmly behind Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as he narrated an add for him that aired during the World Series on Saturday night.

Pitt Narrates Biden Ad

Though Biden is known to be a firm Democrat, Pitt tried to portray him as a bipartisan unifier in the ad.

“America is a place for everyone,” Brad Pitt said in the minute-long commercial. “Those who chose this country. Those who fought for it. Some Republicans. Some Democrats. And most, just somewhere in between. All looking for the same thing, someone who understands their hopes, their dreams, their pain, to listen.”

“To bring people together. Pitt Has Gotten Political Before

This is not the first time that Pitt has gotten political. While accepting his Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood earlier this year, Pitt shamelessly used his speech to rant about the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

After taking the stage to accept his award, Pitt attacked the Senate for not calling on former National Security adviser John Bolton as a witness.

“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Despite Pitt’s speech, Trump was later acquitted by the Senate on all charges.

As a Hollywood star who has appeared in a wide variety of movies over the years, Pitt has fans on all sides of the political spectrum. It’s a shame that he feels the need to alienate millions of them by going political and blatantly catering to the liberal voting base.
