Colorado Pregnancy Center Set On Fire, Vandalized Hours After Roe v. Wade Decision

A pregnancy center in Longmont, Colorado was vandalized with spray paint and set on fire early Saturday morning, just hours after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade

According to authorities, fire broke out around 3 a.m. Officials also said that the building sustained fire damage.

Other Damage And Who Might Have Caused It

In addition to the fire, which authorities are investigating as arson, the front entrance to the building had been vandalized with black spray paint with symbols often used by Antifa, and a statement reading, “if abortions aren’t safe neither are you.”

That phrase has been found at the scene of other attacks, like the firebombing in Buffalo, New York.

Radical pro-abortion activists groups like “Jane’s Revenge” and “Ruth Sent Us” have taken credit for some of the attacks.

Protests and violence broke out in several cities over the weekend following the new landmark Supreme Court decision.

Ramping Up Violence

The violent rhetoric and protests by leftists pro-abortion activists has been escalating since a draft of the decision was leaked in May. While speculation abounds as to who might have leaked the document, there has been no recent information on the incident.

Earlier this month, an assassination attempt on Justice Brett Kavanugh was thwarted when a California man was arrested near Kavanaugh’s home in Maryland carrying such items as knives, a pistol, ammunition, pepper spray, and zip ties.

Since then, there have been attacks on crisis pregnancy centers and churches in at least 20 states and Washington D.C. The attacks have ranged from graffiti on the walls of centers and churches in Washington state and in the south, Molotov cocktails hurled at the pro-life Wisconsin Family Action Center, and a firebombing previous to the one in Colorado taking place in Buffalo, New York.

Abortion protesters also essentially held Arizona lawmakers hostage Friday night as they attempted to breach the State capitol building. Elected officials were told not to exit the building and tear gas was used to disperse the crowd.

Other Supreme Court Justices have had protests take place outside their homes.

When Rhetoric Meets Reality

Back in 2020, then Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) appeared to threaten Justices Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch should any abortion laws be rolled back.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

After the decision on Friday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called the Court “illegitimate” and encouraged pro-abortion activists to go “into the streets” to fight the ruling.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), also previously known for encouraging confrontation after former President Donald Trump’s election, also joined protesters outside the Supreme Court building,

“The hell with the Supreme Court—we will defy them. Women will be in control of their bodies.” Then, referencing the crowd, said to reporters,”You see this out here? You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

The FBI is assisting in the investigation in Colorado.

Lindsey Graham Cuts Deal With Bernie Sanders To Oppose ‘Election Deniers’ And ‘Defund The Police’ Candidates

Lindsey Graham offered to rein in pro-Trump Republican candidates who question the integrity of the 2020 election if Bernie Sanders would do the same regarding anti-police Democrats going forward.

The proposed compromise came about as the two Senators engaged in a debate as part of The Senate Project on Fox Nation.

Socialist Sanders (I-VT), during one exchange, started hammering Graham for his association with and promotion of Republicans who side with former President Donald Trump in questioning the legitimacy of the last presidential election.

“We have a former President whose name is Donald Trump. Goes around the country telling people, ‘Hey, I won the election. In fact, I probably won it by a landslide but they – they stole it. They took it away from me,’” Sanders argued.

“Now, that happens to be what we call a big lie,” added the socialist curmudgeon. He later lamented that the so-called ‘big lie’ casts doubt on the “entire system” and suggested it represents a slide to “authoritarianism.”

Lindsey Graham Compromises With Bernie Sanders

Lindsey Graham took the bait from Bernie Sanders and offered to rein in pro-Trump Republicans who cast doubt on the 2020 election.

Graham (R-SC) insisted he “voted to certify the election” and, despite there being “some mail balloting chicanery” declared that Biden won the election.

“But what about all of the candidates out there who are trying to say that he didn’t?” Sanders chimed in. “Your Republican candidates you want people to vote for?”

“Well, I, you know … what about the people saying defund the police? You talk to them, I talk to that crowd,” Graham replied.

Bernie’s Own Big Lie

Bernie Sanders responded to Lindsey Graham by saying, “But your crowd is a lot larger than my crowd.”

This is a statement that underscores Graham’s fumble in going the false equivalency route. He didn’t have to compare ‘defund the police’ Democrats to Republicans who call into question election results. No, that’s a whole different segment of extremists on the left.

Graham simply had to challenge Sanders to denounce Democrats who … have questioned election results.

Like White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who said the 2016 presidential election was “stolen.”

Trump’s opponent in the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton, spent years claiming the election was stolen from her by the Russians and anybody else she could point a finger at.

“I was the candidate that they basically stole an election from,” she said.

Jean-Pierre’s boss, President Biden, cast his own doubts, agreeing with a woman at a campaign rally who said Trump was an “illegitimate president in my mind.”

“I absolutely agree,” Biden replied.

Former President Jimmy Carter believed Trump lost saying, “I think a full investigation would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016.”

Democrats, in fact, objected to the election results in 2016 officially and during the proceedings certifying electoral votes 11 separate times.

So many ‘big lies’ right there.

And Lindsey Graham didn’t even need to bring up all those Democrat election deniers. He could have just challenged Bernie Sanders himself in the debate.

Sanders, you see, claimed the 2016 nomination was stolen from him by a system “rigged” to favor Clinton. Well, he used the ‘some people are saying’ play.

When asked if he would commit to supporting Hillary in 2016, Sanders replied: “Some people say that maybe if the system was not rigged against me, I would have won the nomination.”

Democrats, dating back to Al Gore’s refusal to accept defeat in 2000, have been the party of election skepticism. They haven’t suddenly turned a corner.

And they don’t get to play the ‘big lie’ card just because they think voters are too stupid to remember what they have done over the years.

Republicans like Graham need to stop playing defense on this and point to how Democrats were discrediting elections long before Donald Trump ever did.

CNN National Security Analyst Calls For End Of Immigration Enforcement In Response To Texas School Shooting

CNN national security analyst and former member of Barack Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, Juliette Kayyem, called for a halt to immigration enforcement in the area of Uvalde, Texas in response to the tragic school shooting.

Uvalde High School student Salvador Ramos is accused of murdering 22 people yesterday, including 19 children and 3 adults.

Kayyem, commenting on the “political issues in Texas” in an appearance on Jake Tapper’s “The Lead,” suggested the critical thing for everyone in the area right now is to have sanctuary.

“The most important thing for the federal government to do right now is to say there will be no immigration enforcement during this period in that area,” she claimed.

Kayyem noted that the demographics of the school district are overwhelmingly Hispanic.

“It has a large immigration population,” she continued. “You want parents with their kids; you don’t want people hiding right now, and we need to make that clear ASAP because of the political issues in Texas.”

CNN’s Response to School Shooting – Stop Enforcing Immigration Laws

CNN national security analyst Juliette Kayyem was so determined to make the point that suspension of immigration laws is the most important thing following the horrific shooting that she reiterated it moments later.

“We need the federal government to say right now, everyone is essentially safe harbor right now in terms of immigration status,” she declared, noting most illegal immigrants will avoid interaction with a heavy police presence in the area.

“We want to make sure that they know, despite all the politics going on in Texas right now, it’s the federal government that’s in charge of immigration enforcement,” she said.

“And people are safe. Get your kids, get your families together. Do not hide. The White House just needs to say that right now.”

She Wanted Truckers Arrested

Kayyem sounded very different when talking about Canadian truckers earlier this year who were peacefully protesting against COVID mandates.

In fact, she wanted law enforcement to take drastic action.

“Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks,” Kayyem said.

Days after the Capitol riot, Kayyem referred to then-President Trump as the “leader of a terrorist organization.”

January 6 Committee To Hold Public Hearings – Chairman Declares ‘The Public Needs to Know What to Think’

The House Select Committee investigating the January 6th riot at the Capitol is reportedly set to hold six public hearings – two in primetime – alleging former President Donald Trump and his associates broke the law in trying to overturn the 2020 election results.

The hearings will be held in June, according to the Guardian, which first reported the news.

Calling it a “pivotal political moment for the country,” the outlet reports that the panel will attempt to “publicly outline the potentially unlawful schemes that tried to keep the former president in office despite his defeat at the hands of Joe Biden.”

Congressman Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the select committee, gave the game away in his remarks regarding the public hearings about January 6th.

“We want to paint a picture as clear as possible as to what occurred,” Thompson (D-MS) told reporters. “The public needs to know what to think. We just have to show clearly what happened on January 6.”

Public Hearings on Capitol Riot

“The public needs to know what to think.”

Isn’t that the Democrat party Summed up completely in an 8-word sentence?

The biggest question on everyone’s mind is, with 6 public hearings ranging between 1.5 to 2.5 hours in length, will Adam Kinzinger have enough tissues on hand?

Rick Wilson, a one-time GOP strategist turned fervent Never Trumper, was also shedding tears over news that the January 6 committee would be holding 6 public hearings.

In Wilson’s eyes, that’s not enough.

“SIX HEARINGS? SIX? Are. You. F***ing. Kidding. Me?” he wrote.

In a follow-up tweet, Wilson claimed Trump witnesses would “filibuster, bulls***, evade and jerk themselves off on live TV” in an attempt to stonewall the hearings.

Setting Up the Narrative

Reports back in April indicated Thompson and the committee were prepared to hold eight public hearings on the January 6th riot at the Capitol.

So, according to the sources involved, this would be a streamlining of the attempts by the committee to influence opinions of what happened that day.

Aside from having the goal of telling the American people what to think, the June hearings will allow time for a full report to be released just in time for the midterm elections.

“The panel … plans to release a full report about the deadly attack on the Capitol in early fall,” CBS News reported at the time. 

Similar to Thompson’s comments, committee member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said the public hearings would be divided into chapters “that will allow for the unfolding of the narrative.”

As any good work of fiction would.

Raskin, of course, never was the subject of a public hearing about trying to overturn election results, despite objecting to counting electoral votes back in 2016.

The Guardian reports that sources have indicated that “committee attorneys will simultaneously flash texts, photos and videos to illustrate the testimony” during these public hearings.

This will be interesting since this same House Select committee admitted to doctoring a text message presented by Representative Adam Schiff as evidence at a hearing back in December.

The Guardian report notes that “the exact content and timings of the hearings are still subject to change.”

CNN Analyst And Former Obama DHS Official Demands Police Slash Tires, Arrest Canadian Truckers

CNN national security analyst Juliette Kayyem, responding to the ongoing trucker protest at the Ambassador Bridge, demanded police officers take drastic actions including slashing their tires and making arrests.

Kayyem, a lecturer at Harvard University and former member of Barack Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, made her comments in a social media posting about the ‘Freedom Convoy.’

The Canadian ‘Freedom Convoy’ has been a massive and peaceful demonstration against the US-Canada cross-border vaccine mandate.

For roughly five days, truckers have blocked the Ambassador Bridge connecting Windsor, Ontario, to Detroit, the largest bridge link between the U.S. and Canada.

Kayyem called for drastic measures to be taken by law enforcement.

“The convoy protest, applauded by right-wing media as a ‘freedom protest,’ is an economic and security issue now,” she tweeted. “The Ambassador Bridge link constitutes 28% of annual trade movement between US and Canada.”

“Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks,” Kayyem added.

CNN Analyst Wants Police To Slash Truck Tires

It’s difficult to understand how a former DHS official would think it a good idea to slash the tires and siphon gas from vehicles if the goal is to clear the blockade.

Kayyem probably didn’t think the tweet through very carefully. But she wasn’t prepared to walk away from her ridiculous ideas. In fact, she expanded on them in a follow-up tweet.

“Trust me, I will not run out of ways to make this hurt: cancel their insurance; suspend their drivers licenses; prohibit any future regulatory certification for truckers, etc.,” she continued.

“Have we learned nothing? These things fester when there are no consequences.”

Needless to say, there was some outrage over her suggestions.

Political commentator Stephen Miller asked, “You think you’re the good guy here?”

“Yes,” she replied. “This isn’t about vaccines. Stay unvaccinated. Your choice. Bad choice. Deadly one. Just don’t close an international border with your whining. So many emotions with you guys. It’s not personal.”

Sure thing. Kayyem is calling on police to respond like a scorned girlfriend in a Carrie Underwood song … but it’s everybody else who is emotional.

Unhinged

Juliette Kayyem is yet another example of the type of unhinged extremists CNN has hired as analysts for their programming for years, and at least partially a reason they can’t get intelligent people to watch their shows.

This isn’t the first time she’s engaged in extreme rhetoric and hyperbole to get attention.

Kayyem, days after the Capitol riot, referred to then-President Trump as the “leader of a terrorist organization.”

“Trump is the spiritual, but I will also say operational leader of this domestic terrorism effort,” she ranted. “He tells them where to go. He tells them what to do. He tells them why they’re angry.”

CNN’s Juliette Kayyem calling on law enforcement to slash the tires of truckers isn’t the only one calling for a muscular response to the ‘Freedom Convoy.’

The Biden administration has urged Canada to use its “federal powers” to end the protest.

“(DHS) Secretary Mayorkas and (DOT Secretary Pete) Buttigieg each spoke with their Canadian counterparts, urging them to use Federal powers to resolve this situation at our joint border,” a White House official said in a statement.

Can you even imagine the outrage if Trump had told a foreign nation to put down a leftist protest?

Republicans Had Info On Racism Charges Against Biden’s ATF Nominee Two Months Ago – And Sat On It

Senate Judiciary Republicans allegedly had information regarding racism charges against David Chipman, President Biden’s anti-gun nominee for Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and kept it under wraps for over two months.

A recent report corroborated that Chipman made racially charged statements about black ATF agents who were up for promotion.

“He made some comments that he was surprised by the number of African Americans who have made it onto a specific promotional list,” a current ATF official told The Reload.

“So, his insinuation was that they had to have cheated,” the official added. “Which is kind of despicable.”

Multiple complaints were lodged against Chipman and the official alleges it ended his time working in the ATF’s Detroit Field Office.

“He left Detroit because of that,” they said. “He did not leave Detroit on the best of terms. His reputation was that he was not nice to people.”

ATF Nominee Accused Of Racism

Last week, every GOP senator on the Senate Judiciary Committee demanded a second hearing for ATF nominee David Chipman in part because of the racism charges.

In a press release, the lawmakers wrote that the committee must address “allegations that Mr. Chipman made racist statements about the abilities of African American ATF agents, the existence of which allegations have been confirmed by current and former ATF officials.”

They believe the comments speak to Chipman’s character.

A report by the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) indicates staffers for the Senate Judiciary Republicans were informed of the racism charges nearly two months ago.

The staffers were reportedly notified that the ATF official was willing to speak with them about the claims.

The DCNF writes that “one of the staffers said their hands were tied and that the committee couldn’t reach out to the former agent to corroborate the allegation on their own due to ‘optics.'”

The information was received on June 10th, while the DCNF reported on the racism charges against Chipman on June 22nd.

Senate Judiciary Republicans did not call for a second hearing until late July.

David Chipman Appeared On Chinese State-Run TV

In addition to the racism charges, Senate Judiciary Republicans would also like to address news of an appearance Chipman made on Chinese State TV in 2012.

Chipman failed to disclose the appearance which, according to Fox News, “may have been used as propaganda by the communist state to cover up a mass stabbing of children.”

CNN has described Chipman as a “fierce advocate for gun control” who spent over two decades as a special agent with the ATF and has worked as a senior policy adviser for ‘Giffords,’ a gun control group formed by former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ).

Chipman’s first appearance before the Senate in May was a disaster by any measure as he struggled to define an ‘assault weapon’ and said he supports a ban on AR-15s.

“With respect to the AR-15, I support a ban as has been presented in a senate bill and supported by the president,” Chipman told Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) at the time.

Chipman has also argued in favor of a “well-regulated” Second Amendment and compared some gun owners to the ‘Tiger King.’

Last month, House Republicans pushed a resolution to impeach Biden’s ATF nominee before he has even been confirmed.

Marjorie Taylor Green To Introduce Bill To Expel Maxine Waters From Congress Over ‘Dangerous Rhetoric’

Calls are mounting to impeach or remove far-left Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters from office following comments in which she allegedly encouraged protesters to “get more confrontational” and “stay in the street” if the jury fails to render a guilty verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial.

Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, is on trial on murder charges in the death of George Floyd last year. Video of Chauvin’s actions during Floyd’s arrest has led to protests and unrest all over the country.

Waters (D-CA) traveled to Minnesota to encourage protesters, and called on activists to remain in the streets and let people know “we mean business” if the verdict does not go the way she feels it should.

“We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational,” she said, according to video from the scene by a group called Unicorn Riot. “We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

“We’re looking for a guilty verdict. We’re looking for a guilty verdict,” she continued.

“If nothing does not happen, then we know that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice, but I am very hopeful and I hope that we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty,” Waters said. “And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”

Tensions In Minnesota

Protests have been ongoing in Minneapolis with the Chauvin trial ready to conclude this week as well as the recent officer-involved shooting of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old black man who had an open warrant for his arrest related to an aggravated robbery attempt, according to court records.

The officer in that case resigned according to the former Chief of Police, after claiming she reportedly thought she was pulling her taser, but instead accidentally shot Wright. The Chief of Police also resigned.

Protests have been ongoing for about a week with some demonstrators hurling objects at police officers and over 100 arrests on Friday. 

In a subsequent interview on Sunday, Waters explained that she was in Minnesota “to be there kind of as Aunty Maxine” to the protesters, letting them know “they can count on me to be with them at this terrible time in all of our lives.”

The New York Post editorial board claims Waters’ comments were “irresponsible,” “inciting violence,” and accused the Democrat congresswoman of “trying to create a Civil War.”

The Post has called to impeach and remove Maxine Waters from office.

“By her own standards,” they write, noting her role in supporting the impeachment of former President Donald Trump over his alleged role in inciting the Capitol protests in January, “Maxine Waters should be impeached and removed.”

Calls Growing To Remove Aunty Maxine

The New York Post isn’t the only entity calling to impeach Maxine Waters for her comments.

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), currently running for governor of New York, called her rhetoric “poisonous.”

“Due to the continued dangerous and toxic incitement to violence by Maxine Waters, she should be immediately removed from Congress,” Zeldin tweeted.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), herself a controversial figure but one who has actually been punished by her colleagues for comments in years past, said she will introduce legislation to have Waters removed from Congress.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) also chimed in on Maxine Waters’ comments, saying Democrats are “actively encouraging riots and violence.”

He added, “They want to tear us apart.”

Perhaps more importantly, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), seemed to indicate he would move to take action against Maxine Waters, though whether or not that involved an effort to impeach remains to be seen.

“Maxine Waters is inciting violence in Minneapolis — just as she has incited it in the past,” McCarthy tweeted. “If Speaker Pelosi doesn’t act against this dangerous rhetoric, I will bring action this week.”

Waters courted controversy during the Trump administration, telling supporters to harass administration officials in public every chance they get.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she said.

Waters would later call on people to take to the streets to protest against Trump.

“I think he’s dangerous,” she professed, “I don’t know why people take it. I think Americans should be out in the streets screaming to the top of their voice. Do something. Make something happen.”

The Hill notes that following Waters’ comments, “Two guardsman were injured … when a gunman fired at a Minnesota National Guard and Minneapolis Police Department neighborhood security team.”

“However,” they add, “National Guard officials did not provide any immediate evidence of who fired at the law enforcement officials or a connection to Waters’s comments.”

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh opined that Waters’ comments are an effort to intimidate the jury in the Chauvin case.

“Maxine Waters is trying to intimidate a jury to influence the outcome of a murder trial,” he tweeted. “Every elected Republican in the country should be calling for her immediate arrest and removal from congress.”

Closing arguments will be presented in the Chauvin case on Monday, after which the jury will be sequestered.

The judge in the case denied a defense request to have the jury sequestered following Wright’s shooting.

The defense attorney “expressed concern that jurors might be made nervous to deliver a verdict with which the public does not agree,” according to NPR.

Did they hear Maxine Waters’ call for violence? Will they now have to be nervous about rendering a verdict that she and her followers “on the street” won’t agree with?

John Dean of Nixon/Watergate Fame Predicts Trump Will Be Indicted Soon

Former Nixon White House Counsel John Dean said on Thursday that he believes it is only a matter of days until former President Donald Trump is indicted. The name John Dean might sound familiar, he served as White House Counsel to Richard Nixon during the Watergate years.

Dean’s prediction comes from recent events surrounding former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.

In a report from The Hill, Cohen has allegedly met with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office on seven different occasions, apparently pertaining to a criminal investigation into Trump’s taxes.

Cohen, is serving a three-year home confinement for tax fraud, bank fraud, and lying to Congress about payoffs to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who allegedly had sexual encounters with Trump.

Dean opined:

“I assure you that you do not visit a prosecutor’s office 7 times if they are not planning to indict those about whom you have knowledge. It is only a matter of how many days until DA Vance indicts Donald & Co.”

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. (D), is currently conducting a wide-ranging investigation into Trump’s family business and finances.

What Is The Manhattan D.A Looking For?

Back in February, the Supreme Court ruled to allow the release of Trump’s tax returns. Trump has consistently said that at some point he would release his returns, but has yet to do so.

While the Court has allowed the release of the returns, they will not be made public, intentionally. The ruling simply allows them to be used in grand jury proceedings, which are to remain confidential.

However, former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman said that if Vance charges Trump, he is “98 percent sure (Trump’s tax information) will become public knowledge.”

Besides looking at Trump’s tax returns for the years 2011-2018, there are several aspects of Trump’s finances and business dealings that Vance is looking into.

According to The Hill, one of those things is Trump’s Seven Springs estate in New York. Vance’s office is trying to find out if the value of the property was inflated in order to reap greater benefits from financial institutions. 

The Hill report goes on to say that some of the other things being investigated that are related to Trump’s finances are reports of very low federal income tax payments and hundreds of millions of dollars of loans that are coming due for repayment.

Damaging Trump Politically

The speculation is also on whether any indictment would harm Trump’s political future, and if so, how much?

Trump’s political opponents say that any damage may be done among more moderate supporters instead of staunch Trump supporters.

Democrat Strategist Jamal Simmons told The Hill he believes the base of his supporters “won’t care.”

He added, “But for everyone else — for that khakis-and-blue-shirt-wearing office worker in the middle of Ohio who is just trying to keep his taxes low, for that average Republican voter out there — I can’t imagine, given other alternatives, they would choose Donald Trump again if he was facing legal jeopardy.”

Simmons may be engaged in some wishful thinking. Susan Del Percio, a Republican strategist, but also a sometime critic of Trump, stated, “Is his goose cooked on this? It depends on what’s in there.”

They Are Not Stopping With Donald Trump

Indictment and conviction of just Donald Trump are not enough.

Not only will Democrats keep coming after Trump for alleged crimes, they are also eyeing his family as well.

In February, Donald Trump Jr. was deposed by District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine as part of a lawsuit brought by the district over the misuse of funds by Trump’s inaugural committee.

Former First Daughter Ivanka Trump was also deposed in relation to the same inauguration fraud allegations.

In October 2020, Eric Trump, who runs the day-to-day operations of the Trump Organization, was deposed as part of the New York Attorney General’s investigation into whether the Trump Organization improperly inflated the value of its assets.

Trump has called the extensive investigation “a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country.”

Rand Paul Roasts Hypocrisy Of Impeaching Trump, Doing Nothing About Chuck Schumer, Waters, And Omar

On Sunday, Republican Sen. Rand Paul said that if Democrats insist on claiming that former President Donald Trump’s rally speech incited the January 6th Capitol Hill attack as a basis for impeachment, then Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer along with Democratic Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Ilhan Omar should be held accountable for similar language.

Paul made his comments on “Fox News Sunday.”

Sen. Paul: Democrats Have Used Violent Language With No Consequences

The GOP senator referenced Schumer’s rhetoric before a protest at the U.S. Supreme Court in early March 2020.

“I opposed the notion of — which I think was a misguided notion, a voting to overturn the election either with Congress or with the vice president,” Paul told Fox News Chris Wallace.

Paul continued, “But I think if we are going to criminalize speech and somehow impeach everybody who says, oh, ‘go fight to hear your voices heard,’ really we ought to impeach Chuck Schumer then.”

“He went to the Supreme Court, stood in front of the Supreme Court, and said specifically, ‘hey Gorsuch, hey Kavanaugh, you’ve unleashed a whirlwind, and you’re going to pay the price,'” Paul reminded viewers.

“You won’t know what hit you if you continue with these awful decisions,” Paul recalled Schumer saying.

Sen. Paul wanted to know why this speech did not qualify for potentially inciting violence.

“This inflammatory wording, this violent rhetoric of Chuck Schumer was so bad that the chief justice, who rarely says anything publicly, immediately said this kind of language is dangerous as a mob tried to invade the Supreme Court,” Paul continued.

Paul added, “So if people want to hold President Trump accountable for language, there has to be a consistent standard, and to my mind, it’s a partisan farce because they’re not doing anything to Chuck Schumer, not doing anything to Representative Omar, not doing anything to Maxine Waters.”

“It’s just not fair,” Paul finished. “It’s just partisan politics under a different name.”

Chief Justice Roberts Chastised Schumer’s Violent Rhetoric

The senator has a point, and Schumer was even accused of trying to incite physical violence at the time he made his controversial remarks.

As the Supreme Court was weighing a case about abortion, Schumer said at a rally in March 2020, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price.”

“You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,” Schumer said.

Chief Justice John Roberts publicly rebuked Schumer, saying: 

“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous.

All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter.”

Some Senate Republicans called on Schumer to apologize or face possible censure.

Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Barrasso said, “To me, this sounds like he is talking about a physical price, violence.’

Waters Encouraged Physical Intimidation Against Trump Administration

Rep. Maxine Waters appeared to encourage physical violence and intimidation against members of the Trump administration at a political rally in June 2018.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up,” Waters told a crowd. “And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd.”

“And you push back on them,” Waters added. “And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Omar appeared to endorse further violence when she retweeted Hollywood actor Tom Arnold’s comments about an incident in which Rand Paul’s neighbor severely injured him in an attack in 2017.

Paul told Fox News Sunday that Omar was “wishing and celebrating the violence that happened to me when I had six ribs broken and part of my lung removed.”

Pelosi Claims ‘The Enemy Is Within The House’ As She Calls Out Armed Colleagues As Security Threats

During her weekly press conference on Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) revealed that the chamber is probably going to allocate more money to members of Congress to provide additional security for themselves.

Pelosi said that the chamber is not only doing this due to the Capitol riots earlier this month, but also because of what she described as the “enemy” within the House.

“We will probably need a supplemental [budget] for more security for members when the enemy is within the House of Representatives — a threat that members are concerned about in addition to what is happening outside,” Pelosi said.

When asked for clarification on what she meant by this, Pelosi proceeded to call out some of her fellow members of Congress.

“It means we have members of Congress who want to bring guns on the floor and have threatened violence on other members of Congress,” she said.

This came hours after 32 members of Congress sent a letter to House leadership claiming that members were facing a “significant uptick in threats of violence and even death.”

The letter, which was led by Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Dean Phillips (D-MN), asked the House to allocate supplemental funds for security “given the increased threat level,” as well as other increased security measures.

Pelosi Doubles Down

Pelosi said in her presser that she has already asked retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré to lead a review of the U.S. Capitol’s security. She has also issued a new guidance allowing lawmakers to use their office budget funds to purchase things like bulletproof vests and security guards at local events.

“General Honoré is looking to see what really will work in terms of their service here, their service home, their transportation in between,” she said.

Unsurprisingly, Pelosi also didn’t miss an opportunity to once again accuse former President Donald Trump of inciting the Capitol riots.

“This is very, very important,” Pelosi said of the security concerns. “It shouldn’t be.”

“It shouldn’t be that not only is the president of the United States inciting an insurrection but keeps fanning the flames endangering the security of members of Congress to the point that they’re even concerned about members in the House of Representatives being a danger to them,” she concluded.
