Pro-Trump Republican Challenging Lisa Murkowski Releases First Ad: ‘America First, Always’

Kelly Tshibaka, a pro-Trump conservative challenging Senator Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, has released her first ad.

Murkowski, a Republican, voted to convict Trump during his second impeachment trial.

While the ad avoids making any negative commentary about her opponent, Tshibaka does sprinkle in some clearly Trumpian elements to her message.

“I’m a conservative, pro-life, pro-second amendment,” she confidently states. “And America first, always.”

Tshibaka also positions herself as an outsider running against an establishment Republican.

“The insiders don’t like me because I spent my career exposing taxpayer fraud and abuse,” she tells potential voters. “That’s okay, I’m not running for them, I am running for you.”

Tshibaka most recently served as Alaska commissioner of administration, a position from which she stepped down to announce her campaign to unseat Lisa Murkowski.

Pro-Trump Kelly Tshibaka Ready To Take On Murkowski

While the new ad by Kelly Tshibaka doesn’t delve into any specific messages contrasting herself with Senator Lisa Murkowski, she is, as Alaska’s News Source reports, “closely aligned politically with former President Donald Trump.”

Tshibaka has defined herself as a “new generation” of Alaska conservatives and chastised Murkowski for siding with Democrats in the impeachment trial, voting to convict Trump for the charge of incitement of insurrection related to the Capitol protest.

“President Trump has been great for Alaska, and we need to remember that in both elections Alaska selected President Trump as our president,” Tshibaka told the outlet.

“I don’t think it helps Alaska when our senator goes against and picks a fight with a president who’s benefiting our state.”

Tshibaka has also reportedly hired several advisers with ties to the former President to help her with a campaign to defeat Murkowski.

“Former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien, deputy campaign manager Justin Clark and battleground states director Nick Trainer … will serve as Tshibaka’s senior advisers,” Politico reveals.

She also brought on Tim Murtaugh, who was communications director on Trump’s reelection effort.

Trump: I’ll be There To Campaign Against Murkowski

Donald Trump has yet to endorse anybody against Lisa Murkowski though Politico notes he is “on the hunt for a credible Murkowski opponent on the senator’s right flank.”

Trump has repeatedly bashed Murkowski not only for her impeachment vote but for consistently standing alongside Senator Susan Collins and the late John McCain in obstructing a conservative agenda.

He recently knocked Murkowski for her role in voting to confirm appointees for President Biden who have, he states, led to the revocation of ANWR drilling permits.

“Not only did Murkowski kill the biggest economic stimulant for the State, but also one of the biggest energy-producing sites in the world,” he criticized.

“She’s the best friend Washington Democrats ever had—and Alaska’s reward for that betrayal is an empowered Left coming after their wealth and jobs,” he added.

“I think she will be met very harshly by the Alaska voters in 15 months, and I will be there to campaign against her!”

“We can’t let the Radical Left destroy Alaska’s Energy Industry with their Socialist job-killing agenda,” Tshibaka recently tweeted.

“If Liberal Lisa Murkowski won’t protect us, I will!” she added.

Pelosi Mocks Male Republicans For Not Being Able To Handle Party ‘Girlfriend’ Liz Cheney

As calls grow for Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) to be ousted from her leadership roles, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is mocking male Republicans for trying to find a “non-threatening woman” to replace her.

Pelosi’s Spoof Ad

Staffers for Pelosi sent out a spoof “help wanted” ad as calls mounted to remove Cheney for her moves against former President Donald Trump, according to Yahoo News.

“Word is out that House GOP Leaders are looking to push Rep. Liz Cheney from her post as House Republican Party Chair – their most senior woman in GOP leadership – for a litany of very Republican reasons: she won’t lie, she isn’t humble enough, she’s like a girlfriend rooting for the wrong team, and more,” the ad stated.

“So what exactly are House GOP Leaders looking for in a #3? Punchbowl AM got the scoop and, well, it’s not surprising … they want a woman who isn’t a ‘threat’ to them,” it continued.

This was a reference to Punchbowl News, which reported on Tuesday that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) want Cheney ousted and replaced with someone who is “not relentlessly on message, but also someone who does not pose a threat to them and their power.”

McCarthy Sounds Off

While appearing on “Fox & Friends” this week, McCarthy said that some members of the caucus were “concerned” about Cheney’s capacity to do her job as a conference chairwoman.

“There’s no concern about how she voted on impeachment. That decision has been made. I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair – to carry that message,” he said.

Cheney Attacks Trump

Cheney has long been an outspoken critic of Trump, recently saying that “it’s important” that he not run again in 2024.

“I don’t think that that’s going to happen,” Cheney told the Washington Examiner. “And I think it’s important that it not happen, given what he did.”

While she also said that she “certainly would never vote for a Democrat” and she also stated that she does not think Trump “should be president again.”

Brad Pitt Narrates Pro-Biden Ad Portraying Him As Bipartisan Unifier

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has thrown his support firmly behind Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as he narrated an add for him that aired during the World Series on Saturday night.

Pitt Narrates Biden Ad

Though Biden is known to be a firm Democrat, Pitt tried to portray him as a bipartisan unifier in the ad.

“America is a place for everyone,” Brad Pitt said in the minute-long commercial. “Those who chose this country. Those who fought for it. Some Republicans. Some Democrats. And most, just somewhere in between. All looking for the same thing, someone who understands their hopes, their dreams, their pain, to listen.”

“To bring people together. To get up every day and work make life better for families like yours,” the Twelve Monkeys star added. “To look you in the eye, treat you with respect, and tell you the truth. To work just as hard for those who voted for him as those who didn’t. To be a president for all Americans.”

Pitt Has Gotten Political Before

This is not the first time that Pitt has gotten political. While accepting his Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood earlier this year, Pitt shamelessly used his speech to rant about the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

After taking the stage to accept his award, Pitt attacked the Senate for not calling on former National Security adviser John Bolton as a witness.

“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Despite Pitt’s speech, Trump was later acquitted by the Senate on all charges.

As a Hollywood star who has appeared in a wide variety of movies over the years, Pitt has fans on all sides of the political spectrum. It’s a shame that he feels the need to alienate millions of them by going political and blatantly catering to the liberal voting base.

Video: I Cried When I Watched Super Bowl LIV ‘Ragged Old Flag’ Tribute By Johnny Cash And Here’s Why

I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Johnny Cash was hands down the most badass country singer in history!

I cried, and I am not ashamed to let anyone know because I love my flag, and I hate that citizens in this country continue to disrespect her.

I’m a very proud Veteran, and I love that flag more than words can say. No matter where I was deployed, I always had our flag there. My oath of enlistment will end when I die ( United States Air Force, 1987-1995 and served in Operation Desert Storm/Shield). I love my country, dearly, and I fought hard for it. I hope I made a difference; I tried my heart out too.

Anyone who hates that flag, hate the millions who died to protect them. Think about that. Men and women with families and dreams died to protect your rights to speak your mind. And just because you want to say something wretched and nasty about this country, doesn’t mean you should.

I get chills when Johnny says, “because she’s been through the fire before, and I believe she can take a lot more.” I love this country, and I love my fellow Americans who feel the same way as me.

I think that every American should listen to this song, and if they don’t feel proud and have a tear in their eye, maybe they should think about not considering themselves American.

This right here is why I’m not only proud to be American. I’m damn proud of every soldier that has ever fought and died for that “ragged old flag.” This should be our national anthem.

I don’t know about you but I wish it were still those times. May have not been any better than today, but at least families were closer and stronger or that’s just how I feel, people are way too into technology, and not out in the real world.

We are lucky to live in this great country. I am so sick of everyone protesting this or that. We need a day of no protest, where we should all appreciate the fact that we are Americans first and agree to disagree peacefully and politely! We need peace.

RIP all brave men and women that died defending Old Glory.

It makes me tear up every time.

Lindsey Graham’s 2020 opponent releases impeachment statement using Lindsey Graham’s own exact quote

Jaime Harrison is running for Senate as a Democratic candidate hoping to unseat incumbent Lindsey Graham. Sen. Graham, like Sen. Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican Party stoolie squad, have fallen into line under the single-most transparently corrupt president in any of our lifetimes. As one of the big proponents of impeaching then President Bill Clinton, back in 1998, Sen. Graham has come under fire over the past year for how starkly contradictory his public statements today when compared to those from 1998. Harrison justifiably has decided to use Graham’s words against him, tweeting out from his personal account, Harrison posted a video, with “Official Impeachment Statement:” as the header.

In the video we see Harrison speaking to the camera, reading a statement from a paper in his hands.

HARRISON: For the good of the nation, I think, it would serve us all well if we thought about this one idea. After we’re all dead and gone,

It is here, on the second sentence, that we can hear Sen. Graham’s wilting southern accent come up behind Harrison’s, as it is revealed to be Sen. Lindsey Graham’s statement on impeachment, from Dec. 22, 1998, to reporters somewhere underneath the Senate’s chambers.

GRAHAM: [continued] do you have something to present history that will withstand scrutiny, where everybody had a chance to have their say, in a reasonable way, in a focused way, so that history would judge us based on the facts, and based on a meaningful hearing not just on the political moment.

The image fades back to Harrison reading the end of Graham’s words.

HARRISON: [continued] And if we think about that, it’s very important to me that we leave behind a legacy that meets the model of American justice.

It may be hard to believe but before Donald Trump there were many Republicans, like Sen. Graham, who used a patina of eloquence in order to drive home their bleak and cynical world views. Now that this mask has been ripped free and the soul of the Republican Party has been revealed to be the monstrous faces of bigotry and greed, it is hard to connect the senator from South Carolina, who spoke so eloquently about impeaching then president Bill Clinton for his extramarital affair, with the senator from South Carolina who has said in no uncertain terms that he will not even pretend to participate in an impartial trial concerning the abuses of power in the Executive Branch of government.

SemDem has been covering a lot of Harrison’s moves in his trip toward the Senate, and you can learn a lot more about Harrison’s chances and stances here.
