Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 footage sparks bipartisan outrage

Fox News host Tucker Carlson whipped up a firestorm Tuesday on Capitol Hill, sparking bipartisan backlash and igniting tensions with Capitol Police by downplaying the Jan. 6 Capitol riot on his prime-time program as “mostly peaceful chaos.”

His show divided Republicans, with a number of GOP senators ripping his portrayal of the incursion at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, who rarely offers opinions on political issues, said the Monday night show was filled with “offensive and misleading conclusions about the Jan. 6 attack.”

“The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video. The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during these less tense moments,” Manger wrote in a memo to lawmakers.

“Those of you who contributed to the effort to allow this country’s legislative process to continue know firsthand what actually happened.” 

The segment was the first of two installments planned for this week relying on security footage granted to Carlson by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Carlson was expected to air more clips from the footage during his show on Tuesday evening. 

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) issued a scathing rebuke of Carlson and Fox on Tuesday, holding up a copy of the memo and saying he wanted to associate himself “with the opinion of the chief of the Capitol police about what happened on Jan. 6.”

“It was a mistake, in my view, [for] Fox News to depict this in a way completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official in the Capitol” described, McConnell said.

It’s an unusual position for the host of one of Fox’s most-watched programs, who, while often a magnet for the ire of the left, seldom gets such direct criticism from those on the right. 

Carlson, who has previously criticized McCarthy on his show, suggested at the start of the year that the new House Speaker release all Jan. 6 security footage in order to win support from detractors threatening to block his path to the gavel. McCarthy later gave Carlson exclusive first access to the footage, but has denied that release came as a result of negotiations for the Speakership.

Though McCarthy and other Republicans said last week that footage released for broadcast would be subject to a Capitol Police security review, and Carlson said as much on his show, Capitol Police said it saw just one of the several clips that Carlson aired on Monday: An interior door that Carlson said was blurred as a result of security concerns.

“We repeatedly requested that any clips be shown to us first for a security review,” Capitol Police told The Hill on Monday. “So far we have only been given the ability to preview a single clip out of the multiple clips that aired.”

A senior GOP aide with knowledge of the process of releasing the footage said the Capitol Police provided a list of what would be considered security sensitive, and only one clip that Carlson wanted to air met that standard, which Capitol Police then cleared.

The same camera angle was released without any blur on the door during the 2021 impeachment of former President Trump.

“We worked with the Capitol Police to identify any security-sensitive footage and made sure it wasn’t released,” McCarthy spokesman Mark Bednar said in a statement.

A representative for Fox News declined to comment on Tuesday. 

A number of lawmakers offered pointed and direct criticism of Carlson’s first use of the footage.

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), meanwhile, told multiple news outlets said that Carlson’s show on the Jan. 6 footage was “bullshit.” 

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) told CNN: “To somehow put that in the same category as a permitted peaceful protest is just a lie.”

Carlson at the same time won plaudits from other Republicans who have similarly criticized and downplayed the attack. 

“When will judges begin applying justice equally? Doesn’t look like “thousands of armed insurrectionists” to me,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said in a tweet after thanking McCarthy and Carlson for showing the footage.

“I've seen enough. Release all J6 political prisoners now,” Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) said in a tweet as Carlson’s show aired.

Trump also weighed in on the footage, praising Carlson and McCarthy over its publication and calling the tapes the Fox host played for his audience “irrefutable.”  

Carlson aired the footage after being granted access to the trove of security tapes by McCarthy, prompting outrage from Democrats and pundits who raised concerns that the tapes could threaten Capitol security procedures and amplify conspiracy theories.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on the Senate floor on Tuesday called Carlson’s show “one of the most shameful hours we’ve seen on cable television,” saying he was “furious” with both Carlson and McCarthy. He called on Fox News and its owner Rupert Murdoch to tell Carlson to not run more footage on Tuesday evening. 

“Speaker McCarthy has played a treacherous, treacherous game in catering to the far right,” Schumer said.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), who was one of the members on the Jan. 6 committee, is among those who have raised security concerns over the release of the footage, noting it could be used to map the Capitol and the evacuation path of lawmakers.

He called Carlson’s show and conspiracies about Jan. 6 pushed through his documentary a “central part of the GOP agenda and playbook as they try to get Donald Trump elected to the White House again.”

“They didn't even apparently honor their agreement with the Capitol Police to provide the clips in advance. So there can be some attempt to contextualize whatever silly potshots they're taking,” he told The Hill.

“The absurd part is they act like their fragmented and disoriented potshots from Capitol security footage are the only documentary record of what happened. There are thousands and thousands of hours that have already been published – not just security footage – but also [by] media that were present and insurrectionists themselves. The whole world was watching and everyone knows exactly what happened. They are involved in a fraudulent enterprise here,” he added. 

Among the unfounded theories Carlson floated in his Monday program were suggestions that federal agents helped incite the violence, though he stopped short of providing evidence to prove it. He also cast doubt on the circumstances surrounding the death of Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick.

It was something Manger deemed “the most disturbing accusation from last night” in asserting his death “had nothing to do with heroic actions on Jan. 6.”  

“The department maintains, as anyone with common sense would, that had Officer Sicknick not fought valiantly for hours on the day he was violently assaulted, Officer Sicknick would not have died the next day,” the chief said.

The top-rated host last year produced and published a multi-part documentary series dubbed “Patriot Purge,” which purported to tell an alternative story of the attack and features at least one subject who suggests the event may have been a “false flag” operation. 

The publication of the tapes also comes as Carlson specifically and Fox more generally are taking intense heat from critics over revelations the company’s top executives and talent embraced and discussed Trump’s false claims about the 2020 election on air but privately cast doubt on them. 

“They believed the election they had just voted in had been unfairly conducted,” Carlson said Monday of the people who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6. “They were right. In retrospect, it is clear the 2020 election was a grave betrayal of American democracy, given the facts that have since emerged about that election,” he said. “No honest person can deny it. Yet the beneficiaries of that election continue to lie about what is now obvious.” 

Manger dismissed those conclusions in his Tuesday letter.

“TV commentary will not record the truth of our history books,” he wrote in his letter. “The Justice system will. Truth and justice are on our side.”

Capitol Police says it reviewed just one Jan. 6 clip Tucker Carlson showed

U.S. Capitol Police say they saw just one of the many clips from the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol that Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired on Monday night, after he was granted access by Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

“We repeatedly requested that any clips be shown to us first for a security review,” Capitol Police told The Hill on Monday. “So far we have only been given the ability to preview a single clip out of the multiple clips that aired.”

The limited consultation comes after McCarthy said Capitol Police would be consulted before the video aired to address security concerns.

“We work with the Capitol Police as well, so we’ll make sure security is taken care of,” McCarthy told reporters last week.

Carlson said on his show that his team checked with Capitol Police before airing the footage, and that their reservations were “minor” and “reasonable.” 

His show blurred the details of an interior door in the Capitol due to those concerns.

The same camera angle of the door was previously released during the impeachment trial of former President Trump in 2021, without any blurring of the door, picturing senators and staff evacuating.

The disagreement over whether Capitol Police were meaningfully consulted comes as Carlson says he will release more of the roughly 44,000 hours of unseen footage he now has access to. 

A senior GOP aide with knowledge of the process of releasing the footage said that there was coordination with Capitol Police. 

The Capitol Police gave a list of what would be considered security sensitive, the aide said. 

When Carlson’s team picked out the clips to air, only one of those – the clip with the door – was considered to be security sensitive based on that list, and then given to the Capitol Police to review. 

The Capitol Police then cleared that clip, with the details of the door being blurred.

“We worked with the Capitol Police to identify any security-sensitive footage and made sure it wasn’t released,” McCarthy spokesman Mark Bednar said in a statement.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), chairman of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, also said last week that the footage given to Carlson to air would be cleared for security purposes.

“It’s basically controlled access to be able to view tapes. Can’t record, can’t take anything with you. Then they will request any particular clips that — that they may need, and then we’ll make sure that there’s nothing sensitive, nothing classified — you know, escape routes,” Loudermilk said.

A representative for Fox News did not immediately return a request for comment. 

“This action clearly does not coincide with promises of safety and security and endangers everyone who visits and works in the Capitol complex,” Rep. Joe Morelle (D-N.Y.), top Democrat on the House Committee on Administration, which oversees Capitol Police, said in a statement to The Hill. 

During his primetime show on Monday, Carlson aired the first portion of never-before-seen angles of footage from the attack by Trump supporters, downplaying the violence that broke out during the incident describing the scene at one point as “mostly peaceful chaos.”

“‘Deadly insurrection.’ Everything about that phrase is a lie,” Carlson said during his show Monday night. “Very little about Jan. 6 was organized or violent. Surveillance video from inside the Capitol shows mostly peaceful chaos.”

The agreement to consult Capitol Police over the footage comes after Democrats and several who worked on the Jan. 6 panel raised the alarm over the security fallout that could result from sharing the footage.

"When the Select Committee obtained access to U.S. Capitol Police video footage, it was treated with great sensitivity given concerns about the security of lawmakers, staff, and the Capitol complex,” Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), who served as head of the Jan. 6 panel, said at the time.

“Access was limited to members and a small handful of investigators and senior staff, and the public use of any footage was coordinated in advance with Capitol Police. It’s hard to overstate the potential security risks if this material were to be used irresponsibly.”

McCarthy’s Tucker Carlson decision ‘despicable,’ says Schumer

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday said that Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) decision to share security footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol exclusively with Fox News host Tucker Carlson was “despicable” and damaging to security.  

Asked whether he would share the security footage of the attack, some of which was aired publicly during former President Trump’s 2021 impeachment hearing and during the hearings of the House select Jan. 6 committee, he said it would need to be reviewed by experts.  

“Look, I think what McCarthy did was despicable, damaged our security,” Schumer said of his House Republican counterpart. “Certainly … when he listens to a small group of the MAGA right, he’s going to run into trouble himself.” 

“As for releasing it, security has to be the No. 1 concern,” he said.  

McCarthy decided last week to grant Carlson access to all of the Capitol’s security footage from Jan. 6, sparking widespread controversy given Carlson’s work on a 2021 documentary series that framed the attack on the Capitol as a “false flag” operation intended to turn public opinion against former President Trump and his supporters.  

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) on Tuesday dodged a question about whether he agreed with McCarthy’s decision to share sensitive footage with Carlson, who entertained Trump’s claims of a stolen election on his show while privately expressing extreme skepticism about them.  

“Going back to when Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi [D-Calif.] was Speaker, my main concern is the security of the Capitol,” the GOP leader said tersely.  

Asked if sharing the footage may compromise Capitol security, McConnell reiterated “security of the Capitol,” which he said “was obviously severely threatened on Jan. 6” was his top concern.  

Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), the chair of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, said Tuesday that footage from Jan. 6 would be subject to a security review before going to Fox News.

Tucker Rips GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy As Democrat ‘Puppet’ After Audio Surfaces of McCarthy Ripping Trump Supporters

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson eviscerated Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy as a “puppet of the Democratic Party” after audio surfaced of the House Minority Leader criticizing former President Trump and some of his staunchest allies in Congress.

McCarthy initially denied reports that he had a conversation with other GOP leaders about encouraging former President Donald Trump to resign over the Capitol riot, prompting two reporters for the New York Times to release audio to the contrary.

“The only discussion I would have with him is that, I think this will pass,” he told Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY), referencing the Senate impeachment trial. “And it will be my recommendation you should resign.”

The reporters followed that up by releasing subsequent clips of McCarthy speaking with House Minority Whip Steve Scalise regarding concern over fellow Republicans – particularly America First Representatives Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and Mo Brooks (R-AL) – ‘putting other lawmakers at risk’ with their comments about the 2020 election.

“Well, he’s putting people in jeopardy, and he doesn’t need to be doing this,” McCarthy said of Gaetz. “We saw what people would do in the Capitol, you know?”

McCarthy claimed that America First Reps. referring to other Republicans who weren’t going to fight the election results as “anti-Trump” was “serious stuff” that “has to stop.”

“Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away, too?” the California Republican would later ask.

Tucker Carlson Slams McCarthy as Democrat Puppet

Tucker Carlson, in commentary on his Tuesday show, took Kevin McCarthy to task over the suggestion that big tech censorship was the way to go in dealing with fiery Trump supporters.

“Donald Trump, the sitting president, had already been silenced by those companies. But McCarthy wanted the tech oligarchs to do more, to force disobedient lawmakers off the internet,” a seething Carlson told viewers.

“Quote, ‘Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away too?’ Those are the tape-recorded words of Congressman Kevin McCarthy, a man who in private, turns out, sounds like an MSNBC contributor.”

Carlson went on to warn that unless something changes, McCarthy may very well be the House Speaker following the midterm elections. And how would that be any different than what we’re seeing now, he wondered?

“That would mean you would have a Republican Congress led by a puppet of the Democratic Party,” he contends.

“So, you wouldn’t know any of this list unless it was leaked. And you can start to see why the people in charge oppose transparency and fervently support censorship on both sides.”

Gaetz Slams McCarthy as Weak, More Concerned About Protecting Liz Cheney

Gaetz also slammed Kevin McCarthy and Scalise regarding the conversation, describing them as “weak men” more concerned with protecting Never Trump Republicans Cheney and Representative Adam Kinzinger from criticism.

“Rep McCarthy and Rep. Scalise held views about President Trump and me that they shared on sniveling calls with Liz Cheney, not us,” Gaetz hammered. “This is the behavior of weak men, not leaders.”

“While I was protecting President Trump from impeachment,” he continued, “they were protecting Liz Cheney from criticism.”

Gaetz referenced McCarthy’s objection to calling people who are anti-Trump ‘anti-Trump.’

“They deemed it incendiary or illegal to call Cheney and Kinzinger ‘Anti-Trump,’ a label both proudly advertise today,” he pointed out.

McCarthy’s call for Big Tech to rain down hellfire on Trump supporters stands in stark contrast to comments he made in May of 2021 when he vowed action against these social media platforms specifically referencing Facebook’s ban of Trump.

“If they can ban President Trump, all conservative voices could be next,” he said at the time. “A House Republican majority will rein in big tech power over our speech.”

Just maybe not the Trump supporters, especially when the heat gets turned up by the media.

Texas Sheriff Claims Biden Admin Releasing Illegal Immigrants Into U.S. Without COVID Testing

A Texas Sheriff claimed on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that the Biden administration is releasing illegal immigrants into the interior of the U.S. without any COVID testing.

Sheriff A.J. Louderback of Jackson County made his comments to Tucker after the host asked him whether or not illegal immigrants who are released into the United States after being detained were getting tested. 

The Sheriff replied in the affirmative:

“It’s absolutely true. It’s even, if I can continue, Tucker, the memo, the memo that I received this last week, it’s essentially a defund the ICE by memo, by a memorandum that was sent out by David Borkowski on Jan. 20 or 21. So this is a particularly devastating document for Texans and Americans here in the United States.

Sheriff Makes Shocking Claim About COVID-19 Testing

Sheriff Louderback, in his interview with Carlson, did not hold back.

He said that the memo, put out to CBP (Customs and Border Patrol), ICE, and USCIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services) essentially ties the hands of these immigration enforcement agencies. 

The Sheriff stated that, “This is a particularly devastating document for Texans and Americans here in the United States. When I read it and looked at it, it’s a message to the world that you can come here illegally, you can commit crimes here against Americans, and remain illegally.”

At a time where the U.S. and the rest of the world are still in the grips of a global pandemic, the Sheriff was particularly bothered, as should all Americans be, by the very vital issue of COVID testing being overlooked. 

 “The COVID issue [is being] during that time. So I struggle for a thought process, like many Americans and Texans, on how an administration can conduct themselves in this manner,” stated Sheriff Louderback.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been many news articles about illegal immigrants who have been afraid to get tested for COVID for fear of being identified and deported.

Back To Obama-Era Lawlessness

Sheriff Louderback also said that this was not the first time that America had gone the way of lax enforcement of immigration law. “We walked this path from 2008 to 2016,” he said.

The Sheriff stated that the policy was very similar to the Priority Enforcement Program in 2014 and 2015 during the Obama administration.

In his interview, Sheriff Louderback painted a very grim view of the safety of Americans, at least for the next four years.

“Every peace officer in the United States should be extremely concerned about the attitude, the lawlessness, the complete abject removal of law.

We have a full nullification of the law going on here. We’re going to allow our ICE officers, USCIS, all affected by this memo, which guts the INA and handcuffs them so that they’re unable to respond. So in law enforcement here, those of us that don’t have the jurisdiction to enforce the federal laws here, we’ve created a situation that is unthinkable for the public.”

Immigration Under Joe Biden

New Biden administration policies include guidelines for Homeland Security that will mean fewer arrests and deportations for drug crimes, DUI’s, and low-level assaulters, fraudsters, and thieves.

Sheriff Chuck Jenkins of Frederick County Maryland says that traditionally in the deportation process, criminal histories are considered.

With fewer arrests for these kinds of crimes, those who may have committed crimes will be free to walk the streets. 

Those coming into the country through the southern border are not just from Mexico and Central America.

Recently, eleven Iranian citizens were apprehended in Arizona, and there is evidence of Chinese drug lords assisting Mexican drug cartels in smuggling fentanyl and other substances across the border.

The new policies are a strong departure from the policies of the Trump adminstration.

Eric Swalwell Named As One Of Pelosi’s Impeachment Managers

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced nine managers she has chosen to lead President Trump’s second impeachment, with Rep. Eric Swalwell among them.

Swalwell’s inclusion is a bit of a surprise, having been named in a report last month indicating he had been the target of a Chinese spy.

“Congressman Swalwell serves on House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he chairs the Intelligence Modernization and Readiness Subcommittee, and on the Judiciary Committee,” a press release from the Speaker’s office reads.

“He is a former prosecutor and is the son and brother of law enforcement officers.  He is serving his fifth term in Congress.”

Swalwell has never been a serious member of Congress, let alone somebody who should be placed in positions of power.

His latest rants calling Republican senators objecting to the election results as being members of the “Coup Klux Klan” and falsely alleging they were fraternizing with “terrorists” is yet another example.

Eric Swalwell, Named in Chinese Spy Report, Is Now an Impeachment Manager

Pelosi naming Eric Swalwell as an impeachment manager seems to be a nod that she supports the embattled Democrat congressman despite his alleged connections to a Chinese spy.

A bombshell Axios report last month indicated that a woman by the name of Christine Fang “took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign” and that she interacted with the Congressman “at multiple events over the course of several years.”

Fang had served as a Chinese Intelligence operative with China’s Ministry of State Security.

The FBI warned Swalwell about Fang in 2015 during his first year on the House intelligence committee.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson added to the scandal by alleging during a broadcast that “U.S. intelligence officials believe that Fang had a sexual relationship with” Swalwell.

The Democrat refused to comment on the matter, citing such information as being possibly classified.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) immediately called for Swalwell’s removal from Congress following the reports, while others insisted he should have been removed by the House Intelligence Committee long ago.

Pelosi defended her colleague, saying she didn’t have “any concern” about him.

Swalwell, thus far, has not been accused of any wrongdoing by any intelligence officials.

Other Impeachment Managers Named

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) will serve as the lead impeachment manager. Raskin, of course, plotted Trump’s impeachment before he stepped foot in the White House.

In fact, prior to President Trump’s inauguration day, the lead manager had impeachment on the brain.

“I just know that if I’m going to vote to impeach the man at some point, I would like to be able to look him in the eye on Inauguration Day,” he said when asked if he planned on attending the event.

Demonstrating just how unserious this impeachment team is, Raskin objected to certification of Florida’s electoral votes in 2017.

Yes, the same reason Democrats are screaming that Trump must be impeached, that Republicans must be expelled from Congress, that conservatives must be purged from social media – objecting to electoral votes – is exactly what Raskin did just three years ago.

CNN reported at the time:

Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland rose to object to 10 of Florida’s 29 electoral votes.

“They violated Florida’s prohibition against dual office holders,” Raskin said.

Again, despite the fact that Raskin pointed out that he had his objection in writing, he failed to get a senator’s signature.

In fact, House Democrats tried objecting to the certification of electoral votes for Donald Trump 11 separate times. Why were there no calls for their expulsion?

Tucker Exposes Democrats’ Plan To Stop Trump’s SCOTUS Pick – ‘Burn The Entire F***ing Thing Down’

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson called out the media and Democrats threatening to ‘burn the entire thing down’ as a means to stop President Trump’s Supreme Court nomination.

While most were calling to honor and revere Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the occasion of her passing, Carlson notes that the left was not.

“Prominent progressives immediately descended into hysteria and rage – unbridled rage,” he said during Monday’s monologue.

Carlson insists the commentary coming from the left shows they truly believe that RBG’s death has “imperiled this country’s freedoms.”

That she had “single-handedly kept America from descending into fascism and tyranny.”

They believe this in their hearts. And that makes them quite dangerous.

To Stop Trump, Democrats Want to ‘Burn the Whole Thing Down’

After explaining the left’s mindset, Tucker proceeded to point out their obvious demands. Demands you can see in their very own words and actions.

“Democrats have an alternative argument at the ready and it’s one they’ve been honing all year,” he explained.

“It goes like this,” revealed Carlson. “‘Do what we want or we will hurt you.'”

It didn’t start with the fight to stop President Trump’s SCOTUS pick.

In fact, for months now in Democrat-led cities, violence has been raging supposedly in the name of racial justice.

‘Defund the police or we will hurt you.’

Does anybody remember that? Does anyone remember how Democrats during that time refused to denounce the violence?

Now America is on the verge of seeing even more violence over a Supreme Court nomination. A nomination the Constitution directs President Trump to make.

But, just as Carlson said, even this message of violence involving the Court has been looming all year.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), in March, threatened Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh with violence.

“I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price,” Schumer railed, pointing a stern finger.

“You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Message sent: Democrats are okay with violence if Supreme Court matters don’t go their way.

‘Give us what we want or we will hurt you.’

More Signs Pointing to Democrat Violence

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Monday warned that Democrats will try “every conceivable dirty trick” to prevent Trump’s nominee from going forward.

If you don’t believe McConnell and Carlson, then you need only listen to the unhinged rhetoric coming from our friends in the media and the Democrat party.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have indicated they would use impeachment – a tactic reserved for high crimes and misdemeanors – to stop the SCOTUS pick.

Schumer, the same guy who has threatened justices with violence, nodded along in agreement.

President Trump dared them to do it.

Then you have the liberal lunatics pervading the media and entertainment industries.

Reza Aslan, a former personality at CNN who is known for voicing his desire to punch a teenager, called on rioters to “burn the entire f***ing thing down.”

“That effing thing being our country,” Carlson responded. “That we built.”

Aslan also threatened civil war essentially, responding to McConnell’s announcement that Trump’s nominee will receive a vote with, “over our dead bodies.”

If you thought he was kidding, Aslan added, “literally.”

Beau Willimon, the man behind the American version of ‘House of Cards,’ threatened to shut the country down.

Emmett MacFarlane, a professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, reiterated threats to burn America down.

Don’t think words will lead to actions? Consider the fact that liberal anarchists spent the last few months setting fires to and looting businesses in several cities across America.

Now consider that they’ve already begun harassing Republican Senators in their homes.

Not only have Schumer and the media authorized their followers to engage in violence, but AOC is also demanding they become ‘radicalized’ over the President’s SCOTUS pick.

“Let this moment radicalize you.”

Remember those words. Play them in your head while watching footage of the devastation in Democrat cities over the last few months.

And realize they are coming again.

“The Democrat party has encouraged this extremism over and over and over again,” Carlson said.

Is there any reason to think it will be different this time around?

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Just Buried Hypocrite Chris Cuomo

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany took it to CNN ‘journalist’ Chris Cuomo after the latter mocked President Donald Trump for taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure against coronavirus.

It turns out, Cuomo actually took a form of the drug during his own treatment for the virus.

According to his wife’s blog posts regarding her husband’s treatment, Cuomo took “potentized quinine” a synthetic derivative of chloroquine according to CNN Health, and something she called a “natural antibiotic.”

McEnany called Cuomo out for actually taking a “less safe version.”

McEnany in Beast Mode

At a White House press briefing Wednesday, McEnany addressed a question regarding the use of hydroxychloroquine and attempted to set the record straight on criticisms, particularly from Cuomo.

“You had Chris Cuomo saying the president knows that hydroxychloroquine is not supported by science, he knows it has been flagged by his own people and he’s using it,” McEnany railed.

“Cuomo mocked the president for this,” she continued. “It turns out that Chris Cuomo took a less safe version of it called quinine, which the FDA removed from the market in 2006 because it had serious side effects, including death. So really interesting to have that criticism of the president.”

That’s when she moved in for the kill, suggesting Cuomo speak to his brother Andrew, governor of New York, who had several on-the-record positive statements about hydroxychloroquine.

Cuomo’s Own Hoax

This is an incredibly rewarding takedown by McEnany, especially in context with little Fredo’s ‘fake’ stunt he and CNN pulled showing him emerging from his basement quarantine following a coronavirus diagnosis.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted Cuomo for the fake news story.

“CNN, shameless cheese balls that they are celebrated by filming Cuomo rising like a buff cable news Lazarus from the grave and back into ordinary life,” Carlson mocked.

Nobody should take this man seriously – whether it involves “cheesy” skits like this or what he considers fair criticism of the President.

President Trump Plays Video To Reporters Showing The Media Downplaying Coronavirus

President Trump turned the tables on the media Monday, showing a video montage of numerous times that they downplayed his concerns over the coronavirus crisis.

The President, weary of hearing the media falsely accuse him of not taking the threat of the pandemic seriously, blindsided reporters with the video.

It was a masterful move. Trump at his best, stealing the narrative from biased reporters and pointing a spotlight on their lies and half-truths.

Media Put To Shame

The video featured several instances in which mainstream media outlets and anti-Trump reporters scoffed at both the severity of the virus and the President’s actions in trying to protect the American people.

And now, they pretend as if they knew all along how bad things were going to get, sanctimoniously pointing accusatory fingers at the President for having blood on his hands.

Well, Trump wasn’t having it this time. And reporters got a heavy dose of shame at the press conference.

Media Downplayed COVID-19

The Washington Post said the flu is “much bigger threat than coronavirus.”

The New York Times claimed that fear “spreads faster than the coronavirus itself.”

CNN declared that “racist assaults and ignorant attacks against Asians” were spreading faster than the pandemic.

But it was President Trump – allegedly – who didn’t take things seriously?

“None of these people cared about you,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson complained. “They didn’t care about protecting public health, or sharing accurate information. They cared about being virtuous.”

“They put their wokeness above your life as they always do.”

Tried to Spin

Journos at the press conference did their best to take the focus off their own failures, accusing the President of having a meltdown.

They honestly don’t stand a chance. Their lies, numerous as they are, are on record for everybody to see. Trump pointing out those lies is not a meltdown – it’s the only way to get the truth out.

While the media was doing nothing other than covering impeachment for months, President Trump was setting up a coronavirus task force, ordering more testing and ventilators, restricting travel from countries known to be battling the virus, and declaring a national emergency.

On February 11th, Ron Klain, a top adviser to Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, said the administration’s actions were “far from doing nothing.”

Senator Lindsey Graham said it best, noting that “most Democrats and the media were more worried about impeaching President [Trump]
than coronavirus.”

Glad to see they finally woke up. But the adults in the room were already handling the crisis, limiting lives lost and protecting the American people.

Tulsi Gabbard Announces $50M Lawsuit Against Hillary Clinton

Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is suing Hillary Clinton on charges of defamation. Last October Clinton referred to Gabbard as a “Russian asset” during an interview.

Aan excerpt from the lawsuit reads:

“Clinton lied about her perceived rival Tulsi Gabbard…She did so publicly, unambiguously, and with obvious malicious intent. Tulsi has been harmed by Clinton’s lies — and American democracy has suffered as well.”

The two have sparred publically over social media during Gabbard’s campaign. The day after Clinton’s interview remarks, Gabbard fired back on Facebook:

From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.

It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly.”
