Report: Trump Slashing Obama Holdovers From NSC, ‘Anonymous’ NYT Op-Ed Author

In what amounts to a long-overdue in-house cleaning, administration officials have confirmed that 70 positions at the National Security Council (NSC) held by Obama-era staffers are being cut.

Last week, U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman and his twin brother were sent packing after the former starred as a Democrat witness in the impeachment hoax.

Liberals were apoplectic over the notion that the President would dare reassign an individual who tried to sabotage American foreign policy through false claims of abuse of power surrounding a mundane phone call with the President of Ukraine.

They’ll be even further disappointed to hear he’s slashing more deep-staters.

“Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama,” the Washington Examiner reports.

‘Anonymous’ Resistance Leader Set to Get the Boot

Additionally, U.S. attorney and Trump lawyer, Joe diGenova told WMAL’s ‘Mornings on the Mall’ that the individual associated with a famed anonymous op-ed in the New York Times in 2018 was also set to be eliminated.

The cowardly ‘anonymous’ author, who claims they are a “senior official in the Trump administration,” suggested they were “part of the resistance” against the President since he took office.

The author followed up with what they claimed was a ‘tell-all book’ where they again declined to reveal their identity, though they promised readers they would hear from them “in my own name” before the 2020 election.

If diGenova is right and the author is fired, that prediction may indeed come true.

“The White House has identified and will soon part ways with the ‘anonymous’ official behind a recently released book and a ‘resistance’ focused editorial published in the New York Times,” the Daily Caller reports.

Cowards

First Lady Melania Trump slammed the author saying, “you are not protecting this country, you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions.”

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham also called the anonymous official a “coward.”

“Real authors reach out to their subjects to get things fact-checked – but this person is in hiding, making that very basic part of being a real writer impossible,” Grisham said.

Such harsh adjectives equally apply to Vindman and the other rogue NSC staffers.

Cleaning house of Obama holdovers is long, long overdue and anyone working in the administration who is not wholeheartedly supporting the President’s agenda needs to be removed.

Game over for the resistance.

Brad Pitt’s Anti-Trump Oscar Speech: 45 Seconds is ‘More Than the Senate Gave John Bolton’

Right on cue, Hollywood liberal Brad Pitt made his Oscar acceptance speech political last night when he bashed the U.S. Senate for not having John Bolton as a witness during the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

Pitt was accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” when the 56-year-old actor decided to make his speech overtly political.

Pitt Couldn’t Resist Letting His Left Flag Fly

“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said.

“I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing,” he added.

Pitt thanked Tarantino and also his co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the actors and directors who helped him throughout his successful career, including Geena Davis who co-starred with him in the 1991 film “Thelma & Louise.”

Pitt Had Been Working with Obama and Clinton Speechwriters on His Oscars Acceptance Speech

Vulture reported last week that Pitt had collaborated with former Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speech writers to help write his acceptance speeches this year.

This was recognized on Twitter again Sunday night.

Some on social media also had fun with Pitt’s remarks.

“Imagine telling someone in 2005 that Brad Pitt would shout out John Bolton during his Oscar speech,” tweeted Republican activist Matt Gorman.

Conservative talk host Larry Elder tweeted, “Brad Pitt, winner of Best Supporting Actor, and made a crack about John Bolton not testifying before the Senate during the Trump impeachment trial. Apparently, Pitt is unaware that Bolton has REFUSED to testify without a subpoena.”

Typical Hollywood Liberal Garbage

Believe it or not, this was Pitt’s first Oscar win for acting and yet he couldn’t resist going straight to politics with his John Bolton line. Many in Hollywood can’t understand why so many Americans tune out the pomposity and arrogance of activist celebrities, and yet Pitt lived up to that stereotype perfectly on Sunday night.

Brad Pitt wonders who John Bolton didn’t testify during the impeachment trial. We wonder how many Americans changed the channel when he started his childish rant?

‘Disgraceful’: Steve Scalise Slams Pelosi for Ripping Up Trump’s Speech

House Republican Whip Steve Scalise blasted Speaker Nancy Pelosi for ripping up President Trump’s speech after his address was over on Tuesday night, calling her actions “disgraceful.”

“I thought it was disgraceful. It’s unbecoming of a speaker,” Scalise told CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett in an interview for “The Takeout” podcast. “Frankly, Speaker Pelosi should apologize as well, because it’s not the image she should want to portray as the speaker of the House.”

Did Pelosi’s Stunt Disrespect the President’s Guests?

When Garrett mentioned to Scalise that Pelosi said she was justified in ripping the speech because she believed it was a “manifesto of mistruths,” Scalise wondered if her stunt actually represented Democrats disrespecting White House guests present at the speech, including a former Tuskegee airman and a soldier who was reunited with his family.

“I think she at a minimum owes a deep apology to the president and the country,” Scalise said.

Scalise said he believes Trump will be reelected by a wide margin in the Electoral College, and that the President could also win the popular vote in 2020, after losing that vote by 3 million votes in 2016.

Scalise Says Trump Will be Re-Elected

“The popular vote’s a different situation, but look, it’s possible,” Scalise said, before downplaying the importance of the popular vote. “Ultimately, it’s like the Super Bowl. You don’t get the trophy for getting more yards than the other team. You get the trophy for getting more points.”

Scalise also voiced his dissatisfaction with Republican senators Lisa Murkowski and Lamar Alexander who voted to acquit President Trump during his impeachment trial, but also believed the president’s behavior had been “inappropriate.” Scalise insisted that Mr. Trump had done nothing inappropriate or wrong when he asked Ukraine’s president to investigate a political rival.

“The president’s done his job,” Scalise said.

On Wednesday, Scalise tweeted in support of Republican Congresswoamn Kay Granger’s resolution to condemn Pelosi’s actions.

“Ripping up the President’s official State of the Union speech with the nation watching is beneath the dignity of the House of Representatives,” Scalise tweeted. “JUST NOW → @RepKayGranger introduced a resolution to condemn Nancy Pelosi’s disgraceful behavior.”

“She must be held accountable,” he added.

Gowdy: “If I Were Donald Trump, I’d Think the FBI Were Out to Get Me Too”

In an interview with Fox News, former South Carolina Representative Trey Gowdy said that if he were the President, he would think the FBI was out to get him too.

“They Suspected Donald Trump of Impropriety”

Gowdy was interviewed by Martha MacCallum on her show on Fox News on Thursday, where they assessed a post-acquittal speech by the President in which he went after James Comey, the former FBI director.

“Had I not fired James Comey, who was a disaster, by the way, it’s possible I wouldn’t even be standing here right now. We caught him in the act,” the President said. “They were trying to overthrow the government of the United States, a duly elected President! If I didn’t fire James Comey, we would have never found this stuff. When I fired that sleazebag, all Hell broke out.”

MacCallum described these as “very strong words,” to which Gowdy agreed.

“Peter Strzok, the lead case agent on this Russia probe, was talking about impeaching Donald Trump before Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler were. Let that sink in,” Gowdy said. “The lead agent for the FBI mentioned impeaching Trump before Schiff and Nadler did. Then the FBI conducts this ‘defensive briefing,’ which is really just an interview, because they suspected Donald Trump of impropriety.”

“You have James Comey who thinks impeachment is too good for him. You have John Brennan that thinks he should be in the dust pan of history. You have Andy McCabe, who after Comey was fired, launched another investigation into Trump. Martha, if I were Donald Trump, I would think the FBI was out to get me, too,” Gowdy argued.

RELATED: Trey Gowdy: “Both Sides are Wrong” in Whistleblower Fight

“Terrible Four Years for the World’s Premier Law Enforcement Agency”

MacCallum noted that President Trump’s firing of Comey was a huge story back when it happened, but put forward that it was ultimately the move that saved the President, as it removed “the person at the top who created a culture that was after him,” and who sought after “a dossier that was paid for by Clinton and DNC.”

Gowdy agreed, but set to “correct the President’s narrative” slightly.

“He replaced Comey with McCabe. That is hardly moving up the draft board. It was only when Chris Wray came in that I think you had a dispassionate, objective, law enforcement centered person. McCabe was no better than Comey,” Gowdy said.

MacCallum asked Gowdy whether he thought that the culture changed at all at the FBI since these snakes were removed from their positions. ”

I hope so, Martha, and I say that because I don’t know,” Gowdy replied. “We’re not going to make it as a country if we don’t have confidence in the FBI… It’s been a terrible four years for the world’s premier law enforcement agency.”

The FBI Swamp Needs to be Drained!

Gowdy is right. If the country doesn’t have confidence in the people who enforce its laws, how can they trust the system to enforce those laws fairly? Americans expect the rule of law to be applied to everyone equally – they don’t want to live in a nation where the deep state can go after its enemies for no reason at all, and let its friends get away with serious crimes scot free.

President Trump was elected to drain the swamp, and if he wants to get re-elected, he has to continue to do so!

Actor James Woods is Back on Twitter, Immediately Wrecks AOC, Hillary, and Mitt Romney

Conservative actor James Woods, after a nearly 10-month hiatus, is back on Twitter, and he immediately went off on a host of liberal politicians as only he can.

Woods, best known for his roles in the films Once Upon a Time in America and Casino, made his triumphant return to the social media platform by making a mockery of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Sharing a video of the New York socialist arguing before Congress that the common phrase ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ is a literal impossibility, Woods announced he was back.

“I’ve tried so hard this past year to live without the wealth of knowledge available on Twitter, but this kind of blazing insight can be found nowhere else, so… I’m back!” he explained.

Woods added the hashtag “#AOCStillAMoron.”

Hillary, Warren, and Mitt Too

While most mere mortals would have rested on their laurels (Wait, laurels? Somebody ask AOC if it’s literally possible to sleep on shrubs), Woods fired off a number of other gems to entertain the masses.

Sharing a report that several women of color had abandoned presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren’s campaign, Woods wrote: “Not enough room in the Warren TeePee for women of color? Not a surprise, considering what a liar and hypocrite she has been since, well, forever…”

Woods shared a post by Hillary Clinton regarding the impeachment witch hunt of President Trump and needled her over her epic election loss.

“You, of course, will never be impeached,” he surmised. “One up side to being the most famous loser in American history.”

Even Senator Mitt Romney, who recently was the only Republican to vote in favor of convicting President Trump during the impeachment trial, was unable to escape Woods’ wrath.

“This is the guy who passes a silent stinker in the elevator and then proceeds to lecture everybody about intestinal management,” he said of Romney. “You’ll never come back from this one, Mittens. Even your magic pants won’t save you.”

Let’s Keep Him on Twitter

Woods is a favorite of conservatives on Twitter because he is the rare Republican residing in the liberal cesspool of Hollywood and he rarely, rarely holds back on his feelings.

He has often tried baiting Hillary into making another run against Trump in 2020 because he knows she’d be a three-time Presidential loser.

Clinton, it has been reported, would not refuse the role of vice president should it be offered.

Woods’ history of completely annihilating liberals on social media is the stuff of legend.

Here are some examples:

That time he hammered Michelle Obama for claiming women somehow let Trump become President.

His response to Obama claiming the toughest part about being First Lady was enduring the racism.

As well as some brutal mockery of Maxine Waters.

Woods was suspended from Twitter in April under the guise of “targetted harassment,” an oft-used excuse by the social media platform to censor conservatives.

In May, he announced that he was fed up with repeated attempts to censor his comments and said he had no intention of using Twitter again.

We’re glad he changed his mind. Stick around for a while, eh Mr. Woods? Things are just starting to get interesting as the election draws near.

Nancy Pelosi Accuses Trump of Being ‘Sedated’ During State of the Union

In a long and rambling explanation of her actions during the State of the Union address, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused President Trump of being drugged ahead of the speech.

The insinuation might go down in the irony hall of fame.

Pelosi spoke to reporters about the exchange at the beginning of Trump’s speech, when he handed she and Vice President Mike Pence a copy of his remarks and appeared to either snub, or not see, an extended hand from the leader of the impeachment movement.

“It was also an act of kindness,” Pelosi claimed of the gesture, “because he looked to me like he was a little sedated.”

She added, “He looked that way last year too.”

RELATED: Rep. Mike Johnson Offers Nancy Pelosi Some Fancy Souvenir Acquittal Pens

Seriously, Nancy?

There’s a whole lot of stupid to unpack in that very short video clip.

First off, why did she make an uncontrollable shaking hands gesture to indicate somebody is sedated? That’s more indicative of her obvious fidgety nature.

Second, many observers of Nancy’s actions during the State of the Union address could have easily walked away with the impression that it was she, not the President of the United States, who was on something.

The constant erratic facial contortions were incredibly distracting to those watching the speech. As was the mumbling to herself. Not to mention the uncontrolled rage at the conclusion.

The New York Post’s Michael Goodwin describes Pelosi’s final act of tearing up the printed remarks: “In one sense, Pelosi’s distress is understandable. Trump’s address was long because he had a long list of big accomplishments to cite, and every Republican standing ovation had to drive her closer to the edge. She often seemed to be talking to herself, and finally snapped.”

Those seem like the actions of somebody either under the influence of something unnatural, or an anti-American under the rage-inducing influence of the President’s pro-America agenda.

Disgraceful Accusation

It’s not the first time a Democrat has accused the President of the United States of being on drugs, and it won’t be the last. Anything to make that 25th Amendment argument, eh libs?

Josh Earnest, former White House press secretary to Barack Obama, once accused then-candidate Trump of having “snorted his way through” the debates.

To be fair, Trump had suggested both he and Hillary Clinton submit to a drug test during the campaign, “like athletes.”

Comedian Tom Arnold, like Pelosi an unhinged victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome, baselessly claimed the President used to ‘snort Adderall’ on the set of The Apprentice.

Pelosi’s daughter appeared on Fox News and claimed her mother was not insinuating “he was drugged or something,” but rather, he “had a cold.”

Good to know Pelosi has handed down the perpetual liar genes.

Republicans Call for Romney to be Removed from GOP

Republicans across the board are calling for Sen. Mitt Romney to be kicked out of the GOP for voting to convict President Trump on Wednesday.

“Forever Bitter That He Will Never be POTUS”

Senator Romney voted to convict President Trump of an abuse of power in his office. Romney said that not voting to convict the President would “expose my character to history’s rebuke,” adding that he will “tell my children and their children that I did my duty to the best of my ability, believing that my country expected it of me.”

The President’s oldest son Donald Trump Jr. said on Twitter that Romney was “forever bitter that he will never be POTUS,” and is now “officially a member of the resistance & should be expelled from the GOP.” Andrew Surabian, a former White House advisor agreed, and added “#ExpelMitt.”

Representative Lee Zeldin of New York tweeted that Romney “absolutely despises that Donald Trump was elected POTUS & he was not,” and that the senator has a “sore loser mentality.”

RELATED: Ex-Spokesman For Romney Campaign Says Trump Guilty Vote Was ‘Motivated By Bitterness And Jealousy’

Ronna McDaniel, the GOP Chairwoman, and Romney’s niece, slammed him on Twitter, saying that it wasn’t “the first time I have disagreed with Mitt, and I imagine it will not be the last. The bottom line is President Trump did nothing wrong, and the Republican Party is more united than ever behind him.”

Romney Must Go!

In Utah, a bill designed to allow citizens to recall sitting senators was already going through the legislature when Romney decided to vote for impeachment. HB217 was filed by Utah Rep. Tim Quinn – if 25% of active Utah voters signed a petition to recall a senator, then a recall question would be placed on the next ballot.

“Obviously I didn’t open this bill file after he made some of that news with impeachment, it would have never been drafted this quickly,” Quinn told The Deseret News. “So I can understand why people might think that, but if they understood the legislative process, this was well before that.”

RELATED: Laura Ingraham to Mitt Romney: If I Have to Move to Utah to Beat You I Will

It picked up a huge amount of traction from lawmakers and the public after Romney’s vote. Quinn said he received over 100 phone calls and 250 emails that were “100% positive to the bill.”

If I were living in Utah, I would be picking up the phone to Quinn or drafting an email right this minute – in my opinion, Romney’s removal can’t happen soon enough! Maybe when he’s booted out of office he might consider the wishes of the American people for once!

Trump Uses Profanity to Describe Russia Probe

On Thursday, President Trump gave his first post-impeachment trial remarks and did not hesitate to go after his political enemies, where things got a little salty at moments.

“We’ve all been through a lot together. It’s been a very unfair situation,” Trump said in an address from the White House’s East Room.

Trump on Impeachment

“We’ve been going through this now for three years. It was evil, it was corrupt, it was dirty cops, it was leakers. It was a disgrace. Had I not fired James Comey, who was a disaster, by the way, it’s possible I wouldn’t even be standing here right now,” he continued before pivoting briefly to his accomplishments.

RELATED: Adam Schiff Claims ‘I Don’t Know Who the Whistleblower Is’

“We’ve done more than any president, any administration, you look at all of the things we’ve done,” he added.

Trump went on to say that he believes the stock market would have crashed if had he not become president.

“That’s all our credit. One of the reasons it’s going up … and one of the reasons the stock market has gone up so much in the last few days is people think we’re doing so well, they liked the State of the Union speech,” Trump said.

The president then told everyone he wasn’t giving a speech, per se.

‘We first went through Russia, Russia, Russia. It was all bull****’

“This is really not a news conference, it’s not a speech, it’s not anything, it’s just we’re sort of — it’s a celebration because we have something that just worked out. It worked out. We went through hell unfairly. Did nothing wrong. Did nothing wrong,” Trump said, holding up a copy of the Washington Post and its headline that read, “Trump acquitted.”

“We first went through Russia, Russia, Russia. It was all bull****,” Trump continued.

“Little did we know we were running against some very, very bad and evil people with fake dossiers, with all of these horrible, dirty cops that took these dossiers and did bad things,” he said. “They knew all about it.”

Taking Aim at Schiff and Pelosi

Trump did not hesitate to take direct aim at Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.

“They made up facts. A corrupt politician named Adam Schiff made up my statement to the Ukrainian president,” he said about Schiff’s parody of Trump’s phone call to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Adam Schiff is a vicious, horrible person. Nancy Pelosi is a horrible person, and she wanted to impeach a long time ago when she said, ‘I pray for the president.’ She doesn’t pray. She may pray but she prays for the opposite. But I doubt she prays at all,” Trump concluded. “These are vicious people.”
