What Ginsberg Said Four Years Ago About Filling A SCOTUS Vacancy During An Election Year

While liberals continue to circulate and praise the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s “fervent wish” that her seat isn’t filled until after the November election, they have not been as eager to share what she thought about filling vacancies to the nation’s highest court before the 2016 presidential election.

When the GOP blocked former President Obama’s pick of Merrick Garland to fill the late Antonin Scalia’s seat through Republican-controlled Senate, Ginsburg instructed them to proceed with reviewing the nomination.

Most Democrats Believed The 2016 SCOTUS Vacancy Should Have Been Filled Before The Election

“That’s their job,” Ginsburg said to The New York Times. “There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year.”

Then-President Barack Obama said basically the same thing in 2016.

“When there is a vacancy on the Supreme Court, the president is to nominate someone, the Senate is to consider that nomination'” Obama said. “There’s no unwritten law that says that it can only be done on off-years.” That’s not in the Constitution text.”

Biden Said In 2016 That Not Appointing A SCOTUS Justice Could Result In A ‘Constitutional Crisis’

Not surprisingly, 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden is now saying filling Ginsburg’s vacant SCOTUS seat should wait until after the election, though in 2016, the then-vice president believed that blocking Garland might result in a “constitutional crisis.”

Hillary Clinton also believes the nomination process should wait – but that’s not what she necessarily thought about Garland’s appointment four years ago.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said before the 2016 election, “Every day that goes by without a ninth justice is another day the American people’s business is not getting done.”

The Republican National Committee shared a video on Sunday with examples of what Democratic leaders were saying in 2016 about filling a seat during an election year.

Cruz Agrees With Biden (Four Years Ago) – Failure To Nominate A Justice Could Lead To A ‘Constitutional Crisis’

Sen. Ted Cruz – similar to Democrats in 2016 – worries that an eight-member court hading into the election could pose a “constitutional crisis.”

“Democrats and Joe Biden have made clear they intend to challenge this election,” Cruz said Friday on Fox News “Hannity.”

“They intend to fight the legitimacy of the election,” he said. “As you know, Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden ‘under no circumstances should you concede, you should challenge this election.’”

RELATED: Trump Fires Back After Obama Says He Shouldn’t Fill SCOTUS Vacancy

“And we cannot have Election Day come and go with a 4-4 Court,” Cruz told Sean Hannity.

“A 4-4 Court that is equally divided cannot decide anything,” the senator continued. “And I think we risk a constitutional crisis if we do not have a nine-justice Supreme Court, particularly when there is such a risk of … a contested election.”

Minnesota Democrat Rep. Refuses To Defend Ilhan Omar: ‘She Doesn’t Belong In Our Party’

Minnesota Democrat Rep. Collin Peterson took a swipe at Congresswoman Ilhan Omar saying “she doesn’t belong in our party.”

Peterson was addressing past comments in which Omar dismissed the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something.”

He had previously come to her defense.

In an April interview, Peterson had explained where Omar might have been coming from.

“I think she was trying to say that some people in her community feel like they’re being targeted,” he said.

When confronted more recently, the Minnesota Democrat walked back his comments.

Ilhan Omar ‘Doesn’t Belong In Our Party’

In a video obtained by the New York Post, Peterson is questioned by a tracker for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

“Do you have any comment as to why you defended Ilhan Omar?” they ask.

Peterson responds by saying the Minnesota Squad member doesn’t belong with her Democrat colleagues.

“I don’t defend her,” he said. “She doesn’t belong in our party.”

Contrary to the above tweet, it is plainly obvious what prompted the broadside.

Did Collin Peterson suddenly develop the moral courage to denounce the radical Omar?

No, of course not.

He’s trying to save his skin. Peterson, a 16-term incumbent, is in a district that President Trump won by over 30 points in 2016.

He’s currently in a dog fight with Republican Michelle Fischbach to retain his seat. Last month, a poll showed Fischbach with a 10-point lead.

RELATED: Ilhan Omar Claims Violent Riots Are Simply An ‘Uprising’ Against American Oppression

Is It Peterson or Omar Who Doesn’t Belong?

The Democrats have gone so far astray, playing footsie with radical socialists, that it’s difficult to say whether it is Omar or Peterson who doesn’t belong in the party.

Peterson, who opposed the impeachment of President Trump and is considered a ‘pro-life Democrat,’ is practically a dinosaur.

Presidential nominee and presumable party standard-bearer Joe Biden aligns himself more with Omar.

Omar believes Biden “is going to be responsive to the policy positions we are advocating for.”

Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, is practically a Senate member of the Squad, ranking as the most liberal Senator of 2019.

In reality, it may be Peterson who is on the outside looking in at the most radical, pro-socialist, anti-American version of a party in the history of the United States.

Chris Rock Says Democrats ‘Let The Pandemic Come In’ While They Were Obsessed With Impeachment

Comedian Chris Rock said that Democrats are responsible for the spread of COVID-19 because party leaders “let the pandemic come in” while they were busy pushing to impeach President Donald Trump.

Rock told The New York Times that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in particular was to blame.

Rock Said Democrats ‘Let The Pandemic Come In’

“It was totally up to Pelosi and the Democrats,” Rock said “Their thing was, ‘We’re going to get him impeached,’ which was never going to happen.”

“You let the pandemic come in,” he added. “Yes, we can blame Trump, but he’s really the 5-year-old.”

Democrat leaders did not show much interest in taking the coronavirus pandemic seriously during the pandemic’s early months. When concerns were being raised about COVID-19 in January, congressional Democrats were busy with staged photo-ops with the articles of impeachment.

In early February, as pandemic concerns were taking shape, Speaker Pelosi infamously tore up a copy of President Trump’s State of the Union address on live television.

Rock Compares Trump To Child Ruler In The Movie ‘The Last Emperor’

In that address, Trump promised that the White House “will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat.”

In his Times interview, Chris Rock, showing little respect for the President, compared him to a child ruler.

“Did you ever see that movie The Last Emperor, where like a 5-year-old is the emperor of China?” Rock said. “There’s a kid and he’s the king.”

“So I’m like, it’s all the Democrats’ fault,” Rock continued. “Because you knew that the emperor was 5 years old. And when the emperor’s 5 years old, they only lead in theory. There’s usually an adult who’s like, ‘OK, this is what we’re really going to do.’”

Rock also revealed that he didn’t believe Barack Obama’s presidency did much good for black Americans.

“Obama becoming the president, it’s progress for white people,” Rock said.

“It’s not progress for Black people,” he added.

The Things Not Said: What Do Democrats Have to Hide?

In the case of the Democrats, a kind of poetic justice was achieved last week when a virtual convention nominated a virtual candidate for what promises to be a virtual presidency.

COVID-19 made both major parties opt for political conventions that don’t put delegates and others at risk with large in-person gatherings, but for Democrats, lessening the risk of disease also meant lessening the risk of the public finding out that there is less than meets the eye to Joe Biden and his candidacy.

What was obvious from start to finish was that a pre-recorded, pre-scripted, pre-ordained infomercial gave Democrats the perfect opportunity to divert the attention of America away from their doddering candidate and their socialist policies into a fawning celebration of phony feel-good sloganeering and Trump hatred.

What Biden and Democrats Didn’t Say At the DNC

While the actual words spoken at the convention were for the most part snooze-worthy, what was left unsaid is like the proverbial nine-tenths of an iceberg lurking beneath the water. If and when the USS Biden crashes and sinks, it will be because of all those things Democrats don’t want to talk about, starting with the fact that 59% of voters expect Kamala Harris to finish out the four-year term of a presumptive President Biden, if not be the virtual president from the start.

Maybe that would be a good thing since so many people suspect Biden has cognitive issues, but it raises the specter of another word never heard at the Democratic convention, not even in the speech of leftist Sen. Bernie Sanders, and that is “socialism.”

That’s because most Americans do not support fundamentally transforming the American economy from its capitalist roots into a socialist “paradise” like Venezuela. Most Americans don’t, but Harris does — at least in part. She co-sponsored Sanders’ single-payer “Medicare for All” plan that would cost $32 trillion before she realized it was a political millstone around her neck.

She also famously pledged “to invest $100 billion of federal money into housing assistance for black families as part of an effort to close the racial wealth gap in the United States.” Wait! Isn’t that illegal discrimination and a blatant violation of equal protection under the law? Yes, it is.

Which brings us to another word not heard much if at all during the Democratic convention — the United States Constitution. Of course, you can’t talk about the Constitution when you intend to violate the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms. You can’t talk about the Constitution when you intend to silence the speech of conservatives in a blatant power grab.

You can’t talk about the Constitution when you oppose the Electoral College and when you want to force nuns to subsidize birth control and abortion.

It’s also hard to talk about the Constitution and its promises to “insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty” when you are allowing mob rule in major cities. I’m not sure how the Democrats can sweep this under  the rug, but let’s remember that as a party they oppose the use of force by police, Homeland Security or the National Guard to protect our people, our homes and our businesses.

RELATED: Kamala Harris Acceptance Speech Shows Duplicated Videos of Supporters

And because Democrats know that the vast majority of Americans have an uncanny interest in the safety of themselves and their families, this convention never got around to a discussion of the anarchy in Portland, Seattle and elsewhere.

Barack Obama Takes the Gloves Off

There was plenty of talk about the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic impact of a massive lockdown, with speaker after speaker blaming President Trump for the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans. Former President Obama, taking the gloves off, was representative of the general theme:

“Donald Trump hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t. And the consequences of that failure are severe: 170,000 Americans dead. Millions of jobs gone. Our worst impulses unleashed, our proud reputation around the world badly diminished, and our democratic institutions threatened like never before.”

This was a shameless politicization of a national emergency — and a national tragedy — and again what mattered more than what was said was all that was left unsaid. Did anyone hear a Democrat politician blame China for unleashing the virus on not just the United States but the entire world?

In complaining that Trump was too slow to react to the virus, did any Democrat mention that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Biden were all critical of Trump’s decision to shut down air traffic from China last winter? Did any of them have the courage to talk about how China used the virus as a political and economic weapon against the United States?

For that matter, did anyone mention how Biden had dismissed the threat of China to the United States back in May 2019 when he said this while campaigning in Iowa City: “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man. I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us.”

Really? This is the man to whom Democrats want to entrust not just our economy but our national security?

Joe Biden’s Record on China

Of course, Biden has good reason not to mention China because when you think about Biden and China, you have to talk about Hunter Biden as well — the former vice president’s son who accompanied his dad to China on Air Force Two and emerged with a $1.5 billion investment deal.

And the last thing you want to talk about if you are Joe Biden is Hunter Biden — although it can’t exactly be avoided, can it? Hunter even got a moment on stage Thursday night when he and his sister, Ashley, introduced their dad. Good for him, but that’s not the last you will hear of Hunter, even if Democrats hope it is.

You can bet that Trump will talk about Hunter Biden when he shares the stage with Joe Biden during the presidential debates, and not just because of China. Remember Ukraine? Apparently, the Democrats have forgotten all about it.

You would think that when you are running against only the third president to be impeached, you would find some way to embarrass him by talking about it. But talking about impeachment means talking about Ukraine, and talking about Ukraine means talking about Burisma Holdings, and talking about Burisma (the corrupt Ukrainian energy company) means talking about (yep!) Hunter Biden, who wound up with a lucrative spot on the company’s board of directors despite having no knowledge of Ukraine or energy.

It ultimately would mean talking about how Joe Biden was in charge of Obama’s foreign policy in both China and Ukraine, and how Biden extorted the president of Ukraine into firing the prosecutor who was investigating both Burisma and the younger Biden.

So, yeah, the less said about Ukraine, the better.

But when you come right down to it, Democrats didn’t want to talk about anything of substance during their four-day coronation. Green New Deal? Better not tell voters you want to take away their SUVs, raise their taxes and shut down 10 million jobs.

Foreign policy? Besides liking China and loving Iran, what does Biden have to talk about? If he talks about the Mideast, he has to acknowledge that Trump’s hard-line support for Israel and opposition to Iran are paying huge dividends in the form of a new peace deal that could be the first of many.

RELATED: Van Jones Lets Slip: ‘As Long As Biden Didn’t Embarrass Himself, We Were Going To Come Out Here And Praise It’

And there is one other issue that may be the most glaring omission in the list of things not acknowledged: the #MeToo movement that empowered women to come forward and speak out against their alleged abusers.

You would think with a woman selected to be Biden’s running mate, he would want to emphasize how he is a longtime supporter of women’s rights, including the right to be safe from abuse. But that is a “touchy” issue — literally.

It’s not any secret that Joe Biden has a history of unwanted touching. He apologized for it, sort of, after a former Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor in Nevada accused him of inappropriate intimacy.

“So I invaded your space. I’m sorry this happened,” he told various unnamed women while appearing on “The View” back in April 2019. “But I’m not sorry in the sense I think I did anything that was intentionally wrong or did anything inappropriate.”

That is essential Biden. He never quite gets around to admitting anything. Did he or did he not, for instance, intentionally plagiarize Neil Kinnock when he ran for president back in 1988? I think the answer we got from Biden then should perhaps be reserved as his epitaph: “I’ve done some dumb things, and I’ll do dumb things again.”

Maybe the dumbest thing Biden ever did was win the nomination this time around, because nothing will be hidden from view in the next 71 days. Joe Biden and the far-left agenda he now represents will be an open book.

Starting with the GOP convention tonight, you can expect to hear the words China, Ukraine, Mideast and Hunter repeatedly. If the Democrats think they have this thing won, they had better come out from under their cone of silence and look at the iceberg up ahead.

When Anti-Trump Neil Cavuto Tried To Use Democrat Talking Points Jim Jordan Wasn’t Having It

Fox News host Neil Cavuto and Republican Congressman Jim Jordan had an exchange on Friday that revealed how some members of the media seem to take Democrat talking points to heart more than they should.

And that member of the media in this case would be the anti-Trump Cavuto.

Cavuto Asks Jordan About Trump And USPS

Cavuto asked Jordan, “What did you make of what the Postmaster General was saying on the whole mail-in ballot issue. He says ‘Because I think the American public should be able to vote by mail.’ He says ‘we’ll deploy processes and procedures that advance any election mail, in some cases first class mail.”

“Do you think that adequately addresses the concerns some Democrats had and many in your own party, that he was sent there by the president to make that next to impossible?” Cavuto questioned.

RELATED: Al Gore: Trump’s Overhaul Of USPS Is The President “Putting His Knee On The Neck Of American Democracy”

Jordan replied, “Well the real concern is when you go with live ballots sent out to everyone as some states are doing that haven’t done this before. You need no better example than the sponsor of today’s legislation. The Chairwoman of the Oversight Committee, Carolyn Maloney, her election was on June 23rd but it took six weeks to determine who the winner was.”

“So that’s the concern the president has,” Jordan continued. “That’s the concern I have. That’s the concern I think lots of Americans have.”

“This is not about the postal service,” Jordan added. “This is about politics.”

Cavuto and Jordan further discussed the mail-in ballot issue, but Cavuto kept circling around and pressing the GOP congressman on the same Democratic talking point – that President Trump was somehow trying to sabotage the election by manipulating the postal service.

Cavuto Asks Again

Cavuto said, “Nevertheless Congressman, the president did say earlier this week that he opposed election aid for states and an emergency bailout for the postal service, citing among other things that it might restrict many Americans of their ability to vote by mail. but he also said that voting by mail, has repeatedly made the claim that mail-in ballots can lead to widespread fraud.”

“So do you believe this is as much about his trying to stymie the process than enhance it?”

“No, I think this is the Democrats playing politics,” Jordan replied, repeating himself, since apparently Cavuto didn’t take the hint the first time.

Jordan continued, “Neil, ask yourself this question and your viewers: Why are we voting on the bill today but not having the hearing on the legislation and hearing from the postmaster general until Monday? Normally it’s the other way around. Normally you want to get all the information from the person in charge, the Postmaster General.”

Jordan then went down the list of empty Democratic attacks on President Trump.

“First it was the Russia investigation,” Jordan said. “The first big committee hearing, this Congress? Michael Cohen, then he came in and lied seven times. Then it was the fake Ukraine impeachment.”

“Now this is just the latest effort of the Democrats to go after the president,” Jordan finished.

Cavuto Asks A Third Time

But Cavuto wasn’t finished.

The Fox news anchor pressed forward, “I understand where you’re coming from Congressman, but if you’re the President of the United States and you’ve long expressed reservations about an overwhelmed system dealing with what could be 100 million mail-in ballots. Do you think he would welcome cutting financing for the post office to make that next to impossible?”

“Of course not,” Jordan replied.

Cavuto added, “That’s what Democrats are charging. Is that not odd to you? Is it not odd?”

“It’s not true,” Jordan shot back. “No, it’s like so many things the Democrats have said. It’s not true.”

“I’ll tell you what is a concern,” Jordan said. “Do you really think if you mailed a ballot to every single voter 150 million ballots, do you really think we’d know the outcome and have all those ballots counted on election night? ”

And A Fourth Time…

But Cavuto STILL wasn’t done. So he rephrased the question.

To ask it a fourth time.

“No, I understand and maybe I wasn’t clear on my question, Congressman,” Cavuto said. “But the timing of cutting aid would actually fit in with that notion that it’s going to overwhelm the system, that we will, ahead of time, make things more difficult. That’s what Democrats are going to argue because of the coincidental timing.”

RELATED: Chris Wallace Suggests Trump May Have A Point About Mail-In Voting Fraud

Jordan was having none of it.

“But we aren’t cutting aid,” Jordan said. “The CARES Act that we passed clearly back in March, the first big stimulus to deal with the coronavirus situation had a $10 billion line of credit. They got $14 billion they’re sitting on and they are, as I said earlier, actually bringing in more money now than they were at this point last year.”

“So it’s just not based in reality, the Democrats’ claims,” Jordan finished.

Why Was Cavuto So Hung Up On This?

Cavuto’s question to Jordan was a fair one, even if the charge isn’t true, because it is in the news and part of our current national discussion.

But to ask the same question four times? Because maybe Cavuto didn’t like the answers he was getting?

And is it a journalist’s job to get the right answers – the truth – or only the kind of answers he or she likes?

Neil Cavuto should strive to be more fair and balanced.

Adam Schiff Says ‘No Racist Appeal’ Or ‘Political Dirty Trick Beyond The Pale’ For Trump

House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff told MSNBC on Wednesday that President Donald Trump would stoop to any level to win the election, saying there was “no tactic beneath him, no bigotry too great, no racist appeal too much, no political dirty trick beyond the pale.”

Guest-host Ali Velshi said to Schiff, “A lot of people just don’t like Donald Trump. They forget the impeachment was about a dirty election trick. A dirty election trick is something you and I talked about I think a week ago with the intelligence that you have had that you like Americans to find out about, but you can’t right now.”

Schiff: We have ‘a president of the United States who will break any law, rule, abuse of power of his office, who will cheat…’

“This is another one,” Ali Velshi said. “If he’s helping Kanye West to run with the aim of defeating Joe Biden, falls into the same basket.”

Schiff replied, “Well, it does. It falls into the basket of a president of the United States who will break any law, rule, abuse of power of his office, who will cheat, and no strategy is beneath him.”

“You know, this idea of recruiting a third party candidate that you hope will siphon votes from your opponent, it is an old ploy, but it is among the dirtiest of the dirty tricks,” Schiff said. “You never wanted to be associated with it. But here it is all out in the open.”

Schiff accuses Trump of racism: ‘It is not even a dog-whistle anymore. It is a whistle that everybody can hear’

“The president’s son-in-law dispatched to meet with Kanye,” Schiff continued. “They’re not even hiding it.”

The Democrat added, “You know, Barbara Boxer, who was just wonderful on your show, talked about the dog-whistle in terms of the suburban households. It is not even a dog-whistle anymore. It is a whistle that everybody can hear.”

Schiff claims ‘Republicans in the Congress won’t say a word’ about Trump supposedly destroying the Republican Party

Schiff went on, “This is where the president has descended to low, no tactic beneath him, no bigotry too great, no racist appeal too much, no political dirty trick beyond the pale. And the terrible thing is the Republicans in the Congress won’t say a word.”

“They are watching their party destroyed,” he said. “They’re watching the ethics of the party leader just tear their party asunder, and they don’t have the guts to do anything or say anything about it.”

“That’s what enables this,” Schiff insisted.

Kamala Harris Is The Biggest Gift Biden Could Have Given To Trump

Sen. Kamala Harris used to be a Joe Biden critic, and now, willing to run on his ticket all for her own ambitions and also knowing that she is ONLY being picked because she is a black female.

On Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden chose Harris as his running mate for the 2020 Democratic ticket. With all the attacks she laid on him during the primary, he looked past that and chose her, eh?

Democratic Party politicians are the lowest of the low who have no morals or principles – and if they do, they are willing to trade on them in a heartbeat.

As a Trump supporter, I could not be happier about this pick. She has a horrible record. Not to mention that Biden is going to win California no matter what.

Trump-Pence will win in a landslide.

WEIRD AND INTERESTING CHOICE

Biden choosing Harris is an interesting choice since. She couldn’t even finish the Democratic race for the nomination.

This woman allegedly has so much baggage. I don’t live in California and know a lot about her. She was Willy Brown’s alleged mistress, so Democrats can’t say anything about Trump’s supposed womanizing any longer. They won’t dare find another woman to use.

Also, as California Attorney General, she stomped hard on Blacks and also deliberately withheld evidence that might have freed a man from prison. Weird indeed.

I’m not seeing Rust Belt swing states swinging behind Kamala-as-President. And, if they think this is going to guarantee massive Black voter turnout, they are sniffing [pardon the pun] glue.

ON THE OTHER HAND, TRUMP’S A SHOE-IN

I feel our country dodged a bullet when then-candidate Donald J. Trump was elected. I wanted to break into St. Mary’s Church, downtown, and ring the bells in the middle of the night, except I would not want to damage the church by breaking in.

Disregard personality and you have a courageous fighter who has a backbone, tenacity and keeps marching onward helping our country become stronger, more stable (less dependent on foreign ties), with more manufacturing work right back here in River City.

It is disgusting that our politicians and American corporations have allowed thousands, if not millions, of our jobs to go to Communist China. I cannot think of a single other politician who could have plowed onward while constantly being shot with hurtful accusations of racism, sexism, impeachment, hatred, and threats of all kinds. Trump worked for much better trade deals with Mexico, Canada, and China.

He pulled us out of WHO, which seems to be a fraudulent self-serving organization.. He has insisted our immigration laws be enforced, which, by the way, will actually decrease suffering and separations. Just lately he fired the CEO of the Tennessee Valley Authority for trying to fire American IT workers and outsource those jobs. The man was paid over eight million dollars, which is obscene and Trump limited that position to $500,000.

Trump is working for our own people and country. He knows nonsense and rip-offs when he sees them. He has a genuine love for this country as do thousands of immigrants who are thrilled to be here to freely build a prosperous life.

Trump is the only president in my 51 years that I have sent a Christmas card to thank him for working so hard.

DNC Source Says Biden VP Pick Is Down To Two

A source at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has told LifeZette that the Biden search for a running mate has been narrowed down to two people: Rep. Val Demings of Florida and Rep. Karen Bass of California.

Both are black females, thus keeping with the racial quotas now in place in the deeply racist Democratic Party. An announcement is set to be made within hours, if not tomorrow.

Given Florida is a battleground state, Demings is far and away the best political choice. She presents no worse than your typical Democrat lunatic, gained national attention during the impeachment hearings, and is not prone to public communist statements and enthusiasms. Bass is altogether different.

As chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, Bass’ demeanor has been odd of late. The CBC is a hard-left group and has been for some time. But Bass recently broke ranks and did not support the defund the police movement beloved by many members of the CBC. Did she do so to make herself more politically palatable to voters and/or Joe Biden?

But the real interesting move, as hinted above, has been her turnaround on communism and Cuba. As a student radical Bass took a trip to the country in 1970 and came back with nothing but hippy drippy commie praise for the brutal island dictatorship and American foe. She even referred to Castro as “commander in chief” of Florida’s Cuban exile community.

She also called the joyous event of Castro’s demise “a great loss to the Cuban people.” That stuff is, of course, barking loony. But such was her thrall to savage communism that it was her mission to spread the gospel of Marxist glory to this country. But now that power beckons she likely has not changed her views, just what she says in public. Thus, on NBC…

“There were over 100 young people there, and all of us worked on different issues. We had the ability to come home and protest against our own government, but the Cuban people most certainly cannot do that. They couldn’t do it then and they can’t do it now,” said Bass.

If she understood that why did she sing from the Cuban communist hymnal for several decades after she left the country? Why did she mourn Fidel Castro? Why did she tell American citizens of Cuban heritage that Castro was their “commander-in-chief”? Does that sound like someone who has renounced communism?

But the views of both Demings and Bass don’t really matter in the dispositive sense to the national party. Just like Kluxers of old, the party is just interested in one thing: the color of their skin. Yes, the harridans and gorgons who run and staff the Democrats also want to make sure a man is not picked for veep because the poor dears have had to put up with an inherently toxic man at the top of the ticket.

But if they win in November, they probably won’t have to wait long at all until their veep calls their attorney general and says, “Tell me about the 25th Amendment.”

The Fatigue Factor: Is America Tired Of Democrat Drama?

President Biden? It’s a sobering thought. Not so much because Joe Biden is a wild-eyed loon. But because he’s using loons to get elected and they will want payment if he pulls it off.

Slim chance, you say. Really? Think again.

Yes, the polls are corrupted and contrived and the media is totally in the tank for the Democrats—as they always are. And it is true, by any logical analysis, that by comparing track records and personalities, the president wins by a wide mile. But those are sensible perspectives and politics is sadly not about sensible anything…but more likely than not about illogical and senseless perception borne of a shallow relationship between the voter and the zeitgeist.

And we can all admit, the spirit of the times is not good. Not since the late 1960s have we had this kind of constant drama of existential controversy. Granted, all of it contrived by the Democrats and the media.

Even before the president took office he was supposedly a Russian pawn. Then there was a special prosecutor. Then impeachment. Now COVID-19 and riots. Have the American people run out of patience with the consistent melodramatic brouhaha? Is there a fatigue factor setting in where a majority of voters in key battleground states are willing to tolerate a Biden presidency to end the never-ending kerfuffle?

Because you know that’s the deal. As soon as Biden would be elected, peace and tranquility would reign supreme. A new golden age, for some people. It’s almost like a tumultuous romantic relationship where you break up with someone you really like because you just can’t handle the drama anymore.

Does the president have an effective defense against this? He should, and it would be law and order. In 1968, under somewhat similar circumstances, Richard Nixon used that theme to great advantage against Democrat Hubert Humphrey and was elected president. But the country is different than it was in the late 60s.

We’ve replaced generations tempered by depression, war, and prosperity with an easily swayed significant portion of the population composed of social media-driven voyeurs and a youth programmed to respond to basic PC stimuli like the most conditioned of Pavlov’s dogs.

Whither the republic? I don’t know. Honestly, I wish that I could, as I did (pre-COVID) confidently predict a Trump victory. There are still idiots out there doing that and by their clueless complacency making a Biden victory much more possible. You know the type. The ones that, despite all evidence to the contrary, actually said “Red Tsunami” in 2018 and meant it. Their confirmation bias does not help the cause.

So we stand on the precipice of the fall campaign season and all bets are off. We can win if the American people still have a modicum of sense. The Left will win if the same people throw in the towel and surrender to the false drama of manufactured negativity Democrats and the hard left have produced —and will continue to produce— until November.

Because it’s not really a Trumpian drama. It’s Democrat drama wrapped up with insincere bows and ribbons by the press to drop on the presidential doorstep. If the American people get that, we’re okay. If not, well, say hello to the 25th Amendment.

With Trump’s Re-Election Almost Assured, Conservatives Need To Be Focused On The House And Senate

The Dems aren’t playing 3–D chess while the Republicans play checkers. Dems are ruthless and power-mad, but they’re malevolently intelligent, not smart in any normal sense of the word. They know the system front, back, and sideways. They have a script and stick to it, mostly.

They have a strategy (such as it is) driven by a rancid ideology, so they don’t have to “think,” really. Dems are emoting machines, not thinking machines. Dems perform, they do not work, as in “work for a living.”

The Dem strategy for impeachment runs parallel with other strategies with the shared goal of Fundamental Transformation – of this country, the dominant culture, contemporary society, norms, rules, conventions.

Impeachment is simply more chaos, more uncertainty, more unhappiness. These are all desirable outcomes, as far as today’s Democrats are concerned. Spread the misery far and wide. It’s what the white patriarchy deserves.

By my estimation, four Republican seats might swing but only two Democrats. So unless there is something really big in October, the Senate is about even. I would hate to lose those judges and hopefully a new budget deal.

IT IS ALL EXTREMELY DIABOLICAL

The television news, talk, and late-night shows are all highlighting how righteous the DemocRATs are and how evil, vindictive, and revengeful Trump is. The media is a powerful weapon against Trump. This goes on 24/7. Senators listen to the TV and the polls, and they continue to hear that Trump is bad and must go.

Clever sound-bites are burying the truth.

The Dems and their media partners are extremely skilled in their psychological propaganda. Now secret recordings are being paraded to boost their case. The media is not covering the Trump defense like they did the prosecution, of course. It does not see the light of day, on purpose. And even though Trump’s lawyers are confident they have the truth, he could still lose (see last paragraph).

People need to prepare themselves because God forbid, Trump could lose.

That’s exactly what George Soros and other billionaire globalists (communists) are striving for. I have said it again and again that merely reelecting Trump is not enough. Look what the House has already done with their majority. If the Dems win in the Senate and keep the House, Trump will hardly be able to move.

It’s high time to put that popcorn aside that Trump is going to win in a landslide and concentrate heavily on the House and the Senate. Other than the heavy election and ballot fraud, Trump’s reelection is pretty much assured.

DEMS ARE LOSING THE BLACK VOTE AND ARE DESPERATE

The left knows that they are losing the Black vote (and probably the Hispanic too), so they are desperately trying to get the white moderates and independent votes thru blaming President Trump for all the staged civil unrest.

The false compassion, white demonization strategy is very risky and deadly for Democrats because it relies on violent anarchists committing criminal acts to create fear and uncertainty. At the same time, the Democrats do nothing (and enable the chaos).

Eventually, reasonable people will be looking for who can control and reverse all the damage done. How can the Democrats be the solution to the problem they created?

The most frustrating thing about politics isn’t the rabid anti-American left; it is the gutlessness of our pro-American Republicans, who, with almost no exception, I don’t doubt that they love this country. I don’t understand how they can’t understand that millions of people would cheerfully support them if they stood up to this garbage.

THE MORE I THINK ABOUT THINGS ARE COOL

No one is enthusiastic about Biden. Most Trump supporters can’t wait to vote for Trump and I would rather Trump poll a little behind as it will be a reminder to go and vote for him. At the same time, the sleepy Joe voters will hopefully repeat 2016 and just stay home thinking that Joe has it in the bag and there is no reason to waste time voting for him, and they aren’t all that excited to vote for him anyway.

I don’t think the Democrats are focusing on the “anybody, but Trump” vote is a winning strategy.

THAT’S WHY WE MUST DO THIS

Everyone here needs to get off of their ass and vote. We need people to do more than type about their beliefs. Vote. Get your friends and family to vote. This is one of the critical moments in history. If you don’t vote, you should be too ashamed to ever chat in forums like this again.
