Jared Kushner Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize By Alan Dershowitz For His Work On Israel Peace Efforts

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz has officially nominated former White House advisor Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of Donald Trump, for a Nobel Peace Prize for his role in “negotiating four normalization deals between Israel and Arab nations known as the ‘Abraham Accords.””

Dershowitz Nominates Kushner For Nobel Peace Prize

Both Kushner and his deputy, Avi Berkowitz, who was the Middle East envoy, were nominated by Dershowitz on Sunday. Dershowitz, who represented former President Trump during his first impeachment trial last year, was able to nominate the two men for this honor thanks to his position as professor emeritus of Harvard Law School.

In his letter to the Nobel Peace Prize committee, Dershowitz admitted that while his nomination will probably not be popular, it is deserved.

“The Nobel Peace Prize is not for popularity,” he wrote, according to Reuters. “Nor is it an assessment of what the international community may think of those who helped bring about peace. It is an award for fulfilling the daunting criteria set out by Alfred Nobel in his will.”

Kushner Praised For Abraham Accords

Dershowitz went on to describe the Abraham Accords, which were brought about between August and December of last year, as “the most significant diplomatic breakthroughs in the Middle East in 25 years.”

“We encourage efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance a culture of peace among the three Abrahamic religions and all humanity,” the United States said of the Abraham Accords on State Department website.

“We believe that the best way to address challenges is through cooperation and dialogue and that developing friendly relations among States advances the interests of lasting peace in the Middle East and around the world,” the statement added.

Kushner Responds

Kushner reportedly “said he was honored to be nominated for the prize,” according to Reuters.

Liberals are undoubtedly losing their minds over this, as they are out to vilify Kushner and every other person with ties to Trump. We applaud Dershowitz for giving Kushner the respect he deserves and for honoring the historic work he did regarding Israel.

Of The 10 Republicans Who Voted To Impeach Trump, 7 Are Already Facing Primary Challenges

Seven out of the 10 Republican lawmakers who voted in favor of impeaching former President Donald Trump are already facing primary challenges for their congressional seats.

Newsweek indicates that the pro-impeachment GOPers have “been publicly scolded, pushed to resign and warned that local organizations will mount a strong push to oust them from office in the primary.”

The report profiles primary challenges already forming for Reps. David Valadao (CA), Liz Cheney (WY), Adam Kinzinger (IL), Dan Newhouse (WA), and Anthony Gonzalez (OH).

They add, “Another Republican has created an exploratory committee in a potential bid for Representative Tom Rice’s seat and local GOP organizations have vowed to recruit someone to go after Representative Jamie Herrera Buetler’s spot in Congress.”

Republicans Who Voted to Impeach Face Challenges

Two of the more high-profile of the Republicans facing challenges after voting to impeach former President Trump are Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

Kinzinger announced the formation of a new PAC he claims is fighting to “take back” the GOP from Trump.

“The party that always spoke about a brighter tomorrow no longer does,” he said. “It talks about a dark future instead. Hope has given way to fear. Outrage has replaced opportunity. And worst of all, our deep convictions are ignored.

“This is not the Republican road and now we know exactly where (that) new and dangerous road leads. It leads to insurrection and an armed attack on the Capitol,” he claimed.

Kinzinger has a history of struggling to comprehend basic concepts, having once chastised Trump for sharing a story about a “civil-war like fracture” in the country.

Yet, here he is tearing the country apart with another impeachment witch hunt.

Kinzinger, it should be noted, along with an aide to former House Speaker Paul Ryan, was one of the first recipients of the infamous Steele dossier, according to court memos back in 2018.

Cheney, meanwhile, has had several GOP lawmakers call for her to resign from her leadership post following her vote to impeach the former President.

“She is weakening our conference at a key moment for personal political gain and is unfit to lead,” Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) said at the time. “She must step down as Conference Chair.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) eviscerated Cheney saying her legacy in Congress is simply to “frustrate the agenda of President [Donald] Trump and sell out to the forever war machine.”

Voters Aren’t Siding With Anti-Trumpers

A recent poll from Axios-Ipsos shows Republicans are siding with President Trump over Republicans who supported the impeachment drive, signaling trouble for those facing primary challenges.

The results show a vast majority of Republicans do not hold Trump responsible for the Capitol riots, believe he had a right to challenge the election, and are even sticking with him as their preferred nominee in 2024.

What Trump does over the next 18 months will be key in how the Republican party moves forward. Those who voted to impeach will be tested.

Impeachment trial, investigations: How Congress is addressing the Jan 6 insurrection

Former President Donald Trump, charged with inciting the January 6 insurrection, is facing his second impeachment trial amid ongoing investigations by Congressional committees and federal agencies into the events that led to the attack. Melania Trump Reveals Her Post-White House Plans – She’s Going To Maintain ‘Be Best’

The former First Lady Melania Trump has revealed some of her post-White House plans, as she is reportedly starting an office in Palm Beach, Florida, in part to “maintain ‘Be Best.'”

Melania’s Post-White House Plans

This was revealed in a CNN report, which stated that Melania’s post-White House staff will include three familiar staffers: Hayley D’Antuono, who previously served as her director of operations and trip supervisor; Mary Finzer, who previously managed Melania’s “gift closet;” and Marcia Kelly, a former unpaid senior adviser in the White House.

Sources said that the team is planning to initially work remotely and out of the Trumps’ private Mar-a-Lago Club, though Melania, 50, is looking for a separate office space in Palm Beach.

This comes days after former President Donald Trump announced that he is launching his own post-White House office.

Palm Beach Residents Attack Trumps

This also comes after the town of Palm Beach confirmed it was reviewing whether the Trumps could legally make their residence at Mar-a-Lago, in light of an agreement that the former president signed back in 1993, according to People Magazine.

This agreement, which Trump signed after he converted his former residence into the private club, stated that no members would stay there for longer than seven days at a time.

Residents of Palm Beach have been calling on local officials to examine the issue.

“It’s a legal matter. It’s a contract,” said Palm Beach Town Manager Kirk Blouin. “We have attorneys that prepared [the use agreement] for the town … obviously it was prepared many, many years ago. So because it’s a legal matter, it is being reviewed.”

After launching “Be Best,” Melania said that she was alright with criticism, explaining in 2018, “It is not news or surprising to me that critics and the media have chosen to ridicule me for speaking out on this issue, and that’s okay.”

“I remain committed to tackling this topic because it will provide a better world for our children,” she continued.

“And I hope that, like I do, you will consider using their negative words as motivation to do all you can to bring awareness and understanding about responsible online behavior,” Melania added.

Ohio Republicans Launch Bid To Make June 14 ‘President Donald J. Trump Day’

Two Republicans from Ohio have launched an effort to make June 14 “President Donald J. Trump Day” in their state.

Republicans Launch Effort For ‘President Donald J. Trump Day’

State Reps. Reggie Stoltzfus of Paris Twp. and Jon Cross of Kenton are reportedly preparing to introduce a bill in the Ohio House of Representatives to make this holiday, according to the Ohio Capital Journal.

June 14 is both Trump’s birthday and Flag Day. Stoltzfus and Cross said that the bill is meant to show the three million Ohioans that voted for Trump “that we as a legislature recognize the accomplishments of his administration, and that the Ohio House believes it is imperative we set aside a day to celebrate one of the greatest presidents in American history.”

“(Trump) personified the emotions of millions of Ohioans who for too long have felt marginalized by our government and the American political system,” they added.

“While the media tarnishes his achievements and his legacy, the legislation will help ensure that for one day each year the voices of millions of people from all corners of our state will be commemorated,” they said.

Rep. Jeff Crossman (D-Parma) told The Columbus Dispatch that he felt the date would be “disrespectful.”

“I don’t like the idea of changing an existing federal holiday that honors the flag,” Corssman said.

Washington Post Calls For Trump To Be Denied Presidential Library

This comes after the Washington Post published a piece by “art and architecture critic” Philip Kennicott calling for Trump to not be given a presidential library.

“Trump must never have an official presidential library, and Congress should move quickly to make sure he never will,” Kennicott wrote, adding that Trump cannot be trusted to handle documents relating to his presidency, because he “mixed public and private interests.”

Related: Washington Post Article Demands No Presidential Library For Trump, Calls It ‘Issue Of National Security’

He went on to say that Trump may use his presidential library to brag about his success, which should not be allowed.

“The danger of Trump using a presidential library to burnish his image is far more serious, with the ex-president and his surrogates still promoting the idea that his electoral loss was somehow fraudulent,” Kennicott said.

“That creates an ongoing uncertainty in American public life, which Trump and even more unscrupulous actors will use to further division, inflame tension, exacerbate racism and delegitimize the American democratic system,” he added.

Ana Navarro Claims McCarthy’s Mar-a-Lago Trip Was ‘White Slavery’ – Says He’s Owned By His Master, Trump

On Friday’s episode of “The View,” host Ana Navarro ripped Rep. Kevin McCarthy for going to visit former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, saying that this was an example of “white slavery.”

Navarro Blasts McCarthy For Visiting Trump

“This has been such a sad week for the Republican Party because this is a time when they had a chance to get rid of the cross that they have been bearing with Donald Trump, who has divided the party and opened it up for all sorts of nut jobs to come into the party,” Navarro said.

“Instead, what we see is Kevin McCarthy, who has been all over the place, making a pilgrimage to I guess what is going to become now the Republican Mecca, I call it Far-a-Lago. And by the way, can we put the picture back up?” she added.

“Can we just talk about the interior of Mar-a-Lago?” Navarro continued. “It’s like, what vintage bordello look? And so he went down there to make nice with Donald Trump because Donald Trump is threatening to open up a third party if Republicans don’t continue kissing his ring, among other body parts.”

“I think it’s pathetic,” she said. “You know, I think it’s white slavery, what I just witnessed from Kevin McCarthy. He looks like he’s owned by his master, and his master is Donald Trump, and it’s pathetic.”

McCarthy Visits Trump

This comes after McCarthy had a “very good and cordial” meeting with Trump in Florida, welcoming the president’s support in promoting GOP candidates in the next election, according to Fox News.

“President Trump has agreed to work with Leader McCarthy on helping the Republican Party to become a majority in the House,” read a statement from Trump-aligned Save America PAC.

“They worked very well together in the last election and picked up at least 15 [sic] seats when most predicted it would be the opposite. They will do so again, and the work has already started,” the statement continued.

Navarro has made a career for herself by claiming to be a Republican who was disillusioned by the party due to Trump. However, virtually nothing that comes out of her mouth sounds like it’s coming from someone who was ever a Republican.

Adam Schiff Rips GOP Leaders As ‘Dangerous Cult’ Over Threats Made To Democrats

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) blasted the Republican Party as a “dangerous cult” after it was reported that names of Democrat lawmakers were found on a list on the person of a man who was caught near the U.S. Capitol with a gun and ammunition.

Police arrested the 71 year-old man at the Capitol on Wednesday for possessing a pistol without a license after he was caught shouting at guardsmen. Officials said afterwards that the man had been at the Capitol riots and had posted memes related to the QAnon conspiracy theory on social media.

Schiff Attacks Republicans

Schiff wasted no time in using this to fuel his own agenda as he attacked Republican leaders after CNN found several Facebook posts from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) calling for the execution of Democratic leaders.

“You look at some of these members, including Representative Greene, who have threatened on social media prior to her election other members of Congress,” Schiff told CNN host Wolf Blitzer.

“You have members like her who have suggested that attacks against students, murderous attacks on high school campuses like at Parkland were somehow fake, fraudulent, or false flag operations,” he added. “And they’re being rewarded by [House Minority Leader Rep.] Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) with assignments on the education committee!”

“You know, the GOP leadership is becoming little more than a cult and a dangerous cult,” Schiff continued.

Greene has already responded by saying that the controversial posts were actually written by members of her team, and that she does not endorse them.

Schiff Doubles Down

Schiff went on to blast McCarthy for visiting former President Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago this week.

“That is sadly where the GOP leadership is at in Congress, and that’s part of the reason why the Capitol looks like an armed fortress right now,” Schiff lamented.

Schiff added that he is disappointed at the permanent fencing being erected around the Capitol after the riots earlier this month.

“It’s just awful to see the necessary presence of so many troops, National Guard troops, guarding the nation’s Capitol,” he said. “I would have never imagined that would be necessary, and I hope that it won’t be necessary indefinitely.”

Top Dem Accuses Trump Of ‘Actively Courting A Rise Of The Confederacy’ And ‘Civil War In Our Country’

Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) spoke out on Friday to outrageously accuse former President Donald Trump of “actively courting a rising of the Confederacy” and “a civil war.”

Jayapal Attacks Trump

“We all feel this tension of our colleagues who are continuing to not admit that Joe Biden won the election or continuing to engage with white nationalist extremist groups that were part of the insurrection on the Capitol, are continuing to tie themselves to Donald Trump, the president, who incited the insurrection,” Jayapal said while appearing on MSNBC.

“The most violent on the Capitol since the War of 1812,” she added. “The reality is there are too many members of the Republican Party who are refusing to wear masks, are refusing to go through metal detectors.”

Jayapal Calls Republican Party A ‘Cult’

Not stopping there, Jayapal went on to accuse the Republican Party of being a “cult.”

“So it is real, the security threat to us, individually, in our homes, in our districts, and on the floor are real,” she said. “So is the rage at Republicans who are choosing a cult party and a cult figure over the Constitution. That’s what it is.”

“I have a lot of respect for Liz Cheney, for Adam Kinzinger, for Republicans, who understand their number one duty is to make sure we preserve our democracy and Constitution,” Jayapal continued.

“If Republicans choose to go along with Donald Trump, they’re choosing to go along with a president who incited insurrection and who is actively courting a rising of the Confederacy and, frankly, a civil war in our country,” she added. “So it is a very difficult time in our country.”

Related: Ilhan Omar Says If Republicans Won’t Remove ‘Dangerous And Violent’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, Then ‘We Must Do It’

“We are not going to succumb to this moment of, you know, really, terribly troubling times for our country,” Jayapal concluded. “Katy, the road to fascism is littered with moments where people either did not speak up, or they went along with what was being proposed. I do fear for our country in this moment.”

This comes after Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) made similar comments about the Republican Party.

“You know, the GOP leadership is becoming little more than a cult and a dangerous cult,” Schiff continued.

Most Americans Say Trump Impeachment Will Only Divide Us More

Democrats are on a mission right now to impeach former President Donald Trump in the Senate, but a new poll might make them think twice about this, as it’s showing that this may not be what the majority of Americans want.

Americans Think Trump Impeachment Will Divide Us

A new Rasmussen Reports poll found that 57% of likely voters said that another Trump impeachment will only divide Americans more.

It also found that only 19% believe the impeachment trial will unify Americans, and 20% said it wouldn’t have any impact on unity one way or the other.

On top of that, the poll concluded that 50% of likely voters believe that the Senate should not convict the Trump of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” and 45% said he should be convicted at all.

The House voted to impeach Trump for a second time earlier this month for “incitement of insurrection” regarding the Capitol riots.

Rand Paul Blasts Impeachment

This comes after Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) spoke out to say that the upcoming Senate impeachment trial of Trump is already “dead on arrival.”

“We had 45 people, 45 Republican senators say that the whole charade is unconstitutional,” Paul told Fox News earlier this week. “So, what does that mean? It means … the trial is dead on arrival.”

“There will be a show,” he added. “There will be a parade of partisanship, but the Democrats really will not be able to win. They will be able to play a partisan game that they wish to play. But it’s all over.”

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said on BlazeTV’s “Glenn Beck Program” that the Trump impeachment is “unconstitutional.”

“The Constitution says the purpose of impeachment is to remove somebody,” Dershowitz said.”He [Trump] is out of office. There’s nothing left to do. It doesn’t say you can impeach him to disqualify him for the future. It says, if you remove him you can then add disqualification, but you can’t just impeach somebody to disqualify them.”

It should be noted that no president has ever been impeached after they have left office.
