Ayanna Pressley Compares Trump’s Coronavirus Response To ‘War Crimes’

Ayanna Pressley, Democrat Representative from Massachusettes and proud Squad member, believes President Trump’s response to the coronavirus is “akin to war crimes.”

Pressley made the remarks during a virtual press conference on Facebook, a social media entity that at least pretends they’re cracking down on misinformation.

“As far as I’m concerned what’s happening with this administration, it’s akin to war crimes,” the wildly misinformed congresswoman stated. “Criminal negligence, science denial, a sluggish response.”

Her statement leaves little doubt that the radical left truly does believe that Trump is responsible for the deaths of those who succumbed to a virus that originated in China.

How mind-numbingly low can they possibly sink?

All They Have Is Insane Rhetoric

Pressley went on to suggest now is the time to capitalize on the pandemic and implement their radical agenda.

“We find ourselves in the position of playing catch up in the midst of a pandemic,” she said, seemingly unaware that the curve has been successfully flattened in most parts of the country. “Which is the last place you want to be in the midst of any public health crisis — certainly not a pandemic — is working from behind.”

“And we just have to reject any calls for a return to normal because that normal was what was slowly killing people,” she concluded.

Ignorance Is a Crime

If a sluggish response is ‘akin to a war crime’ then the Democrat party has a lot of blood on their own hands.

While the resistance party was plotting impeachment for months, President Trump was setting up a coronavirus task force, ordering more testing and ventilators, restricting travel from countries known to be battling the virus, and declaring a national emergency.

Well after all of these actions had been taken, Pressley declined to attend Trump’s State of the Union address – in which he warned about the pending coronavirus crisis!

That is negligence.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell admitted that the Democrats’ impeachment sham “diverted the attention of the government” away from focusing on important matters at hand.

That didn’t stop the President from saving lives, as Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has said the travel ban did.

“One of the things that we did very early and very aggressively, the president put the travel restriction coming from China to the United States and most recently from Europe to the United States,” Fauci said.

Any idea what Pressley and the Democrats were doing then?

They were actively pursuing the ‘No Ban Act‘ which was designed to restrict the President’s authority in implementing new travel bans.

They were trying to prevent the President of the United States from saving lives during a pandemic.

Which of these people sound more like they’ve taken actions “akin to war crimes”?

Trump Torches Mitt Romney In Explaining Why He Was Left Off Coronavirus Task Force

President Trump on Sunday explained to reporters why Senator Mitt Romney was excluded from a White House task force on opening up the economy during the coronavirus crisis.

The administration announced last week a panel of congressional members known as the “Opening Up America Again Congressional Group.”

Those chosen to discuss supply chains, the Paycheck Protection Program and “ways to energize the economy,” included several Democrat lawmakers as well as all 52 of Romney’s GOP colleagues.

Mitt was on the outside looking in.

Doesn’t Need His Advice

The President was first asked if Romney being left off the task force meant he was holding a grudge against the only Republican to vote for his impeachment.

“Yeah it does,” he replied.

Trump then explained why Romney, an accomplished businessman and former governor, was left out. It was a short answer, but sometimes simple is better.

“I’m not a fan of Mitt Romney,” he concluded. “I don’t really want his advice.”

RELATED: Romney Is The Only Republican Senator Excluded From New White House Coronavirus Task Force

Who Needs His Advice

Romney (R-UT) was the only Senator to cross party lines and vote to convict President Trump in the Senate impeachment trial. The same trial that took media and congressional focus off of the coronavirus pandemic that was brewing at the time.

Perhaps had Congress been formulating a plan to stem the tide of the virus instead of focusing on an impeachment sham, there would have been less of an economic impact on America in the first place.

“It came up while we were tied down in the impeachment trial,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said of the pandemic. “And I think it diverted the attention of the government because everything every day was all about impeachment.”

Romney helped make that happen.

Ineffective Romney

Let’s face it – Romney has no interest in helping the President accomplish anything. He only seeks to serve his own political ambitions.

When it benefitted his career, the one-time actual Republican was more than willing to accept Trump’s endorsement for President in 2012 and for Senate in 2018.

Likewise, when he needed attention from his Democrat friends in Congress and the media, Romney votes to impeach and writes op-eds declaring he must “speak out against … actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.”

Except, now he’s been neutered from having the ability to help out our country when we need it most.

Democrats And TV Hosts Blaming Trump, Not China, For Pandemic Are Spreading Misinformation And Creating Division

Senators, television hosts, and prominent Democratic leaders are blaming President Trump for mishandling the spread of the virus that has taken the world to its knees.

Presidential nominee Joe Biden is among the group, appearing on CNN with Host Anderson Cooper, claiming Trump’s plan to ease back into normal life doesn’t have “hard guidelines.” As the former Vice President embarks on what one can assume was supposed to be an example of previous leadership, he loses grip of the topic as he speaks.

Watch Joe Biden try to describe the poignant moment in American History during WWII… when President Roosevelt “came up with a thing.”

It’s easy to criticize from the sidelines Joe.

Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), just to give insight into his modus operandi, attended the State of the Union address given by President Trump back in February, then swiftly put out a statement (that reeked of prior-planning) on the same day as the address, about how much he regretted attending the State of the Union Address.

In order to get attention from leftist media outlets, Democrat Chris Murphy will take every opportunity to attack President Trump.

But during this time, when Senators and leaders should not be politicizing the virus, Chris Murphy has lashed out yet again against Trump. His Twitter page looks like an anti-Trump rally on steroids.

Here’s Chris Murphy on CNN with Host Anderson Cooper:

Murphy, arguably the most shameless liar on the anti-Trump stage, claims the current administration was cavalier about the virus in February. Anyone can leave a meeting and make up a lie, but perhaps he should consider that on January 31st, Trump decided to restrict travel from China, showing early signs of concern.

And guess what Senator Murphy was talking about on January 31st, the day the President decided to limit travel from China because of the coronavirus? You guessed it, he was focused on impeaching the President.

Chris “Say Anything” Murphy has proved ad nauseam that he would all but dive in front of a bus to get national media attention. Actually, he likes to board city buses as part of an ill-advised campaign to connect with voters.

Chris Murphy using public transportation doesn’t prove that he cares about blue collar Americans – just like his bashing the American President doesn’t mean he knows about the origins or complications surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.

More reporting is coming out by the day about how China has mishandled the outbreak. How China allowed international travel from Wuhan, but would not allow travel from Wuhan to other parts of China. New sources say that China knew early on about human to human transmission of the coronavirus and hid this information from other nations, who otherwise would have been more equipped to protect their own citizens.

Geraldo Rivera on Fox News told primetime Host Sean Hannity on Friday that China has “made prostitutes out of half of Washington.”

Senator Chris Murphy is silent about investigations into the Chinese Communist Party, but eager to manipulate the public into thinking the American response is the problem.

Maybe Elizabeth Warren can help Chris Murphy connect with everyday Americans and grab him one of those elusive ‘working class beer bottles’ from her fridge.

Then they can get on a Zoom call with Speaker Pelosi and pick ice cream flavors out of the freezer.

Nancy Pelosi stays true to form during this crisis and blames Trump for mishandling the pandemic. Lacking self-awareness as always, Pelosi blames Trump for “dismantling” our infrastructure which led to a lack of preparedness, then continues to assert that weak people blame others. Look in the mirror, Nancy.

While Trump was working on protecting our borders from COVID-19, Nancy Pelosi was frothing over impeachment. Wasting our time is what these prominent Democrats are doing, relentlessly since 2016.

Of course, no world event has been properly examined until it’s run through the panel on ABC’s daytime talk show, The View.

Joy Behar, co-host of ‘The View’ tried to blame the President for not acting to fight the virus appropriately, with her usual condescension, beginning her question to Senator Lindsey Graham (R – S.C.) by inferring Trump’s “massive ego” makes him delusional, until Graham gives her a run for her money in support of the President’s handling of the virus.

MSNBC Anchor Stephanie Ruhle suggested that Biden should open up a shadow government, as “counter-programming” for Trump’s Press Briefings.

What exactly would a counter-programming campaign from Joe Biden look like? The man couldn’t get through a teleprompter reading of “See Spot Run.”

These Democrats need to drop their agenda-driven misinformation campaigns at the door and do their jobs. Americans need information and guidance, not political war.

But if that’s what they want, they’re fighting the wrong administration.

Rush Limbaugh Warns America ‘Headed To Great Depression’ With ‘Democrats Fully On Board’

On Thursday, conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh warned his listeners that the country is headed for another Great Depression if the economy contracts any more due to the COVID-19 crisis shutdowns.

Another Great Depression?

“All we need is a 30 to 40% contraction in this economy,” Limbaugh said. “We’ll hit Great Recession territory first and then depression, if this doesn’t stop… and the idea that there are people advocating for this!”

RELATED: Chris Cuomo Curses At Trump Because The President Wants To Give People Hope During Pandemic

Rush said this trend toward depression could be reversed, but that “there are forces arrayed against doing that.”

“We know who they are,” Limbaugh said. “We know exactly. We know they’re all Democrats. We know they are some in the health and medical community. The Drive-By Media, the media, and the Democrats are fully on board with the Democrat agenda here … They are hoping that coronavirus accomplishes what Robert Mueller and impeachment, Adam Schiff failed to do.”

Rush said Americans are “doing this to ourselves – and it’s amazing how quickly!”

“Three years to revive an economy, create roaring circumstances,” Limbaugh continued. “It took less than two months to wipe it all out. Twenty-two million people filing for unemployment compensation — 22 million — and the idea that there is not an angry outcry from all over the world that this must stop?
That outcry had better happen, because this…”

‘We could fix at the snap of our fingers’

“We’re beyond now saying this is unsustainable,” Rush warned. “This is untenable! This is cataclysmic! We’re in the midst of a self-created disaster that we could fix (snap, snap, snap) at the snap of our fingers.”

“How in the world can anybody sane want to keep this economy shut down?” Limbaugh asked. “How can anybody sane be anything less than scared and outraged and mortified that 22 million people have been thrown out of work over something that may end up killing fewer than 50,000 people? It is unprecedented! And yet there are people who want to maintain the circumstances we are in. And it boggles the mind.”

‘We cannot go on!’

“It is so counterintuitive to Americanism,” Limbaugh insisted. “We cannot go on!… I can’t believe it has gone on this long! I can’t believe… In one way, I can’t believe the American people haven’t arisen in outrage over this yet.”

In February, Limbaugh was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom during the State of the Union address by President Donald Trump.

Romney Is The Only Republican Senator Excluded From New White House Coronavirus Task Force

Mitt Romney is the only Republican senator excluded from a congressional task force created by the White House to formulate a plan to reopen the country.

The administration released a list of members in Congress who took part in a phone call with the President discussing supply chains, the Paycheck Protection Program and “ways to energize the economy.”

The Hill reports that the list “included nearly 70 senators, including all 52 of Romney’s GOP colleagues in the chamber.”

Romney, however, is on the outside looking in.

Romney Excluded

This would be more noteworthy if anyone was under the impression Romney still identifies as an actual member of the GOP.

In reality, he sits on the sidelines with his Democrat colleagues whose work in trying to dismantle the Trump presidency runs more in line with his own political motivations.

Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sander (Communist-VT), along with red-state Democrats Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Doug Jones (D-AL) were all left off the task force.

Romney’s Clouded Judgment

Had Romney been included on the task force, there’d be little surprise due to his successful business background. His acumen in creating jobs and improving business economic conditions can not be disputed.

His judgment, on the other hand, has been very clouded over the last few years. Why would the President want someone on a task force to jump-start the economy when:

  1. That person knows an improved economy will help the nation and by extension the President and
  2. That person has a history of trying to hurt the current administration.

It seems like a solid choice NOT to pick Romney.

Impeachment Slowed Coronavirus Response

Worth noting that many actual Republicans in Congress have admitted that the impeachment charade was a key factor in their inability to help the President take action on the coronavirus.

You know, the impeachment that Romney joined in on in voting to convict the President?

“It came up while we were tied down in the impeachment trial,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said. “And I think it diverted the attention of the government because everything every day was all about impeachment.”

While Democrats were entirely focused on impeachment, President Trump would issue travel restrictions with China, establish a Coronavirus Task Force, and declare coronavirus a public health emergency, among many other actions.

President Trump repeatedly mocked Romney last month when it became evident that he would have to self-quarantine during the coronavirus crisis due to possible exposure through Senator Rand Paul.

“Romney is in isolation?” Trump asked a reporter. “Gee, that’s too bad.”

Now he’s being isolated from the task force to open the American economy back up again. Romney’s actions are now limiting his ability to serve his constituents and make America great again.

Here We Go: Democrats Equate Halting WHO Funding To ‘Impeachable’ Offenses

House Democrats are using language which compares impeachment to President Trump’s order to halt funding to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The President announced earlier this week that his administration would stop funding until a review could be conducted into whether the WHO was responsible for “severely mismanaging and covering up” spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“So much death has been caused by their mistakes,” he said at a press briefing.

Democrats Side Against America

To nobody’s surprise, Democrats have all lined up in unison behind the WHO and against America. They have suggested President Trump lacks the authority to cut funding already approved by Congress.

The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday tweeted that Trump’s actions were “illegal.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) also claimed Trump’s move to defund the group was “dangerous,” “illegal,” and will be “swiftly challenged.”

We’re starting to get an idea of what she meant.

RELATED: Pelosi Sides With WHO Over America: Claims Trump’s Move to Halt Funding Is ‘Illegal’

Impeach!

The WHO is an organization that helped spread Chinese disinformation on the coronavirus and urged nations to keep their borders open during the pandemic.

Countless lives were lost either to their corruption or coordination with the Chinese Communist Party.

That said, Pelosi’s threat to ‘swiftly challenge’ Trump’s move to halt funding to such a group apparently equates to yet another push for impeachment.

“In a desperate attempt to deflect blame, President Trump is violating the same spending laws that brought about his impeachment,” said Evan Hollander, House Appropriations Committee spokesman.

“The President does not have the unilateral authority to withhold the United States’ assessed contribution to the World Health Organization.”

RELATED: Trump Calls Out Pelosi For Deleting Video In Which She Says Coronavirus Fears ‘Unwarranted’

They Care More About China

Congressional Democrats never opposed Barack Obama on the numerous occasions that he put conditions on aid to other nations or organizations when they weren’t serving the best interests of the United States.

The most famous of which, naturally, was when the Obama administration, according to former Vice President Joe Biden’s own words, threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine until they fired a prosecutor investigating a company involved with his son, Hunter.

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas said that Democrats seem to care more about protecting China and the World Health Organization than they do about the well-being of our own country.

Roy suggested America should “encourage the WHO to step up and get it right,” as opposed to siding with “the communists in China” and “against the interests of the United States.”

But then, they wouldn’t be modern-day Democrats if they sided with America.

Trump seeks new scapegoat for deaths caused by his fixation on reopening America by May 1

Donald Trump's COVID-19 response has proven to be an unmitigated failure with fresh reporting rendering it ever worse by the day. Trump and the Senate Republicans who voted to keep him in charge to lead America to slaughter are as desperate as ever to lay the blame for Trump's debacle at someone else's feet. In rapid succession, they've pointed the fingers at Democrats, impeachment, governors, and are presently trashing the World Health Organization (WHO) because, they say, it failed to contain and isolate the coronavirus in China. In other words, Trump is particularly pissy because WHO didn't do his No. 1 job for him—protecting Americans. Never mind the fact that WHO actually doesn't have the authority or mandate to go into a country and take over a health response.

But even amid Republicans' orchestrated bid to pin the blame elsewhere for his past failures, Trump can't wait to reopen America for business, even if it comes at the expense of more American lives. So as Trump fixates on jumpstarting the economy again by May 1, his team of ghouls is working feverishly to get broad buy-in so Trump won't be stuck holding the body bag if coronavirus cases spike again, according to the Washington Post.

The question isn't really if or even when anymore, it's moved to how. “He desperately wants to reopen as much as possible on May 1,” one former official briefed on the matter told the Post. “He’s been that way from the beginning, and he has not wavered. He seems determined to do it."

So in order to build in a "shield" of shared responsibility in case Trump’s plan goes horribly wrong, the Post writes that Trump's advisers "are trying to mobilize business executives, economists and other prominent figures to buy into the eventual White House plan, so that if it does not work, the blame can be shared broadly." In other words, Trump's aides want to make sure Trump has scapegoats at the ready.

Just to be clear, the main driver of Trump's urgency to reopen isn't about easing the financial pain that so many Americans are experiencing right now. Trump's chief goal and obsession is goosing his own reelection bid. That's why lives are really no object to him. Trump has chosen May 1 as his target date because he's antsy, not because any public health officials have told him that's a reasonable timeframe to begin easing social distancing restrictions.

And if you're wondering what the rush is, many presidential strategists say that, generally speaking, voters' perceptions of the economy for the upcoming election are typically baked in by the end of the second quarter. If that holds true this cycle (and who really knows?), Trump would need the economy to start humming again in the next couple months since it's really the only reelection rationale he has provided to voters who aren't outright racists and white supremacists.

Anyway, the West Wing is trying to recruit the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to provide a "national return to work plan," aka Operation Scapegoat. So expect to a see a huge push from the White House and conservative groups like FreedomWorks and the Heritage Foundation to get America back to work, or to "Save Our Country," as they have nicknamed the White House working group. Sounds just as foolproof as all Trump’s schemes.

President Trump Plays Video To Reporters Showing The Media Downplaying Coronavirus

President Trump turned the tables on the media Monday, showing a video montage of numerous times that they downplayed his concerns over the coronavirus crisis.

The President, weary of hearing the media falsely accuse him of not taking the threat of the pandemic seriously, blindsided reporters with the video.

It was a masterful move. Trump at his best, stealing the narrative from biased reporters and pointing a spotlight on their lies and half-truths.

Media Put To Shame

The video featured several instances in which mainstream media outlets and anti-Trump reporters scoffed at both the severity of the virus and the President’s actions in trying to protect the American people.

And now, they pretend as if they knew all along how bad things were going to get, sanctimoniously pointing accusatory fingers at the President for having blood on his hands.

Well, Trump wasn’t having it this time. And reporters got a heavy dose of shame at the press conference.

RELATED: CNN Panelist To Trump Voters: Now You’re Loved Ones Can Die

Media Downplayed COVID-19

The Washington Post said the flu is “much bigger threat than coronavirus.”

The New York Times claimed that fear “spreads faster than the coronavirus itself.”

CNN declared that “racist assaults and ignorant attacks against Asians” were spreading faster than the pandemic.

But it was President Trump – allegedly – who didn’t take things seriously?

“None of these people cared about you,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson complained. “They didn’t care about protecting public health, or sharing accurate information. They cared about being virtuous.”

“They put their wokeness above your life as they always do.”

RELATED: Chris Cuomo Goes On Shocking Rant, Blasts CNN Gig As ‘Trafficking In The Ridiculous’

Tried to Spin

Journos at the press conference did their best to take the focus off their own failures, accusing the President of having a meltdown.

They honestly don’t stand a chance. Their lies, numerous as they are, are on record for everybody to see. Trump pointing out those lies is not a meltdown – it’s the only way to get the truth out.

While the media was doing nothing other than covering impeachment for months, President Trump was setting up a coronavirus task force, ordering more testing and ventilators, restricting travel from countries known to be battling the virus, and declaring a national emergency.

On February 11th, Ron Klain, a top adviser to Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, said the administration’s actions were “far from doing nothing.”

Senator Lindsey Graham said it best, noting that “most Democrats and the media were more worried about impeaching President [Trump]
than coronavirus.”

Glad to see they finally woke up. But the adults in the room were already handling the crisis, limiting lives lost and protecting the American people.

Schiff Vows To ‘Dive Deep’ Into Trump Coronavirus Investigation

House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff vows to conduct a thorough investigation into the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this month, Schiff (D-CA) vowed to create a “nonpartisan” 9/11-style commission to study why America was “so unprepared” for the crisis.

He joined Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris in submitting an actual bill last week.

RELATED: Trump Whacks Democrats Latest Coronavirus Committee ‘Witch Hunt’

Another Partisan Witch Hunt

Speaking to low-information viewers of the MSNBC show “AM Joy,” Schiff declared that his commission would thoroughly investigate the Trump administration.

“We are diving deeply into what does the intelligence community know, what resources we would bring there, and what do we need to do prospectively to better protect the country in the future,” he announced.

Schiff also inadvertently admitted his investigation would be anything but ‘non-partisan,’ revealing that as the House Intelligence Committee chair he has already committed the ultimate sin of any investigator – drawing a conclusion first.

“It is very important, I think, in reviewing the intelligence component to this to realize the intelligence piece is just one piece of the warnings coming to the administration,” he said.

“A lot of those warnings were in the public domain. They came from public health organizations, like WHO or CDC or his own National Security Council, and ignored those warnings.”

‘Ignored those warnings.’

Schiff is now confessing to be in search of evidence pointing to a conclusion he’s already made. No competent, reasonable, or trusted investigator would ever operate in such a manner.

RELATED: Schiff Wants 9/11-Style Commission to Investigate Trump Administration’s Response to Coronavirus

Schiff is a Hack

Based on Schiff’s own commentary, one can only conclude that he is likely the most partisan political hack to ever head the House Intelligence Committee.

He has been a threat to this President from day one.

It was Schiff and his Democrat colleagues who bogged down an entire nation with impeachment dreams while the coronavirus was beginning to flourish, distracting lawmakers in Congress from protecting America.

“We have seen Americans unite with incredible selflessness and compassion,” President Trump recently stated. “I want to remind everyone here in our nation’s capital, especially in Congress, that this is not the time for politics, endless partisan investigations.”

Schiff is an embarrassment, yes, but worse, he is an imminent danger to this country.

While the President will be working diligently to revive America from the economic devastation wrought by this pandemic, Democrats will be working feverishly to slow him down yet again.

Make no mistake, Schiff cares more about his political future than he does the well-being of the American people.

COVID-19 news: Trump, his polls in the toilet, wants to ‘reopen America’ before fixing past failures

No wonder Donald Trump is all over the place with his coronavirus response. (Everywhere but competence, that is—and that’s just beyond him.) His polling is looking baaaad. But he’s going in the opposite direction from what the poll indicates the public wants. Trump is trying to evade responsibility by putting the responsibility on the states, but “Most Americans disagree with the Trump administration’s position that the federal government is a backup to the states. The public seems to view this as a national crisis that requires a national response on par with the aggressive approach taken by the states,” Monmouth University Polling Institute director Patrick Murray said.

Trump wants to "reopen America" without the one thing necessary to do so safely. Namely, testing. CNN went in depth on the Trump administration’s early testing failures, about which a University of Florida expert said “What we needed was extremely aggressive leadership at the CDC level and at the national level to say, okay, these are all our plans... I don't think there was really a realization of the magnitude of the problem.” And now, without having fixed the problems that started early on, Trump wants to lift precautions “very, very, very, very soon.” Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is pushing back.

● Republican lawmakers have a message for Trump: Shut up. Turns out, those endless press briefings aren’t playing as well as he thinks they are, and that’s not just a Democrat’s opinion.

● Democrats demand answers to how a tax break benefiting Trump and Kushner got into coronavirus bill.

● At-risk janitors, housekeepers, other non-clinical hospital staffers “terrified” about coronavirus.

● Trump is trying to kill the United States Postal Service as vote-by-mail becomes the best chance to save our democracy. Also on the vote-by-mail front, Georgia and Texas voting rights advocates go to court in the battle for absentee ballot access.

● Trump's White House is finally preparing for something: Beating back oversight of coronavirus relief. Impeachment provided a lot of practice and Trump’s lawyers are ready to go. Including, presumably, the one he’s trying to put in as inspector general for pandemic recovery.
