Limbaugh: Election Will Be Like 2016 With Conventional Wisdom Proved Wrong

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has said this election will end up like 2016, with conventional wisdom about who will win proved massively wrong.

Limbaugh: “It’s Always Wrong And It Is Groupthink”

Speaking to Fox and Friends on Tuesday, Limbaugh said this election was especially important, as it will “determine what kind of country we have going forward.”

He slammed the narrative that the media was pushing, that the election was some sort of guaranteed, landslide Biden victory.

“I look at the conventional wisdom and I make it a point never to follow it,” Limbaugh said.

“It’s always wrong and it is groupthink. Why you want to go along with what everybody else thinks?” he added.

“Everybody thinks it is a bunch of Democrats that hate Trump showing up because they hate the guy and they can’t wait to vote against this and that’s what the media has been telling us,” Limbaugh continued.

“A Whole Different Way Of Looking At This”

“They are fed up with the way he has been lied about, they are fed up with this Russian conspiracy hoax and this impeachment hoax, they are fed up with the attempts to destroy this country via Antifa and Black Lives Matter and they are tired of watching the cities burn,” he argued.

“They’re tired of watching Democratic governors and mayors shut down their cities and states. What’s to say this early voting isn’t a bunch of Republicans and Trump supporters showing up to get it out of their system?” he asked.

“I think there is a whole different way of looking at this. It is my way of looking at it and I welcome everybody to join me in my way of looking at this because my way is victory, my way is Trump winning and preserving the American way of life,” he concluded.

Who Says Conventional Wisdom Is Wisdom?

Limbaugh, who is currently dying of cancer, has been urging his millions of loyal radio listeners to re-elect President Trump today.

“This is not the old ‘Republicans versus Democrats,’ where we all have the same objectives, just different philosophies on how to get there,” he said in October.

“They do not have those objectives any more. Their purpose is to erase the Constitution, start over rewriting it, eliminating the concept of ‘The citizen has rights which prevail over government,'” he added.

“It’s serious, and it’s scary, and we don’t have a choice,” he argued. “You have to get out there and vote Trump.”

RELATED: Tucker Carlson Asks Americans To Vote Against ‘Disgusting’ Ruling Class By Voting For Trump

Limbaugh may also very well be correct about conventional wisdom.

One serious way the media could be wrong involves the overestimation of minority voters coming out for Biden.

Multiple polls have shown that Trump is well up with Hispanics and Latinos, along with black Americans too.

These polls are not the only evidence in favor of his hypothesis.

The Trump campaign massively outweighed the Biden campaign in gaining newly registered voters in key battleground states, like Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona.

And in Florida today, a state that pundits predict will go blue, Republican turnout could very well flip the script.

All of this combined together suggests the conventional wisdom, as Limbaugh said, really isn’t wisdom at all.

Rush Limbaugh: Skip the Senate Hearings And Go Straight To A Vote On Trump’s SCOTUS Nominee

Rush Limbaugh toyed with the idea that Senate Republicans skip the confirmation hearings for President Trump’s next Supreme Court nominee.

Limbaugh, a conservative radio host, mentioned the idea during his Monday broadcast.

He believes whoever the nominee is, Democrats will be planning to drag their name through the mud, just as they did with other Republican presidential nominees.

“I want the Judiciary Committee — I think it’d be great if it were skipped,” suggested Limbaugh.

“We don’t need to open that up for whatever length of time so that whoever this nominee is can be Kavanaughed or Borked or Thomased,” he added. “Because that’s what it’s gonna be, especially when it’s not even required.”

Rush Limbaugh Explains Why Republicans Should Skip SCOTUS Hearings

Aside from noting that the next nominee to the court will have their lives turned upside down by Democrats, Limbaugh believes there is no requirement dictating hearings must be held.

“You know, I mentioned that the Judiciary Committee does not have to do its thing. It’s become a tradition, but it’s not a requirement,” he explained.

“Why not just blow up another tradition? Because, I’ll tell you, that’s how we’re gonna maintain the ones that matter,” continued Limbaugh.

“They have to be defeated. This Supreme Court seat has to be confirmed, it has to be named and confirmed before the election.”

The United States Senate website on nominations states that the practice was not initially common:

“In the 19th century, the Senate referred few nominations to committees. Since the mid-20th century, committee referral has become routine and most nominees testify at Senate hearings.”

Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution alludes to the “advice and consent of the Senate” being required.

The president “shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for…”

The Senate site notes that this section though, “has inspired widely varying interpretations” of its meaning.

SCOTUS Process Was Always Going to Come Back to Haunt Dems

If holding confirmation hearings in the Senate is nothing more than a tradition, we see no reason for President Trump not to ‘blow it up.’

For two reasons:

1. Democrats are already threatening to blow up the process by using impeachment – a process reserved for ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ – as a means to stop Trump’s nominee.

2. Is there any doubt that the resistance party would take any action necessary the moment they have power again? Please.

In 2017, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell triggered the so-called ‘nuclear option’ after Democrats filibustered the nomination of  Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

Doing so abolished the 60-vote requirement for nominees, something the Democrats themselves instituted for other judicial nominees under the leadership of Harry Reid in 2013.

And McConnell warned him not to do it …

“You’ll regret this, and you may regret this a lot sooner than you think,” McConnell warned from the Senate floor.

Gorsuch, and later Brett Kavanaugh, were both beneficiaries of the ‘nuclear option’ being invoked.

It will certainly come into play with Trump’s selection to fill the vacancy left by the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

We have Democrats to thank for the controversial tactic. Now Limbaugh wants to see Republicans toss out another archaic tradition. Should they do it?

Rush Limbaugh Warns America ‘Headed To Great Depression’ With ‘Democrats Fully On Board’

On Thursday, conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh warned his listeners that the country is headed for another Great Depression if the economy contracts any more due to the COVID-19 crisis shutdowns.

Another Great Depression?

“All we need is a 30 to 40% contraction in this economy,” Limbaugh said. “We’ll hit Great Recession territory first and then depression, if this doesn’t stop… and the idea that there are people advocating for this!”

Rush said this trend toward depression could be reversed, but that “there are forces arrayed against doing that.”

“We know who they are,” Limbaugh said. “We know exactly. We know they’re all Democrats. We know they are some in the health and medical community. The Drive-By Media, the media, and the Democrats are fully on board with the Democrat agenda here … They are hoping that coronavirus accomplishes what Robert Mueller and impeachment, Adam Schiff failed to do.”

Rush said Americans are “doing this to ourselves – and it’s amazing how quickly!”

“Three years to revive an economy, create roaring circumstances,” Limbaugh continued. “It took less than two months to wipe it all out. Twenty-two million people filing for unemployment compensation — 22 million — and the idea that there is not an angry outcry from all over the world that this must stop?
That outcry had better happen, because this…”

‘We could fix at the snap of our fingers’

“We’re beyond now saying this is unsustainable,” Rush warned. “This is untenable! This is cataclysmic! We’re in the midst of a self-created disaster that we could fix (snap, snap, snap) at the snap of our fingers.”

“How in the world can anybody sane want to keep this economy shut down?” Limbaugh asked. “How can anybody sane be anything less than scared and outraged and mortified that 22 million people have been thrown out of work over something that may end up killing fewer than 50,000 people? It is unprecedented! And yet there are people who want to maintain the circumstances we are in. And it boggles the mind.”

‘We cannot go on!’

“It is so counterintuitive to Americanism,” Limbaugh insisted. “We cannot go on!… I can’t believe it has gone on this long! I can’t believe… In one way, I can’t believe the American people haven’t arisen in outrage over this yet.”

In February, Limbaugh was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom during the State of the Union address by President Donald Trump.

Milwaukee Teacher Suspended After Celebrating Rush Limbaugh’s ‘Awesome’ Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis

By PoliZette Staff | February 7, 2020

In the days since conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh announced his diagnosis with stage 4 lung cancer, liberals have shown what little class they really have, as many of them have been celebrating his illness. Now, however, this has come back to bite one of these heartless leftists in a big way.

A teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been placed on leave after social media posts surfaced in which he described Limbaugh’s diagnosis as “awesome,” according to Fox6Now.

Travis Sarandos, an English teacher at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, responded to a tweet in which someone expressed hopes that Limbaugh would recover by writing, “limbaugh absolutely should have to suffer from cancer. it’s awesome that he’s dying, and hopefully it is as quick as it is painful.”

When Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan found the tweet, he demanded that the school take disciplinary action against Sarandos.

“It’s so disappointing, and as far as I’m concerned, he needs to go,” Donovan said. “This kind of hatred has no role to play in people who are teaching our kids. It’s there. It’s out there, and you can’t hide. I just think it’s terrible.”

Donovan also released a lengthy statement in which he explained that Sarandos had previously made anti-Christian comments on his Twitter page.

“Not content to confine his rage to pundits, Mr. Sarandos earlier despaired for our collective future absent the extinction — the extinction, mind you — of Christian conservative voters,” he said. “As a possible remedy to their presence in the voting public he suggested, ‘…maybe we poison the communion wine?'”

A spokesman for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) responded by saying that the district had indeed taken action against Sarandos.

“We are aware of Mr. Sarandos’ actions and can confirm that he was not speaking on behalf of any students or staff of Milwaukee High School of the Arts or Milwaukee Public Schools. The district is following policy and procedures related to personnel matters,” the spokesman said. “Mr. Sarandos has been placed on leave pending further investigation.”

Sarandos, who has suspended his Twitter account in the wake of the scandal, released a brief statement as well.

“I regret the statements,” he said. “It was meant as a joke, but it was in very poor taste. I do not have any further comment.”

It’s absolutely despicable that someone would celebrate the cancer diagnosis of another human being, regardless of their political beliefs. While it’s good that MPS has taken action by suspending Sarandos, they should take this one step further and fire him. Someone with his kind of views has no business shaping the minds of the next generation.

Trump State of the Union Speech a Triumph

By David Kamioner | February 5, 2020

President Donald Trump, riding good news on several fronts, gave a masterful performance in front of both houses of Congress and other luminaries Tuesday night during his State of the Union address. He hit all the right notes of policy and emotion and was received well regardless of small Democratic attempts to disrupt his presentation.

He ignored impeachment and focused on his past policy achievements and plans for his next term in office.

His comms staff made sure the speech contained the kind of moments and lines that would force the Democrats to respond positively or look like partisan hacks. Most of them took the bait and stood and clapped on numerous occasions, especially the telegenic Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona.

Trump was not daunted by the tired trope of unintelligibly shouting and chanting hard left Democratic female House members all dressed in white. Nor was his game affected by the sad little stunts House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to pull off to distract the camera.

High points of the evening were comprised of the president’s recognition of audience members such as legitimate Venezuelan President Juan Guaido, Tuskegee Airman USAF Brigadier General Charles McGee, Philadelphia student Janiyah Davis and her mother, and Afghanistan hero U.S. Army SFC Townsend Williams. Williams was reunited with his wife and children, who were in attendance, during the event.

Another powerful moment was the awarding of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award, to conservative media titan Rush Limbaugh. After the president recognized Limbaugh for his talent and devotion to American values, the First Lady presented the award to the talk show host as he stood there in the audience.

The ailing Limbaugh, who was just diagnosed with advanced fourth stage lung cancer, was visibly moved by the medal and the standing ovation he received by many members of Congress and other leaders.

Other notable aspects included the presence of Brexit leader Nigel Farage, the wry smile of satisfaction between Trump-appointed Supreme Court justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, and the impotent ripping up of the president’s speech by Nancy Pelosi after the SOTU had finished.

The Democrats were once a great political party. They are now reduced to a socialist mob, ripping up sheets of paper after a speech as a forlorn gesture of opposition, such is what the president has done to them.

That, along with the booming economy and the resurgent U.S. posture around the around, may be President Trump’s greatest accomplishment.

Rush Limbaugh Touts Polls Showing Trump Surging Since Dems Began Impeachment

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh shared several polls showing President Donald Trump surging since Democrats began their push for impeachment.

“Schiff had all the witnesses, and they don’t have any facts,” he explained. “It’s been going on since October.”

And it’s only making life harder on their party in the upcoming election …

“In an ABC News/Washington Post poll, Trump has surged by double digits in head-to-head matchups against his competitors,” Limbaugh relayed.

“Against the four most likely winners of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, in October Trump was down 56 to 39 against [Biden],” he continued. “As of now, the gap has closed 13 points. Trump is down four points to [Biden], 50 to 46.”

Limbaugh further noted that the polls show Trump closing the gap between him and “crazy Bernie [Sanders]” – from 14 points to just two.

A Record Obama Would Envy

Limbaugh expanded on the matter, touting a recent Gallup poll, as covered here at The Political Insider, which indicates satisfaction with race relations and the position of minorities in America have significantly increased since President Trump took office.

Gallup discovered a trend demonstrating double-digit improvements in several categories – including how Americans view the nation’s economy, security from terrorism, military strength and the state of race relations in our country.

The position of blacks and other racial minorities in the nation also rose 9 percent since Trump’s first day in office.

The President is making headway with minorities, something that could seal his victory in 2020.

Gallup reveals that in general, Americans haven’t been this satisfied with the direction of the country in nearly 15 years.

The survey finds that Americans are overwhelmingly more satisfied with the state of the country than they were in the final days of the Obama-Biden presidency:

  • 68% of Americans are satisfied with the U.S. economy, up 22 points since Trump took office.
  • 68% of Americans are satisfied with the nation’s security from terrorism, up 18 points since Trump took office.
  • 81% of Americans are satisfied with the nation’s military strength and preparedness, up 15 points since Trump took office.

Race Relations

Limbaugh explained exactly why race relations actually deteriorated under Obama, America’s first black President.

“No criticism of the president was going to be permitted. Even warranted policy criticism would not be permitted because it was going to be called racist,” Limbaugh elucidated. “So race relations got far more friction with Obama in the White House.”

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has, in the past, concurred that any media narrative that race relations are actually worse under President Trump than they were in the past is ridiculous.

“It sure doesn’t feel worse than when I grew up in Jim Crow Alabama. So let’s drop this notion that we’re worse race relations today than we were in the past,” Rice asserted in an interview with NBC’s ‘Today’ show.

Polling at the time of Obama’s election showed just how the former President was given a lot of credit to work with when it came to race relations and how he utterly squandered it by the time he left office.

One such survey a month prior to the 2016 election showed a majority of Americans believed race relations had worsened under Obama. 54% said the divide had grown worse, while a very low 16% said it had gotten better.

By contrast, in May of 2009, mere months into Obama’s first term, 32% of all Americans believed race relations had improved, while only 6% said they had gotten worse.

That is a massive 64-point turnaround. Obama took the racial harmony that led to his historic election and turned it into a wedge that divided the entire nation.

Just another mess President Trump is cleaning up to keep America great.

Limbaugh: Trump Gives One Of Best Speeches Of His Presidency As Impeachment Trial Begins

As the Senate impeachment trial began on Tuesday, its target, President Donald Trump was in Davos, Switzerland, where he delivered what conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh called “one of his finest speeches of his entire administration.”

“The president in Davos today is speaking for America,” Limbaugh told his listeners. “The president in Davos today is speaking for the future of America. It isn’t today’s Democrats. It isn’t today’s leftists. It’s the president. He was on fire, and it may be one of his finest speeches of his entire administration.”

Rush Praises Trump

Limbaugh said the President eloquently pushed back against the liberal notion that somehow “America is the problem in the world.”

“This is exactly what bothers him,” Rush said. “It’s bothered him for a long time as a citizen like it’s bothered me, like it’s bothered you, this view of America that has been adopted by the Washington establishment — by our civil service corps, the ambassador corps — that somehow we’re the problem, that we are the destabilizing agent in the world, and it’s a bunch … It’s a crock.”

RELATED: Rush Limbaugh: It’s Hillary That Needs to Be Indicted

“[T]hey love him in Davos, and you know why?” said Limbaugh. “‘Cause he’s been right … [T]he guys that own the yachts are there, and Trump has been going, and he’s telling them two years ago what he was gonna do. He’s telling them two years ago what can be possible.”

Limbaugh said it was these same elites who “fall prey to all of this liberal thinking and the conventional wisdom — and they fall prey to it because it’s so dominant everywhere,” and yet Trump went to Davos to blow up that establishment orthodoxy.

“Trump stands alone, tells them, ‘No. It’s wrong. America’s gonna be great. We’re coming back; let me tell you how we’re gonna do it,’ and he’s done it,” said Rush. “They love the guy in Davos now because he’s been right about it, and it’s all been beneficial to them — and it’s not just individual wealthy people I’m talking about. Its governments and a number of institutions which have been sucked in. I mean, if the United States elects a guy like Obama then the world thinks, ‘Wow. The United States wants to go socialist. We’d better go socialist. We’ve gotta stay friends with the U.S.,’ and even if they think it’s the wrong thing to do, they did it because they’re afraid of being shut out by the U.S.”

Trump: ‘America is winning again like never before’

Limbaugh then played a clip of President Trump’s speech to drive home his point.

Trump said, “When I spoke at this forum two years ago, I told you that we had launched the great American comeback. Today, I’m proud to declare that the United States in the midst of an economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen before. America’s thriving, America’s flourishing — and, yes, America is winning again like never before.”

“Just last week alone, the United States concluded two extraordinary trade deals, the agreement with China and the United States-Mexico-Canada agreement, the two biggest trade deals ever made,” Trump said. “These agreements represent a new model of trade for the twenty-first century — agreements that are fair, reciprocal, and that prioritize the needs of workers and families.”

“America’s economic turnaround has been nothing short of spectacular,” Trump continued. “When I took office three years ago, America’s economy was in a rather dismal state. The experts predicted a decade of very, very slow growth — or maybe even negative growth — high unemployment and a dwindling workforce and very much a shrinking middle class.”

“Millions of hardworking, ordinary citizens felt neglected, betrayed, forgotten.” Trump added. “They were rapidly losing faith in the system.”

“Exactly!” Limbaugh exclaimed, continuing to applaud Trump’s speech. “What were they being told? ‘America’s best days are behind us. America’s best days may not have been legitimate. We’re in a new era of decline mandated by world conditions. The United States finally must pay the price for all of its sins that it has committed that led to its superpower status.’ Yada yada yada. Obama’s crowd said, ‘We’re the ones to manage the decline so the pain will be as limited as possible on you.’”

‘It isn’t necessary to see the world this way’

“That’s just three years ago that Trump came along and said, ‘This is not necessary! It’s not necessary to see the country this way.”

“It isn’t necessary to see the world this way,” Limbaugh emphasized.

So while Democrats focus on trying to tear our country apart with their impeachment sideshow, Rush Limbaugh says Donald Trump just showed the world how he is actually making America great again.

Given this contrast, which party do you think might look most attractive to American voters in November?
