Karl Rove Warns Trump Will Be Convicted In The Senate If He Continues To Claim Election Fraud

Republican strategist Karl Rove spoke out over the weekend to warn that Donald Trump will be convicted in the Senate by a bipartisan vote if he continues to claim that election fraud took place.

Chris Wallace Questions Karl Rove

“Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell says that he is keeping an open mind about the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump, a big difference, sharp difference, from his clear opposition from the very start of the first impeachment trial just a year ago,” said Fox News host Chris Wallace.

“What do you think, Karl, are the chances that 17 Senate Republicans, and that’s what it would take if all of the Democrats vote for conviction, 17 Senate Republicans would vote to convict Donald Trump and to keep them from running again?” he added.

Rove Issues Warning

“Normally we say not much chance, but I think Leader McConnell’s statement is a sign that every Republican Senator needs to take this seriously,” Rove replied. “I think it’s all going to boil down what’s the president’s defense.”

“Rudy Giuliani charted a very bad course for the president in the morning papers when he suggested that the argument was going to be in there couldn’t have been incitement because all the charges of widespread voter fraud are true,” he added.

“Well, those charges and the so-called experts that the campaign has mustered to advocate them have been rejected by over 50 courts with judges appointed by President Trump, President Obama, Present Bush, President Clinton, and I think even one Reagan justice,” Rove continued.

Rove Doubles Down

“So if it’s the Rudy Giuliani defense, there is a strong likelihood that more than 17 Republicans will because essentially that argument is this was justified, the attack on the Capital and the attempt to end the congressional hearing on certifying the election was justified because all these charges are true and frankly they aren’t.”

“They have been given every opportunity to prove them in a court of law and have failed to do so,” Rove concluded. “I think it really boils down to what’s the defense that the president is going to make, and if it is Rudy Giuliani’s defense, I think it raises the likelihood of more than 17 Republicans voting for conviction.”

Trump was impeached for a second time last week by the House, and a Senate impeachment trial is expected to take place after the inauguration of Joe Biden later this week.

Watch right winger give out offer code for MyPillow during ‘StopTheSteal’ rally in Washington, D.C.

The Trump administration is a swamp. The great con that Trump was able to to perpetrate on the Americans who voted for him was that his political outsider credentials—which were and remain real—would allow him to clean up the big money corruption developed and fostered predominantly by the Republican Party in Washington, D.C. The reality has been that not only has Trump further swampified the government, he’s also brought in new con men and women into the government—or more realistically, brought around the government to leech off of. These are people like Mike Lindell and David Harris. Lindell you might remember as the MyPillow guy who sort of makes up a lot of right-wing media advertising dollars. He’s a shameless mad hatter pushing unproven COVID-19 remedies and alien-level conspiracy theories about the election.

David Harris is a lesser known former vitamin huckster who rebranded himself as a Black conservative and received a big boost from Trump in popularity. His angle is that he’s conservative and he’s Black and there’s a financial niche market to be found in super racist right-wing circles if you can serve the purpose of making right-wingers feel less racist than they are. Harris was highlighted as one of the top “superspreaders” of Trump’s false election misinformation by The New York Times in the weeks after Election Day. On Sunday, Harris was in Washington, D.C. for one of the “Stop The Steal” Trump rallies of people trying to overthrow the U.S. government. He spoke on stage in front of others, like the Mike “MyPillow” Lindell. It turns out that before Harris went into his speech, which mostly consisted of a long-winded recitation of a Bible passage, he had some shilling to do.

One of the people helping to fund these rallies is Lindell, and Harris wanted to make sure the audience gave Lindell the applause and recognition he deserves; being a scumbag who wants to overthrow the government takes money and time and conning. Before Lindell went up to bluster away relatively incoherently about how all of the Biden votes are proof that Donald Trump has more votes (yes, that was the basic statement by MyPillow man on Sunday), Harris had some business to do for what we call in the entertainment business the money.:

DAVID HARRIS: A special thank you to the cosponsor that really helped fund a lot of this. Mr. MyPillow himself, Mike Lindell! Amazing patriot, loves this country, loves us, loves the president, and the president loves him. And I gotta tell you I love his codes, right? I love his pillows, I love his sheets, I love his mattress topper, and I love his codes because you know what, the Kraken has been released. You are a part of the Kraken. So for the best deals to support this patriot, use the code “Kraken” at mypillow.com. He does not talk about a lot of what goes through behind the scenes, but he goes through a lot of hell for standing up for us.

It’s very important to note here how Harris began by saying, “And I gotta tell you I love his codes, right?” before remembering that he needed to do the whole make sure to mention the things Lindell sells (i.e., sheets and bed toppers), and then mention the codes. It’s one of the things you learn doing live readings for ads. There are a few things you need to hit and if you nail it, you make it seem like you aren’t doing an ad. Usually you just have to remember to mention all of the things in the right order. Harris does a fine job selling that MyPillow merch. We are just weeks away from their discount promotional codes going from “Kraken” to things like “IAMASucker” and “PleaseTakeMyMoney.”

After the day’s events, Proud Boys and other racists from the day’s “peaceful protests” went on to enact seemingly state-sanctioned violence against Americans who are interested in protecting our democracy from ethno-state insurgents and domestic terrorists like Trump and friends.

Report: New York Prosecutors Investigating Trump For Fraud Over Tax Write-Offs

According to the New York Times, prosecutors from both the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and the New York Attorney General’s office are investigating possible tax fraud by President Donald Trump.

Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance and New York AG Letitia James reportedly have investigators probing millions of dollars in tax write-offs that President Trump allegedly used tied to consulting fees paid to Ivanka Trump, his daughter.

Trump Org: ‘Just The Latest Fishing Expedition’

The Trump Organization has been subpoenaed by city and state prosecutors for the tax records related to the fees.

The Times notes that Ivanka Trump is not a focus of the investigations.

According to the Times. “Mr. Trump reduced his taxable income by deducting about $26 million in fees to unidentified consultants as a business expense on numerous projects between 2010 and 2018.”

The Times also reported that Ms. Trump received some of those fees.

“On a 2017 disclosure she filed when joining the White House as a presidential adviser, she reported receiving payments from a consulting company she co-owned, totaling $747,622, that exactly matched consulting fees claimed as tax deductions by the Trump Organization for hotel projects in Hawaii and Vancouver, British Columbia,” reported the Times.

Alan Garten, the Trump Organization’s general counsel, told the Times, “This is just the latest fishing expedition in an ongoing attempt to harass the company.”

“Everything was done in strict compliance with applicable law and under the advice of counsel and tax experts,” Garten added.

How many ways are they going to find to come after this president?

The move comes as multiple Democrat Congressmen have called to “prosecute” Trump for unspecified crimes.

Ivanka Trump: ‘This Is Harassment Pure And Simple’

The Democrats’ impeachment debacle was apparently just the tip of the iceberg, as even in the midst of a contentious election, state authorities are trying to drum up crimes related to President Trump’s daughter.

This is a pattern – the treatment of President Trump and his family since before he even stepped into the Oval Office.

Ivanka Trump responded to the reports late Thursday.

“This is harassment pure and simple,” Ms. Trump tweeted. “This ‘inquiry’ by NYC democrats is 100% motivated by politics, publicity and rage.”

She continued, “They know very well that there’s nothing here and that there was no tax benefit whatsoever.”

“These politicians are simply ruthless,” she finished.

Right-wing fraudsters attorney says they want Alan Dershowitz to testify at robocall trial

American scumbags Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman have been charged with at least four felony counts connected to voter-suppressing, misinforming robocalls in Michigan that targeted “urban” areas in the weeks preceding this election. No, this isn’t connected to the time Wohl and Burkman attempted to trump up fake sexual assault charges against Dr. Anthony Fauci. No, this isn’t the time Wohl and Burkman attempted to create fake sexual intrigue allegations against Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

On Monday, Burkman and Wohl were back in virtual court where Burkman’s lawyers Scott Grabel and William Amadeo of Grabel & Associates made this amazing revelation: he has been “consulting with someone.” In fact, he has been consulting with some who “is working with the president right now on this election fraud situation.” It turns out that this person he is consulting with and who he hopes will be an expert witness on constitutional law, “teaches at Harvard Law School...”

In this clip below, Burkman’s attorney Scott Grabel claims he has “spoken” to Alan Dershowitz by “email” and is not sure whether or not he will be able to be “retained,” but is hoping to have a place for him to speak on, once again, “constitutional law.” This is the same Alan Dershowitz whose shining catastrophic moment, the one that will likely be remembered in law history for centuries to come, was the singularly most convoluted, intellectually dishonest, and vapid attempt at arguing that Donald Trump couldn’t be impeached due to an abuse of power, while then arguing he didn’t say he said that, but that if he had said it it would be true, but it isn’t, so don’t say he said that.

Daily Dot’s Zachary Petrizzo reported that Michigan Attorney General lawyer Richard Cunningham strongly opposed the motion to have a constitutional witness, before the bizarre Dershowitz revelation, because “An attorney’s role is to argue the law, it is not to testify as to what the law is.”

Burkman’s lawyer is consulting with famously unscrupulous, self-aggrandizing, there is no law unless I say it’s a law, Alan Dershowitz. This is about a series of robocalls, received in various states, targeting predominantly Black and brown communities across the country, that attempted to scare potential voters away from early voting, by lying about how early voter rolls would be used to imprison people based on outstanding debts or warrants.

Law & Crime reports that Dershowitz has told them that he is “not involved in that case,” referring to Burkman’s robocall fraud. Dershowitz also says that he is not involved at all with Trump election lawsuits. Burkman’s attorney, Grabel told Law & Order that “If Mr. Dershowitz isn’t working on ‘election issues’ I stand corrected.”

Real scumbag shit. Makes sense that Dershowitz is involved—even tangentially. George Bernard Shaw once wrote that one should “Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.” In this case, everyone involved might like it. No bad press and all of that. Only the best people.

Mitt Romney: Mail Voting ‘Works Very, Very Well’ In Utah

Mitt Romney has defended voting by mail, saying that in Utah, the system “works very, very well,” defending recent criticisms of it by the President.

Trump: “Sorry, You Must Not Cheat In Elections”

President Donald Trump has recently slammed vote-by-mail initiatives, noting that it leads to large amounts of voter fraud, writing a number of tweets criticizing Nevada and Michigan specifically for their recent actions of pushing it.

State of Nevada ‘thinks’ that they can send out illegal vote by mail ballots, creating a great Voter Fraud scenario for the State and the U.S,” the President tweeted. “They can’t! If they do, ‘I think’ I can hold up funds to the State. Sorry, but you must not cheat in elections.”

“Michigan sends absentee ballot applications to 7.7 million people ahead of Primaries and the General Election,” the President said in a second tweet. “This was done illegally and without authorization by a rogue Secretary of State. I will ask to hold up funding to Michigan if they want to go down this Voter Fraud path.”

Why Does Romney Want This System?

Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Mitt Romney responded to the President’s recent comments, and defended voting by mail.

“In my state, I’ll bet 90% of us vote by mail. It works very very well and it’s a very Republican state,” he said in comments reported by ABC.

Why is Romney backing a system that is one of the most susceptible systems to voter fraud that exist? As a Brit, I know the problems with it. Pretty much all British electoral fraud comes from our postal votes system. Not only does it potentially give access to your vote to others in your household, which removes the anonymity of the secret ballot and can lead to pressuring to vote a certain way, but anyone working in the postal system also has access to your ballot when it’s on the way to be counted.

Personally, I can’t see any reason why Romney wants vote by mail to go through other than to help Joe Biden get into office. He voted to remove President Trump in his impeachment trial, but that failed, so this is therefore the next best thing!
