Liz Cheney Floats Conspiracy Theory That Trump Will ‘Unravel The Democracy To Come Back Into Power’

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has created a new position for herself, along with a new conspiracy theory about Donald Trump.

Cheney, who was voted out of her leadership position as GOP Conference Chair by a voice vote meeting on Wednesday, told NBC News about her new leadership role: “I intend to be the leader, one of the leaders, in a fight to help to restore our party.”

She added a new wrinkle in the form a conspiracy theory, saying that former President Donald Trump is willing “to unravel the democracy to come back into power.”

Cheney has criticized Trump continually the last few months, saying she believes that the continuing influence Trump has within the GOP is “very dangerous” and “a cult of personality.”

Cheney Too Divisive For Leadership Role

Cheney’s ouster from GOP leadership stems from her constant attacks on the popular Trump. During her interview with NBC, Cheney said that, “silence is not an option.” She continued,

“For reasons that I don’t understand, leaders in my party have decided to embrace the former President who launched that attack. And I think you’ve watched over the course of the last several months, the former President get more aggressive, more vocal, pushing the lie, and I think that’s a really important thing for people to understand. This isn’t about looking backwards. This is about the real-time current potential damage that he’s doing, that he continues to do.”

Cheney also added, “He’s unfit. He never again can be anywhere close to the Oval Office.”

Cheney also had words for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, saying that she believes that he is “not leading with principle, and I think that is sad and I think it’s dangerous.”

Trump support aside, the main focus inside the GOP right now are the 2022 midterm elections, and winning back the House and Senate.

Republicans clearly felt that Cheney attacking the most popular Republican, Trump, was becoming a distraction to that goal.

That point was somewhat reiterated by Chairman of the Republican Study Committee Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN). “We are unified behind a single mission of winning back the majority and it was clear from the way that the vote occurred that 99% of our members are focused on that, so it’s time to move on.”

Cheney Is Not Alone In Her Opposition To Trump

Liz Cheney is not alone in her belief that Donald Trump is the death knell for the Republican Party.

A recent report from Reuters says that more than 100 former Republican officials are threatening to start a third party if the GOP does not see the error of its ways and break ties with Trump.

The group, “A Call for American Renewal,” is made up of former Bush White House Officials, Members of Congress, and others known for their never-Trumper stances.

Cheney is also not the only House member who voted to impeach Trump that will have a primary challenge in 2022. Of the ten members that voted to impeach, five have have challengers

However, others who have criticized Trump in the past were silent on the removal of Cheney. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had no comment for reporters when asked about Cheney, and did not say anything on the Senate floor Wednesday morning.

Utah Senator Mitt Romney, also a fierce critic of Trump tweeted Wednesday morning, “Expelling Liz Cheney from leadership won’t gain the GOP one additional voter, but it will cost us quite a few.”

RELATED: Senator Mike Lee: Gas Prices, Inflation Due To ‘Excessive Government Spending’

What’s Next For Liz Cheney?

Even with two challengers for her seat next year, Cheney says she fully intends to run for re-election in 2022. She also told NBC News that a presidential run of her own was not out of the question.

Until then, she says she is, “very focused on making sure that our party becomes again, a party that stands for truth, and stands for fundamental principles that are conservative. And mostly stands for the Constitution and I won’t let the former President or anybody else unravel the democracy. Whatever it takes.”

But is Liz Cheney missing the direction the Republican Party is taking, based on what the voters said they wanted by voting for Donald Trump and continuing to support him? It is certainly making her the media’s new best friend.

Have the folks in Wyoming and the rest of the nation said loudly enough that they are tired of the go-along-to-get-along attitude of old school Republicans who are viewed as caving in to Democrats, and are looking for people with new blood and a fire in the belly?

Liz Cheney may have won the battle by being the one currently in office, but Donald Trump may win the war.

GOP Rep. Cassidy Declares Trump Won’t Be Republican Nominee In 2024

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) went on Fox News Radio on Wednesday to respond to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) being ousted as chairwoman of the House Republican Conference over her opposition to former President Donald Trump.

Cassidy, who voted in favor of impeaching Trump earlier this year, declared in this interview that Trump would not be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

Cassidy Sounds Off

“We absolutely feel like we need a Republican Party which is committed to conservative values that will bring it forward,” Cassidy said. “As regards the president … returning to power, he lost. We lost the House. We lost the Senate. We lost the presidency and four years. Hasn’t happened since Herbert Hoover.”

“Parties and elections are about winning,” he added. “So, if you just want to brass tax it, we need to win. We can see that voters in swing districts did not swing for the Republican Party — they swang away. I supported the president’s policies. I was all on board — one of the senators that voted with him the most often — but parties are about winning, and unfortunately, over the last four years, we had a track record of losing. We need to win going forward.”

‘Republicans Are About Winning’

“Republicans are about winning,” he continued. “If we’re going to win, we can’t say, ‘Oh my gosh, we got more votes than anybody else in Republican history,’ but 7 million left to the Democrat. You know, that 7 million is the difference between Biden’s policies and our policies. We’ve got to be 7 million ahead, not 7 million behind.”

When asked if he would vote for Trump if he is the nominee, Cassidy responded, “He’s not going to be our nominee.”

Cheney slammed former President Donald Trump both before and after the vote to oust her.

“We must be true to our principles and to the Constitution,” Cheney told fellow House Republicans before the closed-door vote, according to the Today Show. “We cannot let the former president drag us backward and make us complicit in his efforts to unravel our democracy. Down that path lies our destruction and potentially the destruction of our country.”

After the vote, she added that if Trump decides to run again in 2024, “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”

Lindsey Graham Warns Anti-Trump Republicans They’re Going To Wind Up ‘Getting Erased’

Senator Lindsey Graham said it’s impossible for the GOP to move forward without Donald Trump as its leader, warning that those trying to “erase” the party of the former President might themselves be “getting erased.”

Graham’s comments came just before House Republicans voted on Wednesday to remove Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from leadership for lack of party unity and consistent attacks on Trump and his supporters.

The South Carolina Republican spoke earlier this week with Fox News host Sean Hannity regarding the future of the party.

“It’s impossible for this party to move forward without President Trump being its leader, because the people who are conservatives have chosen him as their leader,” Graham stated. “And you know why they chose him? Because he delivered.”

He then began listing off several conservative victories under the Trump administration – including national security, border security, tax cuts, and pride in America.

RELATED: Mitt Romney Claims That Removing Liz Cheney From Leadership Will Cost Republicans ‘Quite A Few’ Votes

Graham: Anti-Trump Republicans Are Going to End Up Getting Erased

Senator Lindsey Graham also issued an ominous warning against anti-Trump Republicans like Liz Cheney, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT), and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

“The most popular Republican in America—it’s not Lindsey Graham, is not Liz Cheney, it’s Donald Trump,” he told Hannity.

“To try to erase Donald Trump from the Republican party is insane,” he added. “And the people who try to erase him are going to wind up getting erased.”

Graham went on to say that conservatives are disappointed that he lost the election because they “believe that Trump’s policies worked.”

Cheney Ousted From GOP Leadership

Graham specifically commented on the embattled Representative Cheney whose leadership role was terminated on Wednesday.

Cheney was removed for her unwillingness to unite the party and instead attack Trump at every turn.

“I’ve always liked Liz Cheney but she’s made a determination that the Republican Party can’t grow with President Trump,” he said. “I’ve determined we can’t grow without him.”

Cheney has refused to unite a Republican party that includes Trump supporters. Instead, she insults them.

She has accused Trump voters of believing “the big lie” that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, has gone after colleagues in her own party who supported the former President, and vowed to campaign on impeaching him “every day of the week.”

In an op-ed for the Washington Post last week, Cheney encouraged Republicans not to embrace Trump’s “cult of personality.”

That is not somebody who belongs in a leadership role.

Romney, as you might imagine, disagrees.

“Every person of conscience draws a line beyond which they will not go: Liz Cheney refuses to lie,” he asserted.

“As one of my Republican Senate colleagues said to me following my impeachment vote: ‘I wouldn’t want to be a member of a group that punished someone for following their conscience.'”

Trump issued a statement referring to Cheney as a “big-shot warmonger” and Romney as a “stone-cold loser.”

GOP Rep: Stefanik Too Liberal To Replace Cheney, Urges GOP To Choose A Conservative

With the vote to oust Congresswoman Liz Cheney from House Republican leadership looming, one conservative House Freedom Caucus member circulated a memo to every GOP office claiming that her presumed successor, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik isn’t much different from a Democrat.

On Tuesday, Congressman Chip Roy sent a memo asking the House Republican conference to reconsider Stefanik, citing her voting record, and encouraging Republicans to choose someone more conservative.

Republican Roy Rejects Stefanik: ‘Choose Someone Who Reflects Our Conservative Values’

In his memo, Roy argues that Stefanik voted against Trump’s agenda often, siding with Democrats.

Roy asked House Republicans to instead, “choose someone who reflects our conservative values.”

“We must avoid putting in charge Republicans who campaign as Republicans but then vote for and advance the Democrats’ agenda once sworn in,” Roy wrote to his fellow GOP members.

“Therefore, with all due respect to my friend, Elise Stefanik, let us contemplate the message Republican leadership is about to send by rushing to coronate a spokesperson whose voting record embodies much of what led to the 2018 ass-kicking we received by Democrats,” Roy added.

Other Conservatives Not Happy With Stefanik Succeeding Cheney

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced on Monday that the secret ballot vote to oust Cheney from her leadership position will happen on Wednesday.

Cheney has drawn heat from Republicans for not only voting to impeach former President Donald Trump on the second impeachment vote, but for continuing to attack him in op-eds and during interviews.

McCarthy and other leaders believe Cheney has become too much of a distraction away from what the party should focused on: Winning more House seats for Republicans in 2022.

Roy is not the only conservative to complain about Stefanik’s lack of a conservative voting record.

The conservative Club for Growth said, “Elise Stefanik is NOT a good spokesperson for the House Republican Conference.”

“She is a liberal with a 35% CFGF lifetime rating, 4th worst in the House GOP. House Republicans should find a conservative to lead messaging and win back the House Majority.”

RELATED: OJ Simpson Defends Liz Cheney – Says She’s ‘Standing Up For The Truth’

Stefanik Has The Backing Of Republican Leadership And Trump

Roy’s memo to House Republicans highlighted several problematic Stefanik votes for conservatives, including her opposition to a border wall.

“The forgotten men and women of this country simply want us to stand up for them,” Roy wrote. “Please tell me how we are sending a message today that we are standing up for them with a leadership-tapped colleague with that record as our spokesperson?”

Roy said that if the GOP strays from Trump’s America First Agenda it could hurt the party at the ballot box.

Trump and McCarthy, along with GOP Minority Whip Steve Scalise have all endorsed Stefanik.

Mitt Romney Claims That Removing Liz Cheney From Leadership Will Cost Republicans ‘Quite A Few’ Votes

On Monday, Sen. Mitt Romney claimed that removing the embattled anti-Trump Wyoming Republican Liz Cheney as House Republican Conference chair will hurt Republicans in upcoming elections.

Romney wrote on Twitter, “Expelling Liz Cheney from leadership won’t gain the GOP one additional voter, but it will cost us quite a few.”

Sen. Romney: ‘Liz Cheney Refuses To Lie’

These comments from the Utah Republican come in the wake of Romney recently praising Cheney.

“Every person of conscience draws a line beyond which they will not go: Liz Cheney refuses to lie,” Romney tweeted.

The senator added, “As one of my Republican Senate colleagues said to me following my impeachment vote: ‘I wouldn’t want to be a member of a group that punished someone for following their conscience.”

Vote To Remove Cheney Scheduled For Wednesday

Cheney is in hot water with her party for voting to impeach Donald Trump and continuing to publicly attack the former president, who is very popular with Republican voters.

Mrs. Cheney drew heat last Monday when she said that anyone who claims the 2020 presidential election was  “poisoning our democratic system.”

Cheney added, in an obvious rebuke to Trump,  “The 2020 presidential election was not stolen.”

She continued, “Anyone who claims it was is spreading THE BIG LIE, turning their back on the rule of law, and poisoning our democratic system.”

As Republicans hope to pick up House seats in 2022, leadership now believes that Cheney has become too much of a distraction and a liability.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) have now both announced they plan to support Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) to replace Cheney as House Republican Conference chair.

A vote on this is scheduled to take place Wednesday.

McCarthy said on Fox News on Sunday, “To defeat Nancy Pelosi and the socialist agenda, we need to be united, and that starts with leadership. That’s why we will have a vote next week, and we want to be united and looking moving forward. I think that’s what will take place.”

McCarthy: ‘What We Are Talking About, It’s A Position In leadership’

“Any member can take whatever position they believe in.,” McCarthy continued. “That’s what the voters vote on the individuals, and they make that decision.”

“What we are talking about, it’s a position in leadership,” McCarthy observed.

“We are in one of our biggest battles ever for this nation and the direction of whether this century will be ours,” he finished. “As conference chair, you have the most critical jobs of the messenger going forward.”

Utah Republicans Censure Mitt Romney One Week After Booing Him At State GOP Convention

The Republican Party in Weber County, Utah, issued a formal censure of Senator Mitt Romney for his multiple votes to convict former President Donald Trump during his impeachment trials.

The move comes a little over a week after Romney was booed vociferously at the Utah Republican Party’s organizing convention.

“The Weber County Republican Convention censures Mitt Romney for his votes to convict President Trump in two U.S. Senate impeachment trials,” the censure reads.

The censure resolutions claims both impeachment efforts “denied the President due process, allowed falsified evidence, did not provide adequate time for an investigation, and did not follow the U.S. Constitution…”

The censure resolution was passed by a vote of 116-97.

Mitt Romney Censure Vote Fails

The successful vote to censure Mitt Romney comes after a similar effort fell short at the Utah state GOP convention on May 1st.

That vote failed by a tally of 798-711.

What the Utah Republican convention did succeed in doing, however, was making headlines by reigning boos down on the anti-Trump senator as he attempted to speak.

“I don’t hide the fact that I wasn’t a fan of our last president’s character issues,” Romney told the crowd as the booing grew ever louder.

“Aren’t you embarrassed?” he asked the Trump supporters.

Trump: He’s A ‘Stone-Cold Loser’

Trump could hardly contain his excitement when seeing that Romney had been shouted down at the Utah Republican convention.

He issued a statement about the incident shortly thereafter.

“So nice to see RINO Mitt Romney booed off the stage at the Utah Republican State Convention,” Trump said.

“They are among the earliest to have figured this guy out, a stone-cold loser!” he added.

ABC 4 reports that nearly 600 Weber County Republican delegates attended the Utah convention, both in-person or online.

Weber County GOP Chairman Jake Sawyer believes the vote to censure was “respectful.”

“From the top down, we need to be able to voice our opinions agree with each other, and still come up with a solution at the end of the day,” said Sawyer.

He did admit that the vote is little more than symbolic.

Weber County becomes the second to pass a censure resolution against Romney in Utah, joining Washington County in April.

The news for the Senate Republican hasn’t been all bad since he joined Democrats in trying to impeach Trump on frivolous charges.

He was awarded the Profile in Courage Award by the John F. Kennedy Library for his “historic vote” to impeach Trump during his first trial.

“He reminds us that our Democracy depends on the courage, conscience and character of our elected officials,” Caroline Kennedy, former Ambassador and daughter of President Kennedy, said in a statement.

Shortly after the election, conservative actor Scott Baio threatened to move to Utah and run against Mitt Romney in an effort to unseat the Republican senator.

For Donald Trump, Defeating ‘NeverTrumper’ Liz Cheney Is Top Priority For 2022

Making sure that anti-Trump Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney is defeated in her 2022 midterm primary election is a top goal for Donald Trump, according to a spokesman for the former president.

In an interview published on Saturday, Trump spokesman Jason Miller told the Washington Post that Trump’s political advisers have been calling Wyoming officials to discuss potential primary challengers to Cheney.

RELATED: DeSantis Tells Unemployed Floridians To Look For Jobs, Unemployment Benefits Supposed To Be Temporary

Trump Committed To Seeing Cheney Defeated In 2022

Miller said that for Team Trump, unseating Cheney was “one of the highest priorities as far as primary endorsements go.”

Trump met with advisers in Florida as recently as Monday to begin analyzing 2022 campaign endorsements, according to sources close with the former president.

According to those sources, Trump wants to support a single candidate against Cheney. He does not want to divide the vote, knowing multiple challengers would make it easier for Cheney to retain her seat.

Cheney is already in hot water back home in Wyoming for her vote to impeach Trump.

She has already drawn primary challengers and was censured by County Republican parties in Wyoming for her impeachment vote.

This news comes in the wake of it being all but certain that Republicans will vote to remove Cheney from her role as House Republican Conference chairwoman this week.

Trump and other Republican leaders have endorsed Rep. Elise Stefanik to replace Cheney in Republican leadership.

Trump: Cheney Is A ‘Warmongering Fool’

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy have signaled that they will support removing Cheney from her post.

Scalise and McCarthy had previously defended Cheney as she faced attacks for her vote to impeach Trump earlier this year over his alleged role in the attack on the Capitol on January 6.

Cheney has been a fierce critic of Trump, claiming that the former president’s efforts questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election have been damaging to the Republican Party and the country.

In response, Trump called Cheney a “warmongering fool” in a statement.

RELATED: Mika Brzezinski Claims Texas GOP Pushing ‘Big Lie’ With Election Law – ‘Could Destabilize This Country’ For Years To Come

Trump also claimed Cheney “has virtually no support left in the Great State of Wyoming” and “continues to unknowingly and foolishly say that there was no Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election when in fact, the evidence, including no Legislative approvals as demanded by the U.S. Constitution, shows the exact opposite.”

Cheney responded to Trump in an op-ed for the Washington Post on Wednesday, writing “Trump is seeking to unravel critical elements of our constitutional structure that make democracy work — confidence in the result of elections and the rule of law.”

Cheney encouraged Republicans to avoid Trump’s “cult of personality.”

Liz Cheney Auditions For Her Next Gig

Many in the mainstream media believe that Rep. Liz Cheney’s problems began when she joined Democrats in voting to impeach President Donald J. Trump after January 6.

They paint Cheney as the victim, bravely speaking out about “the big lie” and say she is being targeted solely because of her opposition to Trump after January 6. This is, of course, a lie.

Back in July of last year, long before the election or the events of January 6, conservatives – myself included – were urging that Cheney be removed from House GOP leadership.

RELATED: Cheney Says She Will Keep Being Outspoken Against ‘Dangerous’ Trump ‘Cult Of Personality’

After Cheney backed a challenger to Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), pushed a now debunked hoax about Trump having knowledge of Russian bounties being paid to the Taliban for killing Americans, and after Cheney joined with Democrats to attempt to stop President Trump from brining troops home from Afghanistan, I wrote:

Liz Cheney is not just another House member, however, she chose to run for leadership and currently serves as Conference Chair – the third-ranking Republican in House leadership. If she wants to serve in leadership, she has a responsibility to work on behalf of the majority of the Republican caucus.

That is a responsibility she has completed abdicated.

Cheney has never apologized for pushing the Russia bounties hoax nor has she ever apologized for supporting the challenger to Rep. Massie (though she did request he return her donation after it turned out he was a white supremacist!).

Cheney’s problems long pre-date January 6, and despite the unhappiness among the America First movement for Cheney’s role in leadership, she could have remained in leadership – if she had really wanted to.

RELATED: Trump And GOP Leadership Endorse Replacement For Liz Cheney

Alas, for the last few months Cheney has been focused on her next gig at the expense of her role as Conference Chair and Representative of the State of Wyoming.

Cheney initially survived a secret ballot vote over her role in House Republican leadership back in early February.

Despite the fact that she was one of only 10 House Republicans to join with Democrats in impeaching President Trump, her colleagues appeared willing to give her a pass and move on.

Cheney was having none of it. Because none of this has actually been about Cheney fighting for her leadership position. As Mollie Hemingway pointed out:

That anyone is talking about Cheney is proof of her failure. Her job is to raise $$ (she doesn’t), stay on message (HA!), and not undermine caucus (it’s all she does). If you’re pretending this is only about joining with media/Pelosi for impeachment, you’re not serious.

Cheney has continued to embarrass her colleagues and publicly divide the caucus – despite the fact that her job in leadership is literally to do the opposite – because the last few months have been a Cheney audition for her next gig (which has nothing to do with representing the people of Wyoming).

Taking a page from the Jeff Flake playbook, the last few months have been Cheney’s audition for a gig on CNN or MSNBC or one of the networks.

Cheney knows that the party of George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and Dick Cheney is dead. She knows that she has no future in this party. She knows that at best she will be a marginalized voice in the modern Republican Party.

RELATED: Nancy Pelosi Gives ‘Lynne Cheney’ Praise For ‘Her Courage And Patriotism’

At worst, Cheney is facing a primary defeat at home in Wyoming and public humiliation.

Frankly, Cheney is barely even trying to hide her true motivations here. A conservative fighting for the future of the GOP would be making his or her case on Fox News or NewsMax or in the pages of the Washington Times or the Wall Street Journal.

Instead, Cheney has become a fixture on CNN and wrote her latest melodramatic screed in a place almost no Republican would see it – The Washington Post.

While Cheney talks about “history” and “our children” watching, the truth is that the only folks who are watching that Cheney cares about are executives in the legacy media.

Hillary Clinton Calls For ‘Global Reckoning’ With ‘Disinformation’

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton is advising that social media needs a “global reckoning” with disinformation, and urged the media to “rid themselves of both-sideism.”

In an interview with the Guardian, Clinton made the confusing argument that social media companies are at once too powerful, but also how they also need to tamp down more on certain kinds of views and information.

She also bashed the mainstream press, saying, “They’ve got to rid themselves of both-sidesism.”

“It is not the same to say something critical of somebody on the other side of the aisle and to instigate an attack on the Capitol and to vote against certifying the election.”

“Those are not comparable, and it goes back to the problem of the press actually coming to grips with how out of bounds and dangerous the new political philosophy on the right happens to be.”

Oddly enough, Clinton never opposed anyone objecting to election certifications when Democrats did it over and over again both in 2017 and 2005.

Hillary Clinton Wants Political Opponents Shut Down Over ‘Misinformation’

Can you even recall a time in our nation when Democrats were so open and brazen about their attempts to shut down free speech in America?

Hillary Clinton proceeded to attack Big Tech companies, who have banned President Trump from ever offering his opinion on their platforms, for not doing enough to stop the spread of “misinformation.”

“The technology platforms are so much more powerful than any organ of the so-called mainstream press,” she claimed.

“And I do think that there has to be not just an American reckoning but a global reckoning with the disinformation, with the monopolistic power and control, with the lack of accountability that the platforms currently enjoy,” Clinton continued.

Clinton, who has repeatedly blamed her 2016 presidential election loss on Russian conspiracies, called for world governments to step in and regulate Big Tech.

“So governments are going to have to decide right now that the platforms have to be held to some kind of standard, and it’s tricky,” Clinton said.

Former President Donald Trump was banned from social media for daring to claim the 2020 election was stolen. Here you have Clinton, who claimed that Trump was an “illegitimate” President, saying this isn’t enough.

And Democrats think Republicans are fascists?

RELATED: Hillary Clinton Urges Trump Officials Involved in Impeachment Inquiry to ‘Tell the Truth’

She Needs A Global Reckoning With Herself

Where to even begin with this obvious case of projection on the part of Hillary Clinton? Perhaps the media needs a global reckoning with her own history of lies and misinformation.

Clinton, after all, admitted that her lawyer, Marc Elias, paid for the infamous Steele dossier.

Elias, in a lawsuit filed by former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, was accused of using “false information, misrepresentations and other misconduct to direct the power of the international intelligence apparatus and the media industry against” him to “further their political agenda.”

The dossier, which the Wall Street Journal has described as uncorroborated “junk,” was the basis for the Russia/Trump conspiracy news that dominated media during the former President’s administration.

Clinton, of course, was also integral in the lie that the Benghazi attacks were the result of an obscure YouTube video.

Former National Security Adviser under Barack Obama, Susan Rice, even claimed in her book that she was pushed to do five Sunday television interviews by the Obama administration to cover for Clinton by insisting on that story.

What other misinformation came from Hillary Clinton? Well, you could write a book.

Dodging sniper fire in Bosnia, claiming she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, being “dead broke” after leaving the White House, and trying to join the Marines come to mind.

All of these are provable lies, some mundane, some quite serious. All misinformation that, if social media giants had a global reckoning over, would result in her banning as well.

The problem being, the media isn’t interested in ‘both-sideism.’ In essence, Hillary has already been granted her wish to stifle free speech.

Pelosi Mocks Male Republicans For Not Being Able To Handle Party ‘Girlfriend’ Liz Cheney

As calls grow for Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) to be ousted from her leadership roles, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is mocking male Republicans for trying to find a “non-threatening woman” to replace her.

Pelosi’s Spoof Ad

Staffers for Pelosi sent out a spoof “help wanted” ad as calls mounted to remove Cheney for her moves against former President Donald Trump, according to Yahoo News.

“Word is out that House GOP Leaders are looking to push Rep. Liz Cheney from her post as House Republican Party Chair – their most senior woman in GOP leadership – for a litany of very Republican reasons: she won’t lie, she isn’t humble enough, she’s like a girlfriend rooting for the wrong team, and more,” the ad stated.

“So what exactly are House GOP Leaders looking for in a #3? Punchbowl AM got the scoop and, well, it’s not surprising … they want a woman who isn’t a ‘threat’ to them,” it continued.

This was a reference to Punchbowl News, which reported on Tuesday that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) want Cheney ousted and replaced with someone who is “not relentlessly on message, but also someone who does not pose a threat to them and their power.”

McCarthy Sounds Off

While appearing on “Fox & Friends” this week, McCarthy said that some members of the caucus were “concerned” about Cheney’s capacity to do her job as a conference chairwoman.

“There’s no concern about how she voted on impeachment. That decision has been made. I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair – to carry that message,” he said.

Cheney Attacks Trump

Cheney has long been an outspoken critic of Trump, recently saying that “it’s important” that he not run again in 2024.

“I don’t think that that’s going to happen,” Cheney told the Washington Examiner. “And I think it’s important that it not happen, given what he did.”
