Rand Paul Slams Impeachment ‘Farce’ That ‘Should Be Dismissed’

On Sunday, Senator Rand Paul said in an op-ed that the impeachment process against former President Donald Trump was a “farce” and called for it to be dismissed.

Paul wrote in his op-ed “Boycott Sham Impeachment” for The Hill, “The Constitution says two things about impeachment — it is a tool to remove the office holder, and it must be presided over by the chief justice of the Supreme Court.”

Sen. Paul: Trump Not To Blame For Capitol Violence

“If Justice Roberts is not presiding over this, then it is not impeachment,” Paul wrote. “This charade will be nothing more than bitter partisanship and political theater.”

According to Politico, sources in both parties “close to the impeachment trial negotiations,” claimed that Chief Justice Roberts didn’t want a role in the trial and a spokesperson for Supreme Court judge declined to comment to Politico on the matter.

Paul also said a politician merely telling a crowd to “fight to take back your country” doesn’t mean he or she provoked violence, as many have accused Trump of doing in his speech preceding the Capitol Hill attack.

“If we are to blame politicians for the most violent acts of their craziest supporters, then many of my colleagues would face some pretty harsh charges themselves,” Paul said.

Paul Revisits Bernie Supporter Shooting Republican Congressmen

The senator continued, “I’ve been shot at, assaulted and harassed by supporters of the left, including some who directly said the words of politicians moved them to this violence.”

Sen. Paul then brought up the 2017 incident in which a reported Bernie Sanders supporter shot at him and other Republicans on a baseball field while practicing for the annual congressional baseball game.

Paul wrote, “I was there at the ball field when a deranged Bernie Sanders supporter almost killed Steve Scalise and seriously wounded several others.”

“At the time, Democrats were arguing that the GOP plan for health care was ‘you get sick, then they let you die’ Paul said.

“Is it any wonder an insane left-wing gunman took that rhetoric to heart and concluded: ‘If the GOP is going to let me die then maybe I’ll just kill them first?”

‘This So-Called Impeachment Is A Farce’

Libertarian-leaning Republican Paul then ended his op-ed by denouncing the Trump impeachment as a “farce” that should be stopped.

Paul wrote, “I am more than willing to work with Democrats to find common ground on protecting civil liberties or ending some of our many foreign military interventions, but no unity or common ground will be found while Democrats continue to fight the last election.”

“This so-called impeachment is a farce and should be dismissed before it is even allowed to begin,” Paul ended.

The impeachment trial is scheduled to begin the week of February 8. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said earlier in January that he hasn’t made a decision yet on whether to vote to convict Trump.

Maxine Waters Claims Trump Will ‘Take Over Legislatures, Little Towns And Cities’ If Not Convicted

Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters claimed Sunday that former President Donald Trump would attempt “to take over legislatures, little towns and cities” if he is not convicted for insurrection.

Waters made her comments on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

RELATED: Biden Accuser Tara Reade Reemerges To Say It Was ‘Unspeakably Hard To Watch The Man Who Assaulted Me’ Be Inaugurated

Waters Claims Trump ‘Paid’ The ‘Organizers Of The Insurrection’

Waters said, “I do believe he sent all of these domestic terrorists to the Capitol to take over the Capitol, and that includes not only the Proud Boys but the Oath Keepers, the QAnon, and white supremacists.”

“These people have been aligned with him” Waters insisted.

Waters then accused Trump of paying the “organizers of the insurrection.”

“One of the things I hope that will be looked at as we take this impeachment to the Senate is the fact that in his campaign for re-election, he was paying the very organizers of the insurrection that took place,” said Waters.

After the violence at the Capitol in early January, Waters also claimed that President Trump was “capable” of “starting a civil war.”

Waters Demands Trump Conviction

“The names are right there” she continued. “The amount of money that he paid to them, it is shown in the last report,” the Democrat said. “More of it is going to show up in the next report that they have to do.”

“I think it is very clear” Waters said. “We cannot afford to allow this president to leave here without being impeached and, you know, absolutely convicted.”

She further explained why she believes the Senate must impeach Trump, claiming that Trump would use taxpayer money to organize his supporters.

Waters continued, “We cannot allow him to leave and have all of the resources of the taxpayers to have not only money to hire staff, but to hire security, and money to organize with, because he will continue.”

RELATED: Joy Behar Comes Unglued – Says Trump ‘Made It His Business For Four Years To Rape This Country’

Then Waters made her wild claim about Trump somehow being so influential over parts of the U.S. population that he will be able to control small towns and local governments.

“He now knows, he has a population” Waters said adding that “he’s going to expand that.”

“He will be attempting to take over legislatures, little towns and cities and he doesn’t give a darn about the Constitution and so our democracy is at stake,” Waters claimed.

“We must convict him, and we must take away his power” she finished.

If President Trump were convicted by the Senate and barred from holding political office, it would do nothing to stop him from organizing or politicking as a private citizen.

Mitt Romney Suggests Trump Impeachment Necessary For ‘Unity In Our Country’

Republican Senator Mitt Romney suggested Sunday that impeaching former President Donald Trump could bring national unity.

The “Never Trump” Senator made his comments on “Fox News Sunday” with host Chris Wallace.

Watch the interview below.

Romney Argues Senate Trial Necessary For Unity

Wallace asked Romney, “Senator, do you support holding this impeachment trial, and what do you think the rules should be on the length of the trial and whether or not to call witnesses?”

Romney replied, “Well, we’re certainly going to have a trial. I wish that weren’t necessary, with the president’s conduct with regard to the call to the secretary of state in Georgia as well as the incitation towards the insurrection that led to the attack on the Capital calls for a trial.”

Then the anti-Trump Republican suggested that the impeachment could bring more unity for the U.S.

“If we are going to have unity in our country, I think it’s important to recognize the need for accountability, for truth, and justice,” Romney said.

Romney: ‘Pretty Clear’ Trump Spent A Year Trying To ‘Corrupt The Election’

He added, “So I think there will be a trial, and I hope it goes as quickly as possible, but that’s up to the council on both sides.”

Romney said it has been “pretty clear” over the last year and Trump had been trying to corrupt the election.

“I think it’s pretty clear that over the last year or so there has been an effort to corrupt the election of the United States and it was not by President Biden, it was by President Trump and that corruption we saw with regards to the conduct in Ukraine as well as the call to Secretary of state Raffensperger as well as the in citation to insurrection.”

Romney has a long history of anti-Trump sentiment.

Romney was the only Republican Senator to vote to convict President Trump during the first impeachment trial.

In 2016, Romney famously gave a “Never Trump” speech when it became clear that Trump was likely to win the Republican nomination for President.

The Utah senator finished his interview with Wallace by saying Trump provoked an attack on American democracy.

“I mean, this is obviously very serious and an attack on the very foundation of our democracy, and it is something that has to be considered and resolved,” Romney added.

Democratic Senator Hirono Reveals Real Goal Behind Trump Impeachment Effort

Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, spoke out on Saturday to reveal what the real goal behind the impeachment effort against former President Donald Trump.

Hirono Reveals Real Goal Of Impeachment

While appearing on MSNBC, Hirono said that the true goal of the impeachment push against Trump is to hold him accountable for the “violent insurrection” and prevent him from running for office again.

“It’s very clear, Tiffany, that we need to not only hold the president accountable through an impeachment trial but to get on with passing a COVID relief bill,” she said.

“And we can do both. Much of this depends on Mitch McConnell’s willingness to do the right thing for the American people,” she continued. “So, that’s where we are, Tiffany. I know we can do both. All it takes is will on the parts of the Republicans at this point.”

“Whether 17 of them will go along to convict this president of what we all experienced as a violent insurrection at the Capitol remains to be seen,” Hirono added. “I think a few of them will, but I don’t know that we’re going to get 17. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t proceed to hold this president accountable, and that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stop him from ever seeking elected office again, and that just takes a majority vote.”

Klobuchar Chimes In

This comes as Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) also spoke out to claim that Americans are “going to get more and more evidence over the next few weeks” about Trump’s alleged insurrection.

“I thoroughly believe that we can handle this impeachment trial and just as the American people are doing, juggle what we need to get done,” Klobuchar said. “Get the homeland security secretary through. We just had the insurrection at the Capitol. Get people confirmed for Joe Biden’s cabinet. And yes, get people the help that they need. That’s what this next month is going to be about.”

“I think we’re going to get more and more evidence over the next few weeks as if it’s not enough that he’s sent an angry mob down The Mall to invade the Capitol, didn’t try to stop it, and a police officer was killed. I don’t really know what else you need to know,” she added.

“The facts were there,” Klobuchar continued. “We saw it right there on the platform during the inauguration, as you could still see the spray paint at the bottom of many of the columns.”

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Makes Good On Promise To File Impeachment Against Biden

Newly elected Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Thursday, President Joe Biden’s first full day in office, officially filed articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives.

Greene introduced the articles in relation to alleged corruption by Biden and dealings he had with the government of Ukraine. The articles allege abuse of Biden’s power as during his term as Vice President.

It also alleges abuse of power in relation to Biden’s son Hunter and his dealings with Ukraine.

Greene stated, “President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the Presidency. His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama’s Vice President is lengthy and disturbing.”

Making The Case For Impeachment

On her Congressional website, Greene has published a press release giving the entire scope of the articles. In her reference to accepting “various benefits,” she notes financial compensation Biden and his son have allegedly received.

The impeachment articles also allege that Biden pushed for dismissal of Ukraine’s top prosecutor in order to benefit his son. Other countries in the West at the time were also calling for the resignation of Mykola Zlochevsky.

In the Senate, Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security Committee issued a report stating that the appointment of Hunter Biden to the Board of Directors of the Ukranian company Burisma could have been a conflict of interest.

Democrats Push Forward On Trump Impeachment Trial

Speaker of the House Nancy Peosi (D-CA) announced on Friday that she will send the Articles of impeachment against former President Donald Trump to the Senate on Monday.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stated, “Make no mistake: There will be a full trial. There will be a fair trial.”

President Trump has hired attorney Butch Bowers for his Senate impeachment trial. Bowers comes as a recommendation by South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.

In a report from The Hill, as of now, there are only five or six Republican Senators seem likely to convict. A two-thirds majority is required for conviction in the Senate, meaning there would have to be at least 17 Republican votes.

McConnell Put On Notice

There has been speculation on whether or not Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) would vote to convict President Trump.

A recent Fox News article claimed McConnell was “pleased” that Democrats had introduce the latest round of impeachment articles. Another in the Daily Mail cited sources who said McConnell would, “consider a yes vote” in order to “purge” Trump “from the GOP.”

At least one Republican Senator has said that should McConnell vote to convict, “I don’t know if he can stay as leader.” Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) said voting to impeach Trump would be a “huge mistake” and “destroy” the Republican Party.

Polls also show that Donald Trump still enjoys strong support from Republicans.

The results of an Axios-Ipsos poll shows that most Republicans nationwide do not think Trump was responsible for the riots in Washington, that he was within his rights to challenge election results, and would vote for him again should he run in 2024.

If Republicans vote to convict Donald Trump in the Senate, the possibility of a permanently splintered Republican Party is very real.

Pelosi ‘Not Worried’ About Alienating Trump Supporters With Impeachment – Dropping Trial Is ‘Not How You Unify’

During her weekly press conference on Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spoke out to say that she is “not worried” about alienating those who supported Donald Trump by moving forward with his impeachment trial, saying that dropping it would not be “how you unify.”

Pelosi Discusses Impeachment

Pelosi said this after she was asked by a reporter if a Trump impeachment trial would “undercut” President Joe Biden’s call for unity that he made at his inauguration speech the day before.

“No, I’m not worried about that,” Pelosi said. “The fact is the president of the United States committed an act of incitement of insurrection. I don’t think it’s very unifying to say, ‘Oh, let’s just forget it and move on.’”

Related: Pelosi Sending Impeachment Article to Senate Monday, GOP Senators Warn McConnell Against Vote To Convict

The House impeached Trump for a second time last week for “incitement of insurrection” in last week’s Capitol riot. Pelosi is set to send the article of impeachment to the Senate for a trial, and she claims that dropping it would be the opposite of unifying.

“That’s not how you unify. Joe Biden said it beautifully. If we’re going to unite, you must remember that we must, we must bring this— look, that’s our responsibility to uphold the integrity of the Congress of the United States,” Pelosi said. “That’s our responsibility, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. And that is what we will do.”

“Just because he’s now gone — thank God — you don’t say to a president, ‘Do whatever you want in the last months of your administration. You’re gonna get a get-out-of-jail card free,’ because people think we should make nice-nice and forget that people died here on January 6, that the attempt to undermine our election, to undermine our democracy, to dishonor our Constitution— no, I don’t see that at all. I think that would be harmful to unity,” she added.

McCarthy Fires Back

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has said that while Trump “bears responsibility” for the Capitol riots, he does not support impeachment because he feels that it goes against a message of unity.

“I think impeachment was totally wrong. It was purely politically driven. … Now President Trump is a private citizen. Why would you spend your time on this?” McCarthy told Fox News on Thursday. “This is where I think President Joe Biden could have shown the nation he really was uniting. Let’s not do impeachment. Let’s dismiss this. Let’s unite this nation.”

Pelosi Sending Impeachment Article to Senate Monday, GOP Senators Warn McConnell Against Vote To Convict

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will send the article of impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate on Monday where a “full trial” will take place.

This, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Schumer stated that he had spoken with Pelosi about the article and that it “will be delivered to the Senate on Monday.”

“Make no mistake: There will be a full trial. There will be a fair trial,” he tweeted as if to convince himself of the impartiality that will greet the former President.

Schumer, speaking on the floor of the Senate, proceeded to make a rather unfortunate error in announcing the news.

“There will be a trial, and when that trial ends, senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John Trump incited the erection … insurrection against the United States.” he declared.

Articles Of Impeachment And Senate Trial To Kick Off Monday

Former President Donald Trump has reportedly hired a lawyer for the Senate impeachment trial by the name of Butch Bowers.

Reuters reports that Bowers was a recommendation of Senator Lindsey Graham.

“Bowers has represented former Republican governors in South Carolina and served in the U.S. Justice Department under Republican former President George W. Bush,” they write.

The Hill indicates only a handful of Republicans seem likely to go along with a vote to convict Trump, short of what they would need for success.

They write, “Only five or six Republican senators at the most seem likely to vote for impeachment, far fewer than the number needed.”

McConnell Has Been Warned

Meanwhile, CNN is reporting that several GOP senators have expressed that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) “could face backlash if he votes to convict Trump.”

“If he does, I don’t know if he can stay as leader,” one senior GOP senator allegedly told CNN.

Senator Ron Johnson, when asked if he could support McConnell if he voted to convict the former President replied, “No, no, no.”

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) voiced his opinion that having GOP leadership move forward with Trump’s impeachment would be a “huge mistake” and would “destroy” the Republican Party.

McConnell has not publicly announced if he would vote to convict Trump, but his words leading up to the trial have indicated a disdain for the former President’s actions, if not his role in the party.

McConnell reportedly views the Democrats’ effort to impeach the president as a means to “help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.”

A poll from Axios-Ipsos that came out last week shows Republican voters are siding with Trump over McConnell “big time.”

The results show a vast majority of Republicans do not hold Trump responsible for the Capitol riots, believe he has a right to challenge the election, and still support him, with supporters even sticking with him as their preferred nominee in 2024.

If McConnell and the Republicans vote to convict on the article of impeachment, the party will forever and irreparably be fractured.

Democrats Scramble to Save Face After National Guard ‘Banished’ To Parking Garage Following Biden Inauguration

Several lawmakers expressed outrage following a report that National Guard troops had been “banished” to a parking garage after serving to defend against potential threats at the inauguration of President Biden.

Politico reported Thursday night that U.S. Capitol Police officials had the Guard troops removed from the facilities “sending them outdoors or to nearby parking garages after two weeks pulling security duty” following the Capitol riots in early January.

The report notes that outdoor temperatures in the area fell into the 40s, while conditions inside the parking garage for one unit of 5,000 consisted of just one electrical outlet and one bathroom.

One Guardsman conveyed his feelings about the situation to Politico.

“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service,” he said.

“Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage,” the Guardsman added. “We feel incredibly betrayed.”

RELATED: 12 National Guardsmen Removed From Biden Inauguration For Alleged Ties To Right-Wing Groups

National Guard Troops Banished to Garage Following Biden Inauguration

A CNN report shortly thereafter indicated the National Guard troops had been “banished” to the garage but were “allowed back into the Capitol Complex” following an outcry from lawmakers.

The initial move to force them into a garage reflected poorly on Democrats considering the troops were used to help defend the inauguration of one of their own party members.

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), an Iraq war veteran, tweeted, “Just made a number of calls and have been informed Capitol Police have apologized to the Guardsmen and they will be allowed back into the complex tonight. I’ll keep checking to make sure they are.”

Her Senate colleague Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) also took to Twitter writing, “This is outrageous, shameful, and incredibly disrespectful to the men and women keeping the U.S. Capitol safe and secure. We need it fixed and we need answers on how it happened.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who typically despises law and order, chimed in.

Even Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) gave out his office location and offered it to accommodate the National Guard troops, a service he normally reserves for Chinese spies – allegedly.

RELATED: Nancy Pelosi Suggests Trump Could Be Charged As Accessory To Murder For Capitol Riots

Props for a Photo-Op

The Democrat outrage was necessary because the optics of having the National Guard protect a Democrat president and then be summarily dismissed to a garage is outrageous.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), upon hearing the reports, called out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

“Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer—why are American troops who are tasked with keeping security at the Capitol being forced to sleep in a parking lot?” he asked. “They deserve to be treated with respect, and we deserve answers.”

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) brought the troops pizza and offered to let them sleep in his office as well.

“Our troops deserve better,” he tweeted.

There is no evidence that Pelosi, Schumer, or any other Democrat had any role in placing the National Guard troops in a parking garage. In fact, that would seem to fall on the shoulders of the Capitol police.

Still, it’s difficult to view the Guard’s treatment as further evidence that Democrats used them – either for a photo op for President Biden following overblown reports of a threat at the Capitol, or worse, simply as a means to prevent a pro-Trump rally from breaking out at his inauguration.

It wasn’t that long ago that the left ridiculed former President Trump for using National Guard troops to protect the southern border from actual threats to our nation, belittling them as props.

Now they’ve been used as props because a man so popular that he received 81 million votes in the presidential election had to be protected from the American people.

When their purpose had been served, our troops were quickly cast aside … until photos started leaking about what had happened.

Liz Cheney Squirms As She Twice Refuses To Say If Senate Should Hold Impeachment Trial For Trump

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) became visibly uncomfortable in an interview on Thursday as she twice refused to say if the Senate should hold an impeachment trial for Donald Trump.

Cheney Refuses To Give Straight Answer On Senate Impeachment

“There’s a Constitutional process that’s underway and you know that is something that the Senate is gonna determine,” Cheney said while appearing on Fox News.

“I think that … again we all need to take a step back and recognize that the fragility of our system, the security, the survival of our republic depends upon making decisions — that have to do with things like the attack that we saw on Jan. 6 — that are separate from the party that can never be partisan … ” she added.

The House voted to impeach Trump for a second time last week, and Cheney was one of ten Republicans who voted in favor of his impeachment, saying that she believes he “lit the flame” of the Capitol riot.

Cheney Dodges Again

Fox News host Bill Hemmer pointed out that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “still has the article. If she so chose she could probably keep it. Would you support that now?”

“They’re going to have to decide what the next steps are here. Of course the Senate will have to decide how they’re going to run the trial,” Cheney said, adding that former Vice President Mike Pence deserves “tremendous praise and our gratitude for standing firm for his Constitutional oath, for doing what he knew was right.”

The third highest ranking Republican in the House then said that it was time to “come together as a party now to move forward” and that the GOP caucus must focus its energies on “fighting against the kind of policies” now being advanced by President Joe Biden and a Democratic-controlled Congress. Cheney concluded by calling for a “positive agenda of hope and opportunity.”

Related: If Republicans Put America First, They’ll Remove Liz Cheney, Not Donald Trump

This comes as calls are growing for Cheney to resign from her leadership position in the House, but she was defiant when she was questioned about this.

“I’m not going anywhere,” she said. “We’re going to have these discussions inside the conference. We have differences of opinion about a whole range of issues including about this one.”

AOC And Her ‘Squad’ Celebrate Biden And Harris – We Must Begin ‘Healing Our Planet’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her radically liberal “Squad” were quick to celebrate the inaugurations of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Wednesday, undoubtedly hoping that this new administration will help them inflict their radical agenda on our nation.

AOC Praises Biden And Harris

As per usual, Ocasio-Cortez led the charge among her “Squad” in praising Biden and Harris.

“A historic day,” she tweeted. “Congratulations to our new President @JoeBiden and our new Vice President @KamalaHarris. Now we must begin creating justice, healing our planet, and improving the material conditions for all people. The work is on all of us to organize and build a better future.”

Ilhan Omar Gets In On The Action

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) got in on the action as well, tweeting, “Today, we begin a new chapter in America. President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris will build back a better world for all Americans. I can’t wait to work with the Biden-Harris administration to implement meaningful change for the people.”

Omar went on to lay out exactly what she wants to see Biden do as president.

“I’m excited about Biden’s promises to end the Muslim ban, reenter the Paris Climate Agreement, reinstate DACA and increase refugee admissions by over 100,000 in 2021. These executive orders will help undo the damage of the last four years,” she wrote.

“We cannot be too bold in responding to this pandemic. People don’t just need $2K checks, but recurring payments until the end of this pandemic,” Omar added. “We don’t just need a rent moratorium, we need rent cancellation so people aren’t shackled with debt when the moratorium ends.”

“There is so much the president can do through executive orders that would have a tangible impact on millions of people’s lives—from student debt, to lowering drug prices, to a $15 minimum wage,” Omar concluded.

We will have the opportunity to carry out the most progressive agenda our country has ever seen,” she said. “This is our chance to create the America I dreamed about as a refugee—a country where anything is possible. We are rooting for you, @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris.

Rest Of ‘Squad’ Weighs In

Not wanting to be left out, Rep. Ayanna Pressley tweeted the Psalm 30:5 Bible verse, “Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.”

“After drinking from a firehose of contempt for the American people, we now have leaders committed to compassion & empathy. For that, I am joyful,” she dramatically added. “Congratulations @POTUS & @VP.”

“Today, we will witness President @JoeBiden repeal the #MuslimBan, a racist policy, that left so many families separated & set a tone of hate,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) wrote on her Twitter page.

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), the newest member of the “Squad,” let her voice be heard as well.
“Congratulations on making history, Madam Vice President @KamalaHarris,” she tweeted. “I’m excited to partner with you and President @JoeBiden to get our communities the help we need.”

The “Squad” has been open in the past about wanting to pressure Biden to carry out their radical agenda. It remains to be seen just how successful they will be in this endeavor.
