As the first case of person to person transmission of the coronavirus has been reported in the U.S., the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday labeled the virus a global health emergency.
WHO stated the main reason for their announcement was the spread of the disease to countries outside of China.
Russia has shut down its long border with China and international flights continue to avoid the country.
Inside China millions are quarantined and whole regions are under strict restrictions regarding public transportation and meetings.
As rumors fly that the virus is a Chinese biowarfare weapon gone awry, nations all over the Earth are taking stringent measures to guard their populations against the deadly strain.
The coronavirus has killed 170 people in China as of Thursday and has infected 7,711, the Chinese government reports. The number of cases in the last 24 hours has grown by over 20% and climbing.
16 countries are known to be affected, with 6 cases now in the U.S. Common symptoms of the virus first appear as the flu but then increase in respiratory severity until hospitalization is warranted.
Information though is limited at best because the Chinese are not allowing any foreign medical personnel into China to research and combat the disease.

A Republican state representative from Tennessee filed a bill on Wednesday that would officially categorize the publications of CNN and The Washington Post as “fake news” while also condemning them for “denigrating our citizens.”
Rep. Micah Van Huss, a veteran of the Marine Corps. who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, filed the bill in the state’s General Assembly, according to The Daily Caller. The bill’s summary states that it is “A RESOLUTION to recognize CNN and The Washington Post as fake news and condemn them for denigrating our citizens.”
“WHEREAS, it is fascinating to see this latest ‘cult-of-Trump’ meme coming from the left, because they are the true masters of deploying mobs to demand total conformity and compliance with their agenda,” the bill reads, “because they are the true masters of deploying mobs to demand total conformity and compliance with their agenda; and WHEREAS, any thoughtful observer can see the cult-of-Trump meme as a classic case of psychological projection; after all, accusing someone’s perceived opponent of exactly what one intends to do is a very old tactic; and WHEREAS, the mainstream media is in a panic because President Trump has opened the eyes of many average Americans who are tired of politics as usual.”
The bill goes on to list multiple instances in which CNN and The Washington Post have drawn a “line between Trump opponents and Trump supporters” by claiming that Trump’s supporters are “cultists,” without offering any evidence to back this up. One example that is cited was when a CNN guest “suggested that Trump supporters belong to a cult and that our president is using mind control.”
“WHEREAS, it is fascinating to see this latest ‘cult-of-Trump’ meme coming from the left, because they are the true masters of deploying mobs to demand total conformity and compliance with their agenda, “because they are the true masters of deploying mobs to demand total conformity and compliance with their agenda; and WHEREAS, any thoughtful observer can see the cult-of-Trump meme as a classic case of psychological projection; after all, accusing someone’s perceived opponent of exactly what one intends to do is a very old tactic; and WHEREAS, the mainstream media is in a panic because President Trump has opened the eyes of many average Americans who are tired of politics as usual.”
Van Huss’ bill argues that because the “cult diagnosis draws a line between Trump opponents and Trump supporters” and “oversimplifies the way people think and feel about their own beliefs and those on the other side of that line,” the state of Tennessee should classify these outlets as “fake news and part of the media wing of the Democratic Party.”
“BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we condemn them for denigrating our citizens and implying that they are weak-minded followers instead of people exercising their rights that our veterans paid for with their blood,” the bill concludes,
Van Huss posted on his Facebook page that he decided to file the bill because his constituents are sick of being lied to by the media.
“I’ve filed HJR 779 on behalf of a constituency that’s tired of fake news and Republicans who don’t fight,” Van Huss wrote.
“I remember when the news was informative and honest,” he later added. “CNN continues to divide this country in an era of significant political polarization.”
Van Huss went on to say that his fellow Republicans are “excited” about the bill, indicating that it is receiving lots of support.
“I have not received any negative feedback,” he said.
CNN and The Washington Post have torpedoed their own reputations as trusted news organizations in recent years with their blatant anti-Trump biases. If this bill does indeed become law, they only have themselves to blame.

One thing about DC is that everyone has said everything at one time or another for every reason.
So it is with former temporary Democrat savior and darling John Bolton. The Democrats wanted him on the witness stand in the senate impeachment trial of President Trump because, in an illegally leaked book passage to gin up book preorders, Bolton claimed that the president directly told him that Ukrainian military aid was completely tied to a political hit on Joe Biden by the Ukrainians.
We know this because the president and the busy bees on his opposition research staff have unearthed a video in which former Trump National Security Advisor Bolton makes no mention of any quid pro quo in the Ukrainian matter. None.
They also found clips of Schiff personally trashing Bolton.
Given the Democrats obsessed on Bolton and his supposed damning indictment of the president during the entire Wednesday session of the trial they have some explaining to do when the Thursday session rolls around. No doubt Jay Sekulow and Alan Dershowitz can’t wait to hear it.
The first video is an August 2019 clip from Radio Free Europe. In the interview Bolton says the presidential relationship with Ukrainian president Zelensky was “warm and cordial.” He says not a word about misconduct on the part of President Trump. He even makes the GOP president’s case by saying fighting corruption in Ukraine was a “high priority” for Trump.
But now, with Bolton needing cash for a post White House career, he changes his tune. Well golly, what a surprise.
Seeing the clip the President Trump tweeted: “Game over.”
And what of the honesty and credibility of prospective Democrat star witness Bolton? Let Adam Schiff explain it to us, “This is someone who’s likely to exaggerate the dangerous impulses of the president toward belligerence, his proclivity to act without thinking, and his love of conspiracy theories,” Schiff said to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on March 22, 2018.
And in 2005…
“And particularly given the history, where we’ve had the politicizing of intelligence over WMD [weapons of mass destruction], why we would pick someone who the very same issue has been raised repeatedly, and that is John Bolton’s politicization of the intelligence he got on Cuba and other issues, why we would want someone with that lack of credibility, I can’t understand,” Schiff said, emphasis mine.
The GOP legal team will most probably be ready with those clips at the trial on Thursday. Fun will ensue.

The Super Bowl is set to take place on Sunday, which means countless advertisers have spent the past few months working on the commercials that will air on Fox during the game. Unfortunately, it has just been revealed that FOX has refused to approve a powerful commercial about abortion survivors, yet the network had no problem with green lighting an ad featuring drag queens.
The pro-life group Faces of Choice is speaking out this week to slam Fox Sports for refusing to air an ad they produced during the Super Bowl, according to LifeSite News. The ad originally ran during this year’s March For Life, and it tells the story of fourteen people who survived abortions.
Back in July, Faces of Choice submitted a thirty-second version of the ad to be aired during the Super Bowl, but the network was not having it.
“We were one of the very first people to submit anything to them,” explained Lyric Gillett, the founder of Faces of Choice. “We met every single stipulation that they asked for and every time we met the line they moved the line further to request something else.”
Gillett went on to say that she was initially told by Fox that they would get back to her by October about whether or not the ad had been approved, but she never heard anything else from them. After she repeatedly tried to get in touch with Fox’s legal department, she was finally told in November that all Super Bowl advertising slots were full. Last week, however, Fox announced that more advertising slots had become available for the Super Bowl, so Gillett resubmitted the application.
At the time of this writing, Gillett has yet to hear back about the commercial.
Gillett expressed surprise that Fox asked her at one point to give them information about everyone who had donated to the ad. Though Gillett found this request to be “untenable,” she ultimately complied and handed over the information.
“I think it’s very clever what they’re doing,” Gillett continued. “If they directly said ‘no’ then we could say ‘this is asinine, look at the suitable ad that Fox rejected,’ but they haven’t directly said ‘no,’ they’ve ignored us, wasted our time, refused to give an answer and refused to either give us clearance or simply say ‘no.'”
What Fox is doing is even more offensive given the fact that the network had no problem approving a Super Bowl ad that featured contestants from the reality television show “Rupaul’s Drag Race.” Drag queens Kim Chi and Miz Cracker will be appearing in a fifteen-second ad for Sabra hummus products, according to NBC News.
Bob Witeck, a marketing expert for LGBTQ audiences, described the commercial as “revolutionary.”
“For queer audiences, [drag] is an art form and an ‘outsiders’ language,” he explained. “Reaching the Super Bowl means taking our language into every home in the nation and millions around the world.”
Sadly, abortion survivors will not be receiving this same representation during the Super Bowl. Gillett lamented that abortion survivors “have been ignored their whole lives and that they now faced being ignored again.”
“The main goal [of the commercial] is for every day Americans to actually see choice — to be able to look it in the eye,” Gillett told FaithWire. “It is ironic and it is incensing to me that these survivors of abortion had their very voices almost stolen from them from the moment of conception, and now the media is doing that again.”
She added that she believes it’s important for Americans to see the faces of abortion survivors so that they can realize that they’re human beings too, and more than just a “choice.”
“Every single humanitarian effort, every civil rights effort that has actually made a difference has been through the voice of a survivor, and that is because the culture actually realized these people are human,” Gillett explained.
The Super Bowl is a sporting event that is enjoyed by people of all faiths and political beliefs, so it’s a real shame that the network being it is taking sides in a political argument. If drag queens can be represented during the Super Bowl, abortion survivors deserve to be as well.

The mood was legal yet the elements of fiery controversy were there on Wednesday during the Democrat Combover Festival and Senate impeachment trial of President Trump.
Most GOP questions were handled by attorney Patrick Philbin. But Alan Dershowitz, Pat Cipollone, Pam Bondi and Jay Sekulow also got their turn at bat. The Democrats inexplicably continued to go with the hard on the ear team of Nadler and Schiff, relegating better litigators like Jeffries and Crow to the general sidelines for most of the day.
The Democrats also continued to let the unintentionally comic Val Demings take the podium. She is so inarticulate that her time on camera has become the designated bathroom break time for Democrat and GOP Hill staffers alike.
The questions from the senators were mostly contrived set ups to their own party’s lawyers. When they addressed the other side the questions became increasingly aggressive as the day wore on.
Supposed swing vote GOP Senator Susan Collins of Maine was seen to be visibly upset at Democrat insults to her and other senators. The Democrats are pushing her towards acquittal.
GOP Senator Rand Paul had a question thrown back at him by Chief Justice John Roberts when Paul named Eric Ciaramella as the informer. More details on that in a following article.
The Democrats focused on Bolton. Yet the GOP, and you will be sure to hear of this today, unearthed videos where Bolton states there was nothing amiss with the president’s communications with the Ukrainians.
A constant GOP theme during the day was that policy or political differences are not sufficient to meet the standard of impeachment set forth by the Founders. The Democrats countered with their usual “big lie” strategy of ignoring reality and focusing on their fictional talking points. Schiff even revisited his old trick of making up lines he then insinuates were the president’s real meanings.
The Democrats stoked the fire on their love affair with the hapless Lt. Colonel “Flounder” Vindman, even though his was perhaps the worst and most discredited testimony during the House hearings.
Jay Sekulow showcased the poison pill defense, as we predicted. He said he would call both Bidens, Schiff, and Ciaramella to the stand, at the very least, if the Senate voted for witnesses.
The New York-California Axis was on display during the Democrat presentations, as the leftist party can’t seem to find very many legal acolytes or elected supporters much distant from the Big Rotten Apple or the Left Coast.
Swing vote possibility Democrat Senator John Tester, given the nature of a question he sent to the Chief Justice for the Democrat House managers, may be leaning against the president.
More to follow…

However his recent aggression towards voters on the campaign trail show a more volatile side to Biden. Far from the friendly Joe of the Obama years who’s mistakes were usually more cringe-worthy than aggressive.
But lovable Joe Biden has shown a different side of himself; conveying either a lack of inhibition gone wrong, or perhaps, and more likely, a glimpse into a deep-seated arrogance that has given way to hostility.
Watch the way Biden handles this man and takes hold of his jacket:
The problem still remains for the Democrats that Biden is their best shot at even coming close to beating Donald Trump.
The former VP had the nomination teed up for him – but just like a high school athlete with a propensity to get into trouble who has a scholarship on the line – everybody around him is thinking, “Just get through the year without getting in trouble and it’s yours.”
That kid usually decides to participate in a senior prank that involves stealing farm animals and putting them on the roof of the school at night, gets suspended, and loses his free ride.
All Joe Biden has to do is not put a goat on the roof, and he will be fine. But he can’t help himself.
Biden has continued to argue with voters against the urging of his staff to move along, as heard in the video above. He presumably refuses to fully prepare for debates and media events, based on his responses to attacks from his opponents, and his overall verbal fumbling.
Biden still has so much power over the other candidates, because as long as he’s moderately coherent and remains to appear confident in the wake of his mistakes – no one can beat his resume.
Joe Biden, by the fact that he served as Vice President for Barack Obama for eight years, with no major discord made public by the press or the administration, puts him light years ahead of any other democratic candidate.
On paper, Joe wins. Just read his resume compared to that of say, Elizabeth Warren or Pete Buttigieg.
Personality, presentability, and ethics aside, Biden should hands down be the nominee in this motley crew that has people subbing the phrase “voter enthusiasm” for “voter confidence”.
What about Bernie, they say. Well, Bernie’s a long-time, self-proclaimed socialist and if I have any faith in the voting population of this country to recognize the dangers of socialism it will be extremely rocked if Bernie won the nomination.
It seems in the end, we’re looking at Joe Biden vs. Elizabeth Warren.
Neither candidate is particularly trustworthy or captivating. And Joe Biden’s resume may hold more weight psychologically with the American voting public than we realize.
There are new polls discussing the so-called trust factor of each candidate. In a recent survey from Quinnipiac University, the top trusted candidate was Sanders, followed by Biden, and then Warren.
Of course Sanders won “most honest” in this survey. He is literally always admitted that he wants to take everyone’s money and spread it around as he sees fit. No change in that platform.
You can trust Bernie to run the country off a cliff.
So unless I’m wrong about the majority of American voters being slightly weary of socialist policies; Sanders’ perceived honesty is a symptom of his maniacal radical views remaining consistent.
People trust Warren less than Biden, not because Biden is proven to lie less than Warren, but because they trust him to run the show. They trust that he knows how to handle himself in the White House, to play it cool, and not run in the room with wild ideas about how to “fix” our entire economic system with a Robin Hood scheme.
Biden knows what it’s like to be in high intensity situations and standby and listen. Warren is an intellectual egomaniac. It’s her way or the highway, and she has a lot of ideas.
If Joe Biden ever became the President of the United States, moderate Democrats can trust, for the most part, that he won’t be bullied by the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez agenda. He won’t go radical.
Biden might pander to the far-left to keep things quiet, but if he were to become President, things wouldn’t be that different policy-wise then from then when Obama was in office. That scares conservatives, but is a relief to middle of the road Democrats.
When it comes to Burisma, or any other scandal, Biden has the connections, power, and money to cover up, or at least get away with most of it in the end.
Look at Hillary and Benghazi. Or her email scandal. They made her sweat, but in the end she got away with everything. Other than the fact that she has to look in the mirror.
Scandal is not likely to bring down Joe Biden’s campaign, even if there’s truth to it. Only Joe can ruin his campaign – it’s his to lose.

When Army combat veteran and telegenic Democrat member of Congress from Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard showed guts by voting “present” at last month’s House impeachment vote, she must have known she would pay a big price from her fellow Democrats and their lapdog pals in the media.
She was right.
Hillary Clinton, a woman who not only never served her country in uniform but has actively campaigned against U.S. combat troops in the field, called her a “Russian asset.” I believe psychiatrists call that “projection.” Though Hillary’s case would be ex post facto.
The Left in general has called for her head on a pike, expulsion from the party, and worse, making her attend a beer bash hosted by Elizabeth Warren.
The latest slight is Gabbard’s exclusion from a CNN town hall scheduled only a few days before the New Hampshire primary. Now, there are rules for town hall inclusion that have to do with poll numbers. Gabbard is polling 5% in the Granite State. She is not included. Yet Democrat Governor Deval Patrick and limo leftist Tom Steyer, who are polling lower than she is, are included.
Here’s Gabbard:
Asked about not being invited to the @CNN town halls next week in NH, @TulsiGabbard tells @foxnewspolitics "we received no explanation. I don't even think we've gotten a response to date about why they're excluding the first female combat veteran ever to run for president" #FITNpic.twitter.com/njxusUoXWt
It would be tempting to put on the leftist frock for a moment and scream, “Sexism! Misogyny!” But the actual reason is much easier to ken.
The Democrat media grupenfuhrers will truck with no rebellion, no opposition, or no independence. This is especially true if the rebel has a national stage and makes a good impression on camera, thus guaranteeing her an audience.
However, Gabbard goes farther in offense than that.
Her manner is not hysterical, her tone is not histrionic, her judgment seems sober and reasonable. While she is too liberal for my taste, what she is doing in the modern Democratic Party is a mystery.
She represents what that party used to be. The party of Harry Truman and John Kennedy that was driven into exile long ago by the likes of George McGovern, Ted Kennedy, and now by Democrat national de facto leader Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
She may not be as moderate or even conservative on many issues as were Truman and Kennedy. But she has guts. She seems to, by her own lights, love this country.
And that’s something not many modern Dems can understand or tolerate.

Warren has, in her zest to play to the prejudices of the extreme hard left, gone all the way to the end of the leftist dial and embraced the theories of national socialism and indeed the brand of authoritarian socialism that ruled in the Soviet Union for decades and continues to hold sway in the modern Democrat ideological homelands of Cuba and Venezuela.
Specifically, Warren said in a press release she wants to make a crime out of “disseminating false information” online and would prosecute tech giants for “false information that disempowers voters and undermines democracy.”
Who would decide what constitutes “false information” and what “disempowers and undermines?”
She would.
In her own words, “I will push for new laws that impose tough civil and criminal penalties for knowingly disseminating this kind of information, which has the explicit purpose of undermining the basic right to vote. The stakes of this election are too high — we need to fight the spread of false information that disempowers voters and undermines democracy,” Warren said. “I’ll do my part — and I’m calling on my fellow candidates and big tech companies to do their part too.”
Criminal penalties for speaking online against the likes of Warren and her ilk?
I hope I get a nice cell, one with a decent wine cellar and a walk-in humidor.
Perhaps it should be lauded that the Senator has dropped her mask and now fully and publicly supports installing national criminal penalties for opposing what Warren personally deems false and disempowering.
Even putting aside the outright fascist tone of her statements, in this era of the PC Thought Police and identitarian lunacy no doubt taking issue with any insanity the left may spread would be considered illegal and subject to prosecution.
Just how would a real republic, where people can freely voice their views, be able to operate under these strictures?
That’s just it. The Democrats fully well know one can’t.
Because a functioning republic is not what they’re interested in. Their only ambition is raw power at any cost.

There was a time when “The Daily Show” was a humorous program that would offer funny takes on news stories of the day. Unfortunately, however, those days are long gone, as “The Daily Show” has devolved into just another bitterly leftwing television program that is hellbent on destroying President Donald Trump.
“The Daily Show” showed it’s anti-Trump bias once again this week by hiring a black truck with a large TV screen on it’s side to drive around Washington D.C. playing videos of the president insulting U.S. senators as they prepare to decide his fate in his impeachment trial. The video of Trump’s insults plays on a never-ending loop, with host Trevor Noah sometimes jumping in to address the senators personally.
“As a juror, the most important thing is to remain impartial,” he can be seen saying. “The following remarks by the defendant should not be considered when rendering your verdict.”
Given the fact that the Senate is controlled by Republicans, there is virtually no chance that they will vote to impeach Trump, so this is an enormous waste of time and money. That doesn’t matter at all to the liberals behind “The Daily Show,” however, as they are relishing the opportunity to get in their immature digs at Trump.
“It’s just funny and ironic to see that [Trump’s] fate now rests in these senators’ hands, after he spent all this time insulting them and calling them names,” Ramin Hedayti, a supervising producer at “The Daily Show,” told The Washingtonian.
It was Hedayti who came up with this ridiculous idea during the first few days of the impeachment trial.
“Once the [impeachment] trial started, we just got all the clips of Trump dunking on all his prospective jurors,” Hedayati explained. “We realized — ‘Okay, there’s a lot here.’”
Too bad none of it will have any impact on the senators deciding Trump’s fate.
“We’re trying to always think of ways to take jokes that we have and take them outside the boundaries of 11:00 to 11:30. Like, how can we exist in the real world? How can we get closer to the people that we’re covering?” Hedayti says. “Literally driving a truck outside of the building they’re in is a way to do that.”
The lunacy of liberals never ceases to amaze!

Like a sequel to the film “Outbreak,” the Chinese coronavirus is spreading due to airline travel and has the potential to go viral.
There are 100 active cases in Washington state, Illinois, Arizona, and California. 27 states are being closely monitored for the disease. There are 17 countries outside of China that have reported cases.
In China there are 6000 cases that have resulted in 130 deaths. The Chinese government has quarantined 50 million people in 15 cities and villages.
American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta have all canceled or rescheduled flights to China. British Airways has done the same and a plane bound to Canada from China was diverted to March Air Force Base in California so the passengers could undergo medical testing.
Online, there have actually been those who mistakenly believe Corona beer has something to do with the virus. They would be wrong. It’s Miller.
Ok fine, that’s not true. It’s Coors.
I’m told by Legal the virus has nothing to do with any beer. They are no doubt correct. Thanks guys. My jokes are lame enough without shyster intervention.
In absolutely non-joke data, the Washington Times reported Sunday that an Israeli Intel biological warfare analyst thinks the virus may be linked to a Chinese biowarfare program based in the virus epicenter of Wuhan City, China.
In a further nod to “Outbreak,” the Chinese internet is already rife with rumors that the virus was developed by the U.S. to attack China with germ warfare. The Chinese internet is almost completely controlled by the Chinese government.
Dany Shoham, who served with Israeli Intel, says the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the only publicly acknowledged center of virology in all of China, could have been involved with the coronavirus.
He commented to the Times, ““Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment…In principle, outward virus infiltration might take place either as leakage or as an indoor unnoticed infection of a person that normally went out of the concerned facility.”
The U.S. CDC is closely watching the situation.
