Schiff Comes Unglued Over Reports Of Flynn Pardon – Says Trump ‘Acting Like An Organized Crime Figure’

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) came unglued on Wednesday over reports that President Donald Trump is considering pardoning former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Back in 2017, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI about contacts he had with Russia, but he later attempted to withdraw this plea, according to The Hill.

Schiff Unravels

While appearing on CNN’s “New Day,” Schiff accused Trump of “acting like an organized crime figure” because he feels that the president is trying to reward people who lie for him.

“It would send a message that at least as far as President Trump is concerned, if you lie on his behalf, if you cover up for him, he will reward you,” Schiff said. “He will protect you, but only if he thinks it’s in his interest.”

“There are others that lied for him that he’s not going to extend that kind of service to, but it just, frankly reflects so ill on our democracy, on the United States,” he added.

“Imagine what people around the world think when we have a president who’s acting like an organized crime figure,” Schiff continued. “But this is who Donald Trump is. It’s who he was on the way into the presidency. It will be exactly who he is on his last days of the presidency.”

Schiff Admits Trump Could Legally Pardon Flynn

Despite this rant, Schiff could not deny that legally Trump has every right to pardon Flynn, “assuming that it’s not on the basis of some illicit quid pro quo.” However, the Democrat made a point of adding that he does not believe that Trump can pardon himself.

“There are other limitations on the pardon power, but it is very broad and subject to abuse as he has demonstrated,” Schiff said.

Schiff was one of the Democrats who led the impeachment witch hunt charge against Trump during his presidency. That’s why it would not be surprising if he’s planning to lead yet another witch hunt effort against Trump and those close to him, once the president leaves office.

The hatred Schiff has for President Trump remains nothing short of disturbing.

Pelosi Goes Off On Republicans As Trump Refuses To Concede – ‘Stop The Circus And Get To Work’

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spoke out on Thursday to scold Republicans who have stood by President Donald Trump as he continues to not concede the election.

Pelosi Has The Nerve To Tell Republicans To ‘Stop The Circus’

“Stop the circus and get to work on what really matters to the American people,” Pelosi said in a press conference, according to Yahoo News. “It is most unfortunate that Republicans have decided that they will not respect the will of the people.”

Pelosi is perhaps the last person who should be telling anyone to “stop the circus,” given the fact that she was the one who led the impeachment charge against Trump in the House earlier this year, despite knowing that it would never pass through the Republican-led Senate.

Her impeachment push was an enormous waste of time that distracted the entire nation while COVID-19 was simultaneously making it’s way into the U.S. for the first time.

RELATED: Pelosi Speaks Out To Say Biden Has ‘Tremendous Mandate’ To Push Democratic Agenda

Schumer Chimes In

Pelosi was joined at her press conference today by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who begged Republicans to acknowledge Biden as the president-elect.

“The election is over,” Schumer said. “Senate Republicans, stop denying reality.”

Schumer went on to say that Biden’s election was a mandate for Democrats, calling on Republicans to accept this by caving to the left’s demands in coronavirus relief bill negotiations.

“This election was maybe more a referendum on who can handle COVID well than anything else,” Schumer said. “The Donald Trump approach was repudiated. The Joe Biden approach was embraced.”

“And that’s why we feel there’s a better chance to get a bill in the lame duck [period] if only the Republicans would stop embracing the ridiculous shenanigans that Trump is forcing them to in the election and focus on what people need,” he added.

RELATED: Schumer Unloads On Feinstein For Acting Like An Adult In Amy Coney Barrett Hearings

Schumer might want to watch how much he throws around the word “referendum” when it comes to this election, given the fact that Democrats’ majority in the House shrunk considerably, and it looks like Republicans will be keeping the Senate. If the election was a referendum on anyone, it was most certainly on Democrats.

Dems Want To Be In Control So Badly, Their Screw-Ups Are Becoming Legendary

There is no single problem in America that is not either caused by or made worse by the Democratic Party.

The irony is that we pay (taxes) to maintain the Democratic Party. The Party’s liberalism cannot fund itself.

Liberalism generates no wealth, much less any surplus. It uses taxpayer-financed programs to buy votes.

All that the Democratic Party brings to America’s ‘table’ is redistribution and ‘need.’ All it needs is a wealthy host and a news media to lie for it.

Its action in the streets and the Congress clarifies that they see the Constitution as an impediment.

The ‘Rule of Law’ is a ‘Lawfare‘ tool to the left.

READ: McMaster Dismisses Wolf Blitzer’s Claim That Military Would Remove Trump If He Doesn’t Concede

Every talking point, from race to economics, education, and applying the law that makes up the mantras of the Left can be factually refuted.

Without the pro-Democrat News Media’s selective outrage, lies, and convenient omissions, there would be no Democratic Party. Reality would crush them.

The irony continues with the Democrat’s anti-Business and anti-growth orientation.

They see Capitalism as the problem which liberalism defends us from. The truth is that without Capitalism, the Democratic Party’s vote-buying liberalism would starve to death.

It’s clear to me: The only existential danger to America and the Constitution is the Democratic Party and those who vote to enable it.

Democrats Want To Be In Control

The only thing the Dems care about is getting back in control of the federal government again.

And they don’t seem to care how many buildings get burned down or how many bodies they have to step over to get that power back.

Once they get back in power, I predict they’ll radically change the entire system to make sure they never lose another election ever again.

After that, they can drive the entire country straight into the ground, and nobody will be able to stop them.

Think: eliminate the Electoral College, popular vote elections, ballot harvesting, national mail-in voting, stack the Supreme Court with radical activist Judges, pay reparations, confiscate firearms, and open up the borders.

The Jig Is Up

From where I’m standing, it’s plain that the Democrats are blinded by their hatred of everything good, wholesome, lovely, etc., and so blinded that they project their evil intent on others (for example: Republicans want to push granny off the cliff).

Because of this, they cannot anticipate consequences like we usually do. I know that, if I throw a brick at a cop, I’m going to jail.

They think they are immune from reality.

Burning down buildings and then the buildings and businesses magically reappear? True, in their world.

READ: Supreme Court Pick 2020: The Dems Can’t Win For Losing, And It’s Hilarious

Since they loathe any military/police, they cannot conceive of the possibility that these entities may be used to round them up and put them before a judge.

My most fervent wish is that trials for sedition would begin and move swiftly. After all, our wishes should be honored.

Pelosi Knows That It’s Over

Watching Rep. Nancy Pelosi during her weekly press briefing only shows me that it’s obvious that she is seeing the death of the Democrat Party.

Nancy’s last resort was another impeachment, but I think she only backed off on that because Democrats would remove her for it. Such a move would endanger every Democrat’s reelection on November 3rd.

I’m convinced something big has happened in the House behind the scenes, and Pelosi is visibly shaken by it.

Americans Are Waking Up

People are not taking the veiled threats to burn cities down if they don’t win the White House very well.

The threats are backfiring, and the Democrats must be seeing this in the polls.

President Trump will not lay down and let Democrats steal the election by mail-in ballot box stuffing.

He is not going to hand America over to Communists, especially if it’s due to the results of a stolen election.

If Martial Law is declared, a proper, in-person, ID-required election can be held within 30 days, and we can have the results of a fair, legal, and documented election before Christmas!

AOC Demands People Stop Asking ‘If’ White Supremacy Exists In Policing – Says They Need To Talk About How Bad It Is Instead

The radically liberal Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y) called on lawmakers to stop “asking if white supremacy in policing exists” and to instead accept that it does. She also wants them to focus on determining just how big of a problem white supremacy in policing is going forward.

Ocasio-Cortez Speaks Out On Policing

Ocasio-Cortez made these comments during a House Oversight and Reform hearing that was meant to focus on what the left described as the “pervasive” problem of white supremacists infiltrating the police departments in America. Law enforcement officers, legal experts, and even one former neo-Nazi  testified about their personal experiences with racist police officers.

Later in the hearing, Ocasio-Cortez was given the chance to speak, and she used her time to suggest that “far too much of the discussion around the issue of white supremacist infiltration of policing focuses on whether this problem exists.”

RELATED: Michael Rapaport Torches AOC For Ignoring NYC’s Surge In Shootings – ‘You Never Bring That Stuff Up’

“We have known for generations that it’s not a question about whether this problem is an issue, it’s a matter of how we have allowed it to sustain for so long,” she said. “Congress, as well, has been complicit, and our silence has allowed for more violence and continued generational trauma in our communities.”

“We have to stop asking if white supremacy in policing exists and I think we need to start figuring out how we can better determine the scale of this problem,” she added.

Police Officers Don’t Deserve These Attacks

This just goes to show that the level of hatred that Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow Democrats have for police has become so great that they see it as a foregone conclusion that police departments are “racist.”

It’s rhetoric like this from lawmakers like Ocasio-Cortez as well as from members of the media that have endangered the lives of American police officers all over the country like never before.

It should be noted that the FBI was asked to testify in the hearing, but refused. Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) said “they have nothing to say because they have no evidence that this is a widespread problem demanding the FBI’s attention.”

We would have to agree with the FBI on this one.

It’s Starting: Democrats Introduce Bill To Limit Supreme Court Terms

Amid calls for significant changes to the Supreme Court and Senate, Democrats are set to introduce a bill next week that would set Supreme Court term limits at 18 years.

Term Limits For SCOTUS

The Supreme Court Term Limits and Regular Appointments Act, according to Reuters, will be introduced by Democrats next Tuesday.

It would set term limits for the Supreme Court at 18 years, and allow every President to appoint to nominate two justices per term.

“It would save the country a lot of agony and help lower the temperature over fights for the court that go to the fault lines of cultural issues and is one of the primary things tearing at our social fabric,” said Democrat Representative Ro Khanna.

Khanna will introduce the bill along with Representatives Joe Kennedy III and Don Beyer.

The bill would exempt current justices from the rules. Justices who finish their term would retire from the Supreme Court and then rotate to lower courts.

“That’s perfectly consistent with their judicial independence and having a lifetime salary and a lifetime appointment,” Khanna argued.

Democrats Demand Court Packing

This is not the only thing that Democrats have been demanding regarding the Supreme Court.

Representative Kennedy wrote on Twitter that if President Trump and the Republicans held a vote for his Supreme Court nominee this year, they would simply pack the court in 2021.

This sentiment has been echoed by other Democrats. “Mitch McConnell set the precedent,” Senate candidate Ed Markey tweeted.

“No Supreme Court vacancies filled in an election year. If he violates it… we must abolish the filibuster and expand the Supreme Court.”

Representative Jerry Nadler joined the calls.

If McConnell “were to force through a nominee during the lame duck session—before a new Senate and President can take office—then the incoming Senate should immediately move to expand the Supreme Court,” Nadler wrote.

Schumer: “Nothing Is Off The Table”

Democrats are fuming that President Trump and Mitch McConnell have the gall to use their constitutional powers to nominate and confirm a replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

It’s not the first time that there has been a nominee in an election year, and it won’t be the last.

They forget that Merrick Garland was not voted on because the Senate and Presidency were split. That is not the case this time.

Some legal scholars argue that a constitutional amendment is needed to set term limits for Supreme Court justices.

It is unclear from the Reuters article whether or not Representative Khanna has been challenged about the issue.

Senator Chuck Schumer said that “nothing was off the table.” I believe him.

Democrats, don’t let RBG’s seat—or the Supreme Court—be further soiled by Trump

Honestly, there isn't much that Senate Democrats can do to fully prevent a Republican majority, slim though it may be, from seating another Supreme Court nominee from Donald Trump, illegitimate as that nomination might be. What they can do, however, is delay it until after the election. And after the election, the chances of blocking it are probably better. There could very well be some defeated Republicans who won't have anything to lose anymore and might just decide not to seal their legacies with something so ignoble as this. Additionally, if they can delay throughout November, Democrats will likely have a new member—Arizona's Mark Kelly, who could be seated as early as Nov. 30 by Arizona law.

To that end, congressional procedural experts have drawn up a memo that's reportedly circulating on Capitol Hill that details the myriad options available to Democrats—both in the House and Senate—to eat up Senate time and prevent Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham from rushing the nomination through before Nov. 3. There's no silver bullet here for Democrats to stop the confirmation, but there are tons of BBs.

We talked about a lot of what the Senate can do in this post, but didn't explore the House's options. Like sending over articles of impeachment. (I nominate Attorney General Barr for that one, personally.) The House could act on Senate bills pending in the House, amend them, and send them back as privileged—the Senate could be forced to act on them.

In a perfect world, Sen. Chuck Schumer and team would deploy all of them. As of now, they are not. As of now, with no official appointment, they don't have to. McConnell is going to have to deal with the continuing resolution the House just passed to fund government through Dec. 11 early next week, because the deadline is midnight Wednesday.

Republicans are not devoid of ways of trying to keep Democrats from doing this—they can keep putting up things for unanimous consent, like this resolution expressing support for the Pledge of Allegiance. Now, what Democrats could do is use every tactic from Republicans to engage the Republicans in hours of debate on them. That's something they need to be doing anyway: standing on the floor punching holes in Republican arguments and making them answer for their blind loyalty to Trump.

Democrats can start doing these things now to show McConnell their resolve to stand together in making his life hell, dissuading him from trying to push through the nomination before the election. They can use a wide variety of procedural tactics to force Republicans who need to be spending all their time on their reelection at home to stay in Washington, D.C., having to be subject to a call to come to the chamber at any given time. Sowing as much unrest as possible among those Republicans is always helpful.

It's about meeting McConnell's fire with fire; it's about not being steamrolled, and not letting him and Trump further foul the Supreme Court of the United States.

Senate Republicans Can Do What They Want, Democrats Already Shot the Hostage

After the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Senate Democrats vowed “nothing was off the table” if President Trump nominated a replacement for Ginsburg and the Republican-controlled Senate confirmed that nominee.

Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer said, “Let me be clear: If Leader McConnell and Senate Republicans move forward with this, then nothing is off the table for next year. Nothing is off the table.”

RELATED: Schumer Vows To Use ‘Every Tool In The Toolkit’ To Delay Trump Supreme Court Nominee

Democrats’ Extreme Lengths To Stop Trump

The “nothing is off the table” threat is a grab bag of left-wing priorities:

Packing the Supreme Court with additional justices, ending the filibuster in the Senate, statehood for Puerto Rico, and statehood for the District of Columbia.

Nancy Pelosi one-upped her Senate colleague, going as far as to threaten to impeach President Trump and/or the Attorney General to try and stop confirmation of a new Justice.

From Vox: ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Pelosi about the idea floated by some activists that Democrats could use impeachment hearings against Trump or Attorney General Bill Barr to tie up the Senate if Republicans try to push through a nomination during a lame-duck session (after a potential win for Democrats in Congress and the White House).

“Well, we have our options,” Pelosi replied. “We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country.

“This president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election with statements that he and his henchmen have made.”

NeverTrump Republicans Already Surrendering?

Some on the establishment right immediately responded to the threats by suggesting the GOP negotiate with Democrats.

NeverTrumper David French suggested that Trump make his pick, the Senate proceeds to hold hearings on the nominee, but that the Senate only confirms his pick if Trump is re-elected.

French explicitly says the reason for this compromise is because of Democratic threats:

After all, while much can happen between now and November 3rd, the Democrats may well hold the House, narrowly take control of the Senate, and win the White House.

At that point, they’d have the legal and constitutional power to not just reverse conservative control of the Court by amending the law to increase the number of Supreme Court seats (a process popularly known as “court-packing”), they could also permanently alter the balance of power in the Senate by admitting new states – namely Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.

While some conservatives have attempted to counter French by arguing the Reaganesque “we don’t negotiate with terrorists” line, I would take it one step further:

Senate Republicans can – and should – do whatever they want, Democrats have already shot the hostage.

Let’s be clear, absolutely everything the Democrats have threatened to do if Republicans proceed with the nomination, they will do if they take power – regardless of whether Republicans play nice or not.

Democrats Will Not Respect Norms – Vote On Trump’s Nominee

If Joe Biden wins in November and if Democrats maintain majority in the House and retake the Senate, they will eliminate the filibuster, move to pack the Court, press forward on statehood for Puerto Rico, and do the same for the District of Columbia.

Hell, Democrats have already impeached the President for purely political reasons.

As Maya Angelou famously said, “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.”

Democrats have shown the American people time and time again exactly who they are – and it is time we believe them.

RELATED: Gowdy Hammers Biden – If You Don’t Want Trump Picking Supreme Court Justices, Win An Election

Joe Biden won’t answer questions about things like Court packing because he doesn’t want to tell the American people the truth, which is: if he can do, it he absolutely will.

I firmly believe that Donald Trump will be re-elected in November – in spite of Democratic shenanigans – but if for some reason the President isn’t re-elected, a conservative Supreme Court majority for a generation would certainly be the most important and lasting piece of President Trump’s legacy.

‘The View’ Descends Into Chaos As Meghan McCain Spars With Cohosts About RBG’s Supreme Court Seat

“The View” went off the rails once again on Monday, as the cohosts got into a heated debate over the Supreme Court seat that has been left vacated by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died last Friday at the age of 87.

The segment started out on a harmonious note, as all five cohosts of the show, including conservative Meghan McCain, agreed that Ginsburg had been a game-changer for women and that her presence would always be felt on the Supreme Court.

“Well done,” said Whoopi Goldberg. “You spent your time as an American, you spent your time as a human being, fighting for the right thing.”

“The View” Derails

However, things went downhill when the cohosts shifted to discussing the debate on whether a replacement for Ginsburg should be named before the election. Within hours of Ginsburg’s death, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell insisted that confirmation hearings will take place before the election.

“62% of Americans think the Supreme Court seat should be filled by the new president,” said Joy Behar. “We’re currently being ruled by a minority.”

McCain responded by supporting McConnell’s push to fill Ginsburg’s seat before the election.

“One of my biggest concerns is — if we have a contested election in 2020 and it’s split like it was in 2000, we have to have a full Court ruling on it,” she said. “The potential for constitutional chaos is absolutely the most imminent it has been in my modern lifetime.”

RELATED: Meghan McCain Confronts CNN Host Brian Stelter On His Network’s Many Failings

McCain went on to say that the nomination process of Brett Kavanaugh, which saw him be accused of sexual assault by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, “changed the game for a lot of Republicans, myself included. Democrats on their side will do anything and everything to smear any conservative.”

McCain Stands Strong

As McCain’s liberal cohosts started to push back on her, things got heated.

“47% of Americans are pro-life, Joy,” McCain said. “Every time I talk about it on this show, it’s received as if it’s this vast minority in the country.”

“I’m telling you, for people who are pro-life, not never-Trumpers … for people like me, it is a meat and potatoes issue, much like guns,” she added. “It will get people out [to vote], period.”

When cohost Sara Haines tried to read a quote from potential nominee Amy Coney Barrett, McCain was not having any of it.

“I would be very careful slandering her, Sara, before she’s even been put forth,” said McCain. “This is what I’m talking about with the Kavanaugh stuff!”

“No, Meghan, please just give me a chance –” said Haines, as McCain continued to talk over her.

Goldberg was finally left with no choice but to shut down the conversation and throw the show to a commercial break. As this Supreme Court situation escalates, you can expect “The View” to go off the rails plenty more times as the hosts battle it out over a potential nominee.

Graham: ‘We’ve Got The Votes To Confirm Justice Ginsburg’s Replacement Before The Election’

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Monday night that Senate Republicans have “the votes to confirm Justice Ginsburg’s replacement before the election.”

The Republican also said that the Senate Judiciary Committee will report the nomination so there can be a vote on Trump’s nominee on the Senate floor before the election.

He also noted that Republicans will confirm Ginsburg’s replacement before November 3rd.

Graham: ‘We’ve Got The Votes’

Graham made his comments on Monday’s “Hannity” on Fox News, where he also promised all the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee would vote for the nominee to replace Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.

“We’ve got the votes to confirm Justice Ginsburg’s replacement before the election,” Graham told Sean Hannity.

“We’re going to move forward in the committee. We’re going to report the nomination out of the committee to the floor of the United States Senate so we can vote before the election.”

“That’s the constitutional process,” Graham noted.

Graham Vows He And Republicans Won’t Be Intimidated By The Left

The senator continued, “After Kavanaugh, everything changed with me. They’re not going to intimidate me, Mitch McConnell, or anybody else.”

“The nominee is going to be supported by every Republican in the Judiciary Committee, and we’ve got the votes to confirm the judge — the justice on the floor of the Senate before the election,” Graham insisted.

“And that’s what’s coming,” he vowed.

The night before Graham made his comments to Hannity, protesters gathered outside the senator’s Washington, DC residence to demand he not confirm a replacement for Ginsburg.

Expect The Left’s Shrill Reaction To Get Worse

Given the tone and even violent aggressiveness of today’s left, this was not surprising.

And as President Trump and Republicans continue to go through the process of what the Constitution demands when a Supreme Court seat becomes vacant, expect the left’s reaction to become increasingly worse.

We are already seeing it from Democrat leaders.

They have threatened to pack the courts.

They have threatened to impeach the president for merely doing his Constitutionally-prescribed job.

Left-wing liberals like CNN commentator Resa Azlan have threatened to burn down the country.

It will get worse from here.

Pelosi doesn’t rule out new impeachment inquiries to block Trump’s Supreme Court nominee

Appearing on ABC’s This Week on Sunday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi honored the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg by aptly describing her as a “brilliant brain” on the Supreme Court, reminded people that it’s absolutely imperative to get out and vote this November, and the ongoing importance of battling the novel coronavirus pandemic. On the subject of the vacant Supreme Court seat, the Democrat from California didn’t rule out launching an impeachment inquiry of Donald Trump (for the second time) or Attorney General Bill Barr, which would delay the Senate’s ability to confirm a Supreme Court nominee of Trump’s, either.

When host George Stephanopoulos hypothesized a major concern of progressives—that even if former vice president Joe Biden wins the election, Republicans and the White House might try to push through a nominee anyway in a lame-duck session—Pelosi replied: "We have our options.” The speaker continued, “We have arrows in our quiver that I'm not about to discuss right now but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country. This president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election.”

She stressed that the “main goal” is ultimately to “protect the integrity of the election as we protect the people from the coronavirus." The speaker noted that she believed the late Ginsburg would want that same goal. Pelosi also clarified that “None of us has any interest in shutting down the government,” saying it would be too harmful to so many people in the nation.

“When people say, what can I do? You can vote,” the speaker stressed. “You can get out the vote, and you can do so as soon as possible.” She added that the same day we lost Ginsburg, ten states started early voting.

Stephanopoulos circled back to a potential impeachment inquiry and asked if the House would “rule anything out.” Pelosi drove home the basic tenant of public service: responsibility to the people.

"We have a responsibility,” she stated. “We take an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States." (If only Trump saw it that way.) Pelosi continued: “We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people. When we weigh the equities of protecting our democracy, requires us to use every arrow in our quiver.”

Here is that clip.

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now,” Speaker Pelosi tells @GStephanopoulos when pressed on what Democrats would do if Pres. Trump and Republicans push a SCOTUS nomination ahead of the Nov. 3 election. https://t.co/JhU93KY3iQ pic.twitter.com/HOmI8AxREN

— This Week (@ThisWeekABC) September 20, 2020

Lastly, Stephanopoulos asked about another big topic among progressives: expanding the court. To that, Pelosi said, “Well, let's just win the election,” adding that she hopes the president will “see the light.” The speaker then used her final talking time to home in on the importance of the Affordable Care Act, and how much the average American has at stake in this election cycle.
