Biden Calls On Cuomo To Resign

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden said that Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign after a report from New York Attorney General Letitia James that the governor sexually harassed 11 women.

Biden told reporters at the White House, “He should resign.”

The President isn’t alone either – other powerful Democrats, like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and a host of other national and New York state politicians – have called for Cuomo to resign.

Cuomo has so far remained defiant, refusing to resign and claiming that his behavior was all above board.

Biden Calls For Resignation, Cuomo Refuses

Biden said at the White House on Tuesday, “I understand the state legislature may decide to impeach, I do not know that for a fact.”

Not long after Biden’s statement, Democratic New York State House Speaker Carl Heastie announced an impeachment inquiry into Cuomo.

Attorney General James’ report, which is 165 pages and features interviews with 179 witnesses and a review of tens of thousands of documents,  represents four months long investigation that concluded that Cuomo “sexually harassed multiple women, and in doing so violated federal and state law,” James said.

Yet, incredibly, James also said she was not charging Cuomo.

Cuomo continued to deny the allegations, and said other incidents were merely a misunderstanding.

“First, I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” Cuomo said on Tuesday after the report was made available.

“I am 63 years old,” Cuomo declared. “I’ve lived my entire adult life in public view.”

He added, “That is just not who I am, and that’s not who I have ever been.”

Regarding accuser and former aide Charlotte Bennett, Cuomo admitted that he “did ask her questions I don’t normally ask people” — including about her romantic life.

Cuomo said he was “truly and deeply sorry” for his unprofessional comments but also said she “heard things I just didn’t say.”

Cuomo’s denial also included a long document which featured images of himself and President Biden hugging and touching people.

Perhaps the most talked-about part of the whole affair – Cuomo defended himself by saying he touches everyone’s face.

He even came prepared with a video slideshow.

Of the face-touching, Cuomo said, “I do it with everyone. Black and white, young and old, straight and LGBTQ, powerful people, friends, strangers, people who I meet on the street.”

Biden on Cuomo in March after accusations emerged: ‘I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too’

When the sexual harassment accusations came to light in March, President Biden at the time said Cuomo would need to step down if they were valid allegations.

“I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too,” Biden told ABC News in a March 16 interview.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Tuesday, “I don’t know that anyone could have watched [James’ press conference] this morning and not found the allegations to be abhorrent— I know I certainly did.”

Trump Lawyer Jenna Ellis Quits The Republican Party During Live Broadcast

Jenna Ellis, the former attorney for President Trump, quit the Republican Party during a live broadcast on the conservative news platform, “Real America’s Voice.”

Ellis said she is making the move because, in her mind, it’s clear the GOP does not – and did not – support the former President enough.

“Sure, the Republicans claim to be keeping Democrats in check, but only a handful of outsiders are actually speaking up,” she claimed. “The rest are compromising on everything.”

“The infrastructure bill, for example,” Ellis continued. “Or the second impeachment hoax, where [Senate GOP Leader Mitch] McConnell actually stood up and ranted against President Trump for his own political gain, not for the truth.”

The former Trump attorney’s announcement seems to have been spurred on by a recent spat with the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Jenna Ellis Quits The GOP

Late this past weekend, Jenna Ellis accused the RNC of lying about a story claiming the group’s chief counsel questioned electoral fraud claims.

The in-fighting exploded following a report regarding a new book by Michael Wolff which, in one excerpt, claimed Ellis received a forwarded note from RNC chief counsel Justin Riemer.

In emails obtained by The Hill, Riemer questioned colleagues who were backing Trump’s claims of election fraud during the 2020 election.

“What Rudy [Giuliani] and Jenna are doing is a joke and they are getting laughed out of court,” Riemer reportedly wrote in emails obtained by the Washington Post.

“They are misleading millions of people who have wishful thinking that the president is going to somehow win this thing,” he continued.

Ellis allegedly showed the message to the two people she was having dinner with at the time, one of whom was another attorney for the former President, Rudy Giuliani.

The book claims Giuliani was so incensed by the message that he called Riemer and delivered a profanity-laced demand to resign.

“Who the f*** do you you think you are? How can you be going against the president?” the book claims Giuliani said. “You need to resign and resign tonight … because you are going to get fired.”

Giuliani then purportedly called McDaniel to ensure he had been fired.

The RNC issued a statement insisting the story “is simply false.”

Ellis, however, said it was true and that she had the receipts to back it up. She demanded McDaniel resign.

Ellis Calls Out The RNC

The RNC, well after the incident in question took place in November, continued to raise money off Trump’s claims of election fraud.

Jenna Ellis, in her on-air speech in which she quit the Republican Party, addressed the perceived hypocrisy.

“What happened to the millions raised by the RNC in November and December of 2020?” she asked. “The Trump team never saw a dime of that help.”

“All of them, including Ronna McDaniel, should resign now,” she continued before announcing her departure.

“Until they do, as of today, I am resigning from the party,” she declared. “A compromised, corrupted majority is not a majority worth being a part of.”

Riemer, who is still with the RNC despite Giuliani’s attempts to get him fired, insists that the committee did everything they could to support Trump without dabbling in election fraud conspiracies.

“Any suggestion that I did not support President Trump or do everything in my power to support the RNC’s efforts to reelect President Trump is false,” Riemer said in a statement to the Washington Post.

“I will say publicly now what I then said privately: I take issue with individuals who brought lawsuits that did not serve President Trump well and did not give him the best chance in court,” he added.

Regardless of Riemer’s assertion, which might very well be accurate, it’s clear the RNC tried to discredit the story only for the truth to have come out in an embarrassing fashion.

“If we genuinely want to create a more perfect union, we have to stand up for our principles against a corrupted machine of self-serving politicians in Washington,” Ellis said.

McDaniel, who is the niece of anti-Trump Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT), has since purportedly blocked Ellis on Twitter.

Biden Says Cuomo Should Resign, Could Face Prosecution – Only If Sexual Harassment Allegations Are True

President Biden believes an investigation into sexual harassment claims against Andrew Cuomo needs to play out, but if the allegations are proven true, the New York Governor should resign.

Biden’s comments, made during an interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos Tuesday night, are another sign that the President is playing it safe with an ally he once reportedly considered for Attorney General.

“I know you said you want the investigation to continue,” Stephanopoulos said to Biden. “If the investigation confirms the claims of the women, should he resign?”

“Yes,” Biden replied. “I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too.”

Biden: Cuomo Should Resign If Women’s Allegations Are True

Of the scandals currently plaguing Cuomo, the sexual harassment claims, while nauseating, are more sensational but not quite as serious as the scandals involving nursing home deaths, obstructing justice revolving around the nursing home deaths, and threatening lawmakers.

That said, whatever happened to ‘believe all women?’

Now suddenly it’s ‘believe all women as long as a thorough investigation proves they’re not lying.’

Despite near-universal calls for Cuomo’s resignation from Democrats and Republicans, President Biden continues to play it safe.

“A woman should be presumed to be telling the truth and should not be scapegoated and become victimized by her coming forward,” the President said. “There should be an investigation to determine whether what she says is true.”

Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James is conducting an independent investigation into the numerous sexual harassment claims, one of which involves groping a female aide.

The Albany Times Union reported that Cuomo “aggressively groped” the woman “in a sexually charged manner” after summoning her to the Executive Chamber.

The incident allegedly involved the Democrat governor “reach(ing) under her blouse” and fondling her.

An incident with potential criminal activity has since been reported to Albany police by the New York State Executive Chamber.

A reporter this past weekend became the seventh woman to accuse Cuomo of inappropriate touching saying, “Andrew Cuomo’s hands had been on my body … often enough by late 2014 that I didn’t want to go to the holiday party he was hosting for the Albany press corps.”

Media Lets Biden Slide

Stephanopoulos, often hailed as an exemplary member of the media, failed to follow up with Biden on two obvious transitions.

One, the more severe transgression involving the nursing home scandal, in which Cuomo’s executive order last March forced senior living facilities to take on COVID-positive patients, resulting in thousands of deaths, plus the subsequent cover-up that his administration confessed to.

And two, the more obvious transition, questioning Biden about his own numerous allegations of inappropriate touching.

No, Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against President Biden never dawned on Stephanopoulus.

Reade made an allegation of sexual assault against Biden during a podcast back last March after alluding to harassment in his office in the past.

“His hands were on me and underneath my clothes,” she alleged, claiming that when the assault was over Biden said, “C’mon man, I heard you liked me.”

Biden has repeatedly denied Reade’s story is true, saying her “claim has changed” and that “the truth of the case is nothing like this ever, ever happened.”

Perhaps that is why Biden can’t commit to calling on Cuomo to resign based on these women’s stories.

Bill de Blasio Torches Andrew Cuomo – Says He’s ‘Literally In The Way Of Us Saving Lives Right Now’

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) went on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday to through New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) under the bus once again, this time saying that he is “in the way of us saving lives” because he is busy dealing with multiple sexual misconduct allegations against him, which has distracted him from handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

de Blasio Blasts Cuomo

When asked directly if Cuomo should resign, de Blasio replied, “I think he’ll try to hold out Margaret. I think he is used to getting things his way, and it’s been almost an imperial governorship. But I gotta tell you, the folks in this state and political leadership don’t believe in him anymore. He doesn’t have any credibility.”

“So I think an impeachment proceeding will begin,” the mayor continued. “And I think he will be impeached, and perhaps right before that, he’ll decide to resign. That’s probably the most likely outcome right now, but I got to tell you something. He should resign right now because he’s holding up our effort to fight COVID. He’s literally in the way of us saving lives right now.”

“He just needs to resign so we can actually turn the page. And- and look, it’s an optimistic time as you started out this morning,” de Blasio added. “It’s an optimistic time. We got to put the past behind us. Andrew Cuomo can’t lead us into the future. We’ve got the people of the state ready to reopen, but we need to get him out of the way to do it.”

de Blasio Calls On Cuomo To Resign

This comes days after de Blasio publicly turned on Cuomo and called on him to resign.

“It sickened me, it sickened me,” de Blasio said of the claims against Cuomo. “The thought of a powerful man trying to take advantage of his power, intimidate a young woman and just the sense that he was treating her … like she was his property. Just disgusting, creepy.”

“It is disgusting to me. And he can no longer serve as governor. It’s as simple as that,” he added.

NY Assembly Takes First Step Toward Impeachment Of Cuomo, Police Report Filed Over Groping Allegations

The New York State Assembly has taken its first step in pursuing the possible impeachment of Governor Andrew Cuomo, as calls continue to mount for his resignation.

Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie on Thursday gave the chamber a green light to open a probe which would include full subpoena power.

Democratic Assemblyman Ron Kim confirmed the move to Fox News.

“The Democratic Conference is taking the first step toward impeachment by opening an investigation with full subpoena power to obtain facts and testimonies under oath,” he said in a statement.

Kim, who has accused Cuomo of trying to help cover-up his ongoing nursing home scandal, vowing to destroy his career if he didn’t go along, said he felt the impeachment process could have begun immediately.

“Some members, including myself, argued that we had enough admission to proceed with impeachment today but the conference is leaning toward setting up the process and structure toward impeachment,” he said.

Assembly Sets Forth on Path to Cuomo Impeachment

The Assembly’s actions in moving to possibly impeach Cuomo come as a sixth woman has come forward with sexual misconduct allegations.

The latest claim involves a female aide whose description of events – through a source with direct knowledge – could land in the category of assault.

The Albany Times Union reports that Cuomo “aggressively groped” the woman “in a sexually charged manner” after summoning her to the Executive Chamber.

The incident allegedly involved the Democrat “reach(ing) under her blouse” and fondling her.

“The reports of accusations concerning the governor are serious,” Heastie said in a statement adding, “the committee will have the authority to interview witnesses, subpoena documents and evaluate evidence, as is allowed by the New York State Constitution.”

Cuomo, aside from the impeachment probe, is currently being investigated on multiple fronts by Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James.

One involves a cover-up in which the administration is accused of hiding data on deaths of the elderly in nursing homes which may have been the result of the governor’s March executive order forcing the facilities to take on COVID-positive patients.

The second is an independent investigation into the numerous sexual harassment claims.

The impeachment probe is not expected to interfere with James’ investigations.

Police Report Filed Over Groping Allegations

Albany police also revealed Thursday they received a report from the New York State Executive Chamber about an incident with potential criminal activity.

The incident, which aligns with the new accuser’s groping allegations, involved a female aide and took place at Cuomo’s executive mansion.

The New York Times reports that the police department has not opened an official investigation, but is offering its services to the alleged victim.

The latest allegations have not only started the ball rolling on Governor Cuomo’s impeachment, but it has also prompted dozens of Democrat lawmakers to call on his resignation.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio responded to the groping allegations as “troubling” and “disgusting,” saying it’s time for Cuomo to resign.

“It is disgusting to me. And he can no longer serve as governor. It’s as simple as that,” he said.

Earlier this week, the New York governor practically dared lawmakers to impeach him.

“Cuomo told [Senate Majority Leader Andrea] Stewart-Cousins he wouldn’t quit and they would have to impeach him if they wanted him out of office,” the Associated Press reported.

Bill de Blasio Calls On Cuomo To Resign After Sixth Woman Comes Forward With Groping Allegations

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign after a sixth woman has come forward with sexual misconduct allegations.

The latest claim involves a female aid whose description of events – through a source with direct knowledge – could land in the category of assault.

The Albany Times Union reports that Cuomo “aggressively groped” the woman “in a sexually charged manner” after he had summoned her to the Executive Mansion late last year.

“They were alone in Cuomo’s private residence on the second floor when he closed the door and allegedly reached under her blouse and began to fondle her,” a source tells the newspaper.

The Democrat governor described the new allegations as “gut-wrenching” but insisted again, “I have never done anything like this.”

De Blasio Calls Allegations Against Cuomo Troubling and Disgusting

Cuomo up until this point has denied all of the sexual harassment claims being levied against him, asserting he simply felt he was “being playful” and that he was “joking,” something even de Blasio (D) wasn’t buying.

“Sexual harassment is not funny,” he fumed. “Who the hell tries to explain that by saying I was just joking around?”

The sixth woman’s claims have really angered de Blasio, referring to them as “troubling” and “disgusting.”

De Blasio called on Cuomo to resign.

“It is disgusting to me. And he can no longer serve as governor. It’s as simple as that,” he said.

Cuomo Won’t Resign

Governor Cuomo has thus far remained defiant, refusing to resign even as alleged victim after alleged victim comes forward to tell their story.

In fact, he reportedly dared one prominent Democrat lawmaker to impeach him if they want him to leave the office.

“We need to govern without daily distractions. For the good of the state, Governor Cuomo must resign,” Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins – a Democrat – said in a statement.

Cuomo, according to the Associated Press, engaged in a phone conversation with Stewart-Cousins in which he practically dared her to impeach him.

“In a brief phone conversation Sunday prior to the press conference,” they write, “Cuomo told Stewart-Cousins he wouldn’t quit and they would have to impeach him if they wanted him out of office.”

And that was before the sixth woman had her claims reported.

“The latest report, and the fact that we can talk about how many people are bringing forward accusations, that it’s not one, it’s not two, it’s not three, it’s not four, it’s not five, it’s six women who have come forward, it’s deeply troubling,” de Blasio said.

Added the mayor, “The specific allegation that the governor called an employee of his – someone he had power over – called them to a private place and then sexually assaulted her is absolutely unacceptable.”

Fox News reports “85 members of the state legislature have called for Cuomo’s resignation or impeachment.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has blasted the former media darling as the “worst governor in America” and called for him to step down.

More importantly, she provides an important reminder that the sexual harassment allegations are one of many concurrent scandals Cuomo is currently facing.

“Governor Cuomo has been enveloped by multiple scandals,” Stefanik said in an interview with Fox News. “First, you have the nursing home scandal and the cover-up, which I believe is criminal. It’s a crime, a federal crime, and an obstruction of justice.”

“We now know that it’s over 15,000 vulnerable seniors who died because of Governor Cuomo’s nursing home edict forcing positive covid patients into nursing homes,” she added.

Secretary to the Governor, Melissa DeRosa, admitted in a conference call that the administration hid information on COVID nursing home deaths from federal investigators.

But it may be the salacious harassment allegations that actually bring him down.

“He just can’t serve as governor anymore,” de Blasio said Thursday.

Cuomo Defiant As Top Democrats Call On Him To Resign: You’ll Have To Impeach Me

Andrew Cuomo remained defiant as top Democrat lawmakers in the state joined calls for him to resign, reportedly telling one they’ll have to impeach the New York governor for him to leave the office.

Cuomo, once the darling of the mainstream media for his handling of the pandemic, finds himself embroiled in scandals on numerous fronts.

The governor issued an executive order in March forcing nursing homes to take on patients that had tested positive for coronavirus, then according to his own top aide, engaged in a cover-up.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal published a report indicating advisers to Cuomo “successfully pushed state health officials to strip a public report of data showing that more nursing-home residents had died of Covid-19 than the administration had acknowledged.”

Making matters worse, the governor has been accused by five separate women of sexually harassing them.

Top Democrats Call on Cuomo to Resign

While the nursing home scandal is far and away the more shocking issue plaguing Governor Cuomo’s administration right now, the sexual harassment claims are causing Democrat lawmakers to take notice.

New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins called on Cuomo to resign Sunday.

“We need to govern without daily distractions. For the good of the state, Governor Cuomo must resign,” Stewart-Cousins – a Democrat – said in a statement.

Heastie – also a Democrat – issued his own statement saying, “I too share the sentiment of Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins regarding the Governor’s ability to continue to lead this state.”

The pair join Democratic State Assemblyman Ron Kim who called on Cuomo to “do the right thing and resign.”

Kim’s target was the nursing home scandal and cover-up, in which he accused the governor of threatening to ruin his career if he didn’t help run cover for Cuomo in the media.

Kim would later call the activity outlined in the Wall Street Journal article “criminal.”

Cuomo: You’re Going to Have to Impeach Me

Fox News reports that, as of Sunday, “a total of 37 lawmakers from either the Assembly or state Senate want [Cuomo] to resign, and 10 have called for impeachment.”

But Cuomo would have none of it, suggesting being forced to resign based only on allegations would be “anti-Democratic.”

“There is no way I resign,” Cuomo told reporters.

“They don’t override the people’s will, they don’t get to override elections,” he said of the lawmakers calling for him to step down. “I was elected by the people of New York state. I wasn’t elected by politicians.”

Cuomo would later dismiss “the premise of resigning because of allegations [as] actually anti-democratic.”

His statement completely neglects the fact that he’s been caught issuing an executive order that led to the deaths of thousands of seniors, then engaged in what state Assemblyman Mike Lawler (R) described as a “criminal conspiracy” to hide the numbers from the DOJ.

Cuomo was so defiant, the Associated Press details a phone conversation he had with Stewart-Cousins practically daring lawmakers to impeach him.

“In a brief phone conversation Sunday prior to the press conference,” they write, “Cuomo told Stewart-Cousins he wouldn’t quit and they would have to impeach him if they wanted him out of office.”

An Assembly Republican-led commission to impeach Cuomo was established in February.

To impeach the sitting governor of New York, the Assembly would need a majority vote in the 150-member body, and the state Senate would need a two-thirds majority of court members to convict.

Democratic Socialists Of America Call For New York Gov. Cuomo To Resign Over Sexual Harassment Charges

The Democratic Socialists of America has called for Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign after three women have come forward to say he sexually harassed them.

To note, this a far-left group that Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez belongs to.

Democratic Socialists Of America To Gov. Cuomo: Resign

Cuomo is getting plenty of heat over these accusations, with calls to resign even coming from his left.

The New York Post reported on Tuesday, “In light of the multiple allegations of sexual harassment by Governor Cuomo, the NYC Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is calling for the immediate resignation and impeachment of Governor Andrew Cuomo,” the socialist group said in a statement.

The statement continued, citing the three accusers, “We stand with Charlotte Bennet [sic], Lindsey Boylan, and Anna Ruch, who have spoken out about Governor Cuomo’s harassment.”

“Someone so comfortable with abusing his power should not be in leadership of our state,” the group said. “It is abundantly clear that Cuomo’s endemic pattern of abuse and bullying have disrupted and interfered with democratic processes in our state.”

“The people of New York deserve better” the socialist organization emphasized.

Far-left Working Families Party Wants Cuomo Gone Too

This statement comes mere days after New York’s Ocasio-Cortez said Boylan and Bennett’s accounts were “extremely serious and painful to read,” and called for an independent probe.

Not to be outdone on the far left, the Working Families Party also are calling for Cuomo to resign.

“Andrew Cuomo’s reign of fear, harassment, and intimidation cannot continue,” the group’s statement read. “We were horrified to learn of the Governor’s pattern of sexual harassment.”

RELATED: Meghan McCain Torches Governor Cuomo As ‘A Pig And A Pervert’ Over Sexual Harassment Claims

“We have been equally disturbed by the Governor’s response: he did not deny any of Charlotte Bennett’s specific allegations, failed to take any personal responsibility for his actions, and instead blamed his victims,” it read.

“We are calling on Governor Cuomo to resign immediately because he is unfit to serve the people of New York,” the statement finished.

It’s interesting to note that the nursing home scandal did not elicit any calls for resignation or impeachment.

Cuomo continues to get heat, left and right. Is he already done and just doesn’t realize it yet?

GOP lawmaker’s tweet about Nancy Pelosi during riot at U.S. Capitol sparks calls for her resignation

Just over one week ago, Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert went viral because of a video she sent out to Twitter in which she appeared to be strutting around Washington, D.C., with a Glock handgun. (A spokesperson for Boebert later clarified that the lawmaker was not actually carrying the gun throughout the video shoot.) Since then, the pro-Trump Colorado representative has gone viral for an even more nefarious reason. In fact, this isn’t even just a head-scratching digital ad. Many of her colleagues are calling for Boebert’s resignation over her behavior both before, and during, the pro-Trump insurgency against the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday.

Now, as a quick review, Congress was set to vote to certify the Electoral College vote for President-elect Joe Biden’s win. Boebert, who has fully leaned into efforts to overturn the presidential election results, formally objected. That morning, before the insurgency, she tweeted: “Today is 1776.” What she tweeted while rioters were actually at the Capitol is what’s really chilling.

Here is the 1776 tweet.

Today is 1776.

— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) January 6, 2021

While pro-Trump insurgents were descending upon the Capitol, many lawmakers did take to Twitter. Boebert joined them … and decided to tweet out that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had been removed from the House Chambers. Though she did not specify where Pelosi had been moved to, obviously this tweet stunned countless people. After all, the viral photo of a man with his foot up on Pelosi’s desk is not quick to leave any of our minds soon. Nor is the report of a man who traveled from Colorado to Washington, D.C. who was arrested for allegedly making threats against Pelosi. There are reports that some who invaded the Capitol were searching for not only Pelosi but also Vice President Mike Pence and Schumer.

So it’s safe to say Boebert’s tweets were both chilling and concerning.

The Speaker has been removed from the chambers.

— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) January 6, 2021

Boebert, however, only doubled down in releasing a statement on the calls for her resignation, saying in part, “We should take Democrats at their word when they say never let a crisis go to waste. Their hypocrisy is on full display with talks of impeachment, censure and other ways to punish Republicans for false accusations of inciting the type of violence they have so frequently and transparently supported in the past.”

In terms of her choice to tweet about Pelosi, Boebert argued, “They accuse me of live-tweeting the Speaker’s presence after she had been safely removed from the Capitol, as if I was revealing some big secret, when in fact this removal was also being broadcast on TV.”

She suggested that “leading Democrats” have encouraged “mob violence,” including former President Barack Obama and President-elect Joe Biden. She also accused a number of celebrities of doing the same, for who knows what reason, including Madonna and Johnny Depp.

And earlier Tuesday, she’s back with a pseudo unity call on Twitter.

Calling 75,000,000 Americans domestic terrorists is not unity.

— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) January 12, 2021

There are currently 211 House members, and 28 senators who are on record supporting impeachment & removal, and over 200 House members have cosponsored the impeachment resolution. Regardless of where your members of Congress stand, please send them a letter.

Republican Senator Pat Toomey Says Trump Committed Impeachable Acts

On Sunday, Republican Senator Pat Toomey said that President Donald Trump committed impeachable acts when he supposedly incited the Capitol Hill riot that happened on Wednesday.

Toomey made his comments on CNN’s “State of the Union” hosted by Jake Tapper.

RELATED: AOC Calls For Trump To Be Impeached – ‘We Came Close To Half Of The House Nearly Dying’

Toomey Not Sure There Is Enough Time For An Impeachment

Tapper said to the senator, “Your Republican colleague Senator Murkowski of Alaska says President Trump should resign. She said, quote, ‘He’s caused enough damage.’ Do you agree?”

Toomey replied, “Yeah, I do. I think at this point, with just a few days left, it’s the best path forward, the best way to get this person in the rearview mirror for us that could happen immediately.”

“I’m not optimistic it will,” Toomey added. “But I think that would be the best way forward.”

That is when the CNN host brought up impeachment.

Tapper asked, “Do you think the president should be impeached? Would you vote to remove him from office?”

‘The President Did Commit Impeachable Offenses’

Toomey responded, “I think the president did commit impeachable offenses. There is little doubt in my mind about that.”

Sen. Toomey then questioned the timing of a possible impeachment.

“I don’t know,” Toomey said. “As a practical matter, it is actually possible to do an impeachment in the handful of days that are left.”

“It is likely if the House does pass Articles of Impeachment, we wouldn’t get them until — I don’t know Tuesday or Wednesday,” Toomey added. “We are less than one week to go at that point.”
