Report: House Members Nearly Come To Blows As Congress Preaches Unity To America

Two House members nearly came to blows and had to be separated by a Capitol staffer after several lawmakers had preached about coming together as Americans.

The wild scene took place as lawmakers debated certifying the Electoral votes from Pennsylvania.

An altercation reportedly took place between Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) and Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), though what prompted it remains unclear.

Reporters in attendance, according to Fox News, suggest Pennsylvania Democratic Rep. Conor Lamb’s characterization of the violence earlier in the day may have prompted the scuffle.

“It didn’t materialize out of nowhere,” Lamb said of the violence. “It was inspired by lies. The same lies that you’re hearing in this room tonight.”

Republicans objected, to which Lamb responded, “The truth hurts!”

C-Span video captured Lamb speaking and a commotion behind him.

Harris is a 63-year-old U.S. Navy veteran while Allred is a 37-year-old former college football player at Baylor.

House Members Andy Harris and Colin Allred Almost Comes to Blows

Remarkably, this near-fight took place late into the night where lawmakers spent countless minutes preaching to the American people about unity and coming together.

After witnessing the violence at the Capitol, numerous Republicans backed down from contesting the election and defending the Constitution as some sort of olive branch to Democrats who have been fomenting discord for months.

Republican Sens. Steve Daines and James Lankford, CNN notes, said: “We must stand together as Americans. We must defend our Constitution and the rule of law.”

Yet Lamb accused lawmakers in the chamber of being liars for defending the Constitution. That doesn’t sound like coming together.

The House Literally Preached Unity

House Republican minority leader Kevin McCarthy received a standing ovation for a speech that stated while Democrats and Republicans might not agree on everything, “now is the moment to show America that we work best together.”

“Mobs don’t rule America. Laws rule America,” he added. “It was true when our cities were burning this summer and it is true now.”

And to symbolize that ‘unity,’ Mass Live reports:

The comment got loud applause from Republicans. Democrats in the chamber sat silently.

Just like they did for years’ worth of State of the Union speeches when President Trump repeatedly urged unity between the two parties.

The New York Times revealed that after President-elect Joe Biden’s victory had been certified by lawmakers, the Senate chaplain delivered “a powerful prayer calling for unity.”

“Use us to bring healing and unity to our hurting and divided nation and world,” chaplain Barry C. Black said. “Thank you for what you have blessed our lawmakers to accomplish in spite of threats to liberty.”

What a great example Lamb, Allred, and Harris have set.

Schiff Introduces Bill To Create Coronavirus Commission

Representative Adam Schiff has submitted a bill that would create a Senate commission to investigate the country’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Schiff: “Comprehensive and Authoritative Review Required”

Schiff had announced the creation of the commission at the start of the month, claiming that the country needed a 9/11 and Pearl Harbor style commission to “review our response and how we can better prepare for the next pandemic.”

On Friday, Schiff said that he had created a bill with Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris to establish such a commission.

“Though we are still in the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, over 16,000 Americans have died,” Schiff tweeted. “It’s clear we’ll need a bipartisan commission to ensure we’re better prepared for the next pandemic.”

“After Pearl Harbor, September 11, and other momentous events in American history, independent, bipartisan commissions have been established to provide a complete accounting of what happened, what we did right and wrong, and what we can do to better protect the country in the future,” Schiff said in a statement. “And though we are still early in this crisis, over sixteen thousand Americans have died so far. It is clear that a comprehensive and authoritative review will be required, not as a political exercise to cast blame, but to learn from our mistakes to prevent history from tragically repeating itself.”

The commission would be composed of 10 individuals, 5 Democrats and 5 Republicans, none of whom would be current federal officials, would possess subpoena power, and would proceed to make a full report on the outbreak and the nation’s response.

Impeachment 2.0!

This follows an announcement from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi about the creation of a Congressional committee to investigate the coronavirus. They will investigate the management of the bailout package to help coronavirus victims (which amounts to over $2 trillion of government spending), and the general response from the White House, President Trump and his administration to the pandemic.

We can all see what this is: it’s nothing more than “Impeachment 2.0.” Schiff and the other Democrats are still salty from the fact that President Trump is still in office, and want to batter him over the head with this deadly pandemic that has claimed over 18,000 American lives so far.

Schiff said the commission will be “bipartisan,” so why haven’t any Republican congressmen supported his bill? Surely a bipartisan commission, if necessary, would gain the support of legislators from across the aisle?

The fact that it hasn’t should be huge red flag.

Dr. Fauci Slaps Down CNN’s Jim Acosta Attempt To Say Trump’s Coronavirus Response Was Too Slow

CNN reporter Jim Acosta attempted to get Dr. Anthony Fauci to say the President didn’t react quickly enough to the coronavirus crisis. In fact, he said the exact opposite.

Acosta inquired as to whether or not the administration had taken enough action when countries such as South Korea and China were grappling with the outbreak.

The exchange between him and Fauci took place during Tuesday’s coronavirus task force briefing.

Acosta’s Accusation

The White House coronavirus task force announced yesterday that the pandemic may leave 100,000 to 240,000 people in the United States dead, with millions infected.

A somber President Trump announced that America could be in for “a very painful two weeks.”

Acosta couldn’t help but take that opportunity to point a finger of blame at the administration.

“This may be an uncomfortable question but what would the models have looked like … if we had started the social distancing guidelines sooner in February or January when China, South Korea were doing those,” he asked. “Could these models be different?”

Taken Out of Context

The President decided to yield this question to his experts, but not without first pointing out that his travel restrictions early on helped slow the spread, something Dr. Fauci has agreed with many times.

Dr. Deborah Birx stepped up and explained pushing back on the virus couldn’t necessarily start until testing results were available in the United States.

Acosta replied, “There may be Americans at home saying if we had started this sooner we might not have 100,000 to 200,000 Americans dying.”

Fauci followed up Birx’s comments by calling out Acosta for an attempt to find a quote and take it out of context.

“Just to underscore what Dr. Birx was saying, if there was no virus in the background there was nothing to mitigate,” he explained.

“If there was virus there that we didn’t know about than the answer to your question is probably yes,” Fauci continued. “The only trouble with that is that whenever you come out and say something like that it always becomes almost a soundbite that gets taken out of context.”

Very, Very Early

Ultimately, Dr. Fauci replied to Acosta’s question by saying that yes, the administration did act swiftly to help lessen the devastating impact of the coronavirus.

“But we were watching South Korea excuse me and China and Italy and we weren’t taking action when those countries were spiking,” Acosta insisted.

“In a perfect world it would’ve been nice to know what was going on there,” Fauci replied. “We didn’t but I believe Jim that we acted very, very early in that.”

Acosta tried once again to manipulate sound bites by leading people with “an uncomfortable question” and Fauci shot down that effort in a hurry.

The far-left CNN reporter tried the same thing a day earlier when he attempted to blame President Trump for not taking the virus seriously enough in the beginning.

That effort prompted the President to say, “Instead of asking a nasty, snarky question like that, you should ask a real question.”

Who knows, maybe he’ll try that approach next time. But we wouldn’t bet on it.

Schneider’s Response To Elizabeth Warren Hypocrisy Should Be Hall Of Fame Material!

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats have done more than any other group to divide the USA, make no mistake about it.

They are the ones who have led in dividing the country into “tribalism.” They are the ones who distinguished gay, straight, male, female, and all of the other fad genders. Rich, poor, capitalists, socialists, citizens, immigrants. They are the ones who have focused on these differences between Americans, highlighted those differences, stirred those differences against each other, and convinced many of these “tribes” that they are victims.

When I hear Democrats talk about “disinformation,” the hair on the back of my neck stands up. I am sick and tired of the hypocrisy. This nation is taking a beating because these politicians can’t play it straight to save their lives.

Says the woman who has been lying most of her life. Someone who lied about being Native American to get into Harvard free, she is the last one who should talk about the spreading of false information.

This election campaign and the Impeachment of Donald Trump has shown us that even those who are incompetent can be elected to congress. We need stricter rules and psychological tests to weed out the phoneys. Also, we need a lot fewer lawyers.

There is a saying in business, “never let a lawyer or an accountant run your business.” That holds true even for Government.

Thank God for Rob Schneider, who isn’t afraid to hold Warren accountable.

MORE NEWS: Warren Wants to Control Your Freedom of Speech

Great to see someone with a broad platform of followers call out the fools in our leadership roles. We follow each other on social media, so I like him even more.

The funnyman responded to a series of tweets sent by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., on Wednesday in which the presidential hopeful urged big tech companies to “fight the spread of false information that disempowers voters and undermines democracy.

“The stakes of this election are too high. We need to fight the spread of false information that disempowers voters and undermines democracy. I’ll do my part—and I’m calling on my fellow candidates and big tech companies to do their part, too,” Warren’s tweet read, which certainly didn’t sit well with the comedian.

“Thank YOU @ewarren for treating Americans like we are so completely f—— stupid that we can’t think for ourselves,” Schneider wrote. “Luckily we have leaders like YOU who can tell us what to believe & how to vote. You are right:the stakes are too high to trust the people to decide for themselves.”

The comedian didn’t stop there and issued a follow up four hours later and accused Warren of being a champion of censorship and standing in the way of free speech. [Fox News]

Amid Warren’s tweetstorm, she also made a “pledge” that she would “not knowingly” use or spread false information to benefit her candidacy or to damage anyone else’s campaign. What? Did Warren not know she was not native American or the reason she was fired from her teaching job, or that her kids went to private school? Does anyone believe this lady? She’s as much a compulsive liar like Hillary Clinton and Adam Schiff.

Dems refuse to admit that they spread disinformation themselves and that there are two reasons Donald Trump beat Hillary, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton.

MORE NEWS: Iowa’s Des Moines Register Endorses Elizabeth Warren as the Democrat Candidate

These candidates are so desperate for an original idea they eschew qualifiers like is it legal, is it ethical, is it part of the American fabric that shaped this country for 245 yrs? They give themselves a safety zone that allows them to step over the boundaries into socialism. Those who attend the rally event would cheer wildly even if she announced a plan to confiscate all children under the age of three years old in the name of environmental concerns.

NONE of these candidates can pull off even one of their campaign promises. Expense is the number one hurdle, and social upheaval is a close second. They may as well give a speech that says, “If you elect me President I will create so much chaos in our country our boarders will collapse, and other countries will, out of European progressive doctrine, come to our aid and we will finally realize the Obama vision of becoming Europe.”

Schneider is absolutely correct. Yes, the internet is the wild west. That’s OK. Learn to not be so freaking gullible and check stuff out.
