Cher Spreads Fake News Story Alleging That Trump Described Coronavirus As A ‘Hoax’

Singer and actress Cher blatantly spread fake news about President Donald Trump on Saturday when she perpetrated the false story that he had called the coronavirus a “hoax.”

Cher took to social media yesterday to share an NBC News story that had the misleading headline: “Trump calls coronavirus Democrats’ ‘new hoax.'”

The story itself makes it clear that the headline takes what Trump said out of context, as he really used the word “hoax” at a recent rally to describe the way that Democrats have politicized coronavirus and turned it into a weapon against him.

This did not stop Cher from sharing the story alongside one of her typical nonsensical captions in which she called Trump “nuts,” among other things.

It was at a rally in Charleston on Friday that Trump made the comment that has since been twisted by the mainstream media, who are desperate to make it look as if the president called coronavirus a hoax. When looking at the full statement Trump made, however, it makes a lot more sense.

“Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. They’re politicizing it,” Trump said, according to Breitbart News. “We did one of the great jobs, you say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa. They can’t even count!”

“One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia. That didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it,” he added. “They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They’ve been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost, it’s all turning. Think of it, and this is their new hoax.’”

The next day, Trump confirmed that when he used the word “hoax,” he was talking about Democrats’ attempts to blame coronavirus on him.

“No, hoax referring to the action that they take to try and pin this on somebody,” Trump said at a White House press conference. “That’s just a continuation of the hoax, whether its the impeachment hoax or the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax. This is what I’m talking about.”

Democrats have been working overtime to try and find some way to blame coronavirus on President Trump, and they’ve stooped to sharing clear fake news just to try and make this story fit their narrative. Only someone as small-minded as Cher would fall for this one, however, as the average American sees right through what the media is doing.

Mark Levin Blasts Pelosi and Schumer as the ‘Last People I Want Playing Doctor With Me or the American People’

Conservative talk host Mark Levin blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Democrats overall on Thursday for their criticism of President Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

‘The last people I want playing doctor with me or the American people are Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’

“I watch this and I realize there’s a lot of stupid people on TV,” Levin told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “The last people I want playing doctor with me or the American people are Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.”

RELATED: Joe Biden Really Just Claimed Half The American Population Has Been Killed By Gun Violence

Levin then read a number of things Trump has done since the outbreak began, even as Democrats accuse the administration for not having a good response.

“There’s no CDC cuts. There’s been [funding] increases,” Levin said. “Certain individuals have been quarantined by this president — the first time a U.S. president has done that in over half a century. The White House coronavirus task force was appointed over a month ago. The president temporarily suspended entry into the United States.”

Democrats Should Have Been More Worried About Coronavirus Than Impeachment

Levin said that while Trump’s team worked feverishly to contain the virus, Democrats were too busy worrying about the impeachment trial.

“From January 16 to February 5, the United States Senate was paralyzed by the House Democrats and Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi with this outrageous impeachment trial where the Senators had to sit on their hands, shut their mouths and couldn’t pass any business,” Levin charged.

“They couldn’t address the coronavirus because Pelosi and Schumer shut down the Congress,” he continued. “They don’t want to talk about that, do they?”

Levin then slammed the 2020 Democratic field.

Liberals Have No Answers

“The Democrats, they go to the microphone and they attack. They don’t know anything,” Levin said. “What is their plan? What is the Schumer-Pelosi-[Bernie] Sanders – [Amy] Klobuchar- [Michael] Bloomberg whatever plans? They have great plans for containment. Open borders, eliminate ICE, no vetting of foreigners, sanctuary cities, nationalize and destroy the greatest healthcare system, destroy our pharmaceutical companies … that will come up with the solutions? ”

“The answers won’t come from the liberals and the Democrats,” Levin added, “which is why they attack.”

If impeachment was bad politics for House Democrats, American voters sure don’t know it

Nearly six in 10 Americans say that the U.S. representative in their congressional district deserves to be reelected, the highest level of such sentiment recorded by Gallup since 2012. While only 35% similarly say that most members of Congress deserve reelection (as opposed to their own member), that's also a higher percentage than at any time since 2012.

What bodes so well for Democrats, obviously, is that they currently hold a commanding majority in the House. So when 59% of Americans are happy with the status quo, it redounds to Democrats’ advantage. As Gallup writes, “Democrats have a solid majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the elevated 59% of Americans saying their member of Congress deserves reelection augurs well for their bid to maintain their majority next year.”

Bette Midler Blasts Trump for Mocking the Oscars: ‘I’m More Upset That a Parasite Won the White House’

By PoliZette Staff | February 22, 2020

Hollywood star Bette Midler, who seems to bash President Donald Trump on a daily basis, just went after him once again on social media, this time for his comments mocking the Academy Awards.

During a rally in Colorado on Thursday, Trump slammed the fact that the foreign film “Parasite” won Best Picture at the Oscars earlier this month.

MORE NEWS: The five best presidents in American history

“The winner is a movie from South Korea. What the hell was that all about? We’ve got enough problems with South Korea, with trade,” Trump said. “And after all that, they give them best movie of the year?”

“Parasite” was the first foreign film to ever win Best Picture at the Oscars, and it also won awards for directing and original screenplay, according to Fox News. Midler took to her own Twitter page to make it clear that she was livid about Trump’s remarks.

“At his rally, #Trump complained about #Parasite winning the Oscar,” Midler tweeted. “I’m more upset that a parasite won the White House.”

Unfortunately for Midler, however, her tweet backfired on her when social media users used it to go after Barack Obama.

Thank goodness that parasite Barack Obama is gone!” one user wrote, with another adding, “Me too. I still can’t believe we had a parasite in the WH. 8 years of Obama was too much.”

During the same rally, Trump also went after Brad Pitt, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.” While accepting his award, Pitt used his speech to attack Republicans who shut down Democrats’ attempts to call more witnesses in the Trump Senate impeachment trial.

“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin [Tarantino] does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Trump had some choice words for Pitt over these comments.

“And then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a big fan of his,” Trump said. “He got up, said a little wise guy thing. He’s a little wise guy.”

MORE NEWS: Buttigieg invokes scripture to slam Trump, but nobody is buying it

Hollywood stars like Midler and Pitt don’t realize that when they go after Trump, they’re just making themselves look like out of touch liberal elitists who have no idea what they’re talking about. Trump did not become president to help wealthy liberals like them. Instead, he became president to help average working Americans who have been cast aside by Democrats.

Trump should know that if Midler and the rest of Hollywood keep bashing him, he’s just doing something right!

John Bolton Speaks Out, Blasts Democrats’ Impeachment Of Trump As ‘Grossly Partisan’

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton finally spoke out this week, slamming Democrats for their “grossly partisan” impeachment effort against President Donald Trump.

During a public appearance alongside Susan Rice, who had his same role in Barack Obama’s White House, Bolton said that his own testimony would not have changed the entire outcome of the Senate impeachment trial, according to the Associated Press. Despite what Democrats who wanted him to testify said, Bolton does not believe his testimony would have made a difference in the final impeachment vote.

“People can argue about what I should have said and what I should have done,” Bolton said. “I would bet you a dollar right here and now, my testimony would have made no difference to the ultimate outcome.”

He also said that the way Democrats handled the impeachment trial “drove Republicans who might have voted for impeachment away because it was so partisan.”

Rice disagreed with him, saying that nothing could have led her “to refuse to share information with Congress or the public that I thought was of national import.

“I can’t imagine withholding my testimony, with or without a subpoena,” she said. “I also can’t imagine, frankly, in the absence of being able to provide that information directly to Congress, not having exercised my First Amendment right to speak publicly at a time when my testimony or my experience would be relevant.”

Bolton, however, stood his ground, saying that the reason he didn’t “spill his guts” about Trump’s business dealings with Ukraine was that doing so would have led to him being prosecuted criminally. When asked if he would have complied with a subpoena from the White House, Bolton brought up the White House review process that is determining whether the contents of his upcoming book about working in the Trump administration can be disclosed.

“I’m not here to speculate on that with the pre-publication review process under way,” Bolton said as the audience laughed. “Laugh all you want. This is the judgment of my counsel, somebody I worked with 35 years ago, 30 years ago at the Department of Justice.”

Bolton is correct that his testimony would not have changed anything because it was clear from the get-go that the Senate would be voting along party lines. The only senator to break from his party was Mitt Romney (R-UT) who had his own personal vendetta against Trump. No other senators were swayed by the Democrats’ nonsense, as they saw right through their partisan effort. Nothing Bolton could say or not say would have had any impact on this.

Cher Comes Unglued—Claims Trump Is Going To Shoot Someone In New York City

By PoliZette Staff | February 19, 2020

In today’s example of a celebrity who has let Trump Derangement Syndrome completely consume them…

The actress and singer Cher’s Twitter attacks on President Donald Trump have become increasingly bizarre and deranged over the past few weeks. Now, Cher’s attacks have escalated to the point where she is claiming that Trump is about to commit murder.

Cher hopped back on her Twitter page this afternoon to say that Trump is about to shoot someone on 5th Avenue in New York City.

“Tired Of Hearing Ppl Say ‘THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED.’ Every time The ‘[nut] Job In Chief’ Steps Over a Line That’s NEVER Been Crossed,” Cher said. “SOON The Crazy Fk Will Shoot Someone on 5th Ave, & Say ‘I Could Have Done this Before, I Just Chose Not To.’ [America], He’s Your [baby]. Rock Him.”

Her tweet was posted alongside a link to a Washington Post article titled “Post-impeachment, Trump declares himself the ‘chief law enforcement officer’ of America.” The article discussed some of the things Trump has done since his impeachment acquittal, including his move to grant clemency this week to eleven people who had been imprisoned for non-violent offenses.

What that has to do with Trump allegedly planning to commit a murder in New York likely only makes sense in the fanatical mind of Cher…

This comes after Cher accused Trump of being a “limp, Vengeful imitation of a man” who’s afraid of Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), tweeting that on the night he refused to shake the House Speaker’s hand before his State of the Union address.

“MISUNDERSTOOD..HE SNUBBED HER,” Cher tweeted. . “IVE BEEN ALIVE THROUGH 13 PRESIDENTS,& HES THE MOST VENGEFUL ILLITERATE,LIMP, IMITATION OF A MAN EVER.HE USES:us:AS HIS PERSONAL ATM.THE REASON HE DIDNT WANT TO SHAKE NANCY’S HAND IS BECAUSE HER [hands] ARE BIGGER THAN HIS [hands]. HE’S ALSO AFRAID OF HER.”

Does Cher really not realize how insane she looks in her anti-Trump tweets? For goodness sake, Cher, get off Twitter for a day and get some help for your Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s clearly starting to eat away what’s left of your mind!

Trump’s pardons again make a mockery of Republican claims that he ever cared about corruption

Remember how Republicans spent months insisting that Donald Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine not because he wanted to cheat on the 2020 elections but because he really, really cared about corruption? Even though he never mentioned corruption in his first phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky? Even though the Pentagon certified that Ukraine was fighting corruption and should get the money?

Ha ha ha, yeah, all those claims Republicans made, against all the evidence, that Trump cared about corruption, and what does he do? Well, first, during his own impeachment trial, Trump stood side by side with a world leader charged with corruption to unveil a major foreign policy plan. Now he’s handing out pardons and sentence commutations to a corrupt politician, a corrupt former law enforcement official, a corrupt lobbyist, and a couple corrupt rich guys. So let’s take a stroll down memory lane all the way back a month or two to hear from Republicans about how much Trump cares about corruption.

Help Democrats retake the Senate! Can you give even $1 to the Democratic nominee in each of these competitive states?

“Corruption is not just prevalent in Ukraine. It’s the system. Our president said time out, time out, let’s check out this new guy,” according to Rep. Jim Jordan, during the impeachment inquiry.

”President Trump had good reason to be wary of Ukrainian election meddling against his campaign and of widespread corruption in that country,” said Rep. Devin Nunes.

“When it comes to sending US taxpayer money overseas, the president is focused on burden sharing and corruption,” Trump’s impeachment defense insisted.

Had Trump expressed serious concern about corruption anywhere before he turned his eyes to Ukraine? From Sen. Ron Johnson, “If the subject was Ukraine, he’s expressed his concern about corruption in Ukraine, which everybody understood was endemic―including [Ukrainian] President [Volodymyr] Zelensky, who won. So I haven’t talked to the president about other countries where that might have come up.”

Again and again they told us that Trump cared so much about corruption that he held up nearly $400 million in aid that Congress had appropriated for Ukraine and that the Defense Department had signed off on because of Ukrainian anti-corruption efforts. And then Trump goes ahead and commutes the sentence former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich got for trying to sell an open Senate seat to the highest bidder. He plans to pardon former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik, who committed perjury, tax fraud, and more.

So it goes. Donald Trump cares about corruption like he cares about anyone not named Donald (or possibly Ivanka) Trump: only when it benefits him to claim he does.

Nancy Pelosi Interrupts CNN’s Christiane Amanpour To Claim Trump Was Never Acquitted In Impeachment Trial

By PoliZette Staff | February 17, 2020

During an interview with CNN host Christiane Amanpour on Saturday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) bizarrely claimed that President Donald Trump was never actually acquitted in his Senate trial earlier this month. Of course, this is a blatant lie, as Trump was indeed acquitted by the Senate in 52-48 and a 53-47 votes.

While taking part in the CNN interview, Pelosi desperately tried to argue that Trump had not been acquitted because the Senate never called for more documents and witnesses during the trial.

“What about, though, the fact that the president seems liberated, and this is about democratic politics so I’m not asking you to criticize here, but he was acquitted, his poll ratings are high—” Amanpour began, before Pelosi interrupted her.

MORE NEWS: The five best presidents in American history

After awkwardly stammering for a few seconds, Pelosi said, “You can’t have an acquittal unless you have a trial, and you can’t have a trial unless you have witnesses and documents.

“So he can say he’s acquitted, and the headlines can say ‘acquitted,’ but he’s impeached forever, branded with that, and not vindicated,” she added, “and even the senators were saying, ‘Yes, it wasn’t right,’ but they didn’t have the courage to act upon that.”

If this is not fake news, I don’t know what is!

This is not the first time Pelosi has lied about Trump’s acquittal in this way. Before the trial ended, when it was clear an acquittal was coming, Pelosi said that the acquittal would not be valid unless Republicans senators called more witnesses, as Democrats had asked them to do.

“You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial,” Pelosi said, according to The Blaze. “And you don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation.”

MORE NEWS: The five worst presidents in American history

Given how Democrats behaved after Trump won the 2016 election, this new strategy of theirs when it comes to impeachment should come as a surprise to nobody. When an election or trial results in an outcome that Democrats do not like, they immediately refuse to accept it and argue that the entire process was never legitimate in the first place.

Regardless of what Pelosi says, the American people know that Trump was acquitted fair and square. The more she tries to say otherwise, the more likely it is that the majority of Americans will respond by voting to reelect Trump in November.

For Republicans in Trump’s cover-up it wasn’t about ‘heads on pikes,’ it was all about the money

In the latest Daily Kos/Civiqs poll, fully 60% of Americans disapprove of how the U.S. Senate conducted Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. The behavior of Senate Republicans following that trial probably won't get many cheers, either. The three most closely watched Republicans during the trial, those who pretended to be open-minded and committed to doing their jobs, have all popped up in the last few days with slathering praise for the Trump administration which let loose all the money once the trial was done. It turns out the issue wasn’t the threat of heads on pikes at all. It was all about the bribes.

Please give $1 to our nominee fund to help Democrats end McConnell's career as majority leader.

Retiring Sen. Lamar Alexander tweeted to thank Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue and Trump for the investment of "$9 million in Tennessee to provide and improve high-speed broadband infrastructure projects for 3,744 rural households, 31 businesses and 41 farms."

Sen. Lisa Murkowski had Transportation Secretary and Moscow Mitch spouse Elaine Chao to thank for "a $20M Port Infrastructure Development Program grant to the Port of Alaska to help offset the 1st phase costs of the Port’s desperately-needed modernization program, enabling safe, cost-effective, & reliable Port operations." That's a whole 1% of the estimated cost for the port. Was it worth a vote to keep the worst president ever to sit in the Oval Office?

You know, of course, who else is getting in on the action:

Great news! 19 Housing Authorities in Maine have been awarded more than $9.5 million to preserve & modernize affordable housing units that serve individuals with disabilities & low-income individuals and families.https://t.co/9FzNcL197P
