Trump Speaks: Angrily Condemns ‘Political Persecution’ As FBI Raids Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump slammed never-ending “political persecution” by Democrats as he confirmed his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida had been raided by the FBI.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement released Monday evening.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

CNN reports that the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home as part of an investigation into the handling of possible classified documents that may have been brought there.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Home Raided by FBI

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) said in February that Trump earlier this year had to return 15 boxes of documents that were improperly taken from the White House.

The FBI appears to be pursuing concerns of classified materials in the home of former President Trump, something that they provably dismissed and allowed Hillary Clinton to do when she served as Secretary of State.

Trump blasted the raid and suggested it was part of a coordinated weaponization of federal government agencies to stop him from running for President in 2024.

“Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries,” he stated. “Sadly, America has now become one of those countries, corrupt at a level not seen before.”

“The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax 11, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends, it is political targeting at the highest level!”

Supporters Come out in Droves

Numerous supporters of former President Donald Trump gathered outside his Mar-a-Lago home after news had spread of the FBI raid.

Several suggested the raid was a political move by the Department of Justice to prevent Trump from running again in 2024. Others simply concurred that it was political persecution.

“As soon as I saw it, I drove here from Tampa. This is nuts,” one man who had driven across the state told Fox News. “We all know what you’re trying to do, DOJ. You’re trying to create some kind of charge so he’s not going to be able to run for reelection.”

“They’re going to do anything they can to get him. They’re terrified of him,” another claimed.

A White House official claimed President Biden was not given advance notice of the FBI raid.

Lara Trump offered commentary hinting that the siege on Mar-a-Lago was more to do with the left and the establishment’s hatred of the former President.

“They detest Donald Trump, not just on the Democrat side, but the general establishment, because he’s not one of them, because he doesn’t play their game,” she said.

Lara Trump warned that if the Justice Department and the FBI are willing to do this to a former President, “think about what they could do to you.”

The Political Insider reported on Monday that the so-called Inflation Reduction Act passed by Senate Democrats over the weekend adds $80 billion to the IRS budget for enforcement purposes.

That budget would unleash roughly 87,000 new IRS auditors.

Matt Schlapp, the chairman of The American Conservative Union, says the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago demonstrates the Biden administration has converted the United States into a Third World country.

“President Biden’s politicized FBI just raided President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago,” he wrote. “This nation is becoming unrecognizable. Biden has successfully transformed America into a third-world country.”

Schlapp notes that a CPAC Texas straw poll shows respondents believe the greatest threat to America right now comes from within.

According to that poll, 91% of attendees believe the greatest threat to America is “internal forces such as the Deep State, public education and the mainstream media,” while just 8% pointed to “external forces such as Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.”

The Political Insider reports that beyond the investigation of classified documents, the Justice Department is also investigating Trump as part of a criminal probe into “efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.”

Trump Celebrates Defeat of Rep. Peter Meijer, Who Voted For Impeachment: ‘7 Down, 3 to Go!’

Representative Peter Meijer lost his Michigan primary battle against John Gibbs Tuesday, leading former President Donald Trump to celebrate the defeat of yet another Republican who voted in favor of his impeachment.

Meijer, who voted in favor of establishing a bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol insurrection and said prior to the primary that he does “not for a second” regret his impeachment vote, conceded to Gibbs early Wednesday morning.

Gibbs, an official who served within the Trump administration, had the backing of the former President and received a congratulatory phone call following the victory.

“I’ll see you soon,” Trump told him. “I’m very proud of you. That’s a great job.”

Peter Meijer Suffers Defeat, Trump Celebrates

Gibbs had described the primary defeat of Peter Meijer as “a battle for the heart and soul of the Republican party,” noting that the Republican congressman “betrayed his voters” by voting in favor of impeachment just days after being sworn into Congress.

Nobody could have been happier about the result than Trump.

“Fantastic night in Michigan! Tudor Dixon will be a great Governor. John Gibbs WON with a big surge in the end,” he wrote on his Truth Social media platform. “Not a good time for Impeachers – 7 down, 3 to go!”

Dixon also earned an endorsement from the former President and will now face Democrat incumbent Gretchen Whitmer in the gubernatorial race in Michigan following her primary win.

“Endorsements don’t get any more powerful or conclusive than the Endorsements of last night,” Trump wrote in another post. “I wonder if anyone will write or report that? Just asking?”

Meijer joins Representatives Tom Rice, who was soundly defeated in the Republican primary for South Carolina’s 7th District in June, and Adam Kinzinger (IL), Anthony Gonzalez (OH), Fred Upton (MI), and John Katko (NY), who all decided to flee Congress after voting to impeach Trump, as six of the “7 down” referenced by the former President.

Trump may be counting on Liz Cheney’s (WY) ouster as well, as she trails her opponent by 22-points in a primary scheduled less than two weeks away.

Trump Still Holds Power in the GOP

While the rate of impeachment voters being ousted from Congress is fairly high, it hasn’t been perfect.

Representative David Valadao (R-CA) fended off a primary challenge in June, though Trump did not endorse any candidate in the race.

Meanwhile, Representatives Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) and Dan Newhouse (R-WA) managed to earn a place amongst the top two in their district’s crowded fields, besting their Trump-backed opponents and meaning they will survive and advance to the general election.

Still, as Fox News reports, Tuesday’s results show Trump’s “immense grip over the Republican Party remains firm.”

They cite as further evidence victories by Blake Masters, who won the GOP Arizona Senate primary, and Mark Finchem, who won the Republican nomination for Arizona Secretary of State.

Masters moves on to Democratic Senator Mark Kelly in November in a key battleground state race that may determine if Republicans are able to win back the Senate majority.

Kari Lake, the Trump-backed former TV news anchor leads her primary for Governor of Arizona, though the results are still too close to call.

Three Republicans Who Voted to Impeach Trump Over Capitol Riot Fight For Their Political Lives in Tuesday’s Primaries

Three Republican lawmakers who voted in favor of impeaching Donald Trump for his alleged role in the January 6th riot at the Capitol will face primary challenges on Tuesday.

Representatives Peter Meijer (R-MI), Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA), and Dan Newhouse (R-WA), will all be fighting for their political lives against primary opponents who have the backing of the former President.

Meijer, who voted in favor of establishing a bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol insurrection and said he doesn’t regret his impeachment vote, “Not for a second,” will face off against Trump-endorsed John Gibbs in Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.

“This is a battle for the heart and soul of the Republican party,” Gibbs told the Washington Post. “What’s happening in my race is similar to what’s going on in the rest of the country. People feel the party isn’t representing what they want.”

Republicans Who Voted to Impeach Trump Face Difficult Primaries

Beutler and Newhouse, who also voted to impeach Trump, will be facing difficult primaries as well Tuesday. The two, like Meijer, voted in favor of establishing an independent commission to investigate the January 6 riot at the Capitol.

Beutler will be going up against several opponents in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District primary, including Army Special Forces veteran Joe Kent who received the endorsement of the former President.

Kent claims momentum in his race because “people are still furious” that she voted to impeach Trump.

Newhouse meanwhile, said his impeachment vote was due to Trump’s “inaction” during the riot and added that “our country needed a leader, and President Trump failed to fulfill his oath of office.”

He faces former police chief Loren Culp in Washington’s 4th Congressional District primary. Culp also received an endorsement from the likely 2024 Republican presidential nominee. The two will be facing six other nominees (5 Republicans and 1 Democrat).

“Having the endorsement of President Trump is huge,” Culp said.

Bad Track Record For Those Who Voted to Impeach

If history is any indicator, those Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump are going to struggle in their respective primaries.

Just over one month ago, Representative Tom Rice was soundly defeated in the Republican primary for South Carolina’s 7th District. Rice lost to Russell Fry, the South Carolina State House’s majority whip who earned Trump’s endorsement, doubling up his votes.

Another impeacher, Wyoming’s Liz Cheney, is trailing her primary opponent, Harriet Hageman, a Wyoming attorney who has the backing of Trump, by a whopping 22 percentage points.

Never Trump Republican Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) announced months ago that he was leaving Congress.

Representatives Anthony Gonzalez (OH), Fred Upton (MI), and John Katko (NY) have also decided to flee Congress after voting to impeach Trump.

Liz Cheney Says She’ll Make a Decision on Running For President in 2024 ‘Down the Road’

Representative Liz Cheney, the rabid anti-Trump vice chair of the House select committee investigating the Capitol riot, says she hasn’t made a decision on running for president in 2024 but would do so “down the road.”

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked the Wyoming congresswoman if she was “willing to run for President to try and stop” former President Donald Trump.

“At this point, I have not made a decision about 2024,” Cheney replied. “I’ll make a decision on 2024 down the road.”

Cheney suggests she is more focused on her work with the select committee, something she believes is “the single most important thing I’ve ever done professionally.”

Will Liz Cheney Run For President in 2024?

The entire segment discussing Liz Cheney’s 2024 prospects is unintentionally amusing. Sure, the dueling sad eyes battle – meant to convey just how serious they both are between Tapper and Cheney – is hilarious.

But the concept that Cheney would run for President after being ousted from her leadership position by her own party due to her antics, and now facing a huge polling deficit in the upcoming primary for Wyoming’s lone U.S. House seat in three weeks, is equally outrageous.

She’s about to get slaughtered at the ballot box for her congressional seat but she’ll somehow use that to catapult into the White House in 2024?

Cheney might get a handful of Democrat voters dismayed with their own party and unwilling to switch sides but it’s not going to be enough to even make a dent.

She’s been banking on that segment of the vote in Wyoming, The Political Insider has previously reported. But trailing by 22% seems to indicate it’s not nearly enough to propel her to victory.

Democrats don’t care about the anti-Trumpers – Cheney and Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) – except to create the illusion that their pursuit of the January 6 investigation is ‘bipartisan.’

Kinzinger had to learn that the hard way as well when announcing his retirement after Illinois Democrats used redrawn district lines to eliminate him from contention, despite his time serving as their puppet for the J6 committee.

Cheney’s Folks Like Her ‘Prospects’

An Associated Press report from March indicates that both Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are sending out feelers regarding a White House run in 2024.

Kinzinger, they write, is “considering a rough timeline for a potential presidential announcement,” while associates of Cheney are “openly talking up her White House prospects.”

“Their goal would not necessarily be to win the presidency,” the AP added. “Above all, they want to hinder Trump’s return to the White House.”

A noble cause… in their own minds.

The Political Insider reported back in April that Cheney refused to rule out a future run for President of the United States when asked.

“I’m not ruling anything in or out — ever is a long time,” she said.

Trump, who just overwhelmingly won a straw poll conducted by the conservative student activist group Turning Point USA on who they’d like to see represent the GOP in 2024, has little to worry about should Cheney mount a campaign.

Cheney’s most prolific voices of support appear to be Democrats on the select committee, Kinzinger, and noted Republican squishes John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and George W. Bush.

House Democrats Push Bill to Pack Supreme Court With Four More Justices

House Democrats are making an official effort to pack four additional associate justices onto the Supreme Court, expanding the total number from 9 to 13.

Such a move would presumably give a liberal tilt to the court by a 7-6 margin.

Representative Hank Johnson (D-GA), who sponsored the bill originally introduced in April of 2021, held a press conference with several other Democrat co-sponsors on Monday.

Johnson channeled President Biden’s messaging by describing the Supreme Court as “ultra right-wing” and claiming it is “at crisis with itself and with our democracy.”

Or, in English, he means “The Court didn’t do what we wanted.”

The Georgia lawmaker, who once famously asked during a House Armed Services Committee hearing if the island of Guam might capsize if too many people were on it, added that “basic freedoms are under assault” due to the current makeup of the Supreme Court.

Democrats Desperate to Pack the Supreme Court

Other House Democrats at the press conference pushing for legislation to pack the Supreme Court included Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ), Andy Levin (MI), Rashida Tlaib (MI), Mondaire Jones (NY), Sheila Jackson Lee (TX), Mark Takano (CA), and Jan Schakowsky (IL).

Tlaib unleashed, calling the six conservative justices “unelected” (because the other three must have been elected) and claiming they are “literally telling women they have no control over their bodies.” (They are not literally saying any such thing.)

Tlaib has denounced pro-lifers at rallies held outside the Supreme Court before, once telling those who don’t approve of abortion they “shouldn’t even want to have sex with me.”

Jones, one of the original co-sponsors of the bill, tried his hand at a Jedi mind trick, claiming the GOP had actually packed the Supreme Court as he touted the bill designed to actually pack the Supreme Court.

“The nightmare scenario of GOP court-packing is already upon us,” he told reporters. “That’s how they got this far-right 6-3 majority in the first place.”

Jones’ main beef appears to be an inability to get gun control legislation passed, something he referenced last month when threatening to do everything Democrats could to force it through.

“If the filibuster obstructs us, we will abolish it. If the Supreme Court objects, we will expand it,” Jones seethed. “And we will not rest until we have taken weapons of war out of circulation and our communities each and every day.”

RELATED: Dem Rep Jones Threatens To Abolish Filibuster, Pack The Supreme Court If Republicans Refuse To Cave On Gun Control

It Doesn’t Stop There

Currently, Johnson’s bill to pack the Supreme Court has 58 co-sponsors in the House but would likely die in the Senate where it would need 60 votes to overcome the filibuster.

Johnson made his case for urgency.

“We don’t have a generation to wait to reform the court,” he warned.

Johnson and his House colleagues have made it clear they will look at every opportunity to tilt the Supreme Court back in their favor.

Aside from simply packing the court with four justices which would magically give liberals a 7-6 advantage, Johnson, the chairman of the House Judiciary courts subcommittee, held a meeting that “discusses Congress’s impeachment authority” as a means to regulate “the conduct of Supreme Court justices.”

The aim of that meeting was to discuss the possibility of impeaching Clarence Thomas, the most conservative Justice currently serving on the Supreme Court.

A recent poll shows overwhelming opposition to packing the Supreme Court – 65% of respondents in a recent poll were opposed to the idea and only 26% were in favor.

Hollywood Conservative Jon Voight Calls On Joe Biden To Be Impeached

Conservative actor Jon Voight posted a video to social media earlier this week calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden.

The two-minute clip focuses mainly on crime issues and wonders if the “darkness” of the Biden years can “be lifted.”

“We have a troubled nation with much horror from these criminals that are ruining lives,” Voight states, “We must stop this now. We must bring back our nation’s safety.”

The Academy Award-winning actor pointed the finger at Biden for taking “down our morals, our true gift of the land of the free.”

“He must be impeached,” he added. “Don’t let this President Biden tear down every inch that was sacrificed with blood, sweat, and tears for his dictation of lies.”

Jon Voight: Impeach President Joe Biden

Polling consistently shows the American people are fed up with President Biden and his party’s soft-on-crime policies.

In a CBS News poll, 61 percent of voters disapprove of Biden’s handling of crime. Likewise, a Washington Post-ABC poll found Republicans hold a 12-point advantage on the issue of crime.

“We must protect this nation and bring back safety. We’re all feeling very unsafe,” Voight said before calling on Joe Biden to be impeached.

Aside from crime, there are several areas in which a Republican House could impeach the President or at least investigate the Biden administration.

Top of that list would be open borders.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) when asked if he believed similar to Jon Voight that Biden could be impeached said, “I do think there’s a chance of that.”

“Whether it’s justified or not, the Democrats weaponized impeachment,” Cruz continued. “They used it for partisan purposes to go after Trump because they disagreed with him.”

Cruz went on to explain that the border crisis and Biden’s “decision to just defy immigration laws” are the most likely grounds for impeachment.

Republican Representative Claudia Tenney of New York also demanded Joe Biden be impeached after police video surfaced showing illegal immigrants being flown by federal contractors into Westchester County Airport.

RELATED: NY Rep. Calls For Biden To Be Impeached After Police Video Shows Feds Flying Illegal Immigrants Into NY

Voight Calls Trump a ‘Hero’

Roughly one year prior to his video calling on Biden to be impeached, Midnight Cowboy actor Jon Voight appeared in another video defending President Donald Trump and his former lawyer Rudy Giuliani as “heroes of the United States.”

“We as a nation will stand up for these men, heroes of the United States of America because my friends God is our witness and he will show who’s boss,” he said. “Pray for justice and truth!”

Voight said Trump, while Democrats spent four years viciously attacking him and calling for his impeachment, is “the greatest president of this century.”

Aside from open borders, President Biden easily could have been impeached over the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

The incompetence behind the withdrawal led to a suicide bombing killing 13 service members, a retaliatory drone strike by the United States that killed 10 civilians – including an aid worker and 7 children – and hundreds of Americans being left behind for a significant period of time in the Taliban-controlled country.

The White House’s efforts to create a letter alongside the National School Boards Association (NSBA) that would spur an attempt to weaponize the FBI and DOJ against concerned parents whom they branded potential “domestic terrorists” also should have opened some eyes.

Biden’s bungling of the COVID response, where more Americans died under his watch with multiple vaccines and therapies available, should also prompt further scrutiny.

Democrats most certainly would have impeached Trump over it had he won in 2020.

Bitter Hillary Clinton Blasts Justice Clarence Thomas As ‘Angry’ Person ‘Of Grievance’

Hillary Clinton launched a personal attack against Justice Clarence Thomas, the only black man sitting on the Supreme Court, saying she has always known him to be an “angry” man and a “person of grievance.”

Clinton’s comments came about during an interview Tuesday on “CBS Mornings.”

“He’s been a person of grievance for as long as I’ve known him,” she said, telling host Gayle King that she went to law school with Thomas.

“Resentment, grievance, anger. And he has signaled in the past to lower courts, to state legislatures, find cases, pass laws, get them up,” continued Clinton. “I may not win the first, the second, or the third time, but we’re going to keep at it.”

Thomas wrote in his concurring opinion regarding the case that overturned Roe v. Wade last week that other cases using similar legal bases, such as the decision affirming the right to same-sex marriage, should come under review.

RELATED: Justice Alito’s Opinion Doesn’t Just Overturn Roe v. Wade, It Shreds It to Pieces

Hillary Clinton Hits Clarence Thomas With Racist Tropes

Hillary Clinton’s comments about Clarence Thomas being angry and aggrieved show she clearly lacks self-awareness. Has there been anybody in politics more bitter and petty than she has been since her embarrassing loss in 2016?

This is a woman who spent years angrily blaming everybody under the sun for her election loss in 2016 – Comey, Putin, Obama, the media, deplorables … you name it.

And honestly, who looks more like a ‘person of grievance’ – Thomas, the longest-serving Supreme Court justice, or his former law school colleague who is best known for having lost an election she had a 90+% chance of winning?

Hillary Clinton’s comments about Clarence Thomas would never be an acceptable form of criticism afforded Republicans of a black jurist or lawmaker.

CNN, when Barack Obama was President, published a column explaining that the ‘angry black man’ is a racist stereotype.

Certainly, they’ll point out that Clinton’s comments are exactly the same thing, right?

But then, what did you expect from the mouth of a Clinton?

This is, after all, a woman who once called black youth “superpredators” that we “must bring … to heel.”

A woman who said “they all look alike” when confusing Eric Holder and Cory Booker.

Clinton once told an African-American radio host that she always carries “hot sauce” in her bag.

Then there were a number of comments from both Bill and Hillary Clinton that the nation’s first black President was not qualified for the job.

“A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee,” husband Bill Clinton famously told the late Senator Ted Kennedy in trying to prop up Hillary.

Claims Women Are Going to Die

Aside from her outrageous comments about Clarence Thomas, Hillary Clinton responded to the overturning of Roe v. Wade with an analysis that is nearly indistinguishable from that of the Kardashian of Congress, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“There are so many things about it that are deeply distressing, but women are going to die, Gayle,” she told the CBS host. “Women are going to die.”

In fact, those are AOC’s very sentiments when she opined on the Supreme Court’s decision.

“This decision and this policy will kill people no matter what their spin and what their talking points are,” Representative Ocasio-Cortez said.

Contrary to Hillary’s belief that Thomas is an angry man full of grievance all his life, the conservative Supreme Court justice consistently flashes a rapier wit and sense of humor when speaking.

He recently quipped that he’d be willing to leave his seat on the court when his job performance was as bad as the media’s.

Now, I don’t care who you are. That’s funny right there.

In 2018, he mocked Senator Cory Booker for his infamous staged ‘Spartacus’ moment.

“Honorable – if we could use that word about more people who are in public life, people who actually ask the questions at confirmation hearings, instead of ‘Spartacus,'” Thomas chided.

A YouGov poll in 2021 shows Americans have the most favorable opinion of Thomas amongst all Supreme Court justices, with 37% approving of his performance, 33% not sure, and 30% disapproving.

Several left-wing pundits have speculated that the Supreme Court’s abortion ruling could catapult Clinton into the 2024 presidential race.

Clarence Thomas, Consistent Target Of The Left, Explains ‘Right Is Still Right Even If You Stand By Yourself’

Clarence Thomas, the longest-serving justice and just the second black justice to serve on the Supreme Court, is a consistent target of criticism from the left.

A recently surfaced video of Thomas’ remarks to the Heritage Foundation’s 2007 President’s Club Meeting provides insight into how he weathers the constant attacks and stands on his own morals and principles.

The conservative Justice credits “an abiding faith” and a “litany of humility” as a means to remain steady in public life.

He then provides the following incredible clip about standing for what you believe in regardless of what others may be saying or doing.

RELATED: AOC Wants ‘Consequences’ For Supreme Court Justices, Impeachment For Clarence Thomas

‘Right is Still Right’

Clarence Thomas’s speeches are always a source of inspiration as he is a gifted orator. But his words ring especially true as the Supreme Court receives consistent threats from the political left in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned.

A majority of Americans disapprove of the decision. That doesn’t mean the Court should cower in fear and make decisions based on public opinion rather than the rule of law.

“Whether people are mad at you has nothing to do with whether you’re right,” said Thomas during the 2007 speech.

“You know, you can be in the middle of a hurricane, or you can be on a calm day. North is still north,” he continued. “You could be in a thunderstorm. North is still north. People can yell at you. North is still north.”

“It doesn’t change fundamental things. And in this business, right is still right, even if you stand by yourself.”

It is a remarkable clip about having courage in your convictions. Perhaps Chief Justice John Roberts, who frequently sides with liberals on the court for the sole purpose of maintaining integrity with the public, should take some notes.

The entire speech can be seen below.

‘F*** Clarence Thomas’

The excerpt from Clarence Thomas’s speech is especially poignant in light of recent vile attacks against him and his character.

Far-left Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has repeatedly called to impeach him.

She believes his wife’s actions, emailing White House aides about election fraud concerns during the Capitol riot, are grounds for his impeachment.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson used a racist trope in his criticism of the Roe v. Wade ruling, calling Thomas ‘Uncle Clarence’ and wondering about his thoughts on the Loving v. Virginia civil rights case on interracial marriage.

Thomas’s wife is white.

Then there is Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, who launched a profane attack on Clarence Thomas last week during a Pride event in the city.

“F*** Clarence Thomas,” she yelled.

Lightfoot wouldn’t be put anywhere near a mayor’s office in any sane city in America, but thrives in a liberal cesspool like Chicago.

Prior to that, she issued a “call to arms,” claiming that the Court will be “coming for us next,” even as violent threats and assassination concerns were prevalent.

Thomas recently received an assist from Justice Sonia Sotomayor – who is the exact opposite of him politically – when she offered praise for her colleague, stating he is a very personable individual who “cares deeply” about the integrity of the court.

Sotomayor said despite their differences of opinion on how to help people, she and Clarence Thomas maintain a friendship because she knows he is a “man who cares deeply about the court as an institution … about the people who work here.”

Perhaps even more important than caring, Thomas understands that “north is north” and “right is still right” no matter who stands against you.

Democrat Rep. Speier Wants States Banning Abortions To Force ‘Impregnator’ To Pay $350,000 ‘Bond’

Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA), in an interview with CNN’s Jim Acosta, condemned the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and suggested that states banning abortion should force the “impregnator” to post a $350,000 “bond” to help take care of the child.

Speier, who shared her personal story of abortion on the House floor in a 2011 speech, was shown a clip of that moment during an interview with Acosta on Sunday.

“I realize the luxury, frankly, that I had,” to have an abortion at the time she explained, noting that luxury was “taken away from women today across this country.”

Speier went on to express agreement with fellow Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who suggested Supreme Court Justices need to be impeached because they “lied under oath.”

“There’s no question they lied and they did that under oath. So there should be consequences,” she concurred.

That’s when things turned very, very strange.

Jackie Speier: Force ‘Impregnator’ to Pay a Bond

In one of the more absurd responses to the abortion ruling by the Supreme Court, Representative Jackie Speier tossed out a suggestion that state legislatures take up bills that would force the “impregnator” to post a $350,000 bond to help care for the child.

“For all those states now saying a woman can’t get an abortion, I’d suggest their legislatures require the impregnators to put up a $350,000 bond so a mother can take care of that child,” she told Acosta.

Speier appears to, like many in her party, struggle to understand how sex works and that it takes two people to create life through pregnancy. She also seems to be a bit ignorant on the state of the economy and the number of people who have $350,000 in their bank accounts.

According to Open Secrets, Speier has a net worth of over $11 million.

Speier has made past arguments in which she focuses on the “impregnator” when it comes to abortion.

She warned in December as the case was being heard in the Supreme Court, “I think the country hasn’t seen the rage of women speaking out.”

She said pro-life laws are “intended to be misogynistic” and say nothing about the “responsibility of the impregnator.”

RELATED: Gun Rights Victory: Supreme Court Tosses New York Law Restricting Concealed Carry

Made the Argument Before

Just last month, Jackie Speier said the ‘impregnator’ should post a $300,000 bond and cited mask mandates when arguing the government shouldn’t have control of women’s bodies.

“He should be subject to a DNA test [and] required to post a $300,000 bond for the child,” she tweeted, suggesting the Supreme Court believes pregnancies are a result of “immaculate conception.”

“The same people who don’t want mask mandates imposed on their bodies are ready to take control of our uteruses,” she added.

Speier’s reaction to the abortion case is similar to that of Representative Cori Bush, who likewise wanted to focus on the ‘impregnator.’

In that case, Bush (D-MO) wanted to know why Congress hadn’t been taking up “sperm regulation legislation.”

“You know, there’s a reason why we don’t see sperm regulation legislation,” Bush said in an interview with MSNBC’s Joy Reid. “There’s a reason why we don’t see mandated vasectomies.”

“You know, the very idea that we would take away men’s bodily autonomy is outrageous, like, it’s unfathomable,” she added.

“But truthfully sperm are busy. It’s busy. Who is regulating that? Who is saying something about it? … Where is that legislation?”

Speier, meanwhile, has argued that abortion is such a ‘luxury’ in today’s world that it amounts to little more than one having their wisdom teeth extracted.

“Abortions are one of the safest procedures you could do on an outpatient basis, safer than doing an endoscopy or doing a wisdom teeth extraction,” said Speier.

Of course, that’s not true. It only applies if you’re willing to completely overlook the fact that neither an endoscopy nor wisdom teeth extraction involves the death of a baby.

AOC Wants ‘Consequences’ For Supreme Court Justices, Impeachment For Clarence Thomas

Far-left Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is calling for there to be “consequences” for Supreme Court Justices she claims “lied under oath” and suggested they need to face impeachment.

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion at the federal level.

Some Senators have claimed that by stating during their Senate confirmation hearings that Roe v. Wade was “settled” – which it was at the time they went through the nomination process – Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh “lied under oath.”

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), for example, released a statement indicating he “trusted Justice Gorsuch and Justice Kavanaugh when they testified under oath that they also believed” the landmark ruling was “settled legal precedent.”

“What I believe that the President and the Democratic Party needs to come to terms with is that this is not just a crisis of Roe, this is a crisis of our democracy,” AOC said in an interview with Chuck Todd on Sunday.

The congresswoman was then asked about investigations being launched as a means to remedy the left’s perceived grievance.

AOC Calls for Impeachment of Supreme Court Justices

Being a day that ends in ‘Y,’ AOC explained to Todd that investigations and possibly impeachment were the way to go following the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Todd asked her if she thinks “the House Judiciary Committee should begin the process of an investigation” into Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.

“If we allow Supreme Court nominees to lie under oath and secure lifetime appointments … we must see that through,” she said of possible investigations.

“There must be consequences for such a deeply destabilizing action and hostile takeover of our democratic institutions,” AOC hyperventilated. “This is a crisis of legitimacy.”

AOC then focused her ire toward justice Clarence Thomas, the longest-serving justice, the second black justice, and the most conservative member currently serving on the Supreme Court.

“We have a Supreme Court Justice whose wife participated in January 6th,” AOC said failing to discern between those who wanted election fraud investigated and those who took part in the Capitol riot.

AOC has targeted Thomas for impeachment for some time, following reports that Thomas’ wife, Virginia Thomas, exchanged text messages with Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows about alleged election fraud.

“Clarence Thomas should resign,” she has tweeted.

Ocasio-Cortez Calls Court ‘Illegitimate’

Kavanaugh has also been the subject of smears from the New York socialist, having been maligned by AOC for being “credibly” accused of sexual assault.

“Reminder that Brett Kavanaugh *still* remains credibly accused of sexual assault on multiple accounts [with] corroborated details [and] this year the FBI admitted it never fully investigated,” she tweeted in December.

“Yet the court is letting him decide on whether to legalize forced birth in the US,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

In reality, a Senate Judiciary report from 2018 which investigated the sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh showed there was “no evidence” to support any of the claims that were made against him – including the testimony of Christine Blasey Ford.

After the Supreme Court’s ruling, AOC joined protesters outside the building in chanting that the Court itself is “illegitimate,” even as Kavanaugh was the victim of an assassination attempt and there have been nearly 50 attacks on pro-life centers across the country.
