President Trump Announces He Will Not Attend Biden Inauguration

President Trump announced Friday morning that he will not be attending the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th,” the president wrote.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Trump vowed that there would be an “orderly transition” of power on the day that Biden’s inauguration and swearing-in ceremony will take place.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” the statement read.

Despite promising an orderly transition, the President said he would continue his fight against election fraud.

President Trump Won’t Attend Biden Inauguration

The media spin on this will most likely be that President Trump is not adhering to traditions because he is a disgrace to the office. Or that he is in hiding.

In reality, his avoiding the ceremony as tensions run high throughout the country is a wise decision.

The Capitol protests earlier in the week resulted in an unarmed 14-year Navy veteran being shot dead as three others succumbed to medical issues.

Capitol Police also announced the death of Officer Brian Sicknick, who sustained injuries during the violence.

Reports surfaced in November that officials involved in the planning of Biden’s inauguration were concerned his supporters won’t show and they’ll be “left with a mass gathering of Trump supporters in their place.”

Imagine if something like that happened now.

Trump Still Praises His Supporters

Historically, President Trump would not be the first sitting commander-in-chief who failed to attend the inauguration of his successor.

In fact, three incumbent presidents have refused to accompany the president-elect at their inauguration.

John Adams did not attend the inauguration of Thomas Jefferson in 1801 as he sought to return to his wife Abigail following the death of their son.

John Quincy Adams did not attend the ceremony for Andrew Jackson, while Andrew Johnson refused to attend for Ulysses S. Grant, who had made it known that he was unwilling to ride in the same carriage with his predecessor.

Prior to his message regarding the inauguration, President Trump sent out a tweet celebrating the “75,000,000 great American Patriots” who cast their ballots for him.

Those patriots, he said, “will have a giant voice long into the future.”

“They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape, or form!” the President added.

Since the Capitol riots, Democrats have demanded impeachment, removal from office using the 25th Amendment, banishment from social media, and floated the possibility of criminal charges for President Trump.

Immigrant rights groups demand ‘immediate impeachment’ of Trump for inciting violent mob

More than a dozen organizations including leading immigrant rights advocacy groups are calling for the “immediate impeachment, removal, and prosecution” of Donald Trump following his incitement of a violent mob that sacked the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. Following the white seditionist siege, five people, including a Capitol police officer, are dead.

“Donald Trump incited today’s violent attack on our democracy,” organizations including the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) and Presente said in the statement. “Every moment that he remains in office is a severe danger to our country. Congress must respond decisively and immediately. We call on Congress to immediately certify the election, impeach and remove Trump, and refer him for prosecution.”

The organizations also call for legislators who aided Trump in inciting this violent seditionist mob, including Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and Missouri (though he actually lives in Virginia) Republican Sen. Josh Hawley, to be punished by Congress. “Further, all members of Congress who joined Trump in inciting today’s violent coup attempt based on baseless, provable lies must be held accountable through censure, expulsion, or other means,” the organizations continue.

“As of Friday morning, 159 House Democrats and 22 Senate Democrats have issued statements supporting impeachment,” Daily Kos’ Joan McCarter writes. “A Republican, Sen. Ben Sasse, is also on board, saying that he will ‘definitely consider whatever articles [the House] might move because I believe the president has disregarded his oath of office. … What he did was wicked.’”

Yet Vice President Mike Pence, who has the power to begin the process to remove Trump from office using the 25th Amendment, is nowhere to be found. But that’s because Pence is also a soulless charlatan who cast away the couple of convictions he may have had to become a starry-eyed sidekick to a reality show host authoritarian.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that the House “may be prepared” to go ahead with impeachment if Pence doesn’t act first, but his inaction as Donald Trump continues to remain an ongoing threat to democratic values has made it clear the House must go ahead and act first—and now. “We cannot wait one day longer,” tweeted Faith for Black Lives, another one of the leading organizations to have signed the letter. “Congress must act TODAY.”

Federal Prosecutor Could Bring Criminal Charges Against President Trump For Capitol Violence

A federal prosecutor, questioned about President Trump’s role in the Capitol riots, refused to rule out criminal charges.

Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. Attorney for D.C., repeatedly assured reporters in a press call that he would investigate and charge “all actors” involved in Wednesday’s riot.

Journalists pressed Sherwin about Trump’s speech and what motivating factor it may have been in inciting supporters to storm the Capitol later in the day.

“I don’t want to sound like a broken record,” Sherwin said following a question specifically about the President.

“I’m going to stand by my earlier statement – we’re looking at all actors here, and anyone that had a role and the evidence fits the elements of a crime, they’re going to be charged.”

Sherwin Considering Criminal Charges For Trump, Refused To Prosecute BLM Rioters

Sherwin told reporters that prosecutors had filed 55 criminal cases, but warned: “In no regard is that the end … This is just the beginning.”

In September though, at the height of the Black Lives Matter riots across America that saw vandalism and arson at an exponentially greater degree, Sherwin dropped charges for all but one individual in his district.

“Noting the mass arrests three weeks ago of 42 people who police said were in a group that spray-painted buildings and set fire to patio umbrellas … acting U.S. attorney Michael Sherwin told Bowser in his own letter that he had no choice but to drop charges against all but one defendant,” the Washington Post reported.

In a letter to Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser, Sherwin advised that “facts and evidence will dictate criminal charges, not political leveraging or personal agenda.”

His letter was in response to Bowser’s own letter which accused Sherwin of lacking the “willingness” to prosecute protesters for crimes.

Democrats Are Unleashing Everything They Can To Erase President Trump

The Capitol riots have unleashed Democrats to pursue every avenue they have been fantasizing about over the past four years to remove President Trump from office and destroy his life.

The possibility of criminal charges would be a dream come true for the “resistance.”

And it would exemplify the double standard applied to Democrats and Republicans when it comes to criminal justice.

It was the left who spent months inciting violent protests and causing riots.

Remember – it was Maxine Waters who told her followers to accost Republicans at the grocery store.

It was Cory Booker who told supporters that they need to “get up in the face” of some members of Congress.

It was leftists who attacked Sarah Sanders and Ted Cruz in a restaurant.

Democrats were never threatened with criminal charges.

Democrats and a handful of cowards in the Republican Party have been calling for the impeachment of the President despite his term ending in less than two weeks.

Some members of Trump’s cabinet are reportedly considering using the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office before the 20th, with Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer gleefully jumping aboard.

They never let this man govern as President from day one. Now they’re going to erase him from history.

Democrats march toward another impeachment against Trump for deadly riot at Capitol

House Democrats are drafting new articles of impeachment against President Trump following a deadly riot at the Capitol Wednesday in a failed attempt to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden's presidential victory.

Democrats push for Trump to be impeached even after leaving office

Liberals are arguing President Trump could be subject to an impeachment trial even after President-elect Joseph R. Biden is sworn into office, urging lawmakers to move forward with a second impeachment of the sitting president just days before the incoming administration takes control.
