President Donald Trump called Friday on Congress to "expunge" his impeachment for abuse of power following his acquittal in the Senate. Trump was impeached in December on two charges related to his campaign to get Ukraine's government to start an corruption investigation into his Democratic election opponent Joe Biden. On Wednesday, the Republican majority in the Senate cleared Trump in only the third impeachment trial of a president in history.
Gordon Sondland had served as ambassador to the EU and had provided pivotal testimony in the House impeachment inquiry, as had Alexander Vindman.

In the days since conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh announced his diagnosis with stage 4 lung cancer, liberals have shown what little class they really have, as many of them have been celebrating his illness. Now, however, this has come back to bite one of these heartless leftists in a big way.
A teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been placed on leave after social media posts surfaced in which he described Limbaugh’s diagnosis as “awesome,” according to Fox6Now.
Travis Sarandos, an English teacher at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, responded to a tweet in which someone expressed hopes that Limbaugh would recover by writing, “limbaugh absolutely should have to suffer from cancer. it’s awesome that he’s dying, and hopefully it is as quick as it is painful.”

When Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan found the tweet, he demanded that the school take disciplinary action against Sarandos.
“It’s so disappointing, and as far as I’m concerned, he needs to go,” Donovan said. “This kind of hatred has no role to play in people who are teaching our kids. It’s there. It’s out there, and you can’t hide. I just think it’s terrible.”
Donovan also released a lengthy statement in which he explained that Sarandos had previously made anti-Christian comments on his Twitter page.
“Not content to confine his rage to pundits, Mr. Sarandos earlier despaired for our collective future absent the extinction — the extinction, mind you — of Christian conservative voters,” he said. “As a possible remedy to their presence in the voting public he suggested, ‘…maybe we poison the communion wine?'”
A spokesman for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) responded by saying that the district had indeed taken action against Sarandos.
“We are aware of Mr. Sarandos’ actions and can confirm that he was not speaking on behalf of any students or staff of Milwaukee High School of the Arts or Milwaukee Public Schools. The district is following policy and procedures related to personnel matters,” the spokesman said. “Mr. Sarandos has been placed on leave pending further investigation.”
Sarandos, who has suspended his Twitter account in the wake of the scandal, released a brief statement as well.

“I regret the statements,” he said. “It was meant as a joke, but it was in very poor taste. I do not have any further comment.”
It’s absolutely despicable that someone would celebrate the cancer diagnosis of another human being, regardless of their political beliefs. While it’s good that MPS has taken action by suspending Sarandos, they should take this one step further and fire him. Someone with his kind of views has no business shaping the minds of the next generation.

He goes out of his way to be as PC as is humanly possible and he still can’t please the assorted fever swamps of the left. I mean, what more can he do?
Granted, he abused their sensibilities by serving his nation in uniform, does not support the complete socialization of American healthcare, and may actually have working cognitive abilities, as he was a Rhodes Scholar.

But on the other hand to progressives he’s fashionably gay, his dad was a Marxist professor, he supports partial birth abortion, he thinks climate change is a real thing, and generally toes most of the rest of the ridiculous leftist line.
And, as was the smart move, he saw how well he was doing in Iowa and declared victory. That got him what momentum there was to be had out of the caucus disaster.
However, some women who are Warren and Klobuchar pawns are going after him for “white male privilege” for calling himself an Iowa winner.
They think this was quite presumptuous on his part and thus nasty toxic male behavior. Not really, they just want to beat him in New Hampshire and will do or say anything to do it.
Here’s one of the coddled feminist mouthpieces, former Democratic NH House Speaker Terie Norelli, playing the victim card, “I think that’s just a symptom of white male privilege, right? You guys don’t even realize what’s happening, because you are privileged to be able to walk through this world in the way that you do. And so whether it’s gender privilege, or skin color privilege, or wealth privilege, and I think people who have privilege generally, are often not even aware of it and certainly are generally not willing to give it up.”
Yeah Terie, politicians like you have no privilege at all, right?

Noted social commentator and American Greatness writer Elizabeth Fortunato puts it this way, “Buttigieg’s pandering vexes feminists and he forces to the surface the sibling rivalries on the progressive left.”
She nails it.
To the radical feminist left he may be a liberal gay guy who they agree with 80% of the time. But more importantly, he’s still a guy. Thus they can tag him as a serial toxic oppressor of all of harpydom only worthy of disdain, calumny, and electoral loss.
Sorry Pete. Gals can be tough, huh?

Conservative actor James Woods, after a nearly 10-month hiatus, is back on Twitter, and he immediately went off on a host of liberal politicians as only he can.
Woods, best known for his roles in the films Once Upon a Time in America and Casino, made his triumphant return to the social media platform by making a mockery of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Sharing a video of the New York socialist arguing before Congress that the common phrase ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ is a literal impossibility, Woods announced he was back.
“I’ve tried so hard this past year to live without the wealth of knowledge available on Twitter, but this kind of blazing insight can be found nowhere else, so… I’m back!” he explained.
Woods added the hashtag “#AOCStillAMoron.”

While most mere mortals would have rested on their laurels (Wait, laurels? Somebody ask AOC if it’s literally possible to sleep on shrubs), Woods fired off a number of other gems to entertain the masses.
Sharing a report that several women of color had abandoned presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren’s campaign, Woods wrote: “Not enough room in the Warren TeePee for women of color? Not a surprise, considering what a liar and hypocrite she has been since, well, forever…”
Woods shared a post by Hillary Clinton regarding the impeachment witch hunt of President Trump and needled her over her epic election loss.
“You, of course, will never be impeached,” he surmised. “One up side to being the most famous loser in American history.”
Even Senator Mitt Romney, who recently was the only Republican to vote in favor of convicting President Trump during the impeachment trial, was unable to escape Woods’ wrath.
“This is the guy who passes a silent stinker in the elevator and then proceeds to lecture everybody about intestinal management,” he said of Romney. “You’ll never come back from this one, Mittens. Even your magic pants won’t save you.”

Woods is a favorite of conservatives on Twitter because he is the rare Republican residing in the liberal cesspool of Hollywood and he rarely, rarely holds back on his feelings.
He has often tried baiting Hillary into making another run against Trump in 2020 because he knows she’d be a three-time Presidential loser.

Clinton, it has been reported, would not refuse the role of vice president should it be offered.

Woods was suspended from Twitter in April under the guise of “targetted harassment,” an oft-used excuse by the social media platform to censor conservatives.
In May, he announced that he was fed up with repeated attempts to censor his comments and said he had no intention of using Twitter again.
We’re glad he changed his mind. Stick around for a while, eh Mr. Woods? Things are just starting to get interesting as the election draws near.
