Washington Post Reporter: Democrats Want to Repeal 22nd Amendment And Give Obama a Third Term

Washington Post reporter Robert Costa suggested that Democrats are looking into repealing the 22nd Amendment so that Barack Obama can serve as President for a third term.

The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1951 after the re-election of Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt for a fourth term, set a two-term limit for the presidency.

Costa’s comments come after Obama’s speech at the DNC, which was lauded, of course, by the liberal media.

Obama’s Third Term?

“They see what happened tonight in the Democratic convention and they see that Obama coalition reassembling. This is such an important time in America, we remember the 19th Amendment,” Costa said. “But talking to Republicans and Democrats in recent minutes, it’s clear that they’re not only talking about the 19th Amendment these days or tonight.”

“They’re talking about the 22nd Amendment that bans a president from going beyond two terms,” the reporter gushed. “Democrats are looking at that Obama speech tonight and saying maybe one day he could come back? Maybe the 22nd Amendment could be repealed?”

Costa, it should be said, is considered a straight news reporter, not an opinion host.

Democrats Dream of Obama

Obama’s speech may have been a dream come true for two parties – Democrats desperate to replace President Trump, and the media. Of course, those two entities are one and the same.

To the rest of America, it was a sad speech from a man desperate to salvage his legacy.

The former President perpetually insinuated that democracy hangs in the balance if Joe Biden doesn’t defeat Trump, using the term 18 times during his speech.

Which led former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to fire back.

“President Obama’s rhetoric about democracy would carry more weight if his administration hadn’t illegally spied on the Trump campaign and tried to overturn the results of the 2016 election,” she fired back.

Imagine a Third Term For Trump?

Having a straight news reporter drool over Obama’s speech to the point where he openly fantasizes about a third term is practically expected from today’s DNC-endorsed media.

But it’s really rich when knowing full-well that President Trump has joked about the very same thing and the media has had a collective aneurysm each time.

Most recently, the President suggested that he gets a do-over on his first term since Democrats sabotaged it with impeachment hoaxes, investigations, and spying.

We’re going to win, Trump said, “And then after that, we’ll go for another four years because you know what? They spied on my campaign. We should get a re-do of four years.”

Pam Keith, a Democrat running for Congress in Florida’s 18th Congressional District, whined that he wasn’t joking and that it was super-serious you guys!

“He’s NOT joking. He’s delusional, but NOT trying to be funny,” she tweeted. “It’s imperative that we put this nightmarish s***show to an end IMMEDIATELY!!”

The only nightmare here was the man in the White House for eight years prior to Trump.

Susan Rice: Loss of Over 150,000 American Lives To COVID Is On Donald Trump

Susan Rice, in an interview with the ladies of “The View,” blamed President Donald Trump for the lives lost during the coronavirus pandemic, claiming the previous administration had set him up for success.

That’s right – Rice, whose only notable accomplishment as Barack Obama’s former National Security Adviser was shirking responsibility for a terrorist attack – believes the President must shoulder the blame.

Co-host Sunny Hostin set Rice up with a perfect slow-pitch softball toss, making her line of questioning seem almost assuredly scripted and coordinated.

“Ambassador, I do want to talk to you then about the coronavirus because President Trump has said nobody could have predicted this pandemic,” she said before walking her through the answer.

“But the Obama administration did predict a pandemic and you personally tried to prepare the incoming administration for something just like this, leaving essentially a pandemic playbook that warned of this type of virus happening,” Hostin alleged.

“So who is really to blame for the abysmal response here and the death of 150,000 Americans?”

Rice Points the Finger

Rice smirked prior to answering as if to say “thanks for the setup.” And then she unloaded on President Trump.

“So the fault here, the tragic loss of 150,000 Americans and counting is on Donald Trump and his gross mishandling of this pandemic,” she claimed. “He said it would go away. He likened it to the flu.”

Nowhere did she mention Andrew Cuomo shoving elderly patients into nursing homes. Nowhere did she mention the Democrat impeachment hoax being conducted while the pandemic was hitting our shores.

She did not blame Nancy Pelosi who encouraged her constituents to tour Chinatown in late February because coronavirus fears were “unwarranted.”

She did not blame Bill de Blasio who told New York City residents to “get out on the town despite coronavirus.”

No, every misstep along the path of a historical pandemic was the President’s and the President’s alone.

Maybe he should have just blamed the whole thing on an obscure YouTube video.

Pandemic For Dummies

Rice, who is desperately angling for the Vice President role for Joe Biden’s campaign, claimed everybody knew the coronavirus pandemic was “inevitable.”

“We prepared the incoming administration with a ‘Pandemic for Dummies’ playbook and a tabletop exercise and so many other briefings,” she said.

The media have been anxiously pushing a narrative that the Trump administration ditched that playbook. The reality, according to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, is that the Obama pandemic response plan was inadequate.

“Some have erroneously suggested that the Trump administration threw out the pandemic response playbook left by the Obama-Biden administration,” McEnany told reporters. “What the critics failed to note, however, is that this thin packet of paper was replaced by two detailed, robust pandemic response reports commissioned by the Trump administration.”

Additionally, the Obama administration’s response to the swine flu epidemic in 2009 left the nation with a significant shortage of medical masks, something they never bothered to replenish.

Masks, of course, have been the key to fighting off the spread of this virus.

That year also saw Obama scrap the White House Health and Security Office, which worked on international health issues.

Aside from thinking Trump is the only man responsible for the pandemic, Susan Rice has made other wild claims, including the notion that citing the virus’ origin from China is “shameful” and “designed to stigmatize people of Asian descent.”

As House Judiciary Committee member Matt Gaetz has said: “If lies were music, Susan Rice would be Mozart.”

Michelle and Barack Obama Lob Insults At President Trump In First Podcast

Michelle and Barack Obama took a few childish swipes at President Trump during the former First Lady’s debut podcast on Spotify.

The premiere episode was reportedly designed to be America’s “nationwide reckoning with race” and aims to “show us what’s possible when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to open up, and to focus on what matters most.”

Apparently what ‘matters most’ is taking shots at your successor while never actually having the courage to name them outright.

The Huffington Post reports that Barack at one point discussed how young people’s interest in government is generally limited to when something goes wrong.

“We’re getting a good lesson in that right now,” he derided.

Perhaps he was referring to the Do Nothing Democrats and their impeachment scams, but we suspect this was directed at Trump.

Suggests Trump Is Ignorant

In another not-so-subtle jab at the President, the pair discussed turning out voters in the next election.

Barack considers himself an optimist, trumpeting “I’m the ‘Yes, We Can!’ man. I am the ‘audacity of hope’ guy.”

“I think where we disagree is usually you [Michelle] just think things just have to get super, super bad before folks figure stuff out,” the former President lamented.

Mrs. Obama replied, “Well, I hope we’re at that point.”

She continued, “Well, as you pointed out as a former president who reads and knows history – Let’s just take moment to pause and think about that – But as that person, you understand the arc of progress.”

A pretty clear shot at President Trump, inferring he is ignorant. Bitterness, party of two.

Classless

What else would you expect from a pair of classless narcissists who have constantly taken shots at the President since they left the White House?

Two years ago, Mr. Obama strongly suggested that the world has ongoing problems because Trump is an angry racist with “mommy issues.”

The former President even took a shot at his successor by comparing this administration to 1930s Germany.

And speaking of audacity, Obama had the gall to suggest he and Democrat Joe Biden always took responsibility for their mistakes when they were in the White House.

“Can you imagine standing up when you were president and saying ‘it’s not my responsibility. I take no responsibility.’ Literally. Literally,” Biden asked his former boss.

“Those words didn’t come out of our mouths when we were in office,” replied Obama.

Obama To Biden: We Always Took Responsibility For Our Mistakes

Former President Barack Obama had a sit down with Joe Biden where the duo spoke about how their administration always took responsibility for their mistakes.

Biden posted a video to his Twitter account of the socially-distanced meeting along with the caption “44 + 46,” a reference to their possible presidential line numbers.

The video is a teaser of the conversation between the previous president and vice president.

In the clip, Biden and Obama criticize President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Can you imagine standing up when you were president and saying ‘it’s not my responsibility. I take no responsibility.’ Literally. Literally,” Biden asked.

“Those words didn’t come out of our mouths when we were in office,” replied Obama.

Blamed Benghazi on a YouTube Video

Now, when you’re dealing with two skilled and accomplished liars in Biden and Obama, there is a lot to unpack in their comments. Even with just a couple of short sentences.

Let’s begin with Biden’s claim that Trump hasn’t taken responsibility for the pandemic.

While it is true that the President said he doesn’t “take responsibility at all” over four months ago when it was clear that Democrats had impeded congressional efforts to address COVID-19 by hosting an impeachment circus, more recent comments have differed.

In an interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, he said: “I take responsibility always for everything because it’s ultimately my job, too. I have to get everybody in line.”

As for Obama saying of shirking responsibility that “those words didn’t come out of our mouths” – what absolute gall.

This was an administration – from Obama to Biden, down to Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice – who refused responsibility for the Benghazi terrorist attack in 2012 that killed four Americans, instead deliberately crafting a lie to the public involving an obscure anti-Muslim YouTube video.

At first, they tossed Rice under the bus, forcing her on news stations to repeat the lie over and over again. Clinton would later be tossed under the bus as well.

It took several weeks for Obama to suggest he took any responsibility for the lives lost in Libya, and only did so as the controversy refused to subside and he faced election against Mitt Romney.

Biden, on the other hand, continued to lie.

Doesn’t Stop at Benghazi

When did Obama and Biden take responsibility for spying on Trump’s presidential campaign? We must have missed it.

Some Obama-era officials may have no choice but to accept responsibility for the biggest political scandal of our time according to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

In discussing the investigation by U.S. Attorney John Durham into the origins of the Russia collusion probe, Meadows said he “expect(s) indictments.”

“It’s all starting to come unraveled,” he said. “It’s all unraveling. And I tell you, it’s time that people go to jail and people are indicted.”

Aside from that, Obama and Biden took responsibility for everything else.

Just kidding.

One of Obama’s favorite targets for finger-pointing was his predecessor, former President George W. Bush:

And, of course, Obama blamed Fox News for everything that ailed his failure of a presidency. He blamed Russia for Hillary’s 2016 election loss. Not the fact that he was essentially on the ballot for a third term by proxy.

Despite their claims in the Biden video, passing the buck during difficult times was a hallmark of the Obama presidency.

House Democrats Tell Supreme Court They’re Still Looking To Impeach Trump

House Democrats revealed to the Supreme Court Monday that they have not given up on their impeachment dreams as they seek secret grand jury material from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Talk about kicking a dead horse.

Douglas Letter, the House general counsel, said in a court filing that “The Committee’s impeachment investigation related to obstruction of justice pertaining to the Russia investigation is ongoing.”

“If this material reveals new evidence supporting the conclusion that President Trump committed impeachable offenses,” Letter continues, “the Committee will proceed accordingly – including, if necessary, by considering whether to recommend new articles of impeachment.”

Aren’t You Embarrassed?

This latest move reminds me of a bit by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco where he asks with utter amazement at people too dumb to comprehend their own actions, “Aren’t you embarrassed?”

We know Democrat lawmakers aren’t, but what about Democrat voters? Is there no shame in these endless efforts to overturn the 2016 election? Especially in light of what has come out in recent weeks.

The House Democrats told the Supreme Court they are now looking into “the possible exercise of improper political influence over recent decisions made in the Roger Stone and Michael Flynn prosecutions, both of which were initiated by the special counsel.”

Talk about having no concept of reality.

Democrats Should Be Investigated

Pursuing ‘improper political influence’ regarding the Flynn case, when clear-cut evidence showing Barack Obama’s FBI maliciously entrapped the former national security adviser, is next-level insanity.

Handwritten notes from the day Flynn was interviewed by the FBI show a questioning of the goal behind the interaction: “Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”

The context of the FBI’s goal proved too much for the Justice Department to argue that he was not entrapped by bad-faith actors.

Couple this with the revelation that every single witness interviewed during the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe admitted they had no evidence of Russia collusion – the very basis of Mueller’s witch hunt – and you begin to understand Democrats are not tethered to reality.

President Trump, speaking on the news of Flynn’s malicious prosecution and the Obama administration’s efforts to concoct a Russian collusion narrative, called those behind it “human scum.”

“They’re scum and I say it a lot, they’re scum, they’re human scum. This should never have happened in this country,” he seethed.

“The Obama administration Justice Department was a disgrace and they got caught. They got caught. Very dishonest people. But much more than dis – it’s treason, it’s treason.”

Attorney General William Barr on Monday said, “What happened to the president in the 2016 election in the first two years of his administration was abhorrent. It was a grave injustice and it was unprecedented in American history.”

So, why are Democrats still actively investigating the President for these same fake crimes when it is they who should be investigated and removed from their positions?

Rand Paul: Biden ‘Caught Red-Handed’ Using Government Spying To Go After ‘Political Opponent’

On Wednesday, Senator Rand Paul responded to former Vice President Joe Biden being one of a number of high ranking Obama administration officials who may have received intelligence from unmasking requests targeting Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security advisor.

This is all according to newly-declassified documents by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, to which the senator said Biden was “caught red-handed” using U.S. spy powers to “go after a political opponent.”

Paul went into detail during a press conference on Wednesday.

Paul: ‘Almost everyone in President Obama’s top circle wanted to see this and wanted to listen to this conversation’

A reporter asked Paul, “If this happens to a current president, this would be an impeachable offense, if not a criminal offense.”

“Can you imagine? Yeah,” Paul responded.

Another reporter queried the senator, “Would you like there to be criminal charges brought against them?”

He replied, “I think we need to get to the bottom of this, and I think the first thing is to interview, under oath, [Acting] Director of National Intelligence [Grenell] and get to the bottom of what goes on with unmasking. How unusual is this that the entire upper echelon — individually it wasn’t just one request for this, there were dozens of requests. Almost everyone in President Obama’s top circle wanted to see this and wanted to listen to this conversation.”

President Trump: ‘The unmasking is a massive thing’

President Trump said later on Wednesday in the wake of this recent news, “The unmasking is a massive thing. I just got a list. Who can believe a thing like this?”

 

Paul had more thoughts at his press conference.

“But this is troubling,” Paul continued. “This isn’t about national security, this is about eavesdropping on your opponent and eavesdropping on the new president’s top advisor. This is very, very troubling. This was being led by at least by Vice President Biden, if not [President Obama], and we need to get to the bottom of it to make sure it never happens again.”

“For the average American, they’re worried that this could happen to a top general like Flynn, but could you imagine this power being unharnessed on an ordinary American? How would we defend ourselves?” Paul wondered.

 

After another reporter questioned what the timeline and larger context of the unmasking might have looked like, Paul made further comments.

“The way I read it, is it looks like each of these administration officials actually individually requested to listen to this conversation,” Paul said. “It was like, well, someone says, ‘why don’t we have someone go listen to this and send the transcript around.’ It sounds like each of these people individually did.”

The senator continued, “These rumors have been going around for years that President Obama’s administration was abusing this power of unmaking, and this sounds like these were abusing it to go after a political opponent, which I think is a very serious offense and should be investigated — and the fact that Vice President Biden is directly involved with unmasking a political opponent. Think about it.”

Paul: Biden caught ‘red-handed’

Then Sen. Paul reminded the press of recent history concerning accusations about corruption and coverups.

“Remember we went through this thing called impeachment? ” Paul said. “They said President Trump was using the government to go after a political opponent?”

“This is Vice President Biden using the spying powers of the United States to go after a political opponent,” Paul declared.

“He’s caught red-handed here,” he finished.

CNN’s Don Lemon Goes On Wild Anti-Trump Rant: ‘What Is It About President Obama That Really Gets Under Your Skin?’

CNN anchor Don Lemon went hard against Donald Trump on Sunday, taunting the President and asking why former President Barack Obama gets “under” his “skin” so much.

After President Trump re-tweeted a conspiracy theory that Obama was “running the Russian hoax,” Lemon said the Commander-in-Chief’s re-tweet “a new low from a president who goes low all the time.”

Lemon Taunts Trump

Lemon said that it was “a shameless attempt to distract from” Trump and the administration’s “mishandling” of the COVID-19 crisis.

Then his rant went into comparing Obama and Trump.

“Hm. Boy, oh, boy, that’s leadership,” Lemon said after playing a clip of Obama talking about the coronavirus pandemic. “That’s compassion. It’s too bad that President Trump can’t show either. By the way, what is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin? Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better educated?”

 

‘What is it about him? That he’s a black man that’s accomplished?’

“Made it on his own, didn’t need daddy’s help, wife is more accomplished, better looking, I know know, what is it?” Lemon said sarcastically. “What is it about him? That he’s a black man that’s accomplished, became president? That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? What is it about him? Just wondering.”

 

Lemon then played a clip of former President George W. Bush speaking about the coronavirus. The CNN host called it an example of “a real president showing compassion for his fellow Americans.”

“How does President Trump respond?” Lemon said. “Predictably, he makes it all about him, about his wounded pride, his constant airing of grievances, tweeting that former President Bush didn’t defend him on impeachment.”

“How about showing some compassion?” Lemon added.

How Is This ‘News?’

Conservative social media guru Benny Johnson said in his tweet, “This isn’t journalism.” He’s absolutely correct.

A CNN anchor running off at the mouth about a President he absolutely despises is acceptable practice at CNN? Apparently so.

Of course, this is nothing new. As conservative columnist and host Tim Young noted, “#DonLemon asks Trump, ‘Why are you so obsessed with Obama?” on Don Lemon’s 5,000th consecutive show ranting about Trump.”

Amen.

And don’t expect Don Lemon or CNN to change one bit.

Here We Go: Democrats Equate Halting WHO Funding To ‘Impeachable’ Offenses

House Democrats are using language which compares impeachment to President Trump’s order to halt funding to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The President announced earlier this week that his administration would stop funding until a review could be conducted into whether the WHO was responsible for “severely mismanaging and covering up” spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“So much death has been caused by their mistakes,” he said at a press briefing.

Democrats Side Against America

To nobody’s surprise, Democrats have all lined up in unison behind the WHO and against America. They have suggested President Trump lacks the authority to cut funding already approved by Congress.

The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday tweeted that Trump’s actions were “illegal.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) also claimed Trump’s move to defund the group was “dangerous,” “illegal,” and will be “swiftly challenged.”

We’re starting to get an idea of what she meant.

Impeach!

The WHO is an organization that helped spread Chinese disinformation on the coronavirus and urged nations to keep their borders open during the pandemic.

Countless lives were lost either to their corruption or coordination with the Chinese Communist Party.

That said, Pelosi’s threat to ‘swiftly challenge’ Trump’s move to halt funding to such a group apparently equates to yet another push for impeachment.

“In a desperate attempt to deflect blame, President Trump is violating the same spending laws that brought about his impeachment,” said Evan Hollander, House Appropriations Committee spokesman.

“The President does not have the unilateral authority to withhold the United States’ assessed contribution to the World Health Organization.”

They Care More About China

Congressional Democrats never opposed Barack Obama on the numerous occasions that he put conditions on aid to other nations or organizations when they weren’t serving the best interests of the United States.

The most famous of which, naturally, was when the Obama administration, according to former Vice President Joe Biden’s own words, threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine until they fired a prosecutor investigating a company involved with his son, Hunter.

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas said that Democrats seem to care more about protecting China and the World Health Organization than they do about the well-being of our own country.

Roy suggested America should “encourage the WHO to step up and get it right,” as opposed to siding with “the communists in China” and “against the interests of the United States.”

But then, they wouldn’t be modern-day Democrats if they sided with America.

Obama Accuses Trump Of Denying Coronavirus Warnings, Ted Cruz Fires Back

Barack Obama took a not-so-veiled swipe at President Trump, accusing his administration of ‘denying’ warning signs of a pandemic.

The former President took the jab on social media, sharing an article that discussed the White House’s efforts to roll back Obama-era regulations on gas mileage and emissions.

“We’ve seen all too terribly the consequences of those who denied warnings of a pandemic. We can’t afford any more consequences of climate denial,” he wrote. “All of us, especially young people, have to demand better of our government at every level and vote this fall.”

Cruz Missile

Texas senator Ted Cruz responded by pointing out the obvious – that while President Trump was implementing travel restrictions to slow the pandemic, Nancy Pelosi and Obama’s former VP Joe Biden were fighting it.

“Bold: Obama calls for the overwhelming electoral defeat of Joe Biden [and] Nancy Pelosi, after they opposed [and] demagogued Trump’s China travel ban, which helped slow the coronavirus pandemic,” he wrote.

There is little doubt at this point that Trump’s actions did just that, with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, pointing out repeatedly that the President’s actions slowed the spread and saved lives.

Cruz is right – it was Democrats like Biden and Pelosi who hammered the President for daring to implement travel restrictions to combat the pandemic or ignored his warnings.

“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria xenophobia, hysterical xenophobia, and fear-mongering to lead the way instead of science,” Biden said on the day Trump announced the restrictions.

House Speaker Pelosi meanwhile, has been accused by President Trump of ignoring his attempts to tighten travel restrictions.

“All she did was focus on impeachment. She didn’t focus on anything having to do with pandemics,” he insisted.

She also must have missed when Trump addressed the coronavirus outbreak in his State of the Union speech, perhaps more focused on her staged protest – ripping up her copy – than on what he was actually saying.

Takes Guts

It takes a tremendous amount of chutzpah for Obama to accuse Trump of denying the pandemic knowing full well his administration helped handcuff any actions he may have taken.

In 2009, the H1N1 swine flu pandemic triggered a massive deployment of respirators and masks, but the Obama administration never set about replenishing the stockpile, despite warnings from multiple experts.

Also that year, Obama scrapped the White House Health and Security Office, which worked on international health issues.

And a Fox News report, citing yearly budget requests, reveals “the Obama administration repeatedly sought to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in funding to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”

MSNBC’s Joy Reid Claims Trump Supporters are Racists Who Revolted Against ‘Smart People’

MSNBC host Joy Reid just launched a vile attack on supporters of President Donald Trump, reminding all of us just how little liberal elites think of conservatives.

While covering the Nevada Caucuses, Reid revealed why she thinks Trump won the 2016 election, and she unsurprisingly chalked his victory up to racism.

“Even though Donald Trump did not have a majority, the hungry constituency was a lot of white ethnic voters, north and south, who said ‘we’re taking this country back from the brown people, the immigrants. We’re getting rid of unlawful migration,'” Reid said.

Reid went on to imply that Republicans are less intelligent than liberals. Paraphrasing what she felt they were thinking, Reid said, ‘We don’t care what you say… The smart, the smarty pants, the college educated…forget them. We’re the hungriest.'”

This is far from the first time Reid has attacked Trump and his supporters in this way. Back in 2017, Reid described Trump as the worst version of Americans, according to The Blaze.

“If you think of the presidency as a national avatar, Obama is who we hope we are, and Donald Trump is who we fear we are,” Reid said, adding that Trumpism is “something sort of guttural…like playing to all of your base fears of other people—your anger, your rage, your neediness. The core of his need is this black hole inside himself is kind of what America fears—like the crass part of ourselves is becoming.”

Republicans aren’t the only ones Reid calls racist, however, as she also hurls this attack at Democrats who disagree with her. Earlier this month, she accused 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg of being racist for using the word “heartland” in a tweet.

“So I want to read you a tweet from you,” she said. “‘In the face of unprecedented challenges, we need a president whose vision was shaped by the American Heartland rather than the ineffective Washington politics we’ve come to know and expect.’ I got a lot of texts on that tweet. Not positive. From people saying, ‘heartland’—that sounds to a lot of people like a dog whistle to white voters.”

No wonder MSNBC is struggling in the ratings. How can anyone take anything a race-baiter like Reid says seriously?
