This marks the second time Marjorie Taylor Greene has brought forward articles of impeachment against the DHS chief this year, the first time being in May.

The latest committee findings come as the House considers whether to advance or block Marjorie Taylor Greene’s impeachment resolution of Alejandro Mayorkas.

The move comes on the same day that House Republicans held the first hearing in President Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry.

The first impeachment-inquiry hearing into President Biden is set for Thursday morning.

‘Everybody always asks about impeachment. I get up every day — not a joke — not focused on impeachment. I’ve got a job to do,’ the president said.

‘It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,’ a draft White House letter read.

‘This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public,’ McCarthy said.

McCarthy is expected to endorse the move at a closed-door meeting this week.
